Chapter 23-all grown up
5 years later
"the twins have grown up so fast" Rukia thought watching the twins chase each other around the garden, Ichigo had to finish some business so while he was gone she was looking after them, Rukia was pulled out of her thoughts by the twins pulling on her sleeves
"come play with us" they said pulling on her
"ok" she said getting up and chasing them all over the garden, she chased them for about half an hour before she felt the spiritual pressure of a hollow, "Impossible" she thought "a hollow in the walls of the Seireitei"
She found the twins just as a hollow that resembled a lion mixed with a human appeared, Rukia put herself between the twins and the hollow, "get out of the way I'm here for the brats" it said
"what do you want with my children?" she asked
"I don't have to answer to you I'm a vasto lorde I can do what I like" it said, "now move"
"no way" she reached for her sword then she remembered she had left it in her room, "dam it I forgot my zanpakuto, never mind I still need to protect Masaki and Kenshin" she thought raising her hand, "hado 31 shakkaho" the hollow dodged the red sphere
"you bitch think you can do that and get away with it" the hollow charged raising its claws, Rukia readied herself for the attack but just as it was about to strike someone appeared in front of her blocking the strike with their over-sized zanpakuto
"I don't like you picking on my family" Ichigo said resting his zanpakuto on his shoulder
"well my master wants those two brats dead so don't blame me" it said
"so who should I blame" Ichigo charged slicing the thing in half, killing it
"WOW DAD THAT WAS SO AWESOME" Kenshin ran to his father, "one day I will be a soul reaper just like you"
"of course you will" Ichigo lifted his son up

Ichigo was lounging around on his porch with Hikaru while Kenshin beat a tree with a stick, "so you found someone to train him yet?" Hikaru asked
"I can do it myself" Ichigo said
"no offence but you would be the worst teacher" Hikaru told him
"and you could do better?" Ichigo asked
"with my training that boy could beat you with in a week" Hikaru said
"you sure" Ichigo started to get in Hikaru's face
"I can and I'll even bet 200 thousand yen on it" Hikaru started to get in Ichigo's face
"fine you can train him and if in a week he can beat me then you win" Ichigo said
"good but no releasing your zanpakuto" Hikaru got up and dragged the boy away
A week later and Ichigo beat him in to the dust, I'll spare you the boring details, "here's your money" Hikaru reluctantly handed over his money, "but I will continue to train him and one day he will beat you, in fact I'll even train your little girl and to train both will cost you the measly price of 50 thousand yen a year but since I'm nice and you're a friend I'll give you it for half price"
"well he did improve so fine" Ichigo said throwing him his money

Kenshin had matured greatly; spiked black hair, muscular body and a face the ladies love , he was currently sparing with his sister, who let's say has grown in all the right areas unlike her mother, "come on Kenshin you can't even beat a girl" Hikaru shouted watching from the side lines
"HEY" they both said with their swords locked
Kenshin pushed his sister off of him and marched up to Hikaru, "how come you never fight me?" he asked
"I couldn't fight you, I've always considered you the son I never had" Hikaru said wiping away an imaginary tear
"you can still have children" Kenshin said
"not till I win" Hikaru said
"why do you always say that, also I win" Masaki said with her sword on Kenshin's neck
"see you wouldn't last two seconds against me with my hands tied behind my back" Hikaru said
"you wanna see old man, I'll show you" Kenshin gripped his sword tighter
"you know what let's see" Hikaru stood up, turned his back to them and put his hands behind his back, "Masaki if you would be so kind"
Masaki tied his hands and he stood in the middle of the garden, Kenshin ran at him raising his sword and bring it down with all his power, it didn't even scratch him, "what the hell" Kenshin managed before Hikaru head-butted him in the face, knocking him out
"and that was three seconds, well done" Hikaru broke his bindings, "now run along kiddies your mother is teaching you kido soon"
Hikaru found Ichigo in his office and sat down opposite him, "so how are they doing?" Ichigo asked
"they will make great soul reapers one day, they could even become captains" he said
"you think they could be captains?" Ichigo asked
"well their parents are powerful soul reapers and even from the moment they were born you could feel the power coming off of them, if they discover their zanpakuto I think they could defeat me" Hikaru said
Ichigo stared at the captain in shock, "I never thought I would hear you say something like that"
"any way I'm still worried about that hollow attack 15 years ago" Hikaru said
"I killed it, it's over and done with" Ichigo told him
"but the thing said it had a master and I don't think who ever this master is, is done with your children" Hikaru said
"well why haven't they tried to kill them again?" Ichigo asked
"because their fashioning them in to weapons" Hikaru said after thinking for a few minutes
A year later
Kenshin sat in the garden with his sword in front of him trying to communicate with it, "I've heard you in my dreams, just talk to me tell me your name"
Kenshin stood on an ocean of liquid gold with a yellow sky above him, "do you think you are worthy to hear my name" the voice came from all around
"yes now please tell me" he pleaded
"my name is…." A loud clock rang stopping him from hearing
"I can't hear you" he said battling the sound of the clock bell
"listen carefully, my name is Eien kurokku" he heard the name loud and clear, his zanpakuto's name
While Kenshin was learning his zanpakuto's name, Masaki was in her room mediating with her sword as well, she stood in a black void with a shadowy cloaked figure, "do you wish to know my name?" it asked, its voice was two voices, one high and one low
"yes please tell me" she pleaded
"listen child my name is…" she was meet with only deafening silence
"I can't hear you" Masaki said
"clear your mind and listen, my name is Hone kurassha" Masaki heard the name of her zanpakuto
