Hey guys, so i had a lot of people ask me to continue this story! I decided now that the series is officially over to continue and work on Season 6. Obviously a lot happened in Season 6 that I didn't like. it was so rushed because there were only so many episodes. And a lot was left out! I was so upset! They didn't even give Puck and Quinn their closure but thankfully my story was way ahead of the game as it should've been. So Just ignore the epilogue I had originally posted and imagine Season5 went on as it did and enjoy Season 6.
Loser Like Me/Homecoming
"IT'S TIME TO TRY DEFYING GRAVITY..."
Noelle groaned as she reached for her phone, the popular song from Wicked blaring out of the IPhone on the nightstand.
"Rachel Barbra Berry-Hudson, you better have a good explanation for calling me at 6:30 in the morning," Noelle growled into the phone. A groan escaped from the stirring body next to her and Noelle laughed as her husband rolled over.
"Good morning to you too, Baby Sister-in-law," came Rachel's voice.
"Noelle, for the love of god, tell Rachel that if the sun isn't up then it's too early to be on the phone," came the cranky voice of Josh.
"Did you get that?" Noelle asked Rachel.
"Yes. Tell Josh I'm sorry. I was up feeding your nieces and nephews and I had to call you. Four babies under three are not as easy as I thought."
"Okay, that I forgive you for," Noelle replied. "How are you holding up?"
"I'm okay," Rachel replied. "I still miss him everyday, but your mom and dad have been very helpful. So, anyway, the reason I'm calling is I have some good news."
"What's that?" asked Noelle.
"I got the superintendent to reinstate the Glee Club!" said Rachel excitedly. Noelle sprang up in her and Josh's bed excitedly.
"What?" Noelle asked excitedly. "Shut the front door!"
"What's going on?" Josh asked, now suddenly wide awake and filled with interest.
"Rachel got the glee club reinstated!" said Noelle excitedly. "Hang on Rach, I'm going to put you on speaker." Noelle pushed a button. "Okay, can you hear me now?"
"Loud and clear!" said Rachel.
"How in the hell did you manage to go above Sue Sylvester's head and get the New Directions rebooted?" Josh asked.
"The superintendent has a HUGE distaste for Sue Sylvester," said Rachel. "He's been a HUGE fan of the New Directions since our sophomore year. He was LIVID when the glee club shut down. He knew money was an issue so when I told him I wanted to reboot the glee club and that I would pay for it from what I had left from Wicked, he agreed. I need your guys' help. I need everyone's help. I called Puck and Quinn, and Sam and Cedes and Santana and Britt, and I mean everyone. Homecoming's on Friday so the majority of them were coming home anyways, but can you guys get here by tomorrow afternoon?"
"Of course! We'll be on the next flight out of Nashville!" said Noelle. "Shit, I'm gonna have to call Jayce and tell him I'll be gone for a couple weeks. We were recording all this week and next. He'll understand though."
"And I will have to email my professors and tell them, but I'm pretty sure they will give me credit since it's involving music and stuff," said Josh.
"Great! Be in the auditorium at Noon! I haven't told Kurt yet that everyone's coming. He's still pretty depressed since Blaine broke up with him and I thought this might be a good way to cheer him up and get the whole gang back together."
"How is Blaine, have you talked to him?" asked Josh.
"Umm, yeah, you won't believe it, but Blaine took over the Warblers as a mentor slash advisor," replied Rachel.
"No way," said Noelle. "You mean he's the enemy again?"
"And it gets worse," said Rachel. "Mr. Schue is the coach of Vocal Adrenaline."
"WHAT?!" cried Josh and Noelle.
"I knew he and Emma moved with Daniel after Glee Club ended and got a new teaching gig, but seriously? Vocal Adrenaline?!" cried Noelle. "How come he didn't tell us?"
"I think he didn't want to tell any of us right away," said Rachel. "And they need the money."
"I feel like I've been sold-out," sighed Josh.
"Okay, well, we'll see you tomorrow then, Rach!" said Noelle.
"Okay! Remember! Noon in the auditorium!" Rachel repeated.
"Aye aye, Captain!" replied Noelle.
"I swear Kurt, I heard this mystery voice and I know I'm not hearing things!" said Rachel as they walked into the auditorium.
"Found the good mic!" said Kurt, not listening.
"Kurt, I'm serious!" Rachel replied.
"Sorry, what?" asked Kurt. "Oh, your mystery voice."
"Kurt, I had an epiphany the other day. There's only one way we're going to recruit people for the glee club," said Rachel. "So I got on the phone yesterday."
"With who?" asked Kurt. Suddenly, the dark auditorium stage lit up and Kurt gasped as he saw Santana, Brittney, Mercedes, Josh, and Noelle on the stage.
"With everyone!" said Santana excitedly.
"Surprise Big Brother!" said Noelle.
"Come on, let's go say hi!" said Rachel, dragging Kurt towards the stage. Sam, Artie, Harmony, Heather and Melissa appeared on the stage as everyone greeted each other. Puck and Quinn followed in with Beth and their 14 month old son, Alexander Finn Puckerman.
