Chapter 50-The Judgment
Ichigo opened his eyes and inspected the room he was in it was dark with the only source of light being a small high up window with bars on it, the room was empty and plain besides the window ,a small bed and a thick steel door with a slot big enough for Ichigo to only look out of. He ran over to the door and looked out all he was able to see was an identical door opposite him, "HELLO!" he called out to anyone, "HELLO!"
"so your still alive" the slot on the door opposite slid open and Ichigo could see Kenpachi Zaraki's eyes looking back at him
"Kenpachi you're alive do you know if anyone else is here?" Ichigo asked
"I'm here" he heard Shuhei in the cell next to him
"me too" Tarou shouted from down the corridor
Everyone confirmed their presence in the corridor, "so everyone is here" Ichigo said
"it seems like we are in a hopeless situation" the head captain spoke up, "but right now we need to hold on to our small hope of victory because that is the one thing they cannot take form us"
"well said old man but you speeches aren't gonna get us out of here" Shunsui said, "we're all trapped in here and have no one to save us"
"wait a minute I haven't heard dad say anything" as soon as Tarou said that everyone fell silent, "where is he?"
"I didn't see what happened to him either" Isane said
Ichigo started to shake as he remembered what happened to Hikaru , "well where is he?" Tarou asked breaking Ichigo from his flashback, "if he escaped the he coul…"
"HE'S DEAD" Ichigo shouted cutting the boy off, "he died"
"what do you mean?" Tarou asked not believing it
"he sacrificed himself to defeat Aizen but he failed" Ichigo told him
"so he's really dead?" Tarou asked
"he turned to dust in front of me"
"fine then I'll kill Aizen for him" he sounded downcast but deadly serious
"what are you talking about kid your father was 1000 times stronger than you and he couldn't dent him, how are you gonna kill him?" Shunsui asked
"I have the rest of my life in here to focus on coming up with a plan and Aizen has to rule the soul society so I think I have the advantage" Tarou told him reminding everyone of his father
"well you're definitely are your fathers son" Shunsui commented before laying down on his cell bed
"is he dead?" Ichigo thought as he lied down, "he is a master of deception and I wouldn't put it past him, but how would he do it?"
Ichigo closed his eyes and fell asleep thinking about how he could kill Aizen as soon as he is free.
2 years later
The door to Ichigo's cell opened and two soul reapers marched in, dragged him out of bed and threw him in to the corridor with everyone else, they were all marched out of the dungeon and to the base of the judgement of god, the entire place was filled with Aizen's soul reapers who shouted abuse as they walked by. Ichigo and the others were lead on to a stage where they were forced to kneel and chained to the ground with their hand behind their backs, the stage was occupied only by Aizen, his captains and a few guards, Aizen stepped forward and silenced the crowd of soul reapers.
"we have done it" he shouted to the crowd, "we have triumphed over the old gotei 13 and established our own and soon we will triumph over the soul king and establish our own rule over creation"
Ichigo watched as the crowd clapped and cheered in approval, "we have collected billons of souls and we now have enough power for our ultimate weapon and none of this could have been possible without the help of the queen of Hueco Mundo, Orihime" Ichigo froze as his former friend walked on to the stage and stood next to Aizen
"as thanks for the countless hollows you sacrificed I'll let you pick one of the former gotei 13 to keep once I have killed the soul king" Aizen mentioned in the direction of the captains and Orihime walked straight to Ichigo
"we can finally be together" she whispered before moving back to Aizen's side leaving Ichigo speechless
"if she gets a prize then I want one?" Izumi said from the side lines
"fine for the captain who helped resurrect me you can pick one of them"
"I want Hikaru's son" Izumi said staring at him
"and I want his wife" Kichiro spoke up, "I think it'll be fun to keep her around"
"I only want all their zanpakuto for my research" Takumi said
Most of the other captain refused Aizen's offer with a few wanting to kill particular captains.
"and now I will achieve ultimate victory and activate the judgment of god" as Aizen finished Takumi moved towards the judgment
"YOU'LL DIE AS WELL" Ichigo shouted gaining everyone's attention, "that thing destroys the universe so you will die if you activate it"
"that is true but do you know what the judgment of god really is?" Aizen asked and answered immediately, "it is an ark to save those who destroy this universe and allow them to make a new one, and we will destroy this universe and create a new one where I occupy the highest point"
"then why did you do all this?" Ichigo asked hanging his head, "why did you kill all those people?, why did you rip apart the soul society?, why do you want to kill the soul king so desperately?"
"because I want to be god" Aizen simply answered before he ordered Takumi to activate the judgment of god
The mad scientist turned the key and nothing happened, everyone looked for a sign it was on but nothing, Takumi panicked and started to look for a problem, "impossible, impossible" he muttered as he searched
"what happened?" Aizen asked
"there seems to be a system failure but that's impossible Hikaru made this unbreakable his notes said so" Takumi explained
When he heard this Mayuri burst out laughing which cause Takumi to march over and grab him by the collar, "what did you do and how?" he asked
"I didn't do anything I'm laughing at the fact you think Hikaru would tell you what weaknesses his creations had"
"what do you mean?"
"like everyone in squad 12 Hikaru has a cautious nature he would make everything he made seem unbreakable but they all had one key weakness that he told no one, a weakness only he knew" Mayuri kept on laughing as Takumi threw him down in frustration
"so Hikaru sabotaged the judgment of god two years ago" Aizen muttered
"impossible we've been building it and running every kind of systems check there is no way we didn't spot it and I ran the most comprehensive check as well as a test this morning and nothing was wrong" Takumi told Aizen, "so how is it broken"
"I broke it two hours ago when no one was looking" everyone froze when they heard his voice
"impossible" was all anyone could say

50 chapters that is a lot more than I thought I would do in the beginning but here we are 50 chapters in and I know what you're thinking that is not Hikaru I repeat NOT HIKARU! That's not him
