Haylo, sorry for the late update hehe! Busy with standardized tests, holidays, and other stuff. Anyways, because this is chapter is pretty long, I will add the bonus for next chapter. Enjoy!

Oh, and by the way, I guess the Pacer Test has many names, hehe.

And how did the girls win? Well, I thought that since there was a tie, because the girls had an 'injury' on their side, they got the advantage and got to win. I hope that makes sense, hehe that's what's ran through my head.

The next day, boys walked past Marysa with narrowed eyes and sour faces. Marysa could care less, because it is guys we're talking about, but she couldn't help wonder what the heck was bothering everyone. Finally at her wit's end with curiosity, she decided to ask someone who might know. And there was only one person to ask.

There was only one issue. Girls constantly swarmed him, and Marysa didn't dare (and couldn't even try) to approach him. She also didn't want to look like one of the crazy fangirls going after him, because that would embarrass her. There was only one solution.

Even if it was risky, Marysa wanted to know why all the boys were glaring at her... What did she do? Sure, it probably was well known how much of a male-hater she is, but why would they start glaring at her? Obviously they didn't know (or weren't warned) about her temper and demon aura. Only those who did avoided her and don't dare to even look at her. Except him.

"He doesn't care that I so badly want to kill him everyday! That annoying smirk is so aggravating. He thinks he is good at everything - well he kinda is, but that's besides the point! He just pisses me off so freaking much!" Marysa was all alone in the dorm because she got to take the day off due to her fainting from yesterday and the splitting headache she had when she woke up. Not that it helped the situation in why the boys were all glaring at her... Wait... Were they jealous because she got to stay in her dorm? That couldn't be it because she still had lots of homework to make up. You think missing a week is bad? Marysa's missed homework about is twice the amount of work you'd miss in a month!

Marysa slammed down her pencil in anger. Why the heck was she ranting about him? Why was he entering her mind right now? Was it because of those stupid perverted alien idiotic powers he had? What the heck!?

"Oh,I'm so gonna get him back for this!" Marysa vowed under her breath. (It's well known to our lovely readers that Marysa can get highly worked up over things like this... Things dealing with him certainly affect her... maybe a little too much!)

Glaring at the poor paper on her desk, Marysa wanted to chuck that out the window, as a substitute, since it would be impossible to chuck someone else out a window. Fangirls would kill her and she'd never live to become a great spy. Curse that bastard!

"Oh, what the hell am I doing thinking about such an idiot?!" Marysa once again slammed her poor pencil down. "Why is he entering my mind? Ugh! Maybe I'm agitated - that's it! I should meditate." Marysa leaned back in her chair, breathed in, and let her mind drift.

First she thought back to the Coffee Lover's staff, and how they were doing, even grumpy Hannah. She wondered if any more girls came barging into the café looking for someone. That certainly was funny when that redhead - what was her name? - calmed everyone down.

"What an idiot he is, attracting all these girls and making them senseless with those fake pheromones that don't affect me." Marysa opened her eyes and rolled them. "He has such issues - wait, ugh! I'm thinking of that alien again!"

Finding this method of meditation useless, Marysa resorted to a violent act of banging her head on her book. That didn't help except worsen her headache. What a life.

"Oh!" The raven-haired girl suddenly remembered that she wanted to know why she was getting annoying glares from the boys. However, she needed to do some research.

"Might as well head to the library." Marysa murmured, knowing this was lunch break and nobody would be bothering her. Hopefully!

She traipsed down to the library, which was a huge library, not the middle dinky kind you'd find in a cheap spy school, but the mega library that's basically a building inside a building.

"Hello, what are you doing down here, Marysa?" The librarian asked, peering curiously over her wire-rimmed glasses. "Aren't you supposed to be in your dorm doing work?" The librarian never missed any news, and was basically the gossip of MCIA.

"Oh, I'm just doing some research for history." Marys said, coming up with a perfect excuse, just like a perfectly trained spy would do.

The librarian just nodded, slightly disappointed that she couldn't get a good scoop about a girl skipping class.

Meanwhile, Marysa walked towards the computer that was farthest away, and sat down. Paula, her friend, was a skilled hacker and had taught Marysa the basics. Now Marysa could hack into the MCIA's records to find out where -

"ATTENTION, ALL MCIA STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO EVACUATE THE BUILDING AT ONCE FOR A BRIEF DRILL TESTING."

