Chapter 51- lightning god
"I broke it two hours ago when no one was looking" everyone froze when they heard his voice
"impossible" was all anyone could say when they saw him walk out from behind the judgment of god
He was right there but no one could believe it, Hikaru stood in front of them wearing a cloak but besides that he looked exactly the same as before they had invaded the Seireitei, "how are you still alive?" Aizen asked not seeming fazed by Hikaru's reappearance
"well you know me" he simply answered
"and what did you do to the judgment of god?" Takumi asked
"I just ripped opened a panel and pulled this out" Hikaru pulled a metal component out of his cloak and threw it down
"well it's a good thing you're here, now you can fix the judgment and build the rest of god for us" Takumi said drawing his sword along with the other captains
"and why would I do that?" he asked
"because we have your friends and family as hostages" Aizen stated
"that is a good point but you forgot two critical bits of information"
"and what are they" Aizen asked
"what makes you think these people are my friends and that I would know how to fix this thing"
"what are you talking about you created it you have to be able to fix it" Takumi said frustrated with the drawn out conversation
"and what makes you think I created this?" Hikaru asked
"what are you talking about you are Hikaru aren't you" as soon as Takumi said that the old captains realised who he was
"no" he answered
"Hiraku" Kichiro mumbled
"what?" Takumi turned to his fellow captain
"he's Hikaru's twin brother but he's supposed to be dead" Kichiro explained
"it doesn't matter who he is he's alone so just kill him and fix the judgment of god" Aizen said turning his back on Hiraku
"but how did I break the judgment of god?" Hiraku asked stopping Aizen in his tracks when he realised the implications of what he was saying
"so where is Hikaru now?" Aizen asked turning back towards Hiraku
"he's been here the whole time and I don't need to distract you anymore" Hiraku smiled as Aizen and his captains figured out their plan
Ichigo felt the chains on his wrists fall and a hand on his back, he looked behind him and saw Hikaru freeing everyone, all the captains and lieutenants stood up ready to fight, "it doesn't matter you don't have your zanpakuto" Aizen said as his captains raised their swords
"sorry but I raided your trophy room and found these" Hikaru threw down an bag and out spilled everyone's zanpakuto
Everyone picked up their zanpakuto and stood ready, "lieutenants I'm sure you can deal with the horde of soul reapers behind us" Hikaru said getting a 'yes sir' from all the lieutenants, "Ichigo and Hiraku you're with me we'll deal with Aizen"
"no so fast" Kichiro appeared behind Hikaru and kicked the captain in the back barely fazing him
"this has nothing to do with you" Hikaru said as he grabbed Kichiro's leg and threw him across the stage, "now let's go Ichigo"
While his father was fighting Aizen Tarou had picked up his sword and was cutting down soul reapers left and right, he had just run a soul reaper through when Izumi appeared behind him and kicked Tarou in the back pushing him off the stage right in to a crowd of soul reaper, Tarou quickly got up as the soul reapers surrounded him and advanced.
"BACK OFF HE'S MINE" Izumi ordered as she jumped off the stage to face Tarou
"before we fight can I ask why you're so interested in me?" Tarou asked raising his sword
"if you don't know then I'll show you" Izumi charged forward as she hacked and slashed at Tarou forcing him to retreat just to try and stay alive, "and I though you would remember"
Tarou locked their blades and kicked her back before charging and slashing at her, "I don't know who you are but I'm not losing"
The comment seemed to make her angry as she disappeared and reappeared above Tarou dropping down on him, "move, Borei" she released her zanpakuto and it didn't seem to change
Tarou brought his sword up to block the strike but when the blades met Izumi's sword just passed right through Tarou's like it was air, Tarou was able to shunpo out of the way before he got hurt, "so your zanpakuto can phase through any solid object" Tarou figured out the trick instantly
"you got it so quickly but you were always so quick" Izumi commented
"who the hell are you?" Tarou asked
"tell you what if you beat me I'll tell you" Izumi said charging forward
"fine strike, Ten kaminari" Tarou raised his sword above his head and grey thunder clouds formed as he released his zanpakuto , the sword transformed in to a 5 foot long golden spear
"what can that do?" Izumi asked closing the gap between them
"this" Tarou raised the spear and struck the ground which caused lightning to strike the spot right in front of Izumi throwing her back
"so you can control lightning" Izumi said before jumping and dropping down on him
Tarou shunpo'ed out of the way and struck the ground again hitting Izumi with his lightning, as she was recovering Tarou charged his spear with lightning and threw it at Izumi hitting her in the shoulder and sending her flying through a building, "seems like I win" Tarou said as his spear formed out of lightning in his hand
"not yet" Izumi said rising out of the rubble, "BANKAI, Tengoku no borei" there was abright light and when it faded Izumi was wearing a flowing jet black cloak
Acting quickly Tarou charged his spear with lightning and threw it at Izumi but it just passed right through her, "attacking me directly won't work anymore, my bankai allows me to become an ghost and you may control it but you're not as fast as lightning" Izumi appeared in front of Tarou only giving him enough time to barely block her strike, Izumi grabbed his spear and kneed him in the stomach forcing him to double over she then grabbed his hair and threw him through a building
"I told you that you need to be as fast as the lightning you control and you are falling short" Izumi said walking towards the rubble pile Tarou was under, "besides someone who only know shikai can't beat someone who knows bankai"
"you're right but unfortunately for you I have bankai" Tarou rose out of the rubble and struck the ground with his spear, "BANKAI, Ten no shinsatsu shi kaminari" lightning struck Tarou blinding Izumi when it finally faded Tarou stood wearing only a black and yellow battle skirt that reached up and covered his left side and shoulder with a black ribbon on his waist, he now had two gold curved swords and seemed to be charged with lightning
"you have been training for only a few months how did you attain bankai?" Izumi asked
"my father's a captain I guess we're both that good"
"well it won…." Tarou moved faster that Izumi could process and kicked her clean through a building, as she was getting up Tarou appeared above her spinning as he fell giving only a few seconds to get out of the way, "how are you so fast now?" Izumi asked jumping back
"you said I need to become as fast as my lightning but my bankai allows me to become my lightning, I can only use it for a few minutes every 2 days but that is all I need" Tarou appeared behind Izumi and ran her through as he filled her with lightning forcing her to her knees, "this is over" Tarou held his blade to her throat
"do you still want to know who I am?" she asked
"don't worry I remember everything and I still don't know why" Tarou's bankai faded causing him to drop to his knees
Both of them dropped on to the ground too exhausted to fight.
