So I don't know when I updated this last but it was sometime in December I think and all I know is it's been a while so here you go!

Chapter 19
Ziva
February 16…
Ziva quite literally rolled out of her bed. She'd stayed up incredibly late last night with Draco. He'd given her birthday present, which was a box of Godiva chocolates, and flowers he spontaneously made through a spell. She'd brought the flowers back to her dorm and quietly set them on her nightstand.
"Morning birthday girl," Jade laughed, staring at her friend from her bed.
"Morning," Ziva yawned as she started to fall asleep back on the floor.
"So are you going to tell us who the flowers and chocolate are from?" Ellie inquired suspiciously.
"Hmm?" She couldn't quite wrap her head around the fact that unless she came up with a lie ASAP, Ellie and Jade would realize Ziva had had a secret boyfriend. That thought woke her up. "Oh those, those were on my nightstand this morning."
"So why are some of the chocolates eaten?" Jade prodded, raising an eyebrow because she knew she'd caught her friend in a lie.
"I slept-ate them?" Ziva answered with a guilty smile.
"Who is he?" Ellie laughed, plopping down onto the floor next to her friend.
"And how long have you been seeing him because you're always so freaking tired that there's no way you haven't been sneaking around to see him," Jade added.
"Why would you sneak around to see him though unless-"
"Oh my god, is he a Slytherin?"
Ziva cringed. "Yes."
"Is it Carl Finch?" Elliot asked.
"Is it David Cunning?" Jade jumped in.
"Alexander Hunter?"
"Arthur Morgan?"
"No!" Ziva interjected. "It's not any of them."
"But he is Slytherin?" Jade said.
"Yes…"
"Hair?"
"Blonde."
"Eyes?"
"Blue."
"That narrows it down to about three kids: Malfoy, Josh, and Nelson."
"I'd say Josh. He's actually rather nice for a Slytherin," Ellie commented.
"It's not Josh," Ziva said, closing her eyes and anxiously awaiting for the shouting that was about to ensue.
"Oh, so it's Nelson?! Well, at least it's not Malfoy," Jade remarked.
"It's not Nelson either…"
Dead silence.
Ziva opened one of her eyes to look at her friends. Jade's hair had turned a dark green; the color in Elliot's face had drained. They stared at Ziva as if she'd grown an extra head that was blue and had one eye.
"Well say something!" Ziva demanded exasperatedly.
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING?!" Jade roared. At that moment, Ziva was glad that no one else was in there dorm. Since it was a Sunday, mostly everyone was enjoying breakfast. The three girls always slept in on Sunday though because they liked to stay up late on Saturday nights.
"The guy is a bloody butthole!" Elliot growled.
"Not to me," Ziva mumbled, sitting up and resting against her bed.
"No, Z, he's a jerk to everyone," Jade corrected.
"He is not! He is really sweet to me! He's saved my life twice. Besides, we only started dating two months ago, but we've been hanging out for the past couple of years, the summer after the Yule Ball is when it really all started. I don't know… we just sort of hit it off really well. Have you realized that unless you two say something to him first, he ignores you completely?"
"He's afraid we'll jinx him, that's why," Ellie retorted.
"No, it's because he doesn't want to hurt you because that would hurt me. Draco has a heart that not many people know about. He can't let people know about it because he's a Slytherin. He has a reputation to uphold. Now don't get me wrong, I hate that he's a jerk to everyone. But he's stopped doing that so much, I mean except to Harry, Hermione, and Ron, but that'll never change."
"Ziva, are we even talking about the same person here?" Jade snapped. "He's a Slytherin, probably a Death Eater too."
"Guys please, I really like him. You can't tell anyone, okay? We've kept it a secret because both of us would be outcasted by our houses and we knew our friends wouldn't approve. Please, please, please keep this a secret. I'm trusting you guys in knowing this. You're the only ones who know in this school. Keep it that way, please," Ziva begged. Jade and Elliot huffed but both promised. Ziva gave them a hug. "Thank you thank you thank you!"
"There's no way you'd consider breaking up with him?" Ellie asked.
"Not a chance. Draco said the time he doesn't show up to one of our meetings is the day we're through, and he said that'd never happen. There's so much that's happened between us that I trust him when he says that's never going to happen," Ziva declared firmly. Jade and Ellie sighed.
Two weeks later…
Jade
"Hey you two," greeted Ziva cheerfully as she walked into the Gyffindor Common Room.
"Hey Z," Jade and Elliot replied simultaneously. "What's up?"
"I have a crap ton of homework. You?"
"We were just about to head to the Owlery to send letters to our parents," Jade explained.
"Oh! Can you do me a favor?"
"What is it?" Elliot questioned, standing up.
"Could you two send this to Draco? I completely forgot to go there after breakfast and since you two are going there now, you think you could send this to him?" Ziva gave them a hopeful smile. Jade groaned, hating her best friend's boyfriend, but she agreed, taking the envelope out of her friend's hand.
"We'll be back," Jade said, leaving the common room with Elliot at her heels. Once the door shut behind them and they were a good distance away from their house, Jade muttered, "I wish she could date a normal guy, like Cormac McLaggen or someone like that."
"I know. I mean she's happy with him and all but I feel like he's going to break her heart sooner or later," Elliot agreed.
"We need to get them to break up."
"But how?"
Jade pondered this for a moment before looking down at the note in her hand. A wonderful idea popped into her head. Grinning, she turned to Ellie and said, "Ellie, do you remember what Malfoy told Ziva? About what would happen if he never showed up to one of their meetings?"
"Yeah, that that meant they were over, but he said that'd never happen. Do you think we can somehow trick him into not going to one of their meetings?"
"Yes, but I don't know how…" Jade admitted. The two girls stared at the note in Jade's hand. Suddenly, the two girls looked up at each other.
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Elliot questioned with a smirk.
"Definitely," Jade replied. "Let's go!"
Uh oh, what are Jade and Elliot up to?! Hope you enjoyed! I know it was short but I promise you more is going to happen later :) Review please!