The loudspeaker crackled to life, and Marysa growled under her breath. Of all times to be having a drill, it HAD to be when she was about to do something important!

The drill consisted of everyone lining up outside and inspecting everyone's emergency skills. However, it took all day to do because there were triple the number of students with the boys. Marysa waited impatiently, either hoping to see the blonde headed pervert or to be able to continue what she was doing.

"Marysa, you seem awfully agitated." Paula noted.

"Well this is taking WAAAY too long!"

"You never have patience." Sofie giggled.

"Not when everyone is taking forever!" Marysa scowled.

Sofie and Paula giggled at their friend's usual antics.

"Hey!" Marysa exclaimed. "Where's Amber?"

"Over there." Paula motioned towards the group of other girls all clumped together.

"Why?" Marysa asked. "Why is she not with us?"

"I have no idea." Sofie frowned.

"AMBER!" The three girls yelled. The blonde whipped her head around, and trotted over.

"What?" Amber asked, flapping her arms in a weird, mental way.

"Um…" Sofie frowned.

"Geez, you're so hopeless." Paula rolled her eyes.

"Ugh, let's go already!" Marysa frowned. "Why are you hanging around those other girls anyways?" Marysa asked Amber.

"Oh, no reason." Amber smiled, waving her hand carelessly. "I just like knowing what others are up to."

"Okay…" Marysa shrugged.

Finally the drill finished. Marysa stormed angrily to her dorm, throwing down her overcoat. Her friends trailed tiredly after her.

"Marysa… What's eating you?" Paula asked, sitting down on her own bed and brushing her frizzy hair.

"Nothing." Marysa snapped, glaring at the ceiling. "I'm just tired of this… headache."

"Do you need some medicine?" Sofie asked, pulling out her Advil medicine from the many suitcases she brought with her.

"You know what?" Amber said, jumping on the bed. "Sofie, you have so many bags, why not just leave them here?"

"HERE!?" Sofie yelled. "LEAVE MY BEAUTIFUL BAGS AND CLOTHES AND JEWELRY AND COSMETICS AND -"

"-and that's it." Paula interrupted Sofie's wild rant. "We all know now that you do not want to leave your…. stuff… here."

"Quite right, Paula! You're so smart!"

After a long series of getting ready for bed, Marysa gazed at the ceiling once again, though the darkness made it look different. She sighed to herself, quietly turning over onto her side. Why she was so paranoid, she couldn't figure it out. What was up with her? Was she just extra paranoid today?

However, deep down, Marysa knew the answer - but she didn't want to accept it.

In the morning, Marysa resumed her daily classes. She could still feel the glares of the idiotic boys. Were they really still upset with her after two days? Wow.

"Haha, did you see the boys?" Amber asked with a laugh, slapping her hand against Marysa's back.

"Whaddya mean?" Marysa asked, irritated.

"They still look so… funny!" Amber giggled with a girlish face, and then skipped off to her desk.

Marysa frowned, gazing around the classroom, trying to look like she had no care in the world. But she was looking for someone.

"Hey, where is he?"

"He's not here!"

"AGAIN!"

"Oh no, maybe he-"

"Who are you talking about?" Marysa asked, interrupting the girls sitting behind her. The girl smiled nervously.

"Um, we were talking about… you know… him!" The girl whisper-squealed.

"I know…. and who is him?" Marysa pestered.

"...Derek… Walker!" The girl smiled, her face lighting up like the sun.

Marysa pasted a smile on her face. "Ah… I… see." Marysa cringed inside. What an idiot, wrapping girls around his finger. He had them so… on to him! Marysa glanced once more around the room with uncaring indifference, however she noticed with a start that a certain blonde was not present. Hah.

The teacher continued to talk about the history of spies and Marysa turned her attention back to to the focus at hand - class time!

At the end of the morning classes, Marysa was called by Miss to come to the desk before lunch.

"Miss Marysa." Miss peered at the raven-haired girl. "I've heard that you have caught up with everything from yesterday already."

"Yes, ma'am." Marysa bowed her head.

"Good job as always. Anyway, I see Mr. Derek Walker has not attended today. Since he is new to MCIA, can you run some homework over to him and show him your tricks at getting everything done?"

