Hello everyone. I know I said I planned to release this chapter December last year, I'm sorry for not updating sooner when I said I planned to release this chapter in December last year. I have no excuses, I just didn't spend much time on writing for this story. Hopefully I've made up for not updating with this chapter that's longer in length than usual for this story.
Chapter 16 – Clash of Famiglias
Act One
Tsuna stared at his brother and Kyoko. They were having dinner at the outside part of a restaurant. The streets around the two were filled with people shopping and people hanging out with friends and family.
Behind a pair of bushes, about twenty feet away from Tezuka and Kyoko, Gokudera was hiding, spying on Tezuka as much as Tsuna and Fran were doing, but Tsuna thought that they were doing it more subtle by hiding on a roof not far from the restaurant. Fran was using his illusionary abilities to hide them from view on top of that, which ensured they wouldn't be found. Unless of course the one who would deliver the Vongola half rings was Mammon, the elite illusionist of Varia, or Mokuro. Mokuro however, was behind bars and Mammon was in Italy, so that was out of the question.
From their Famiglia HQ they had received information about the rings. The rings were split into two pieces, one given to the current boss of the family and the other given to the head of CEDEF, the external advisors of Vongola, which would have been Tsuna's father, but the other pair of half vongola rings was now with the current CEDEF boss, someone called Lal. There wasn't much information on this Lal person, other than that she had connections to the Arcobaleno. She was dangerous, and Tsuna and Fran had to be prepared to fight her if she were to show up.
Tsuna was the underboss of the Gesso Famiglia, with Fran being number 3 of the Famiglia. They were feared throughout the mafia world under their pseudonym names. Tsuna was called Lion, and Fran was called Frog. Not many had survived encountering Frog and Lion. Their identities remained a mystery, and they usually wore white masks to hide their faces. People didn't know which Famiglia their allegiance lay with. Their pseudonym names were whispers among the people in the mafia world.
"Would you mind if I bash your brother's skull in Tsuna-senpai?" Fran asked. He wore a black coat, blue pants and a blue long sleeve shirt. He wore a frog mask. Tsuna wore similar clothes, except his mask was the shape of a lion. They were dressed as Gesso's Lion and Frog. Both knew that this meant that they were on an official mission for the famiglia.
"Hmmm, as long as we get the half rings, I don't care what you do to that bastard, and don't call him my brother, it makes me feel disgusted," Tsuna said, in the voice of the underboss of the Gesso Famiglia. Gone was the boy Tsuna, a hardened mafiosi stood in his place.
Tsuna watched every step of Tezuka and Gokudera. Their informants had told them that someone from CEDEF was bringing their half rings directly to Tezuka, opting this over the usual ceremony when the boss of Vongola and CEDEF bestowed their half of the vongola rings to the new Vongola boss. Tsuna thought that this was strange, why would Nono and Lal not just give the whole ring to Tezuka together? It would save Fran and Tsuna the hassle of having to encounter Vongola twice for the two sets of half vongola rings. There had to be something going on, and even Fran felt it, as he had voiced his concern earlier, wondering too why CEDEF was behaving this way.
"Tsunaaaaaaa!" A screeching voice yelled out. Tsuna and Fran froze.
"It can't be," Fran muttered under his breath, "the stupid cow? But how!? I put a strong illusion around, did he smell us or something?"
A minute later, someone had opened the door to the staircase that lead to the roof. Lambo, dressed in his cow patterned pajamas, was looking around. "Tsunaaaaaa! Baka-Franieee!"
"Can I kill him now senpai?" Fran asked with a murderous tone. Tsuna ignored Fran and watched curiously as the cow looked around for them.
"Your illusion isn't the problem, there's something else wrong, it's like he can feel our presence," Tsuna said, pointing to Lambo who was looking towards them, but at the same time still had a face written in confusion.
"Look, senpai!" Fran suddenly said, pointing to Lambo's head, "there's a ring in his hair, and it looks like the pictures Lollypop sent us!" And when Tsuna looked, he was shocked to see that it was true what Fran had said. Why in God's name would a five year old have a Vongola ring? The situation made him wonder what the hell was going on. He looked towards Fran and said, "get the ring."
Fran nodded and used his years of experience to sneak up to the cow boy and quickly grab the ring out of Lambo's hair. Lambo turned around and touched his head. Then the boy started looking for Tsuna and Fran again.
