Chapter: 02 "I See You!"

"Say it again?" She inquired.

"I said 'have you ever seen a strawberry blonde chic here in this school'?" I said getting really annoyed by her nonchalant attitude.

"Nope, why?" she ask me. I just sighed.

It has been exactly one week and a day since my last encounter with that Redhead and since then, not once had I seen her again, like literally. It's not as if I like to stalk every single girl I met in this school, but she's just… different. It's like she has this ability or power to attract every single being that came in her way and I'm not talking about that attraction, but that also wouldn't be entirely wrong. She's very beautiful though. However, I just wanna be good friends with her.

"Nothing, it's just…" I didn't get to finish my sentence.

"You thought there was something between y'know but then she left the next morning?" Belle is Jealous. I could tell just by her tone.

"What? No! She's not like that. I mean I don't know, but come on why are you so pissed?" I was serious. She was never like this. I don't know what happened to her but something must be bothering her enough, she's never like this to me.

"Me? Jealous? Pfft… c'mon Elsa don't be absurd. I was just curious." Now she is rolling her eyes, might I add for the first time like this over-dramatic sarcastic way.

"About what? And don't lie to me, I know when something's bothering you." I said, reaching for her hand.

"I just… it's about him." I knew it! I know exactly who she's talking about.

"What about him?" I ask. She didn't pull her hand back, so I grab it and give her a reassuring squeeze.

"How could you not know it? Everyone in this school knows about it!" she exclaims.

"Yeah, but I want to know it from you." I answered. She just looked at me for a moment before answering.

"Adam's got a new girlfriend." She replied.

"And are you sure?" I asked. Our school also is famous for its rumors. You wouldn't believe how absurd things were rumored here; Haunted floors to serial killer living in the janitor room. I was once been called a 'Ghost of the roof' because I mostly in the beginnings of my years went up there to smoke. Smoke plus School roof and my albino white skin rest is not that hard to get to why I was called a ghost. However, later my name changed to Ice Queen or simply Ice Bitch, because I then use to give everyone a cold shoulder, still only my friends are stubborn enough to stick with me, rest just don't bother much.

By the way, Adam is her crush. Not only hers, there are many more stupid people in this school. But that she doesn't need to know.

"Hey, Earth to Elsa. Do you copy?" Came belle's sweet voice to snap me out of my daze.

"Yeah, sorry. Um…" what are we talking about?

"Seriously Els? Do you have like dementia or something?" She seems to be quite annoyed by now. It's not her fault exactly.

"No, I was just gonna say that it might be a rumor, that's all." I point it out.

"Yeah, I wish but I don't think so. Just look at them, they are always together like every single fucking time!" She exclaims. And was that what I heard her swear.

"You swore, you actually just said a bad-fucking-word! Congratulations babe, I'm so proud of you." I said patting her back, smirking when she just groaned.

"Okay, seriously speaking. Belle, you and I are always together like every single effing time!" I try to mimic her.

"But that's not the point. The point is you and me are just friend-"

"-yet," I cut her.

"-oh shut it. And Adam and that bitch are dating." She finishes. Okay Belle a sweet person she's just hurt right now… she doesn't really shit talk like this.

"And that is not confirmed from either of them. This might just be a rumor. Now, shut up before I have to do that for you." I said.

She didn't get to answer. The bell to the first class rang. Belle and I are control freaks so we like to reach school about half an hour earlier from the first class. It gave us some time to set our mind and body, and plus give enough time for a morning chat.

We made our way to the first class; surprisingly our principle was already inside the classroom, so that only means trouble. We sat in our usual place and wait for the class to fill in.

After our classroom was filled with surprisingly quite students, the principle came up to speak.

"As we all know that this is your last year, for most of you,-" he said, eying the empty headed students, he continued, "-there is a bit of bad news or we can call it a 'Surprise'." I already hate it.

"There is some maintenance issue in our middle school building, and therefore some empty classrooms have been taken in this building, but that still doesn't solve our problems." Will you just say it and save us from your fucking breath?

"And therefore this year's junior year and senior year classes, most of your classes will be held together in the same classroom, including history, calculus, biology-" and blah, blah, blah. What! You're combining two years! Two most important years of student's fucking life together!

"-Because it's all the same… not much of a difference." Is he crazy or what? "For a few months not much"

The entire class groaned after his lame of a speech.

"Now, now behave. Juniors are outside, your teacher will see to it." He turned towards our history teacher, Prof. Edward Angelo, muttering something before leaving.

