Hello my llamas! Enjoying your day? Good. I apologize for confusing paragraphs and such because I'm not feeling the best right now. Anywho, enjoy!

Elizabeth Midford

We arrived outside of some large white building, which reminded me of the slightly of the large Buckingham Palace.

"Where are we?" I asked the moment we stepped out of the carriage.

I received no answer from either Sebastian or Ciel who ignored me, and continued towards the white building. Huffing angrily, I ran and caught up to them.

Finally, we reached the large double doors, and stood there.

"Shouldn't we knock?" I asked. Ciel looked at me with an bemused expression.

"Why would we?" He said.

"Because-" Suddenly, the doors opened to reveal a empty lobby. I closed my mouth, and followed the two inside.

We walked past the unmanned desk, and through another set of doors. These doors lead to a room filled with rows and rows of...books?

Sure enough, books lined the many shelves in the large hell. Towards the middle was a railing which I presumed allowed one to peer over to the other levels. On the ceiling, were large skylights that were open.

"Phantomhive!" I snapped, then grabbed his wrist pulling him to a stop.

"Yes?" He asked. I could hear the underlying tone of amusement in his words.

I grit my teeth. "Where are we at?!" I said annoyed. Ciel turned to face me saying cryptically, "You'll see."

He pulled away from my tight grip very easily, and continued on to Sebastian who was standing at the foot of one of the many tall ladders.

Ciel and me stood next to the butler, and Ciel spoke aiming his words up the ladder. "Grell. Get down here."

Silence.

"Why is he not answering?" Ciel asked Sebastian who grimaced.

"He wants to speak to me I presume. May I master?" Sebastian asked politely. Ciel nodded, and Sebastian cleared his throat.

"Grell-" He began.

Suddenly, a bundle of red was on the ground, exactly where Sebastian had been moments before.

"Grell, my master is in need of your assistance." Sebastian said, looking disdainfully at the bundle.

The red bundle sat up, and I saw that it was a man with long red hair, bright green eyes, a pair of glasses, and was wearing a lot of red.

"Oh Bassy! I knew you'd come back for me!" The man, who I assumed was Grell, stood up and wrapped his arms around Sebastian's neck.

Sebastian closed his eyes and sighed in annoyance.

"Had it been my choice, we would've not come here. However, Lady Elizabeth was the one who decided upon your help rather than the Undertaker-"

"Well of course she'd pick me rather than that boring old reaper!" Grell said excitedly. His gaze rested upon me, an next thing I knew, I was engulfed in a sea of red.

"Thank you so much Lizzy! You brought Bassy back to me!" He hugged me tighter in a bone-crushing hug. I almost couldn't breathe.

"Wait," Grell let go of me and his expression turned very dark, very quick. "You aren't trying to steal away my Bassy are you girlie?"

His eyes turned an even brighter green, and a down right murderous look crossed his features.

"Huh. That's a amusing joke. Why would anyone ever like Sebastian?" I said, then looked past Grell to Sebastian.

"No offense." I said apologetically. Sebastian looked insulted.

"In all honestly, that was very offense My Lady." He said.

"TAKE THAT BACK!" Grell yelled directly in my face. "Bassy, don't worry! I like you!" Grell said, appearing next to him. Sebastian immediately punched Grell into a wall next to the shelves.

"Bassy!" Grell cooed, his voice sounding pained.

"My sincerest apologies. I wasn't expecting you to sneak up on me." Sebastian said, no hint of sorrow in his voice.

I giggled in spite of myself.

"Can we please stop all this nonsense and get back to the subject?" Came Ciel's exasperated voice.

I turned back to him. "You're sounding more like the Ciel that I used to know."

"And you're sounding more like the Elizabeth I used to know." He replied sharply.

A tense silence fell between us, and luckily was interrupted by Grell.

"Well, well, well..." He said, noting the intensity of our hatred and anger towards each other. Standing up, he put his hands on his hips.

"If I'm going to be working with you two, then you need to behave! Or else I refuse your offer!" Grell sniffed disdainfully until Ciel said, "Sebastian will be your partner for whatever we do."

"Master, if I may-"

"Deal!" Grell interrupted grinning crazily.

A shadow darkened Sebastian's face, and he turned to Ciel. "Is that really necessary, master?"

"Sebastian, you are to be Grell's partner for whatever detective work or fighting. However, if my life is in danger you are to abandon everything and protect me."

"Is that an order?" He asked.

"Yes. That is an order, Sebastian." Ciel affirmed.

"Yay!" Grell cheered, and jumped on Sebastian's back. Sebastian, almost lazily, flipped Grell off him and slammed him into the marble floor.

