You are Dad, AKA Mr. Egbert, AKA Skaia High School's new Spanish teacher. You park and let your son, John Egbert, get out first because he is thoroughly convinced you are bent on causing him utter humiliation, just like any other teenager would think of their father. You stroll along with your orderly briefcase and gentleman's pipe. You're not sure if wearing a pipe is practically legal, but you dismiss this notion because nothing in the place makes any fucking sense and why would it start now with something as practical as a tobacco ban inside the parameters of a public high school?
