"What do you mean he fucking fell off your radar? No one falls off the radar! Even Bruce and Logan didn't fall off your radar! You know where everyone is at all times! You're the fucking eye in the sky that knows all! This is fucking unacceptable you bastard!" Kas yelled as she slammed her fists on the conference room table as we all sat around it listening to Director Fury.

"Kas, I don't know what to tell you. He's gone and we do not know where he is" Nick replied calmly like she couldn't kill him with her thoughts.

"That bastard threw me and Steve into fucking Tartuarus and you don't know where he is? I'm the last person you wan to tell that to, Fury. I will find him with or without your help and if it costs me my life in the process then so be it!" Kas growled as she stood swiftly.

"Kas-"

"Kiss my ass" she growled storming out and heading for the stairs.

"Loki-"

"Shit! She's gone!" Loki exclaimed.

"What do you mean she's gone?" I bellowed jumping to my feet.

"She teleported and I cannot sense her anymore. She's blocking me and if I know her she does not look like herself anymore so we will not be able to locate her on satellite" Loki replied looking at me and Steve.

"Ray where would she have gone?" Tony asked looking at me now.

"If it was before we joined the team I would say she went to the cabin, but now I do not know. So much has happened recently and she is not the same person she was. I do know that she was not lying when she said she will find Aeron, but when she does it will not be good. She will not take him into custody, she will kill him. This recent dump into Tartuarus has reawakened something I prayed to the Gods would not be awoken again" I spoke truthfully.

"If anyone deserves to die it is my brother. He has harmed too many people to be allowed to continue to breath," David spoke with a darkness I had never heard from him, "You have made a grave mistake in angering Kas, Fury. She is not one to be toyed with and can easily kill you with just her mind, but even worse she is still growing when it comes to her powers."

"Am I the only one that is curious about what has been reawakened in Kas?" Bruce asked with concern.

"Her werewolf and vampire!"Alex yelled in frustration because she was the one that had put it to sleep the first time.

California

She walked down the streets of LA like she had never left. Her now blonde hair hid the tears that streamed down her face as she thought about Steve and her children. She knew the only way she could keep everyone safe was if they couldn't find her, but she knew Aeron would contact her when he was ready. He always knew where she was no matter what she did. She wiped the tears from her cheeks as she sighed and composed herself. She didn't need anyone see her at her weakest. As she rounded another corner she knew she was being followed, but she couldn't risk using any of her powers in case Fury or the team where trying to track the use of powers. She ducked into an alley where she knew no one would see what she was about to do and remained still as the poor idiot followed her in.

"Hey honey how about giving me some of that body tonight?" an intoxicated male voice asked inches behind her.

"You made a mistake buddy in following me. No one will see how stupid you are or hear you scream" she growled in a husky voice as she turned around.

The words caught in his mouth as he was greeted with the glowing eyes of the werewolf and the blonde hair returned to a fiery red. Her fist flew towards his face and knocked him out upon impact. She was gone before the man hit the ground, but so was his cash. When he awoke a little while later he did not report the incident to anyone and ate the $200 in cash she had taken.

"I don't know what to do mom. I need you here, but you're gone now because I couldn't protect us. Everything that has happened is my fault. I'm so sorry" she whispered as she lay on what used to be her foster parents bed in the now unused California home before she drifted off to sleep.

"Sandra, you need to stop blaming yourself for all of the bad things that are happening. We all love you just the same and only want the best for you" Nick's voice spoke.

Kas looked up to see him standing in front of her in their old kitchen in what used to be their New York apartment. She shook her head as tears threatened to spill.

"Babe, I knew that Steve had an interest in you, but he wouldn't try and interfere with what he had. He is a good man and will make an amazing father to the triplets. Go home and be with him and the kids. The team will help you when Aeron resurfaces" Nick spoke caressing Kas' face one last time.

"Someone will get hurt if I go home, Nick. I must do this on my own. You must not tell Evie where I am because she will tell the team" she whispered looking up at him through her lashes.

"Fine I promise I will not tell anyone, but do not do something so stupid that you join me in the Underworld, Sandra" Nick replied looking down into Kas' eyes.

"I love you, Nick" Kas whispered before he left.

"I love you, Sandra" Nick replied kissing her forehead and disappearing.

She sat up in bed with a gasp and stared at the wall across from the bed. She felt so alone, but she knew she had to be for awhile as she laid back down and stared at the ceiling. Her phone kept buzzing on her night stand, but she knew they wouldn't be able to track where it went since the signal was being bounced all over the globe. She glanced at the text she had received from Steve, but didn't bother to reply. This was going to take a lot of dedication to stay hidden and away from her family, but she had to keep them safe.