"Aunt Noelle! Uncle Josh!" said four year-old Beth excitedly, running up to Noelle.
"Hi Monkey Face, we missed you!" said Noelle as Josh scooped up the bubbly four year old.
"I missed you too!" said Beth.
"What about me, Bethie?" asked Rachel as she and Kurt came up to the group.
"I missed you too Aunt Rachie!" said Beth, hugging her godmother.
"Speaking of unplanned offspring," started Santana, "where are the Finchel Four?"
"Carole's off today, so she's watching them," said Rachel. Just then, Mike and Tina hurried in from backstage.
"Dangit you guys, I told you to wait for us while we parked the rental car!" cried Tina.
"Aww, Tina!" cried Mercedes.
"Tina! Tina! Tina!" chanted the girls as Mike hugged the guys.
"Now the whole gang is back to reboot the Glee club!" said Rachel. "Group hug!"
A short while later, the alumni gathered in the choir room as Kurt and Rachel stood in front of a piano. Artie was drawing on a large notepad.
"It's so great to have you all together in this room again," said Rachel. "It means so much to us that you would come at the drop of a hat."
"Artie, are you drawing me?" Quinn asked as she looked over her friend's shoulder.
"Nope, just your boobs," replied Artie, earning several puzzled looks from the others and a "Mmmm" from Sam.
"I'm practicing for my storyboarding class," Artie assured the others.
"Okay, we need to focus," interrupted Rachel.
"Yeah, guys, we really got to focus here, okay?" asked Kurt. "We-We're in crisis mode, all right? Glee Club has done so much for all of us. You know? It brought us together, it-it gave us hope, it put us out in the world."
"And it brought some of us home again," said Rachel sadly.
"She's talking about me," added Sam.
"Here's the situation," continued Rachel. "We need you guys back. Not all the time, we realize that you have lives in other places."
"We've got to get Glee Club back on its feet, you know?" added Kurt. "Especially since now some of us are the competition.
"He's talking about Shue and Blaine," continued Sam.
"We need you back. Not all the time, but if you're not here, then the tradition of the club we love so much will be gone," said Kurt.
"So we're going to find kids that can bring something to it the same way that we did, and we will mentor them based on our strengths," said Rachel.
"But right now we really got to get out there and take on the school. You know, really rattle Sue's cage," said Kurt. He turned to the large boombox on the piano behind them. "We are going to give McKinley a little taste of what they've been missing."
As he turned it on and the music started, the alumni grinned and gave a chorus of approval as they gathered around Artie and started to sing.

As the group ended their number in the cafeteria, Sue Sylvester grabbed Artie's notebook and threw it in the trash. The group looked around and saw that the once bubbly dancing students in the cafeteria were now just sitting there doing nothing and they had realized their participation had just been a figment of their imaginations.
Well, despite everyone's efforts to recruit members for the Glee Club, no one wanted to join. The Unholy Trinity and Artie tried to recruit members of the Cheerios. Two of them seemed interested until the four stumbled upon Kitty Wilde. Harmony had said that after the Glee Club disbanded, Sue had forced the remaining members of the New Directions that hadn't graduated to transfer schools. All except Kitty apparently. Kitty was still the HBIC. Harmony had managed to graduate early with her college credit and had just missed having to move to another school. Kurt, Sam, and Josh tried to recruit the jocks, including a gay football player who Kurt heard singing, and Puck, Mercedes, Quinn, Mike, Tina and Noelle tried to recruit the Tea Party, to Noelle's dismay. As soon as the head of the Tea Party club started spewing off hate about President Obama the LBGT community, Noelle started spewing off profanities at the Tea Party Club and Puck and Mike had to drag her away before she punched someone in the face. Beth and Alexander thankfully, were spending the day with Carole and Burt and the Finchel Four while the group did the recruiting, so Beth and Alex didn't have to hear their aunt cussing.
"Okay guys, progress report!" said Rachel as she entered the choir room as the alumni gathered on the bleachers. "How's it going with the new recruits?"
"Horrible," replied Quinn.
"It ain't workin'," said Puck.
"Noelle almost killed the Tea Party Club," said Tina and Rachel grew a horror of look on her face as she stared at everyone.
"Well, the little jerks deserved it for what they said," replied Noelle.
"It's not good, Rachel," said Mercedes. "Glee Club has fallen so far at this school, we're not gonna be able to get anyone to join."
Just then, the group stopped as they heard a male's voice singing. It was coming from the vent.
"There's the voice again!" said Rachel. The group scurried over to the vent and gathered around it as they listened to the singing.
"Dudes, he's in the showers in the locker room," said Sam as Artie nodded. "They're always in the showers."
"Shh!" hushed the others as Santana whispered "Be Quiet!"
Can you hear me now?
Can you hear me now?
I'm singing out
as LOUD as I know how
But am I LOUD enough?
