I'm very sorry for the delay of this chapter, I'm also sorry about how short it is, but me and my friend just didn't know how to lengthen it, and plus I did not want to combine it with the chapter after this so here we go.

"We need tents, blankets,sleeping bags, food, and water, and it needs to last for a few weeks." Kaiba was shouting to his servant.

"Yes sir Mr. Kaiba sir!" the servant replied before scurrying off to see to Kaiba's demands.

Kaiba then proceeded toward's his room. Kaiba had insisted that Yugi and Atem stay in his room for the night. When he entered his room he saw Yugi, whose face was covered with sweat, asleep on his bed. Atem, who was sitting in a chair next to his light looked up upon hearing Kaiba entering the room.

"This day has been exhausting. His body can't take the stress much more," Atem looked back to Yugi solemnly, "I'm not sure if he can last long on this journey."

Kaiba felt bad for Atem, during the days traveling with them he had noticed that the ancient pharaoh watched over Yugi very protectively. In the times that Yugi was awake Atem would talk with him using the gentlest of voices, and did anything and everything Yugi asked for or that Atem had sensed that he needed. When Yugi slept, Atem would stay by his side and when he thought no one was looking he would gently caress the sick boys soft and silky face, while a look of longing crossed over the Pharaohs chiseled features. Kaiba had witnesses all of this and he wished to quell Atems fears and doubts and to tell him that if he was that worried that they could leave Yugi hear. But his logic told him that there was no way to leave him here and still get the arrow back in time.

Instead Kaiba said, "Don't worry, Yugi will be fine...I've put him through worse." Kaiba attempted to cheer the Pharaoh even though it made him feel guilty.

"But you have never endangered his life like this on purpose" Atem replied heavily, brushing off Kaiba's attempt's too cheer up.

But Kaiba was stubborn and tried to make it seem not so bad by blaming himself for things, "I might as well have. I started a lot of things that caused both of you harm...like with Battle City...I could have stopped it but I didn't...And with that whole thing with Anubis, I could have listened to you and choose not to duel."

Atem still didn't wavier and said heatedly, "But Yugi is half dead in spirit and body...something that was never accomplished in our past dealings with the dark."

To this Kaiba had nothing to say, nothing to counter Atem's words or grief. Instead he simply went to the guest room in, walking in utter defeat. As he went he told one of the servants to bring a rag and bucket of ice water to his room so they could keep a check on Yugi's fever.

He was nearly at the guest room when Bakura came out of his.

"I can't sleep, 'm going to take a walk, get some air, you know" Bakura said breaking the silence.

"Alright," Kaiba responded, "But don't go too far, since this lab is a secret it is very far down in the woods and there's a high possibility of getting lost." With that Kaiba entered the room where he would be sleeping. Leaving Bakura still standing by the door.

AmandatheFox- I'm so screwed. As I have said before this story is mostly pre-written so before I never thought of chapter length but now I'm trying to keep the chapters at a 1000 word count but due to the last chapter having to end there and then this one is not supposed to be mingled in with the next chapter my word count is severely damaged...So in order to make amends I promise that I will publish another chapter either tomorrow or the next day because the next chapter is quite a long chapter and will be one of the longest chapters i will have posted. Any way I apologize heavily for delaying this story seeing as it's been a year since I first posted it but you have to understand, I'm entering my Senior Year of High School, I got my learner permit, my dad was sent to jail, i have to read 20 books for book club, AND...I kinda started a second fan-fiction account and fortunately he stories I post on that one are smaller then this story so I update them pretty good in fact I have 3 complete stories on that one.

AmandatheFox- If any one really wants to know what my second pen name is and the contents of the story then pm me but I will not publicly declare it due to like I said before...the FAMILY AND FRIENDS WHO ARE CURRENTLY READING THIS FANFIC! any way I really am sorry for this story's delay I actually want to find a beta reader but I don't know how that works so if any one who is reading this is a beta reader and would like to pm me on how to get a beta reader i would appreciate it cause I know some will help with writers block, spelling, grammar, you know all the things I need help with...but any way please review