"Will anyone tell me where we are?" I asked angrily, suddenly remembering that Sebastian and Ciel never answered my question from earlier.

"We're at the Grim Reaper Library." Grell's voice came muffled through the cracked floor. The red clothed man sat up, and shook the broken pieces of marble from his long vibrant hair.

"What is that exactly?" I asked annoyed.

"You do know what a reaper is right?" Grell asked staring at me. I bit my lip.

"You reap souls?" I said, only it came out more as a question. Grell rolled his eyes.

"Sorry that not everyone is a supernatural being!" I snapped.

"Reapers are neutral supernatural beings who review lists of individuals that are about to die and then collect the requested souls." Grell stated matter-of-factly.

"Erm, pardon?" I sheepishly asked. Grell sighed in annoyance, and stood up.

"The point is, reapers have weapons called death scythes that are used in the reaping of an individual's soul. So basically, we're someone you want on your side and not against."

"So, what's your death scythe? Is it like a sword or something?" I asked. Immediately, I regretted it due to the look of horror that passed over the red reaper's face.

"Are you KIDDING?! A boring old sword?!" Grell dissolved into laughter, and I looked to Ciel for help. He just shrugged as if saying, 'Go with it.'

"My death scythe is the best! You wanna know what it is?!" He asked excitedly.

"Not really, no."

"It's a CHAIN SAW!" Grell cackled, and pulled a chain saw from virtually nowhere. I jumped backwards from the redhead, and ended up backing into Sebastian.

"This is why I would've rather have not worked with him." Sebastian directed my gaze to, the now cutting everything in his path, Grell.

"Sorry." I whispered to Sebastian, who just got a tired look upon his flawless, normally non-tired, face.

"Grell, we didn't come here to have you messing around!" Ciel snapped, a miffed look upon his face.

Grell cackled even louder then replied, "Me? Messing around? I'm surprised that you haven't already! Since you have the entire female population of London wanting to-"

Ciel shoved his hand on Grell's face, effectively silencing him. A light red blush had arisen to his cheeks at Grell's jab.

Hm, maybe Ciel isn't as perfect as he'd like to think.

"So then," I began, and walked to Ciel. "Where to next Phantomhive?"

"Why are you asking him?!" Grell whined. "I'm the one who knows what to do!"

"What now then?" I asked. Grell opened his mouth then closed it.

"Erm-well you see-"

"Grell Sutcliff, why are two pieces of vermin in the library?" A voice reverberated around the room. I turned to the doorway to see who the voice belonged to.

It was a man who was dressed quite nicely. Suit, tie, black gloves, and dress shoes were not what I was exactly expecting someone to wear in a place such as this.

He walked past Ciel and I, and went straight to the rambunctious red-head. Grabbing Grell's throat he picked him up, then tossed him over the edge of the railing.

I gasped, then ran over to peer over the edge. Not seeing the bottom, I whirled around and grabbed the the front of his precious suit.

"What the hell is wrong with you?! You just killed him!" I snarled. I was about to continue, when the suit man looked at me. That was when I noticed his eyes...They were the exact same as Grell's.

"Hmf. And a human as well..." He said, sniffing disdainfully at me.

"Excuse me?!" I screeched, about ready to punch this son-of-a-bitch.

Suit man quite easily removed my hands from his shirt, and then suddenly and unexpectedly threw me by the wrist.

I didn't scream due to the fact that I was still pissed off at this arrogant man who thought that killing was something that wasn't frowned upon.

I felt someone catch me, and I looked up to see my savior.

Ciel...of course.

"Thanks." I said. He was holding me bridal style, and I quickly jumped out of his grasp. I refuse to be wooed like a giddy school girl, saved by the hero.

"Now as I was saying, what the hell is wrong with y-?" Ciel's hand clamped over my mouth.

"We were inquiring the help of Sutcliff." Ciel interrupted, casting a glare down me, obviously telling me to shut up.

"Really...I was under the impression that Mr. Sutcliff was incompetent of most everything, including demonic affairs. " Suit man said.

"He is, however, Lady Elizabeth would rather work with him than the other former reaper." Sebastian said with a small polite smile.

"Do not speak to me. The Phantomhive I can barely tolerate, however you, I have no patience for." Suit man pulled out a pruner from thin air, and adjusted the glasses upon his pale face.

"Can you tolerate me?" I asked, for Ciel had loosen his grip enough for me to rip his hand away from my face.

Suit man turned his green gaze to me for the second time.

"You are human, so more so than Mr. Phantomhive or Mr. Michaelis."

"Good." I said, ignoring the warning looks of Ciel and Sebastian. Making my way over to Suit Man, I extended a hand.

