Shortaki Week 2016 - Day
Eyes closed in sweet rapture, I'm waiting for his arrival. Anticipating the coming of the love of my life, Arnold. I'm listening quietly by my window for the sound of his footfall.
Finally, I can hear him coming. And then his voice–so beautiful and melodious–praising my beauty and confessing his undying love for me. The words I've always wanted to hear, passing his lips that haunt my girlish dreams. Those lips I plan to kiss in just a moment!
But first it's my turn to finally tell him how I adore him. To finally let him know my secret, adoring thoughts of love for him! To finally share the words I've so long kept cached inside my heart!
"O Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore art thou, Romeo? Deny thy father and refuse thy name, and I'll no longer be a Capulet."