"Good job," Tsuna said when Fran returned. Fran gave the ring to Tsuna, and it was as they had suspected. It was a Vongola ring, only one half though. This was the ring that belonged to the guardian of lightning. "We'll have to ask Baron about this," he said, putting the ring away in one of his pockets. At least they had one ring now.
Tsuna and Fran turned their eyes towards Lambo, making sure that the boy wouldn't bump into them.
Lambo, after a while of looking for Tsuna and Fran, turned around and left down the staircase. "Dumb Fran, stupid Tsuna, leaving me all alone! They should buy me ice-cream next time, and Takoyaki!"
"Stupid cow," Fran muttered.
Tsuna wanted to tell Fran to be nicer to Lambo, but his energy was focused on his damned brother, and the rings.
"Incoming," Fran said as he watched someone appear up ahead on another roof. The man had long hair that looked a mix between silver and white. A sword protruded from one of his arms. Tsuna knew this man, and he had no doubt that Fran knew him as well. The man was Superbi Squali, second in command of Varia, the elite assassination unit part of Vongola.
"Varia?" Tsuna asked out loud, shocked. The situation was getting more out of hand by each moment that passed. This was no longer a steal-the-half-vongola-ring-from-CEDEF mission anymore. Did Tsuna need to call for backup this early in the mission? He hoped to avoid calling backup at all, but Varia and CEDEF, perhaps this was too much for just the two of them. They would just have to escape if things got out of hand, but he was worried for Fran more than for himself.
Tsuna watched as Squalo turned to attack Tezuka. His pathetic brother quickly became angry. Kyoko was scared. And then another person entered the scene, a boy who had dirty blond hair who carried a boomerang shaped blade and had his hyper dying will mode activated. The boy shouted something to Tezuka. Gokudera jumped forward to protect Tezuka. The people around the shopping center ran away. Gokudera was kicked away into a building when Squalo appeared before him. The grey haired mafiose laid unconscious, blood seeping from his head down to his jaw.
Squalo's attacks tore the buildings apart, and the boy with the hyper dying will mode activated struggled to protect Tezuka from Squalo. But his pathetic brother didn't seem to need protection, as a red aura appeared around him. His brother shot shots of plasma towards Squalo, who in return dodged and blocked them with his blade. Squalo seemed surprised at Tezuka's powers, probably not expecting it.
"When do we intervene?" Fran asked as Squalo kicked Tezuka into a building. The newcomer tried to protect Tezuka, but Squalo defeated him easily. Then Yamamato Takeshi came down from above out of nowhere, with his kendo blade in his hands, intending to slam it into squalo. Squalo just smirked and sidestepped, and then kneed Takeshi, causing the teen to topple over before being elbowed into sleep.
"Until we see the rings," Tsuna said, looking down with focused eyes. Squalo was upon Tezuka faster than Tezuka could move, and Tsuna thought that the man was going to kill his pathetic brother that instant, when suddenly the newcomer with his hyper dying will mode flames jumped up towards Squali and blocked the blade that was going to hurt Tezuka.
The newcomer was no treat to Squalo. Squalo simply kicked the legs from underneath the newcomer and slammed his elbow into his chest. The newcomer gasped in pain. Then Tsuna saw a box fall down to the ground from the newcomer's jacket. The box opened when it touched the ground and revealed a set of rings.
"The rings," Fran muttered, ready to jump down.
Tsuna held up his hand. "No wait, those aren't the rings we're looking for," Tsuna said, "I can't sense dying will flames from them, they're fake." Perhaps Tsuna was too wary, but he didn't trust how easily the newcomer had dropped the box of rings, as if he did it on purpose. Tsuna wasn't surprised that Squalo didn't notice the quality of the rings or sit still to examine them. The man was too arrogant and too wild to suspect that the rings were fake.
Squalo went off to finish the newcomer and Tezuka, but then a smoke bomb dropped down and the newcomer and Tezuka disappeared. Gokudera and Takeshi's bodies were gone too. Tsuna had seen that none other than Dino, head of the Chiavarone Famiglia, had pulled them all away from the scene with the help of his men. Dino's entrance was yet another surprise to Tsuna, but it shouldn't have been, seeing as the Chiavarone Famiglia was close allies to Vongola.
