Nothing really important to say, so Enjoy!

Elizabeth Midford

We finally arrived at the outskirts of London after the most uncomfortable ride of my life. We were at a dingy, dirt-covered, abandoned flat. It looked like a sneeze would knock it over.

"Um what exactly are we doing here?" I asked. What about this building interested Ciel?

"This is where I've been staying recently." He replied, then got out of the carriage. I gaped openly at him. He'd been staying at this place?

"Yes, it's very quaint, isn't it?" His voice sounded muffled through the carriage. I rolled my eyes, and got out after him.

"Do you live here or something?" I asked as I walked slowly up the cracked stone steps leading to the front door.

"No. I asked the owner if Sebastian and I could stay here for a bit." He smiled, "It's not really habitable though.."

I nodded. "The Ciel I knew would've never been caught dead in a place such as this."

His smile melted. "Just as you said, times change people Elizabeth." I bit my lip. I didn't think he would care that I said that. I guess that jab hurt more than I thought it would.

We reached the front door, and Ciel pulled it open. "After you." He said gesturing to the dank inside hallway.

I hoisted up my dress, and walked over the molding threshold. Looking around, I observed how dirty everything was. There were spiderwebs in the corner, and there was mold on every object.

Finally, he directed me into the living room. There was a grand fireplace that looked cold and lifeless. The walls were dripping in some sort of slimy green substance. The only clean items in the room were the two black colored velvet chairs, and the black intricate metal table in between.

Ciel lead me over to one of the chairs, then sat down opposite from me.

"Sebastian," He called to the empty room, "Could you fetch us some tea please?" Suddenly, the fireplace erupted into flames and a set of china appeared before us. Guess what color the china was? Black.

"Ciel, why is everything so dark?" I asked. Ciel picked up his teacup and took a small sip before answering.

"Because I enjoy the color. Other colors fool you of a pretend world, where everyone and everything is in perfect harmony. Black is a true color with no secrets. It does not lie, it tells you everything exactly as it is. Colors are a beautiful lie, while black is the ugly truth."

I blinked. "Well, that was deep. Since when are you so... emotional?" I asked jokingly, and picked up my tea.

"Since when are you so rude?" He retorted.

"Since you left." I said. He promptly shut his mouth at this. Satisfied at myself, I sipped the tea triumphantly only to spit it back out all over the floor.

"What the hell is this?!" I yelled. It was like liquid fire in my mouth, and tasted like a horse that had trampled in dog excrement, stepped on a dead rat's body, then the rat's body was doused in gasoline.

"You don't like it? I find it quite enjoyable." He said with a amused expression on his face. I glared at him. I thought I won, but I bet Ciel planned it to be like this. Rather than drinking my tea in triumphant silence, I ended up looking like a fool for spitting it all out.

"I hate you." I mumbled, my cheeks reddening.

"Duly noted." He replied.

I wasn't sure if it was a few minutes or a few hours that we spent sitting there, doing nothing. Finally I got up the courage to speak.

"What was that monster that pretended to be Will? You know what it is, right?" I asked. Ciel was staring purposely into the black flames-

Wait, black flames?

"It was...a creature of darkness." I tore my gaze away from the strange colored fire to look at Ciel. I regretted it the moment I did.

His face held an expression of the utmost calm, but his eyes...they were a bright pink hue. The reflection of the fire, made it look as if his eyes were aflame. Beneath that facade of calm, was seething rage and anger.

"What...Is something wrong?" I asked warily. I'd never seen him legitimately angry before now. I was worried, why was he angry?

"No. Not right now." He replied in a monotone voice.

"Okay..." Everything suddenly became very awkward. Or least, I think it did.

"So," I attempted to carry on the conversation. "Why are we here?"

"You were being chased by that thing, and I just happened to be passing by the area." He sipped his tea, and smiled blissfully.

"You just so happened to be passing by?" I repeated skeptically. He nodded.

"My estate is the only one for miles." I coldly said. Ciel grinned into his teacup.

"I was passing by, honestly." He replied innocently.

"I think you were following me." I boldly declared. He rolled his eyes.

"As if. I have much better ways to spend my time, you know."

"Really?" I said. "Such as?"

He paused to think. "Erm...well I-"

Ciel was interrupted by Sebastian's entrance into the room.

"My lord, we must go at once." He said with a small bow. I glared at the butler, hoping that he would feel my mental wrath.

