Haylo my lovelies, how've you been? I've been great, extremely busy though! So, I hope you enjoy this chapter, I am trying to spice things up ;)
It was a warm spring night, and I staring blankly at my computer screen. I was supposed to be typing up some grand ideas, but nothing was coming to mind… Then it clicked… Soon my fingers were flying across the keyboard. Suddenly I heard the voices of two people, and they sounded like teenagers - a girl and a boy.
"WHAT THE-!"
"I KNEW IT! YOU REALLY ARE AN ALIEN! NOW LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE! WHAT-"
"Hey, calm down! I didn't do anything… at least not this time! Unless you want me -"
"HOLD IT RIGHT THERE! NOT A SINGLE PERVERTED WORD OUT OF YOUR MOUTH, MISTER! I WANT TO KNOW WHERE AND WHY THE HECK WE ARE HERE!"
I knew those voices! Giggling with excitement, I threw open my door and ran out into the yard, and standing there were two people I was hoping to see.
"Hi there!" I called. The two teens turned around, confusion written on their faces. Knowing they probably didn't know who I was, I continued talking. "I know who you two are, and you should really know who I am, but it is okay if you don't."
The boy raised an eyebrow. "You… know who we are?" He asked doubtfully.
I nodded. "Yes-"
"That's grand and all, but I don't know you and don't trust people I don't know. For all I know you could be my enemy." The girl interrupted, eyeing me with distaste.
"Um, well… I know you don't trust people that easily, especially boys. But why don't we just get the introductions over with. I'm sure that some people are getting impatient." I said.
"Who?" The girl asked.
"I'll explain it all in a minute. Anyways, you can call me Haylo."
"Oh… okay. We are - " The boy started to say, but the girl interrupted him.
"Shush! We shouldn't reveal our identities to -"
"Ah, yeah! You are Marysa Ayuzawa." I gestured to the girl. "And you are Derek Walker!" I smirked at the boy.
"WHAT!" They both exclaimed
"Look, let me just clear this all up. I am a fanfiction writer, and go by the username haylo4ever. However, I'd like everyone to just call me Haylo (or haylo4ever.)"
"Okay… and what does that have to do with us?" Derek asked.
Laughing to myself, I explained. "Well, this might be a little hard for you to take in but… you two are of my creation, based off of one of my favorite mangas!"
"..."
"..."
They both stared at me like I had two heads. Hey, I guess if you're told that you're from a book and a person's imagination based off of something else, I guess you'd stare at that person like they had two heads too!
"So, yeah. I know everything about you because… I created everything about you. I know you're darkest secrets and I can tell the future."
"You're either crazy or a crazy psychic." Marysa frowned.
"I'm neither. Well, maybe I'm crazy but I'm not psychic because I do know what is going to happen because I create it…. You know what? Just deal with it." I said.
"I am speechless, and confused." Derek mumbled, ruffling his hair.
"Oh, even crazier, I am creating all of this right now, so don't worry, you'll be back to where you were in, like, any minute."
"If you don't mind, could you re-explain this all to me?" Marysa asked.
"Of course, but I can't now. Let me type the next scene up, can't keep our readers waiting!
Look forward to more scenes with our favorite characters!
Marysa was in a furious mood. If she really had demonic powers… half of the world would explode right now. Oh, yes. Marysa Ayuzawa was a raging demon. Her roommates looked anxiously at her, choosing to have their mouths closed though.
"Oh that bastard! What do those teachers think they're doing? Is he influencing them too with his alien powers? I should've gotten the honor of getting the highest grades! I study so hard! Is it just because I skipped that one day? But I made all the work up all in one day on time! What the hell! Urgh! DEREK WALKER, I'M GONNA KILL YOU!"
In case she hadn't already demonstrated her rage enough, Marysa hurled her huge history book across the room. (Safely away from her friends, who had made sure they were out of her way.) The loud bang echoed thrillingly around the room, and Marysa sank onto her bed, eyes glaring so hard at the floor a hole could've burned right through.