Tsuna pondered on the situation and bit his lip. The newcomer with the boomerang shaped blade was definitely skilled, but not on par with Tsuna and Fran. Squalo and Dino on the other hand were very formidable opponents. Tsuna was sure he could beat both men, but if Squalo was here, that meant Xanxus and the other powerful members of varia were not far away.
"Varia was here for the rings too, it seems Vongola is having an internal struggle," Tsuna said. "It'll make stealing the rings more difficult." He cursed inwardly. This was supposed to be a simple hit and retrieve mission, but it had turned into a maze he wondered was worth getting into for the prize in its center. He snapped out of it. Of course the prize was worth it. The vongola rings would make Gesso the strongest famiglia in Italy. Only a select few knew the power that dwelled inside those rings and the other special rings.
Fran and Tsuna retreated from the scene and went to their new hideout. Gesso had deleted all school files containing information about the duo. They had to remove all trails that they left behind, to ensure that they wouldn't be found out. That included changing hideouts. Staying in their old apartment would be too risky. They were only in that school for a recon mission, but information gathering was over, it was time for action.
Their old hideout was another apartment, but on the outer skirts of town this time, far away from Namimori High.
As the underboss of Gesso, Tsuna had the right to make quick decisions in these sort of situations without informing the boss. Baron trusted him, so whatever decision he took, it was in the best interest for the famiglia.
Still, what was the best interest for the famiglia in this situation? He didn't have an answer when he sank his back into the couch of their new living room.
"I think we should strike tomorrow when all the rings have been delivered to Tezuka's guardians," Fran suddenly said. Tsuna knew what he meant. At first they only had a hunch as to why Lambo had a Vongola ring, but when Tsuna noted that the Vongola rings that the stranger had dropped were fake, all became clear. The stranger was most likely a person from CEDEF, on a mission to give the real half vongola rings to the rightful guardians, and leaving behind the fake rings for varia, to deceive them.
"You're right," Tsuna replied, "let's go." Tsuna and Fran stood and left their apartment.
{Clash of Famiglias}
Fran and Tsuna's suspicion had been right. The rings were with their guardians. Yamamato Takeshi had received one as the Rain Guardian, Gokudera Hayato had received one as the Storm Guardian and Kyoko's brother Ryohei had received a ring as the Sun Guardian. Lambo was the Lightning Guardian, but he no longer had a ring thanks to Tsuna and Fran. Fran went looking for the Cloud Guardian, and to Tsuna's surprise, the owner was none other than Hibari Kyoya. The owner of the Mist ring remained a mystery. The owner of the sky ring was Tezuka, which came to no surprise to Fran and Tsuna.
Currently all guardians save for Hibari and the Mist guardian were in the hospital, where Tezuka and the others who had gotten hurt during the battle with Squalo were getting treatment. Namimori General was a small hospital, but it had all needs to treat all types of illness and trauma. It was also the same hospital where Tsuna's mom was admitted.
Tsuna had told Fran about his mom's situation, and the boy with turquoise eyes only nodded. His instincts told him to visit his mom, but his heart told him to never forgive her for how she treated him. Tsuna knew that Fran saw the clash of feelings in his eyes, but he was thankful that his adopted brother didn't choose to prod him further on the matter.
The plan was for Tsuna and Fran to enter the hospital and take the rings from the guardians. It would be easy, seeing as nearly all of them were present in one room. However, Reborn was present as well, and Tsuna held no hopes that the strongest hitman in the world wouldn't intervene. Reborn wasn't just going to let Tsuna take the rings. Reborn was just too strong. They needed another plan.
Thankfully for Tsuna and Fran, a messenger from Gesso came to visit them. The man kneeled in front of Tsuna. He wore white clothes and had a mask on in the shape of a bird, like all underlings of Gesso wore. Tsuna nodded to the man after he had delivered his message, and told him that Tsuna and Fran had the situation under control and they didn't need any backup from HQ.
"This changes the situation entirely Fran," Tsuna proclaimed, as he watched with narrow eyes to the scene below. The duo was hidden behind tree branches on a long oak tree. The messenger had told them that Varia was going to have battles to decide who should inherit the Vongola rings and rule Vongola. This would mean that the ownership of the rings wouldn't be go through an out all warn, it would go through single battles.
"You have a plan don't you senpai, I can see it in your eyes," Fran said, giggling behind his mask, "at least we'll have some fun."
