Hello there! :) Since I'm excited as to where this is going, I'm anxious to continue! Enjoy! :)

Ciel Phantomhive

'If anyone deserves love, it would be you and my lady.'

Those were the words spoken by a demon who seen many different types of "love". From sweet innocent puppy love, to complete and utter "tough love".

He couldn't help but feel a tiny shred of hope at these words. Maybe Elizabeth and I could have a future of some sort...?

'No. She's human and I'm a demon...' Ciel glumly thought. And it was hard to forget the demon that was chasing her, so that also complicated things.

Human emotions were so complicated, honestly...

"My Lord, would you care for more tea?"

"Yes, that would be nice Sebastian. Thank you." He smiled at Sebastian who smiled politely back and disappeared into the kitchen. The rest of the Phantomhive servants were granted a night's rest from work, and were sitting at the long and elegant table with Ciel.

Before them, was the meal Sebastian had some how prepared in mere minutes. Ciel had invited the three to eat with him as a thank-you for taking care of his house all these years, but they refused and just sat there rather awkwardly, looking about the room.

Grell wanted to stay, but was kicked outside by Sebastian who refused to serve the red colored man.

"Since when do you smile M'lord?" Finny suddenly questioned from his left. Mey-Rin gasped, and Bard elbowed him in the side with a harshly whispered, "Shut your mouth dammit."

"It's fine." Ciel replied waving a hand. "I don't mind."

"My Lord?" Mey-Rin asked with wide eyes, staring at Ciel.

"Yes?"

"What...exactly happened?"

Immediately the already tense atmosphere grew thicker. Ciel knew exactly what Mey-Rin was asking, and he slowly lowered the spoonful of soup.

"I...I grew up in a sense."

"You certainly did..." Bard said studying Ciel's older and much more sharp features. "But what do you mean by 'in a sense'?" He questioned with narrowed eyes.

"It's a bit hard to explain honestly." Ciel replied quietly pushing the bowl of soup away.

"Start from the beginning."

Ciel sighed. How does one explain that they became a demon without invoking extreme fear, like with Elizabeth?

"He's a demon." A voice floated from the doors leading into the foyer.

Speak of the Devil.

"What?" The servants turned to Elizabeth, who replied with the same tone.

"He's a demon. An actual demon."

"Lizzy," Mey-Rin began with a soft smile. "You must still be tired-"

"No." Elizabeth interrupted, conviction evident in her voice. She then looked to Ciel.

"Show them."

Instantly, the servants turned back to Ciel, who blinked to reveal his pink eyes.

Mey-Rin gasped, Bard's eyes narrowed even further, while Finny fell out of his chair.

"What?! You're a demon?!" Finny exclaimed reappearing from the floor. "An actual demon?!"

Who knew pink eyes were enough to convince people of you being a demon?

"Show them your hands." Elizabeth had walked into the room, and was sitting next to Mey-Rin, who was on his direct right.

Ciel complied by pulling off the fancy black gloves to reveal the black finger nails underneath.

Mey-Rin paled, and Finny almost fell again.

Bard scoffed. "I don't believe it."

Ciel and Elizabeth both simultaneously spoke.

"You should. I'm not lying. You can trust me."

"You should. He's not lying. You can trust him."

Elizabeth's cheeks turned a soft pink color, while Ciel looked at her incredulously, with a raised eyebrow. She looked determinedly away from him.

"Prove it then."

Ciel disappeared the moment the words were out of his mouth. The lights flickered, and there was a large gust of wind that howled and screamed. That wind successfully extinguished all light as Ciel, in a state between his human and his demon form moved about the room.

The demon side of him brought him over to Elizabeth. He could see just how pure and beautiful her soul was like this. He wrapped his half smoky, half human arms around her waist in spite of his better judgement.

She, herself, was beautiful... He couldn't resist this opportunity.

Ciel caved into his desires, and as gently and softly as he could, lightly touched his lips to hers.

'What are you doing?!' A part of him screamed. He could hear how her heart sped up, and the sadistic demon side of him loved it. He wanted to kiss her until she had no air in her lungs and devour her beautiful soul, then perform coitus with her-

Then heard her gasp, and he immediately regained control and quickly pulled away, and returned to his chair in human form. The lights were restored when he became human once again.

"Now do you believe me?" He asked as calm as he could, avoiding Elizabeth's gaze.

She wasn't completely sure what had happened. It was dark, and the wind was howling, and she was scared, then she felt arms wrap around her waist.

She heard his breath, and felt the gentle touch of his lips. In that second, she could feel all of his emotions in that soft gentle kiss. She felt all his fear, anger, happiness, love, passion, lust,...evil.