The group had followed the voice through the school and ended up in the newly remodeled library and found the tall boy Roderick that Rachel had scared away earlier in the week.
"Are you guys gonna beat me up? 'Cause I just need a second to get in the fetal position," said Roderick as he noticed the alumni crowd around him and he scurried to the floor.
"No, no, we we heard you singing," said Noelle.
"Yeah, you're amazing," said Mercedes.
"Dude, you've got to audition for the glee club," said Josh.
"So people can make fun of me more than they already do? Even the principal calls me "White Precious," said Roderick. Puck laughed.
"Come here, you are precious," said Puck, helping him up.
"Well, all anybody cares about in Glee Club is the way you sing," said Quinn.
"Look, no one has signed up for your club yet, right?" asked Roderick. "Okay. Well, having me as your first member is just gonna drive kids away even more. I have designed my entire life around people not noticing me."
"Look, no one has wanted to feel more invisible than I have over the past year," said Rachel. "But when I'm with these people, they remind me of the best parts of myself. And they would never make fun of me."
"Mmm, not to her face, no way," said Brittney as Harmony, Heather and Melissa chuckled.
"You're the poster child for Glee Club. You're why Mr. Shue started the club in the first place. I-It's a place where misfits can fit in," said Noelle.
"Will you please try out? I'm really sorry that I came on so strong. But you can sing whatever you want," said Rachel.
"Yeah, I guarantee you're gonna get in," said Kurt.
"Look at all of us," said Quinn. "We're all so different, and yet there's nothing that we wouldn't do for each other. We're all just a phone call away. And that is because we took a chance on Glee Club."
"And that's something that you deserve as well," said Harmony.
"I thought you said no poaching!" Blaine shouted at Rachel as he entered the choir room the next day to everyone's horror as they stood with Roderick and another new recruit. Jane Hayward had gotten into Dalton after winning a discrimination lawsuit and had wanted to join the Warblers, however, the Warblers refused to let her in so Jane had approached Rachel and asked to join the New Directions.
"I didn't poach any of your students!" hissed Rachel.
"I came here on my own," said Jane.
"Okay, seriously, what makes you think you can come in here and accuse Rachel of poaching students?" asked Kurt.
"Guys, guys, come on," Noelle said, trying to keep the peace. "Make love, not war." She pointed to Kurt. "That's a figure of speech, Kurt."
"The new and improved glee club has officially begun!" said Rachel. "Introducing our first two members, Jane and Roderick!"
The group cheered as Blaine rolled his eyes.
"If you build it, they will come," said Sam in a deep voice.
"Well, they'd better come fast," said Tina. "I mean, I'm sorry, but two people?"
"Shut up, Tina," chorused Noelle, Harmony, Heather, Melissa, and Quinn.
"There's actually four," added Santana. "As per usual, my undeniable sexual magnetism has worked yet again." She motioned to a boy and girl in Cheerios uniforms that entered the choir room. "Ladies and gentlemen, this is Mason and Madison McCarthy."
"Hey, gang," said Mason. "We're super pumped there's a glee club again. Now, I know what you're thinking. They can obviously log roll and kick toss, but can they sing? Well, not to toot our own horns..."
"Toot! But we've won karaoke night at the Wapakoneta Summer Cheer Camp every year since we were three. It's in our blood." Madison smiled. "Our parents met while touring with the inspirational, world-famous singing group, Up with People." Mason made a "Raise The Roof" motion with his arms.
"Oh, no, no, no, no," said Santana. "I think I've made a mistake."
"No, it's okay" said Rachel. "You're welcome. I mean, you're gonna have to audition. We have a very rigorous process."
"I mean, not really, Sugar Motta was literally tone-deaf," said Noelle.
"Yeah, but she was hot," said Artie, earning strange looks from everyone.
"I'm actually really happy," continued Rachel as she turned to the alumni. "This is the start of something really special. And I know that most of you came home just for homecoming and not for me and Kurt, but we can't tell you how grateful we are for your help."
Everyone smiled as she motioned to them to come over to her.
"Get over here."
"Let's hug."
"Bring it in."
"Get in for this."
"You guys, bring it in! Start getting comfortable with group hugs," said Noelle to the newbies. And then Sam started playing his guitar and whistling as the group got ready for the homecoming bonfire. Rachel, Kurt, and Sam joined Puck on a golf cart that was parked outside the choir room.
Alumni:

As the cart disappeared out into the night air, Santana and Brittney were walking along by the bonfire, surrounded by the students and alumni of McKinley.
Santana (with Brittany):
Man, oh, man, you're my best friend
I'll scream it to the nothingness
(There ain't nothing that I need)
Alumni:
Ho!
Soon, the rest of the New Directions Alumni and the newest members started showing up. Harmony wheeled Artie towards the bonfire as Mike and Tina joined Sam and Mercedes.
Artie with Harmony:
Well, hot and heavy pumpkin pie
Mike and Tina:
