Chapter 28- Mantis
"how did the espada manage to revive themselves" Hikaru thought out loud walking with the others
"I don't know and neither does anyone else so quit asking" Ichigo said through his teeth
"maybe it was the new queen" Nel suggested
"maybe, I want to see he…" Hikaru stopped and jumped back as a crescent shaped weapon struck the ground he was previously standing on
"that was sloppy of you Nnoitra" a dark skinned man with spikes running along his head walked in to view along with the espada attached to the weapon
"I am espada number 7, Zommari Rureaux" he introduced him self
"I've got them both" Hikaru said
"I find it unwise to think you can take us both"
"you're right I can't take you both at the same time but I can kill you before the other guy knows it" Hikaru formed a sword
"Hikaru, you are not taking them on alone I'm here" Rukia pulled out her sword
"fine, I want the guy who almost killed me" Hikaru charged at Nnoitra
"what is your name young soul reaper?" Zommari focused on Rukia
"Rukia Kurosaki" she answered as she watched the others run off to find Masaki
"well Rukia it is time for you to see it was a grave mistake for you to stay here" the espada drew his sword he let go of it, letting it float off the ground, and clapped his hands together before turning his head sideways, "suppress", his sword began bending itself in to a spiral and when it was done he was covered in white paste, when the paste dripped off Zommari was now covered in eyes and his leg had turned in to some pink pumpkin.
"now experience my amour" one of the eyes on the side of his pumpkin widened and a flower tattoo appeared on Rukia's left hand
"what is this?" she asked looking at the tattoo
"my amour allows me to control all I see" Zommari explained, "see for your self"
Rukia's left hand grabbed the right trying to force her to put down the sword, she managed to break away and cut the tendon in the arm
"now I can't control that part but I have many eyes" he pointed his hand eye at her and fired off his amour, Rukia jumped out of the way before charging at him
"your finshed" she said about to cut him in half when he sonido'ed behind her
"it is over for you young soul reaper" he pointed his hand eye and fired his amour right at her face
"Danku"
While Rukia was fighting Zommari, Hikaru was busy fighting Nnoitra
"I want the guy who almost killed me" Hikaru charged at Nnoitra
The two locked blades before Nnoitra jumped back and threw his weapon forward, Hikaru stepped out of the way and grabbed the chain pulling on it and grabbing Nnoitra by the face, "let's go somewhere more private" Hikaru shupo'ed away from Rukia and Zommari and smashed Nnoitra in to the sand, the espada slipped out of Hikaru's grasp and got in to a defensive position
"I will kill you" Hikaru said standing up
"that is big talk from a puny soul reaper" Nnoitra pointed his crescent shaped weapon at Hikaru
"well let's see" Hikaru charged at Nnoitra slicing right down his chest
"no way" Nnoitra jumped back before charging himself, "that was a lucky hit, next time you won't be able to get near me"
Nnoitra brought his weapon down on Hikaru's head only for it to be blocked, he pulled it back and swung to the left then the right both of them were blocked. Nnoitra thrust his weapon forward but Hikaru jumped on to it and ran Nnoitra through the shoulder, Nnoitra had to jump back again
"it seems I cut you again" Hikaru said flicking the blood off his sword
"don't be so cocky you can cut me a hundred times and I'll still beat you" Nnoitra pointed the weapon at him and charged
"when will you learn" Hikaru sighed jumping on to the weapon then over Nnoitra
Nnoitra stopped and turned only for Hikaru to do the same thing, he tried again and again, "STOP PLAYING AND FIGHT ME" he screamed jumping up and bringing his blade down on Hikaru
Hikaru blocked the strike with ease pushing the espada off without looking at him
"LOOK AT ME WHEN YOU FIGHT ME" Nnoitra screamed sticking his tongue out and firing a cero which Hikaru dodged
"that almost hit me" Hikaru charged at the espada, he sliced right through Nnoitra's weapon, as he tried to block, and cut right through his chest, "I will kill you"
"no I'll kill you" Nnoitra gathered spirit energy, "PRAY, SANTA TERESA" a cloud of sand gathered and when I cleared Nnoitra's wounds had healed and he now had four arms with a scythe in each
"finally I can kill you" Hikaru said
"NOW YOU CAN KILL ME, I'LL RIP YOU APART AND TAKE YOUR SCARF AS MY PRIZE" Nnoitra screamed
Hikaru charged but was blocked by one of the scythes as Nnoitra swung another one at him from the left, Hikaru grabbed it with his gauntlet and kicked off of Nnoitra, "think you can kill me now?"
Nnoitra charged at Hikaru and started to swing his scythes about as Hikaru backed away and ducked under the blades. Hikaru ducked under another blade and with one swift move he sliced off of all four of Nnoitra's arms and had his sword at Nnoitra's throat, "I will not give up" Nnoitra grew his arms back and tried to grab the captain but Hikaru shunpo'ed out of reach, "you're scared of me"
"I don't think I will kill you" Hikaru said
"you've finally accepted your fate soul reaper, now DIE" Nnoitra ran then leaped up
Hikaru stood there, "has he given up" Nnoitra thought
Nnoitra got closer and closer but Hikaru didn't move, "and here you are" Hikaru thought
The blade met Hikaru and the sand around them exploded obscuring everything.