Elizabeth was certain that Ciel had just kissed her in that moment. Who else would've? It was dark, and she couldn't see, but it must've been him.

Why did he do that?

"Yes." Bard breathed, his face waxy and pale in the bright light. "I- I need to be excused."

"Me too My Lord."

"I-I-I need to- the laundry!" Mey-Rin jumped up and sprinted from the room, the other two following.

Leaving Elizabeth and Ciel alone.

"Well, that was better than I expected?" Ciel spoke at an attempt to break the uncomfortable silence.

"Ciel..." Elizabeth muttered. "Did you...kiss me before?"

Honestly, where was Sebastian with that damned tea?!

"I- uh-" Ciel's cheek turned a minuscule pink. "I..." He swallowed the lump in his throat. What happened before? He could feel the demon in him take over for a moment...

"Yes. I did." He replied finally.

His cheeks were definitely red. Elizabeth looked down at her lap, her cheeks were also red.

"Why exactly...?" She whispered.

This was it. It was now or never-

"Your tea My Lord."

The two jumped at Sebastian's voice, and Ciel grabbed the tea and downed the entire cup in one large gulp.

"I am going to bed now." Ciel stood up. "Sebastian. Elizabe..th..." Ciel's voice faded in his throat at her name, and he left the dining room, cheeks now rivaling that of a bright cherry.

"Sebastian...I'm going to bed as well."

"Good night My Lady." He said, as Elizabeth hurried out of the room back to her room once again without eating.

She reached her room in no time, closed the door then fell onto the bed. What was that? Why did Ciel do that? Did he hold feelings for her still?

Her lips still, quite literally, burned from where he had kissed her. She looked in the mirror and could she her lips looked bright red, and not the regular soft pink color.

It was unusual...perhaps the color would fade?

She sighed and shook her head. Ciel was a mystery to her. He wouldn't spare her a glance, then suddenly kiss her? What game was he playing at?

She gazed at herself in the mirror, then narrowed her eyes at her reflection.

The reflection winked.

Elizabeth yelped, and moved away quickly and bumping into the little table next to her bed.

"Oh come on Elizabeth! Why would this of all things shock you?" Her reflection scoffed and crossed her arms. The thing that bothered Elizabeth was how she had pink eyes. Otherwise, she looked just like herself.

That is to say, the reflection looked like Elizabeth with pink demon eyes.

"How are you-?!"

"Oh darling, I'm you! I'm able to move because your sanity is slowly spiraling into the wonderful dark pit that I like to call, Crazy Town!"

"What on earth are you talking about?"

"Your little encounter with the Nogitsune caused something in your fragile human mind to just snap!" At this, the reflection snapped her fingers. "And so, here I am!"

"Who are you exactly?"

"I already told you!" The reflection rolled her eyes in exasperation. "I'm you, Elizabeth Midford. Well, technically I'm the darker version of you. I am the sadistic and gorgeous Elizabeth Midford who likes blood in the morning, and flesh at midnight. If you were a demon, this is who'd you be honey."

"I...But you, can't be me! I'd never be you!" Elizabeth replied in disgust

"Oh, but I am darling. I am you through and through!" The reflection chuckled darkly. "And what do you mean, 'I'll never be you'? Honey, I'm your reflection. I am you..."

Elizabeth shut her eyes, and breathed deeply. Upon opening her eyes, the reflection of her was gone, and she could see her regular reflection, mimicking her movements like normal, with regular green eyes...

Not trusting the treacherous mirror, she grabbed an extra sheet, and tossed it over the mirror. When she turned around, she could still see many reflective surfaces.

So she pulled old coats out of the closet, and covered every reflective surface, minus the window.

Suddenly, the door burst open to reveal a disheveled looking Mey-Rin.

"Lady Elizabeth! Ciel said to fetch you immediately! You need to leave quickly!" Mey-Rin cast a quick and confused glance at the disarray of the room.

"What happened here?"

"Nothing." Elizabeth replied hurriedly. "Why do I need to leave exactly?"

"My Lord Ciel wouldn't say! All he said was, 'It's here.' And I don't know what that means-My Lady!"

Elizabeth had grabbed a sword from the corner of the room where a beautiful quantity and selection of swords sat, just waiting to be taken, and then she'd pushed past Mey-Rin into the hall.

She was probably going to have to fight.

Interesting yes? :) The mirror thing just came to me, and it's going to be very vital to this! :)

Until next time my lovelies, stay beautiful, stay happy, stay safe!
