Spectre Chronicles Update 3
'I made a promise.'
Hey peeps! That's right, I'm not dead (yet), and for the record, neither is Spectre. As the quote above and my previous chapter states, I did indeed make a promise to finish this; and I don't break promises.
So, first things first: Happy Easter everyone! I literally just remembered it was Easter Sunday today, so I figured it'd be good to say something. Hope you all got enough eggs, I know I won one in a raffle last week and it made my day!
Anyways, back on topic. Seeing as I've been quiet for a quite a while now, I figured you guys deserved to know what's going on and things. So, the next chapter of Spectre: Through Fire and Steel (or S:TFAS) is about half way done. I'll be honest and say that I haven't looked at it for a little while because I'm having small difficulties which I cannot discuss due to spoilers. Yup.
Also, it's that time of the year where school work and job vacancies start popping up out of nowhere so I am busy too. On that note, I have gotten an interview for an apprenticeship with GKN Aerospace (for those of you who don't know, I actually study engineering in college and GKN is a pretty big company to work for). So why am I telling you this? Well, if I get the job, I'll be spending the first nine months of the placement back in college, and I've already done a good chunk of the work I'll need to do while I'm there. Put simply, I reckon that I'll have a lot more free time over that period that I can dedicate towards this. More chapters + quicker time = (hopefully) happy readers. :)
Despite my absence, I haven't just sat around and done nothing to go towards this fic. Together with my crossover writers: CJ Foxy and Elxroid, we have created a series of conversations between our characters, just so I could get a good idea of what they would say and do within each other's stories. After some discussion, we are considering releasing them into a style similar to the Support Conversations from Fire Emblem: Awakening, so if you're interested, look out for that.
In other news, I have a friend in college who's pretty good at drawing and loves the RWBY art style. He's given me an initial sketch for Spectre and it looks very good, so given a bit more time, there could be a unique cover image gracing your screens...
As for these little previews or extracts for my next potential projects, I've started on one or two, but I'll prioritise S:TFAS for now. Also regarding Spectre: Spin Offs, I have another one or two planned, but the above statement applies here as well. And don't panic, I haven't forgotten about the Christmas special either (Santa will be saved!).
So, I believe that's about it this time around. I thank you guys once again for your patience and support and I'll see you in the near future!

P.S: It's on its way!
