Chapter 36-whites move
It was a hot summer day in Karakura town when Ichigo when to Visit Urahara in his shop, "so what brings an esteemed doctor to a poor old shop like this" Kisuke, wearing his normal hat, hid his smile behind a fan
"you asked me to come here" Ichigo said as he sat down with his "friend", "now why"
"just to tell you I've sensed some unfamiliar spiritual pressure around lately" he said it like it was nothing but his eyes said it was a concern
"you think it's Aizen" Ichigo stated
"I have some sources in the soul society and apparently his forces have already taken some of your pieces"
"are you saying some of the captains have been capture" Ichigo slammed his hand on the table as he stood up
"yes but the captains are starting to make moves as well" Kisuke still showed no emotion in his voice
"and if they're here then they must know we are here and are after us" Ichigo started towards the door but was stopped by Kisuke
"I need you to go here" Kisuke threw Ichigo a scrap of paper, "that needs to be your first stop"
"ok" Ichigo sprinted out of the door and shunpo'ed all the way home
Once Ichigo got back to the clinic he found it empty with all the furniture over turned and the whole house a mess, "RUKIA" he shouted in to it
He looked all over the house and found no one, just some blood stains, "MUM, DAD" he heard Masaki call from the front door
Ichigo ran to the door and tackled his daughter, "your safe but have you seen you mother or Kenshin?" he asked worried about the answer
"I'm here" Kenshin shunpo'ed next to the two, "but I know mum was doing housework today"
"pack your stuff, we're going back to the soul society" Ichigo said as he left his Gigai, along with Kenshin and Masaki, and locked them away
Meanwhile back in the soul society Hikaru had just revealed to Tarou he was a captain.
"what the hell" was all Tarou could think to say
"now follow me" Hikaru walked in to the cave with Tarou running after him
"why didn't you not tell me, why the hell were you a soul reaper?" Tarou asked receiving no answers
"take this" Hikaru threw a sword at Tarou which he caught
"why would I need th…." Tarou started but was interrupted when Hikaru drew his two swords and charged at his son, "WHAT THE FUCK" Tarou dodged every stab and slash Hikaru threw at him
"draw you sword or are you going to win a fight by being a coward" Hikaru mocked as he threw slashes at the boy
"what the hell are you doing?" Tarou asked before he felt a cave wall hit his back
"nowhere to go, now you have to fight" Hikaru thrust his sword right at Tarou's head , Tarou ducked and rolled away from the wall
Tarou scrambled up and tried to run to the cave entrance but Hikaru shunpo'ed in front of him and slashed, missing Tarou by inches, Tarou ran the other way but Hikaru blocked his path again, "fight or die" Hikaru kept slashing and Tarou kept dodging by mere inches.
Tarou fell against the cave wall after dodging another slash, he looked around and saw his father had cornered him, "now fight" Hikaru raised his sword and Tarou closed his eyes waiting for the end when he felt something happen, he opened his eyes and he was on the other side of the cave, "good you learned shunpo by instinct"
Hikaru shupo'ed over to Tarou, "now you only need to draw that sword" Hikaru raised his sword but instead of dodging Tarou drew his sword and blocked his father's strike before shunpo'ing to the cave entrance
"not fast enough" Hikaru shunpo'ed behind Tarou and slashed him across the back causing him to drop to the ground
'what the hell is he thinking' Tarou thought as he fought the pain and stood up
"so you want to fight" Hikaru teased as he charged towards Tarou
"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU" Tarou screamed as he deflected both of Hikaru's blades and stabbed him through the chest , 'what the hell have I done' he thought as he looked at his father
"stealth hoho 3rd shiho Utsusemi" Hikaru's body disappeared and left the captains coat behind
"what the.." that was all Tarou was able to say before Hikaru appeared behind him and slashed across his back again, Tarou dropped to the floor unconscious
Tarou opened his eyes and saw a blue sky above him, 'where am I' he thought
"finally up" Tarou jumped up as soon as he heard the voice and looked for where it came from, he found a guy that seemed to be made completely out of electricity wearing a yellow battle skirt
"who are you?" Tarou asked as he looked around more and saw he was standing on a cloud that went on forever in every direction, "and where is this?"
"my name is.." loud thunder crashed in the distance preventing Tarou from hearing
"I can't hear you"
"well then you don't need to know but know that I am an ally" the guy walked off
"wait come back" Tarou ran after him, "what's your name"
"you won't be able to hear it"
The guy disappeared as Tarou's vision was consumed by darkness and he fell to the floor, Tarou opened his eyes and saw he was back in the cave with his father using healing kido on him, "what are you doing?" he asked as he sat up
"I'm healing you, we have much more training ahead" Hikaru told him
"how come I never knew you were a soul reaper?" Tarou asked
"when me and my fellow captains were forced out of the Seireitei you lost your memory of all of it, since we didn't know why your memory was gone we couldn't fix it" Hikaru explained
"so I'm going to become a soul reaper?" Tarou asked looking at his father
"yes now get some rest I'll find something to eat" Hikaru stood up as Tarou laid back down and closed his eyes