The next day, Demon Marysa marched up and down the hallways, looking for that idiotic blonde who was too smart for his own good. If he had known better, he would've stayed out of her way, but the arrogant/ignorant teen marched right up to her while the rest of the student-spies trembled in fear that this was the end of DW.
"Yo, wassup? Why are you looking so down, dear Marysa?" Derek asked, a sunny smile on his flawless face. Almost all of the spies gathered around fainted in shock hearing the term; 'dear Marysa.'
"GO AWAY." Marysa hissed through clenched teeth. "I DON'T WANT TO SEE THAT FACE OF YOURS."
"Does it make you swoon?"
"LIKE HELL."
"Aw, did someone have a bad day? Do you need me to punch someone up?"
"YES, PLEASE PUNCH YOURSELF UP."
"That's not nice."
"SHUT UP, ALIEN!" Marysa screeched, and flew out of the room. If you looked hard enough, you could almost see the fiery tracks the demon-girl had made in her escape. After she left, a bunch of fans hovered around a bored Derek, fussing over him. Exasperated, he pushed his way through the suffocating crowds and ran off to find his beloved. [Hehe ;)] The onlookers looked on in surprise.
His alien powers (or the power of love) made him venture onto the windy roof of the MCIA. Leaning on the ledge was Marysa, stacks of papers around her. Her eyes were scrunched as she scanned the papers, studying like a maniac.
Grinning Derek sauntered over. "Hey, beautiful. Working that brain of yours?"
"..." No response.
Plopping down beside her, Derek took a paper. "Hm, the world history of women spies."
"..."
"Marysa…" Derek called.
"..." The raven-haired girl didn't even bother to respond, or she didn't realize he was even there.
"Marysa….?"
"..."
"Darling…"
"..."
"Rysa…." The insistent blonde kept calling her, trying to get her attention.
"Rysa, darling, honey, sweetie…."
"..."
"Cutie, sexy-"
"AH SHUT UP YOU PERVERT!" Marysa yelled, jumping up on top of the ledge and whacking Derek in the process.
"Wow, you were really in study mode!" Derek commented, also standing up.
"YOU ARE SO DARN ANNOYING! LEAVE ME ALONE!" Marysa started flailing her arms and pacing.
"Marysa-"
"YOU THINK THAT JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE GOOD AT EVERYTHING, YOU HAVE TO BE NUMBER ONE. CAN'T LET OTHERS TRY, HUH?!"
"Wha…?"
"YOU ANNOY ME SO MUCH, I HA-" Marysa broke off her ranting as she realized she was falling off the ledge. "AHHHH!"
Panic rushed through her head, blurring her thoughts. Normally she would react in any way a spy could, but fear clouded her mind. She squeezed her eyes shut, waiting for the impact…
SPLASH
She gasped, and water filled her lungs. Marysa's muscles were frozen and she knew she was going to drown…
"I gotcha."
Marysa coughed and hacked up water as she was pulled to the surface. Derek was holding her and keeping her afloat in the pool, his green eyes filled with concern.
"W-what…"
"Idiot, you need to be more careful. Next time you have a temper tantrum, please do it on level ground, not 4 stories up."
"S-sorry." Marysa gasped, caught up in another hacking spasm.
"Why are you apologizing?"
"Y-you saved me. A-are you okay?" Marysa heaved.
"...Don't worry about me."
"Th-thanks. But make sure y-you are alright." Marysa leaned her head on Derek's broad shoulders.
"Aw, are you worrying about me? How touching."
"Sh-shut up."
"Do you still hate me?"
"... why are you asking?"
"Because before you fell, you were about to say you hate me… or was it something else?"
"...I guess… I don't h-hate you. I j-just don't l-like you."
Derek lifted up her chin to gaze into her eyes. "Well, I like you."
"...I really dislike you…"
Okay, so that was crappy, I don't know. I know they should've kissed but... but I don't want to take it too far. And I sucked at the suspenseful part XD Urgh. If you don't like it, please tell me and I'll edit it. Please review!
XO,
haylo4ever