"Ah, yes… ma'am." Marysa bowed her head again. Perhaps this was her chance to ask him some questions!

"Good, thank you."

"Yes, ma'am… Oh wait! Do you have his… um… room number?"

"Oh that's right. 524."

"Thanks, Miss." Marysa smiled. "I'll take it to him right away."

~O~

Knock, knock.

"Hello? Derek?" Marysa knocked on the door and called out politely, and waited for a moment. No response.

Knock, knock, knock.

"Derek Walker?"

Still no response.

"What is that idiot doing?" Marysa frowned.

KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK!

Marysa pounded as hard as she could on the door. "WAKE UP, IDIOTIC-SCHOOL-SKIPPING-ALIEN!"

Still no response.

"ARGH! WHAT IS HE DOING!?" Marysa's anger boiled up.

KNOCK! KNOCK! CRAAAAASH!

"Oops." Marysa cringed as the door flew open. "I guess… I had more strength than I bargained for…"

"Um… Derek?" Marysa stepped inside, feeling a little awkward. The room was darkened, the curtains drawn. "Gee, did someone die?" Marysa groaned, slamming the books down on the little table near the entrance. "Get some light in here!" Marysa marched over to the large windows, and whipped open the blinds.

"ARGH! I'M AWAKE, YOU DARN TORA! I'M AWAKE! CLOSE THE LIGHTS, CLOSE THE LIGHTS!" A very annoyed voice grumbled.

"Oh! Um! Ah! Wha! Or, UH!" Marysa stuttered.

"Huh? What? TORA WHEN DID YOU FREAKING BECOME A GIRL? QUIT PLAYING TRICKS ON ME, WHAT'S WRONG WITH MY HEAD?"

"Um…"

"GOSH DARN IT…. ugh." The war cry coming from the other side of the room instantly faded into a muffled groan.

Then it clicked. It was Derek.

"Derek, it's Marysa."

"Hahaha…. quit… playing… tricks on… me." Derek's voice got softer and weaker. "Are… you… kidding? Like… she'd come… visit me?"

"YOU BASTARD, DO YOU THINK THAT I AM JOKING? WAKE UP AND OPEN YOUR EYES!" Marysa stormed over to the bedside.

Derek peered at the angered girl, green eyes glazed. "What… are… doing… here?" Derek drawled.

"Idiot, I came to give you all the work you missed."

"Great… But… you do… know you are… in… a boy's… room." Derek rubbed his spiky hair out of his eyes. Then he grabbed Marysa by her arm, pulling her down towards him. "You… have to be… careful…"

The two stared into each others eyes; green meeting amber. Marysa's bones were frozen, but

"Careful…. CAREFUL? Says the pervert himself!" Marysa was surprisingly stronger than the weakened Derek. Shaking him off, she glared at him. With a glare, she whacked Derek's head. "IDIOT Y- oh wait! YOU'RE BURNING UP!"

"Haha, maybe… because of… you."

"SHUT UP! YOU HAVE A DANG FEVER!"

"Ah-"

"DARN, ALIENS SHOULDN'T GET SICK!" Marysa rushed around the bare room, grabbing washcloths and making a cup of tea.

"HERE YOU ARE!" Marysa slapped the washcloth on his face, and slammed a teacup down. "DRINK."

"Marysa… this tea…"

"Yes?"

"...has… no flavor." Derek chuckled.

"THEN…. DON'T DRINK IT AT ALL!" Marysa flushed.

"Nah, I'll drink it…" Derek winked. "It's Marysa's tea… anyways."

"Pervert, don't try to flirt with me. You failure of a lowlife."

"So I'm a highlife?"

"No, you're a lowlife but totally stupid and worse than a lowlife. You're like a low, lowlife."

Insults flew from each of their mouths, and Marysa left in a huff. Next time, she'd bring take-out and have someone else take care of that idiot.

Besides, the next day, Mr. Derek Walker was in high healths and spirits, smiling at everyone with a casual grin. Meanwhile, Marysa stalked around the school, her demon-aura on overload.

And then she realized, she never even asked the perv why the boys were glaring at her...

Thus, her demon powers rose even higher...

Beware the Marysa Ayuzawa Demon!

So, enjoy chapter I hope!