"Varia's going to arrive in Namimori soon, we'll face them at that point and make our presence known. The rings will be ours Fran, and we won't have to bother gathering two halves now, we'll just take both halves at the same time." Tsuna said. Then the two elites from the Gesso Famiglia disappeared, one in sky flames while the other in mist flames.
{Clash of Famiglias}
He didn't know why he did it, but his legs took him to the hospital that night. The streets were empty, only the night's wind walking and passing through him like a ghost. Funny, he thought, in reality, he was a ghost, everyone did think he was dead after all.
There was the hospital up ahead, the light of its reception hall illuminating the pavement. He sighed, pulled his coat closer and walked into the hospital.
There was no one present, save for the nurse behind the reception desk. She had dark hair and dark eyes, and had a warm smile to her when Tsuna walked up to the desk and inquired about his mother, of course without calling her mother, because that would reveal that he was alive instead of buried in the graveyard on the outer skirts of town. "Miss Sawada is in room 255, it's up one floor, and then you have to turn to the right if you take the elevator, and to the left if you take the stairs." Tsuna chose the elevator, too tired mentally to take the stairs. He turned to the right when the elevator opened its doors again.
The hall was quiet, the floors clear as sky and the walls white as one would expect the walls of a hospital to be. A nurse was up ahead walking with a cart filled with medical things like needles and medicine. She only glanced at Tsuna as he walked passed her.
Room 255 was not far from the elevator. He didn't dare open the door, and only looked through the long narrow window next to the door that allowed doctors and nurses to look inside before coming in.
His mother was a shade of her former self. Her hair was disheveled, too gray for her age, her skin was paler than he remembered and her eyes were devoid of life, as if she wasn't really there. He gulped at seeing her.
Tsuna then bitterly remembered how the woman had treated him in his past life. She always told him that he should try to be more like Tezuka, and always favored Tezuka over him. He wondered what was wrong with the woman who he refused to ever verbally call mother. How could a mother treat one of her children like that for so long?
He opened the door and walked inside the room. The hospital room smelled of lilacs and roses. He saw a vase filled with the flowers and knew where the source of the fragrance had come from. He looked to his mother and wanted to hug her, not knowing why because he thought that he hated her. Then he clenched his teeth and decided to leave, not sure why he came here in the first place.
"Tsuna?" A broken voice asked. Tsuna looked at the bed and made eye contact with his mother. Her eyes suddenly seemed to light up, and she stood from her bed and ran up to him. She looked at him and smiled. "Tsuna," she whispered, tears trickling down her face.
Tsuna's anger was gone. He didn't know why, because he still held a hatred for the woman. Perhaps it was because they shared blood that he didn't curse at the woman and tell her what a horrible mother she'd been. Or was it pity that he had for a woman who had gotten sick and needed treatment?
He refused to say a word, only looking at the woman in front of him. In his mind he had a thousand things to say, but the words refused to leave his lips. His mother put a hand up to Tsuna's chest, as if to confirm he was really there. His own hand took flight to hers, wanting to caress her hand, but halted when he remembered what the woman had done to him. He dropped his hand, and his mother looked mortified, tears trickling down even faster. He stepped back.
"I'm sorry Tsuna, if only I cared more for you, then you'd still be alive," she said as she dropped to the floor in a mess. Then she yelled in grief.
So that was it, Tsuna thought without any particular emotion. The woman thought he was a ghost, come here to haunt her. Well, perhaps it was better that way. The nurses or doctors would be here any moment now, he thought, after having heard his mother's shout. He looked to the open window, walked over to it, and jumped through it, landing on the thick branch of the tree next to the hospital room's window.
He looked behind over his shoulder one final time, and said his goodbyes to the woman he would never see again. He smiled bitterly in the darkness of the night, the cold winds still going through him, and then disappeared in red and orange flames.
{Clash of Famiglias}
Fuuta was holding Lambo and I-Pin close. A big man with dark spiky hair and sharp umbrellas behind his back had cornered them.
"Give me the ring," he said gruffly.
"We don't have a ring!" Fuuta shouted scared.
The big man stepped forward, his face scowling. "Don't lie to me, I know one of you has the rings."
"Bastard, what are you doing here in Namimori?" A voice suddenly said. Fuuta turned and smiled. It was Tezukia-nii, and he wasn't looking too happy. Gokudera and Takeshi flanked him. Reborn was standing on a nearby wall, and another arcobaleno, a female one, was standing next to him.
