Chapter 27-9,8
Las Noches
"wow I thought it would be bigger" Hikaru looked at the small corridor they were in
"well we're here to find my daughter not study architecture" Ichigo marched off in to the castle
"this is the old part, we need to get to the new part" Nel said running in to castle
"well follow you Nel" Pesche ran after with the others following
"they're such idiots" Hikaru commented before walking in himself
Hours later
"we've been walking for hour" Kenshin complained as they walked down the same corridor
"now I wish it wasn't so big" Hikaru mumbled
"would you lot quit it we need to find Masaki and get out of here" Ichigo said just before he ran in to Dondochakka, "HEY WHAT THE HELL, DON'T JUST STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CORRIDOR"
"hey there's a ladder here" Dondochakka said pointing out the obvious
"well let's take it" Ichigo climbed the ladder and found himself in the same place as the last time, with the road splitting off in to five, "which one to take?"
"that one" Hikaru pointed to one and walked down it
"hey how do you know?" Ichigo asked stopping him
"I guessed" Hikaru continued to walk down his chosen path, "now come on"
"fine" Ichigo ran after him with the rest of the group following
The path eventually let out in to the desert under the dome on las Noches, "well where now?" Hikaru asked
"WHAT THE HELL YOU GOT US LOST" Ichigo screamed at the fellow captain
"don't worry it's this way" Rukia said walking off in to the desert
"how do you know?" Ichigo asked following her
"unlike you I actually remember things" she said
The group had walked through the desert for a few minute and have come across nothing but the ruins of old battles but then they saw a figure in the distance, it was one of the hooded people that kidnapped Masaki.
"that is one of them" Ichigo ran to him with the rest of them following him
"HEY YOU WHERE IS MY DAUGHTER" Ichigo shouted pointing his blade at the guy
"I owe her my life so I will kill you here and take your son to her" the arrancar's voice switched from high to low
"surge, Nejibana" he started to spin a trident that appeared in his hand, water was rushing out of both ends as he spun it around
"impossible, you're dead" Rukia stepped back in shock
"well I'm back to get my revenge" the stranger ripped off his hood the reveal he was Aaroniero Arruruerie
"awaken and illuminate, sozo no ochita kamigami" Hikaru released his zanpakuto and launched himself straight at the noveno espada
Hikaru hacked and slashed as the espada ducked and backed away, out of nowhere a wave of water knocked Hikaru back and as he was getting his footing Aaroniero charged forward attempting to impale him, Hikaru jumped out of the way and sliced right through the espadas arm, "AGHHHHHHHH" Aaroniero screamed as he held his arm, "devour, Glotoneria"
He ripped off his glove to reveal a hideous tentacle as the bottom of his body began to grow and bubble, eventually Aaroniero had a giant mass of tentecles and slime beneath him, "now my Glotoneria will consume you and take your power"
"shame this fight was no fun" Hikaru said before swinging his blade in the monsters direction and slicing him in half with the power of the swing
"im-im-impossible" Aaroniero said as he fell in to two parts
The group continued to walk to where ever Rukia was guiding them, "I wonder" Hikaru thought looking at the released form of his zanpakuto
It wasn't long before they came across another hooded figure, "let me guess another revived espada" Hikaru said sarcastically
"aww how did you know" he pulled off the hood to reveal Szayel apporo Granz, "now I will have to deal with you, for our queen"
He pulled out his zanpakuto and pointed the tip towards his face, "sip, Fornicarás" he stuck the blade in his mouth and transformed in to a butterflyman thing
"Ichigo go find Masaki, I'll deal with this guy" Hikaru said forming a sword in his hand
"no we can help" Kenshin said
"no you need to find your sister, I'll be fine" Hikaru said
"fine but don't die" Ichigo ran off with the rest of the group
"it seems you're all alone, what a shame your friends couldn't die with you" Szayel said
"don't be so over confident I will kill you" Hikaru said
"HA I brought the captain Mayuri Kurosuchi to his knees, do you think you can beat me" the espada started laughing before he fired some purple liquid all over him
"what the hell is this?" Hikaru asked as copies of himself came out of the stains on his coat
He was surrounded by 10 maybe 15 of them all wearing…, "black coats?" Hikaru looked at the espada
"it is a better choice, but now is not the time to discuss fashion" the clones charged as Hikaru
Hikaru jumped in to the air and managed to take down a few of them with a Getsuga but the rest of them flew at him, he was blocking every strike he could barely keeping himself alive, "byakurai" he shot lightning through ones head and cut another in half, "only a few more" he thought
Hikaru managed to hack and slash his way out of the clones until there was none left, Hikaru jumped up as one of Szayel's wings tried to grab him, "not going to work" Hikaru shunpo'ed behind the espada and cut him in half
"done" Hikaru had tuned away from the espada when he fell to his knees and grabbed his throat
"you thought killing me would be easy" he heard Szayel as a pink mist flew out of his mouth, "now observe, Gabriel, I will now be reborn from your spiritual energy"
Szayel fell from the pink mist as Hikaru fell flat on the ground, Szayel looked at him, "you can never be…" Szayel never finished his comment he fell to his knees and grabbed his throat as a pink mist flew out of his mouth
"impossible" Szayel thought
"you thought I was, no you were mistaken" he heard Hikaru say, "now let me be reborn"
Hikaru fell from the pink mist as Szayel dropped to the floor, Hikaru kneeled down next to the dying espada, "I will be back" he said
"no you won't" Hikaru held up a small vile of liquid, "Mayuri told me about your powers and I made something for you" Hikaru dropped a drop in to the espadas open mouth
"this will make you relive the moment of you death over and over forever, so goodbye for now but you will be seeing me again" Hikaru got up and walked off as the octava espada slipped in to darkness.