"Well, my name is Elizabeth Midford." Suit Man looked at my hand, as if searching for any blemishes or diseases. His inspection seemed to pass however, because surprisingly he took my hand and shook it firmly.

"William T. Spears." He said. I nodded.

"William, we came here to implore the help of one of your reapers. Please allow him to work with us, just until this is over?"

I could almost see Ciel's shocked expression at my strange politeness, and Sebastian's amusement.

William raised an eyebrow questioningly. "You know of reapers?"

"I know of a lot." I replied haughtily. "Now then, you said that Mr. Sutcliff was incompetent? Well, we can take him off of your hands. We'll make sure that he doesn't go haywire and try to hurt anyone or anything."

William looked skeptical, but then closed his eyes with a weary sigh.

"I'll allow him to go with you. However," He raised his pointer finger. "You are never to set foot in this library ever again. Any of you." He pointed to the two behind me.

"Of course. You have my word." I smiled, and oddly enough, William smiled back.

With those final words, William disappeared, and I saw a flash pass through the skylights in the ceiling.

"Why didn't you listen to me?!" I turned around, and was surprised to find Ciel standing right behind me. Literally, right behind me. (And I also noted Sebastian's absence.)

Because I'm a clumsy fool, and Ciel's chest was right in my face, I unluckily tripped backwards. I let out a small yelp and almost toppled over the railing.

Lucky for me that Ciel was right there (Look at me, the little hypocrite), because he was able to wrap his arm around my waist, and save me from plunging over the edge to my certain death.

We were in that pose for about ten seconds, Ciel's arm wrapped around my waist, my hands wrapped around his neck on instinct of trying not to fall, just staring at each other. Until Ciel suddenly pulled me up, and I was being held against him, his arm still wrapped around my waist, my arms still wrapped around his neck.

"Oops. Almost died...again." I whispered.

For some reason, Ciel started laughing which caused me to laugh. Still holding each other, we continued to laugh until we heard someone clearing their throat.

"Am I interrupting something?" Came Sebastian's voice.

Simultaneously, we turned to see Sebastian and Grell, who apparently hadn't died from the fall.

"Ooh! Do we have a love scandal here?!" Excitedly, Grell clapped his hands in delight.(Though I'm pretty sure it was because he was happy I wasn't trying to "steal" Sebastian away.)

Immediately, we both let go. My cheeks were slightly warm, however Ciel seemed to not mind being caught.

"No. It was nothing." He said dismissing Grell's claims. I rolled my eyes.

"It was something! You just happened to arrive as Ciel was trying to steal my purity!" I said in mock fear.

Ciel scoffed. "Your virginity is probably long gone by now. With all the men I bet you've slept around with, I bet the list could fill a book!" I flushed angrily.

"As if you have room to talk! Mr. Every-woman-in-London-wants-to-lie-with-me!" I snapped back.

"Well, I can't help it if I'm a handsome eligible bachelor! Unlike you, I could wed to anyone I please!"

"Please! No one would want that ugly face of yours!"

"No one would want that fat body of yours!"

"Ugly!"

"Fat!"

"Wanker!"

"Slag!"

"Chav!"

"Trollop!"

"Gormless, despicable, fat, ugly, annoying twat that- that-" I paused.

"That has no penis."

Utter and complete shock filled Ciel's face.

"Excuse me?" He asked, and took a step towards me, his eyes flashing pink for a second.

Sensing that the play fight had just turned sinister, Sebastian stepped between his master and I.

"Shouldn't we be going my lord?" He asked with a bow to Ciel.

Ciel cast a dark look at me, then finally muttered an quiet, 'Of course.'

We exited the library, everyone silent because of the recent spat between Ciel and me. Even Grell didn't speak a word.

Reaching that smoky carriage again, Sebastian climbed to the driver's seat (Unsure of what the seat is called...). Grell crawled up to next to him, a blissful look on his face.

Meanwhile Ciel and I sat in the carriage again, a dark evil aura emanating from both of us. However, the eviller aura I must say was Ciel's. He just oozed evil. He is a demon after all...

"Sorry." I said after a bit. Ciel obviously didn't expect an apology, because he turned to me stunned.

"What?"

"Don't make me say it again...It was hard enough the first time." I mumbled, staring at my lap.

"Your pride and ego are just that big, that it was hard to merely say, 'Sorry?' " Ciel asked.

I looked up at his jab, ready to pounce when I saw a friendly expression on his handsome features. I smiled.

"Yup."

Yea, I'm gonna end it now. Back just started hurting too...Ugh, first world problems. Geez. -.-

Until next time, see ya! :)