Ciel nodded. "Of course. Elizabeth," He turned his attention back to me, "You have to come with me."

I blinked. "Excuse me? Who do you think you are, ordering me around like a common dog?! Phantomhive, I swear-!"

I was cut off by Ciel putting his hand over my mouth. I didn't see him stand up, he was just suddenly there.

"Elizabeth, if you don't stop talking, they'll find us." He said, the removed his hand.

" 'They'? Who's they?" I asked.

The only answer I received was the crackle of the dying embers from that mysterious black fire.

Elizabeth Midford

We were riding once more in that strange smoky carriage with the hell horses(as I nicknamed them). The ride was smooth, and I didn't feel a single bump from the uneven London roads.

"We are we going?" I asked for the umpteenth time.

"We're almost there." Ciel replied tiredly. Apparently my nagging was starting to annoy the Phantomhive man.

"We're almost where?" I questioned. Ciel groaned and slumped into the carriage seat. Running his right hand through his black locks he said, "Could you please stop asking already? It's not like I'm taking you to your grave or anything!"

Suddenly, the carriage stopped. I rushed over to the window which happened to be across Ciel's lap. I crawled over him.

"Hey!" He protested. I threw back the little curtain, and looked out at a familiar sight.

We were outside of a little shop. The doors were a fancy black with intricate designs engraved all over them. The outside was littered with coffins and gravestones alike. The sign had a human skull perched precariously on the top of the sign, which read "Undertaker".

I looked over my shoulder at Ciel. "Not taking me to my grave huh? This is pretty much the same thing!" I snapped.

I then noticed something about Ciel's face. He was blushing slightly. I raised my eyebrow.

"Could you -erm, perhaps move?" He asked, while turning away his face. I frowned. Why was he-?

"What?" I asked. He pointed his to my chest which I realized was pressed against his legs. My eyes widened, and I scuttled backwards, blushing madly.

"Well," A voice said, and the carriage door flew open to reveal Sebastian. "I hope I'm not interrupting anything?" He said in a voice that suggested otherwise.

"No! I- NO!" I yelped, unable to form a coherent sentence due to my complete embarrassment.

"What's wrong?" Another familiar voice asked. The Undertaker came into view grinning ear to ear. "Are you embarrassed at having a nice rack?" He asked, then chuckled.

I glared at him. The Undertaker of all people..."Excuse me?!" I snarled, then stood up and got out. I started to make my way to the cackling man, prepared to beat the living shit out of him.

"How dare you-?!" I began to yell, then was suddenly was silenced by Ciel's large hand. He wrapped his other arm around my waist to hold me back.

I tried to wrestle from his grasp. "Unhand me!" I shouted, and continued my feeble attempts to attack the Undertaker. However, the Undertaker had suddenly disappeared, and reappeared in the threshold of his shop.

"Well? Are you all coming in?" He asked, completely ignoring me might I add, and then walked into the shop. I growled a million different curse words under my breath.

"Yes. Let's go Elizabeth." Ciel released me, and him and Sebastian strode into the shop after the Undertaker, leaving me in the street.

I turned around, fully intending to walk away from those three and that weird store, and saw Ciel standing there with a condescending look on his face.

I stopped. Didn't that twat walk inside already?

"Where do you think you're going?" He asked suspiciously. I shuffled my feet and then realized...I am Elizabeth Midford, single woman of 26 who doesn't listen to anyone. Especially fiancees who disappear for 12 years, then show up like nothing happened.

"I'm leaving." I replied as haughtily as I could. Ciel scoffed. "No, you're not." He replied.

I blinked. Who does this little piece of-?!

"You have a demon chasing you. A powerful one at that, so it will be hard enough to protect you without you running off." He said, interrupting my train of thought.

"Wait," I began "I have a demon chasing me?! What the hell is going on? Why is a demon chasing me? I didn't know demons were real! And why-?"

Ciel was suddenly in front of me, one hand covering my mouth, the other rubbing the bridge of his nose.

"Look, I don't really understand much either. That's why we're here. If anyone had any information, it would be the Undertaker." He let go of my face, stepped around me, and began walking towards the shop.

"So if you want to have answers," He said without turning around, "I suggest you come in."

I glared at the back of his head. His suggestion sounded more like a order to me, and I didn't take orders from ANYONE.

However, what he told me made sense. I would be safer with people than on my own, and answers sounded really good about now.

I hoisted up my dress, and jogged over to the shop's entrance.