The female arcobaleno jumped in between the big guy and Tezuka. "Enough!" She shouted, "what are you doing here Varia?"
"It's you, Lal Mirch," the big guy said, "that's none of your business." And then the big guy was kicked on the head. He caressed his head and looked angry, and even more angry when he saw who had kicked him, "what gives Belphegor?"
"Shut your trap," another voice said. It was a youth with dark hair and a scar running through his face. He was flanked by a tall slim man with exotic hair, and an arcobaleno hidden beneath a cloak. "Why haven't you retrieved the ring yet, Leviathan? Our flame sensors sensed the presence of a ring here"
"Forgive me Xanxus-sama," Leviathan said, a blush appearing on his face. "I was going to get the ring, but CEDEF's leader appeared, and those people," he pointed to Reborn, Tezuka, Gokudera and Yamamato.
"Yosh! What's going on here? I'll have you say sorry to the extreme!" A white haired person said as he ran towards the scene. It was Ryohei.
"You idiot" Gokudera said, "can you stop acting like a fool for once?"
"Who're you calling a fool, octopus head!?" Ryohei said.
"Shut up you two!" Tezuka suddenly said angry. Gokudera and Ryohei both frowned when they heard Tezuka's voice. "They've trespassed on our domain, we should take care of them."
"Take care of us?" Xanxus said, and then barked out into laughter. "With what? You puny little kid, you're nothing."
And then Tezuka's eyes turned red and a red aura appeared around him. "Say that again bastard."
Xaxnus widened his eyes slightly, and a hot anger entered his eyes, and then he removed the guns from the holsters around his waist. "You wanna fight? Kid you're no match for me, do you even know who I am?"
"Ugly?" Tezuka said smirking, and before Xanxus could speak, Tezuka spoke again, "I'm going to be Vongola the Tenth, it's me who should be asking you if you know who you're facing."
"Cheeky boy," Belphegor said. "Boss, want me to take care of him?" He brandished his knives and made them fly in front of him, dancing like how swans would do in a lake.
"Stop!" A pair of voices said. Two females appeared from the bushes to the right of Varia. They had pink hair and wore eye masks.
"And who are you?" Reborn asked, having grown tired of the situation. Tezuka was getting annoyed too fast, and Reborn was having a headache over the situation at hand. He hadn't heard from Nono in a while, and Varia being here made him wonder what the hell was going on.
"We're Cervello, an organization that works directly for Vongola the Ninth, we've been sent here to determine who shall become the next Vongola the Tenth." One of the Cervello's said. They looked like clones of each other.
"Where's your proof?" Reborn said deadly. Then one of them removed a letter from her sleeve and opened it. "That's Nono's flame," Reborn said, looking at the top of the letter.
"To determine who will become the next Vongola the Tenth, we shall have the guardians of CEDEF's choice candidate and Nono's candidate," she looked to Xanxus, "fight each other in battle. The winner of each battle shall win their respective ring. In the end, the team with the most rings will receive all rings and their boss shall be chosen to become Vongola the Tenth."
Lal Mirch frowned and looked towards Reborn. "Let's just go along with this, we from CEDEF will find out what happened to Nono and why he changed his choice from Tezuka to Xanxus all of a sudden." Reborn nodded, but he it was hard for him to not demand of Xanxus what was going on with Nono. Nono was very close to Reborn, and if they did something to him, he would become very upset and angry.
"Senpai, look, they're all together," someone said comically. All present turned to the newcomer's voice.
Fran and Tsuna walked up to the scene, having removed their previous attire for a pair of matching black suits. The only difference in their attire being that Fran's tie was turquoise and Tsuna's a dark orange.
"And who are you two?" Belphegor asked, grinning all the while. "Came to die? This is no place for non-mafiose."
Tsuna examined the scene. All eyes were on them. Tezuka looked angry, but said nothing. Gokudera had his dynamites out, ready to attack, and Takeshi looked happy to see Tsuna, which unnerved Tsuna. He remembered what had happened during the battle with Rokudo Mukuro, and how he had found Takeshi bruised up and beaten up, and the feeling that somehow Takeshi was close to him. He swallowed the feeling away. Ryohei had a confused face. Reborn however looked at Tsuna with eyes that looked like they wanted something from him, which Tsuna found even stranger than Takeshi's smile. There was another person present, another arcobelano like Reborn, and Tsuna immediately made the connection. She was CEDEF's boss.
