Chapter 41-Dreamland

Momo was currently in the middle of a captains meeting, she sat at the front as her captains briefed her on all the important issues, she raised her hand and stopped Izumi in the middle of her sentence and looked directly at Takumi, "the only thing I really want to know is, is it complete yet?" she asked the squad 12 captain
"it will be finished soon" the captains assured her
"and our enemies judgement?" she asked
"that will take much more time but we have all the time in the world" Takumi replied before stepping forward, "in the mean time I created something to help us locate the missing captains"
"how does it work" she asked as Takumi handed her a small GPS looking device
"using data squad 12 already had it zeros in on their spiritual pressure no matter how much they try to hide" he explained
"Naoki I want you to test it" she threw it at the half asleep captain who caught it and inspected the device
"fine but I'm going to take a nap first" Naoki started towards the door
"no you'll do it now" Momo commanded
"fine" Naoki walked out the door and looked at the closest signal he was getting, "12 north"
The sleepy captain of squad 8 set out to capture a captain.

"so Shunsui do you know where we need to go next?" Hikaru asked as all the captains sat down to discuss things
"the location I got was 64 north" the normally cheerful captain was in a depressed state due to his Lieutenant being captured
"that's where we found Rangiku" Toshiro said, "do you know what location Nanao got?"
"it was 12 north" he told everyone
"alright you lot look after everyone, me and Ichigo will go to 12th district north" Hikaru stood up but the other stayed sitting
"do you have a plan for after we get everyone together ?" Shunsui asked sounding angry
"it will take an army to retake the Seireitei and the captains don't have that kind of power" Toshiro commented
"I have a plan" Hikaru assured them before turning to Ichigo, "now come on"
"they're right I want to know what you have planned" Ichigo said refusing to move
"fine" Hikaru sat back down, "you're right we will need an army and we have one"
"what are you talking about?" Toshiro asked
"if none of you have noticed this new Gotei 13 is tyrannical and that means the common man hates them and we can use that to our advantage" Hikaru explained, "we will offer them freedom if they fight"
"that seems like a sound plan, we use the peoples hatred to build an army" Ichigo muttered before getting up, "come on we have work to do"
The two captains shunpoed to 12th district north and found themselves in a small village with few people and houses, "this district doesn't have many big settlements so this is the best place to start" Hikaru muttered to himself
"what's going on over there" Ichigo pointed to the small crowd that was forming not that far in front of them
"let's see" the two captains pushed through the small crowd and were shock to find at the centre a man sleeping in the middle of the road wearing a captains coat, "is it a captain?" they heard someone whisper
"no they don't come this far out" someone else whispered
"this means trouble" the whispers got louder and louder until the man's eyes shoot open
"WOULD YOU ALL SHUT UP I'M TRYING TO SLEEP" he screamed, shutting the crowd up
The captain started to stare at Hikaru and Ichigo with a confused look on his face, it took him a few second to recognise them, he jumped back and drew his sword, "so you're the signal I was following" he said through a yawn
"Ichigo go find them" Hikaru drew his swords along with Ichigo
"no I want to take him" Ichigo said
"I'll take you both on" the captain said before stabbing his sword in to the ground, "now cradle, Sutekina yume"
No one saw anything happen but everyone felt it, "what did you do?" Ichigo asked raising his guard
"I just released my zanpakuto" he told them, "by the way I'm Naoki Kyo the captain of squad 8"
"I don't care who you are" Ichigo fired a getsuga and it barrelled right through Naoki, "got him"
"no quite" Naoki appered behind the two captains, "in this place I cannot die" he cut across Ichigo's back, Ichigo shunpoed away with Hikaru
"awaken and illuminate, Sozo no ochita kamigami" Hikaru released his zanpakuto as Naoki charged at them
Naoki brought his sword down and Hikaru went to grab it but before he could touch it Naoki disappeared, "how?" Hikaru wondered
"I'm here" Naoki appeared behind Hikaru and slashed him across the back
Hikaru turned round to grab Naoki but the captains was gone, Naoki appeared behind Hikaru again and raised his sword, "Gatsuga Tensho" Ichigo fired his getsuga at Naoki in an attempt to damage him
"that won't work" Naoki said in the smoke
"what the hell" Ichigo said as the smoke cleared and he saw that Naoki was fine
"once I release my zanpakuto I win" Naoki disappeared then reappeared behind Ichigo, "we don't really need you alive" Naoki raised his sword and brought it down on Ichigo but before the blade could connect it was blocked by none other than the captain of squad 4, Retsu Unohana
"do not force me to fight you" she said as she pushed his sword away from Ichigo
"well you're out of luck" Naoki pointed his sword at Unohana which gave Hikaru the chance to shunpo next to Naoki and grab his blade, Naoki shunpoed out of range of the three captains
"your zanpakuto makes all your dreams come true" Hikaru told everyone, "but they are still only dreams" Hikaru created a sword and whispered something in to his hand
"I still have one more trick" hundreds of Naoki surrounded the three and he started to raise his spiritual pressure, "BAN…"
Hikaru swung his sword, the copies disappeared and the real Naoki fell to the ground with a stomach wound, "how?" he asked as he started to fall unconscious
"I used your zanpakuto, it makes dreams come true and my dream was to see the real you" Hikaru explained
"b..b..but how did you master it so quickly" Naoki croaked before falling unconscious
"it was my dream to master it" Hikaru whispered before walking away with the other two captains
"so how did you find us?" he asked Unohana
"I felt him release his zanpakuto so I came to investigate" she told them, "is Isane alright?"
"she was captured but I'm sure she's still alive" Hikaru reassured her
"so have you found anyone else?" she asked
"only Mayuri, Nemu, Toshiro, Rangiku and Shunsui" Hikaru counted everyone off
"then we should get back"