After he left, Prof. Angelo made us sit towards the back, so junior could be settled in the front. Suddenly, the door flew open and in came some of the jocks of our class, one of which was Adam. Hmm... Time for matchmaking.

As he past us, I quickly stand in front of him, "Hey, man. Late practice?" I ask.

"Yeah…" he looked at me suspiciously, as I'm the quite one in the class, for a moment before replying.

"You can sit here, I'm going back there." I pointed towards the empty two seats that were in the next row.

"Are you sure? I don't mind sitting in the back." He said but his body language was betraying his words. He is a good dude sometimes proud but other than that, he's cool. Anyway, I just wanted him to sit next to Belle because I know she won't talk to him in any other situation, she's too shy.. things I do for love.

"No, no. Make yourself comfortable." I said before continuing, "By the way, she bites." Oh god! The face belle just made was totally priceless. I looked her way with a look that was saying 'you're welcome'.

She was silent during the entire conservation as if she was mute or something. Anyway, I settle myself on one of the empty chairs in the back. Teacher was speaking something but I didn't pay it any attention, then juniors starts to fill in. One by one, each seat was being occupied except for the one next to mine, partially because of me and mainly because it was in the very back and on the wall side. Well, everyone is here so why not we start going some work.

"So, today we're going to start with-" Thud... What the… Even the teacher got spooked. He was closing the door while speaking but was interrupted when someone or something crash with the now closed door. Ouch…

There was a pause before a soft knock came from the other end of the door. The teacher opens it to find- There you are...my cutie Redhead. I felt myself smiling which was weird...

"S-sorry sir, but is this where junior year's science class is going?" Going? Science? She's funny…

"Yes, reason for being late?" late? Dude, its 9:07 AM right now.

"I got lost." Funny, that's how we first met, minus the embarrassing part.

"Didn't someone help you? It's a big school; you should start making some friends." So, she will. besides she's new, give her a break!

"Can't get angels everyday now can we?" Wait, what? Who is she reffering? Hah, let's just save it for later.

"Hmm… feisty one? I already like you. Now take a seat, unfortunately there's only one left in the back." And that was right next to mine.

Her eyes wonder towards the only unoccupied seat and then she met my eyes, which causes her to blush and look somewhere else. When she moves up to her destination, there were some comments about her. The ones I didn't like.

"Oh, hot damn." Came a voice from some fret boys.

"I call dibs," technically, I've got dibs.

"I bet twenty bucks Elsa gonna hit her right now," now this ones from our ever-jealous cheerleaders.

"No need to bet it, she will. I bet fifty bucks she will try to screw her." What the fuck?

"Can I sit here", came her sweet voice. I ignore all the whispers and focus my attention to this beautiful redhead.

"Sure," I said moving to give her space to adjust.

After she was settled, the teacher continued on something but I didn't focus on his blah, blah. How should I start a conversation with her or should I even start it or just keep quite.

After some time, I give in.

"Hello?" I start by a lame 'hello'.

Her pen was still moving on a paper, she might not wanna hear me or maybe I didn't say it loud enough. Is she ignoring me? But why? Only one way to find out.

"Hello?" I ask a little (very) loudly catching her off guard. Her pen goes flying towards Belle's head and her pencil box scattered all over the floor. It caught me off guard as well, and I accidently kick her water bottle. That bottle aside, my kick was hard enough and it landed to the underside of Adam's chair. I don't know if he's a light weight or had his weight on his legs but somehow his chair moved up about five inches in the air, causing even more humongous creaking and thudding noise. Okay I might have shaken her a little as well which was really why this all happened.

All eyes are now on us.

There were even some gasps.

Embarrassing Moment Number: 02

"Hey, you're okay?" I ask Adam, partially 'cause this was my doing and mainly 'cause I care for his balls. What? my kick was very hard.

"Uhmm..." Surely, he was in some kind of distress. Next, I look at Belle. Oh my Belle. Now, don't get me wrong here. I look at Red first, but she was fine. Well except for her eyes, which were swollen like balloons? And big as a saucer which could burst any second. However, Belle, well she was a different story. Saucer-eyed to jaw-dropping look was in display. Therefore, I didn't say anything. Instead, I just waved at the teacher signaling everything's okay.

The rest of the period was as quite as someone's funeral …

I wanted to talk to her but I didn't, and at the end of the period she just bolted out of that place like it was eating her alive.

Well it was enough signals for me to leave her alone... but I am a stubborn soul…