And of course, there was Varia. He knew them all well. It was as he had feared. All of the top of Varia had arrived. Belphegor, Lussuria, Leviathan, Squalo, Mammon and last but not least, Xanxus, who was the most dangerous of them all.
Tsuna looked at the other pair of twins. They had proclaimed themselves to be Cervello, an organization working for Vongola the Ninth, but Tsuna had never heard of them, nor did he recall their names in Gesso's database. His intuition told him that they were not who they said they were, but since they were basically playing a part in sabotaging Vongola, Tsuna had no qualms with them.
"Cervello," Tsuna suddenly said with the voice of the underboss of the Gesso Famiglia, full of confidence and cunning, and ignoring Belphegor's statement, "we're here to be part of the battles for the rings."
"On what claim?" One of the twins said, looking towards the other twin in what seemed confusion, as if they hadn't expected Tsuna and Fran.
"Get lost Tsuna, what the hell are you acting all cool for anyway? You're a pathetic loser," Tezuka said with malice, his red eyes deepening with crimson.
Reborn was still looking at Tsuna, still hoping for something. Tsuna had no idea what that something was, nor did he care.
Tsuna ignored his annoying brother. "My name is Abel Tsunayoshi, but once I was called Sawada Tsunayoshi, I make a claim on the fact that Primo's and all the other Vongola bosses's blood runs through my veins," he spat out, feeling disgusted saying that.
One of the Cervello twins looked at Tsuna and then nodded, as if she had confirmed what he said just by looking at him. "We accept your claim."
"You what!?" Both Xanxus and Tezuka asked shocked.
Gokudera looked lost for words, and CEDEF's boss was in deep thought. Reborn smirked.
"He is who he says he is, and that makes his claim valid, I beg your pardon Xanxus-sama," one of the twins said, revealing their true loyalties.
"And you with the clown grin on his face, we're from the Gesso Famiglia, and Tsuna-senpai is the underboss, he's more mafiose than any of you'll ever be," Fran said bored, but his mist flames swam underneath his skin, ready to attack should anyone try to attack them.
"Gesso?" Xanxus laughed, "that pathetic family?" He then spat on the ground, "whatever, I don't care who you are or if you're related to this other one," he pointed to Tezuka, "you can't hope to beat Varia, and you don't have enough members anyways, where are your other guardians?"
Tezuka laughed, "Tsuna-baka, always the fool, thinking you can join the fun. What's wrong? Do you want to become boss of Vongola? In your dreams Tsuna-baka."
"Boss of Vongola?" Tsuna said, finding Tezuka's words very funny. He suddenly willed his dying will flames out and entered hyper dying will mode. Everyone in the scene had their eyes on Tsuna, some gasped and some wide eyed. "You misunderstand foolish little brother," his flames roared around him.
"The kid has primo's weapons," Lal Mirch said to Reborn. While Tsuna didn't have the gloves made by Leo, the pet lizard of Reborn, flame gloves were on Tsuna's hands and on his right middle finger a ring made out of purified sky flames rested. She then looked at Tezuka, who had raging crimson flames erupting all around him. The contrast was like day and night.
Reborn nodded, "and yet he's the underboss of a rival famiglia."
"I'm here to get those rings and bring them to Gesso's boss, my boss, Baron, and after we have those rings, we'll destroy Vongola and all its associates," and then he threw his head back and laughed out. Tsuna seemed mad, and maybe all the years of killing and destroying other famiglias in secret missions had taken its toll on him, or perhaps being separated from his parents at a young age did the job. Whatever the reason, Tsuna had enough.
Fran looked at his senpai and smiled. "We have other guardians, don't worry Scar-chan," Fran said. "Just wait until the battles."
The twin Cervello's announced that the three parties would be invited to the first battle very soon. The three parties then parted, each going their own way.
AN:
A lot happened in this chapter!
Lately I was thinking about pairings for this story. I think I'm going to go for Tsuna X Hana eventually, or maybe Tsuna X Kyoko, but I'm not really sure and might just do a time-skip at the end of this story to show who ended up with who. Or perhaps I'll leave Tsuna single, I don't know yet.
I hope you enjoyed this chapter. I'm not sure how long this arc is going to be, but it's going to hopefully span several chapters. I'm not sure when I'm going to update this story next time, but I'm going to try to put chapter 17 online this month or the next. I can't make any promises though.
Until the next chapter!
