Chapter 48-Invasion Judgment Resurrection
It had been several months since the captains had found the head captain and in that time they managed to recruit a few thousand people to fight for them and train them but now it was time to attack and all the captain were gathered to discuss it.
Hikaru paced in front of everyone as they all sat around a rough map of the Seireitei, "I have devised a plan of attack since the Seireitei has four entrances we will split our forces in four and attack all of them at once" Hikaru explained, "we have about 12,000 men so we will split them in to forces of about 3,000 that will be led by 2 or 3 captains along with 2 or 3 lieutenants"
"so where is everyone going?" Sajin asked nodding his head in agreement
"Yamamoto, Mayuri and Toshiro will attack the north gate along with Sasakibe, Nemu and Rangiku" the three captains nodded in acknowledgement, "Kenpachi, Unohana and Renji will attack the east gate with Kenshin and Yachiru"
"that seems like it'll be fun" Kenpachi muttered
"the west gate will be attacked by Shunsui, Sajin and Byakuya along with Sentarou and Izuru, and as you can all guess the south gate will have me and Ichigo along with Tarou and Masaki"
"so what happens once we get in there will still a large force of soul reapers on the other side of the gate" Toshiro pointed out
"we fight our way to where the prisoners are held which should be easy for us but if my predictions are correct that's where the other captains will be and that's where we will fight them" Hikaru finished explaining his plan, "we want the liuteneant to take the prisoners their zanpakuto and free them"
"this is good" the head captain slammed his cane in to the ground as he stood up, "we need to move quickly to catch our enemy off guard"
Seireitei
Momo had summoned her captains as the Seireitei was preparing for battle, they stood on either side of her in complete silence, "it seems that the traitors will be at our doors soon from what Takumi has told me they will probably head towards the prisoners but I want you all guarding the resurrection" Momo broke the silence
"but what if they let the prisoners out?" Jurou asked
"it doesn't matter one we start the resurrection we will be unstoppable and they will have lost, now you're all dismissed" Momo threw all her captain out so she could look over the defences once again
Seireitei south gate
Ichigo and Hikaru looked up at the massive gate that separated them from their goal, "on the other side there will be thousands of soul reapers ready to kill us" Hikaru said as he created Zangetsu
"I know let's get this over with" Ichigo drew Zangetsu
"GETSUGA TENSHO" both captains fired a getsuga at the gate
The explosion of the south gate was followed by three others at the other three gates, as soon as the gates were open soul reapers charged out and the two forces clashed. The two captains and their children cut through the Seireitei forces like butter and easily gain access but as soon as they got in Hikaru noticed it, a skyscraper sized white tower still under construction, and his face went pale as he froze in place.
"what is it?" Ichigo asked when he noticed what happened to Hikaru
"they wouldn't have, they couldn't have" Hikaru mumbled as he started to shake, "HAVE THEY GONE COMPLETELY INSANE!"
"what is going on we need to get the others we don't have time to stop" Ichigo said grabbing Hikaru's arm
"Masaki go round to every group and tell them to meet me at that tower and leave out Mayuri's group he will have noticed by himself" Hikaru sent her off to deliver the message
"what is happening?" Ichigo asked but Hikaru ignored him
"I can't believe they did this" he said before walking towards the tower
"TELL ME WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?" Ichigo grabbed Hikaru's shoulder and spun him round
"they have built the universe eater" Hikaru said
"what does that mean?" Ichigo asked
"it's called the judgement of god and it is capable of destroying the entire universe" Hikaru explained
"who the hell would create something like that?" Ichigo asked horrified
"I would" Hikaru said before he turned and spirited off towards the tower with Ichigo and Tarou close behind
Seireitei north gate
The head captain punched the north gate down as soon as he heard the south gate explode, the three captains easily cut through the forces pouring out of the Seireitei, "now that we're in we nee…." Toshiro was interrupted by Mayuri letting out one of his maniacal laughs
"they did it I can't believe they did it" he laughed looking at the tower in front of him
"what are you doing captain Kurotsuchi?" the head captain asked getting annoyed
"I'm sorry head captain but I'm afraid we need to head to that tower" Mayuri told them
"why would we go off plan like that?" Toshiro asked
"you must be real stupid to ask that, because Hikaru and all the captains will be heading there" he explained
"how would you know that?" Yamamoto asked
"because no one can ignore god when it is right there" Mayuri said before he headed off towards the tower with the others in tow
Base of the judgment of god
Hikaru appeared at the base of the judgement of god with Ichigo and Tarou close behind, "did you really create this dad" Tarou asked looking up at it
"it was long ago but yes" Hikaru said still looking up at it, "this was the only one they got" he mumbled
Everyone else appeared and walked towards Hikaru, "what is the meaning of this and what is this thing?" Yamamoto asked marching towards the captain
"the lieutenants should go and free the prisoners but Tarou, Kenshin and Masaki should stay here" Hikaru ordered ignoring the head captain
"TELL ME WHAT THIS THING IS" Yamamoto ordered as all the lieutenant shunpo'ed away
"it's the universe eater otherwise known as the judgment of god" Hikaru explained, "it can destroy the universe this is the reason they have been slaughtering whole towns you need billions of souls to power it"
"why did captain Kurotsuchi know about this but no one else?" the head captain asked
"when he found out about we locked it away with the rest of squad 12's secrets" Hikaru told them
"what do you mean the rest of squad 12's secrets?" Sajin asked looking at Mayuri
"squad 12 has created many things that no one should control" Mayuri admitted, "it was all in the interest of the soul society's safety"
"never mind that we need to destroy this " Hikaru said pointing at the tower
"well that looks like the power source" Toshiro pointed behind Hikaru
"it has an internal powe…." Hikaru looked behind him and froze, behind him was a 100 meter tower fully constructed and complete, "they couldn't have gotten the plans I deleted them, HOW THE HELL DID THEY CREATE THIS!"
"what is that?" Mayuri asked
"it's the resurrection of god" Takumi appeared with the other captains surrounding them
