Danielle had told her father about what had happened to her and Belle after they left the castle, and it took everything not to storm into the mayor's office and rip her pretty little throat out. But he had to be patient, wait for the right moment to kill her for doing that to his family. To his wife and child.

Unfortunately, neither of them knew where Belle was, or whether or not Regina had killed her when she attempted to escape. For now they would have to wait for the curse to break and everyone to get their memories back and see if Belle would appear.

Now that Danielle remembered who she was, she wasn't sure what to do. When work was over she was a little unsure of where to go. Mr. Gold, er… Rumple was her dad so did that mean that she had to go and move into his house or…?

"Rose, when you head back to the inn, don't lock the door, I have some things to take care of," he said as he started putting some things away.

"Okay," she nodded. "See you tomorrow?"

He nodded. "Be good, be safe, I'll see you tomorrow, and when the curse breaks we'll see about getting this family under one roof, ok?" He wrapped his arm around her in a hug and kissed her head. She smiled and hugged him back.

"Good night, Papa," she said, and headed out the door. She was walking back to the inn when she saw a small, familiar figure heading in the opposite direction.

"Henry!" she waved and he stopped.

"Hey Danny," he smiled and he went over to her.

"Where are you headed so late?" she asked.

"Going to see Emma. Mom said something about her visiting earlier and I want to know why."

"I see," she nodded. "Oh! Before you do that, I haven't given your book back to you yet. Come with me real quick, I have it at the inn."

The two of them headed to the inn and went up to her room.

"So… Did you read it?" Henry asked.

Danielle nodded and sighed. "Yeah, I did…"

"And?" Henry asked.

"…I learned a lot from it," she said. "I'm very glad you let me borrow it, Henry, thanks." She didn't think it wise to tell him that the curse was real and that she remembered who she was. Though it would make him very happy, she thought it best to wait until the curse was broken.

Henry just smiled. "Well, I better get going, but thanks for giving it back to me," he said and he headed for the door.

"Hey! Your big sister doesn't get a hug?" she asked, smiling. Henry chuckled and he turned back to her, hugging her close. Danielle smiled. "I love you, little guy."

"Yeah, love you too," he said. He left, with a little wave, and then he was gone.

It wasn't even a half hour later when Danielle suddenly heard the sirens of an ambulance. Henry was in there.

Regina rushed to the inn and pounded on Danielle's door.

"What are you doing here?" Danielle asked, obviously annoyed that the queen was at her door. Now that she had her memories, she hated this woman who had dragged her from her father…

"Quickly, you have to come with me," Regina said, reaching to grab her wrist and drag her out of the room.

"I am not going anywhere with you," Danielle snapped, ripping her hand away. "I made that mistake long ago, your majesty."

"Wait, this is- …'Your majesty'?"

Danielle smiled. "I remember, Regina. I remember everything, how you manipulated my mother, how you locked us away from the sunlight for four years. I remember the insults you called my father, my mother, me. I remember everything, and now ontop of what you put me through during this curse? You're lucky I don't have my father's magic, otherwise you would be a pile of ash right now. But don't worry, when the curse breaks, I'll make sure to tell my father in detail."

Regina just stared at her, her eyes wide and her jaw slackened. Danielle smirked and she moved to close the door.

"Wait! It's Henry! They're taking him to the hospital!"

One night, Hunter started howling. It had been almost a year since the Huntsman had left her here in the castle, and though Rose missed her parents dearly, she still hadn't gone to look for them. Rose was in the middle of trying to spin straw into gold when she heard the wolf's howls. She lit a candle and wrapped herself in a blanket for it was cold that night. She headed outside to where Hunter slept since he didn't like to be cooped up for too long. He was wide awake, head thrown back, howling into the night.

"Hunter? Hunter what's wrong?" she asked as she approached him. She touched his head and he finally stopped, looking at her. "Hunter, what's the matter?"

Hunter made one last howl and then pointed his nose to the right. Rose looked over and gasped. There, on the horizon, was an enormous wave of black and purple and green smoke, with lightning strikes and strong winds. It was racing towards the castle, engulfing everything in it's path. Rose didn't have any idea what it was, but it made her heart race with fear. There would be no escaping this wave of fog.

She knelt down beside Hunter and held him close. "Don't worry, Hunter," she said to the wolf. "We're going to be alright. We're going to stick together, alright?"

The wolf looked at her and licked her cheek. The fog reached them, and everything went black.

The candle went out.

Danielle wasn't allowed to go see Henry. They had to make him stable, and then they had to do tests to see what was wrong with him. Regina had gone in before her but Emma had attacked her, and then they somehow got to agree on something and they left without so much as a goodbye to Danielle. The teenager didn't understand but she couldn't see Henry, so she sat in the waiting room twiddling her fingers. Dr. Whale recognized she was there and he went to explain what he knew.

Apparently, Henry had just collapsed out of nowhere because of an apple turnover. But when he had talked to her, he had been completely fine! What had happened? Whale also said that that she could go home and they would call Regina if anything happened, but Danielle refused. She wanted to be there when Henry woke up.

Danielle was very lonely and tired, though. The waiting room was very quiet. Then she got an idea. She went to the receptionist's desk and asked to use the phone.

"Hello?"

"Hi, Todd, it's Danielle."

"Oh, hey, Danny. What's—"

"Look, can you just come meet me at the hospital? Henry is really sick and I'm all alone in the waiting room and I… I'm just really scared, I don't want to be alone."

"…Okay. I'll be there in a little bit, ok?"

"Thank you."

Usually, Danielle would have called her father, but knowing him, he was probably going to be dealing with Emma and Regina, helping Emma break the curse, and she didn't want to bother him yet. She really wanted Todd to be there, now that she remembered the kind boy in the village that had played ball with her. Todd arrived about ten minutes later. Danielle explained what happened with Henry and when she was done, she was crying.

"Hey, hey, it's okay," Todd said quietly as he sat her down on a chair. "It's gonna be alright. Don't cry."

"I'm just so worried." Danielle wiped her eyes. "I don't want anything bad to happen to him, he's still my little brother…"

"I know, I know," he said, sitting next to her. "But it's going to be alright, the doctors will figure out what's wrong, they always do. Shh, don't cry."

"Just… Just stay with me, please?" she asked softly. "I don't want to go through this alone."

He looked at her for a minute. "Yeah, okay. I'll stay." He nodded.

"Thank you," she said.

Eventually the two of them fell asleep. Later, Danielle woke up to the sound of a loud commotion, she didn't know what was going on but she hoped it wasn't Henry. Then she saw someone who was very familiar to her…. Jefferson?

Forgetting about Todd for the moment, Danielle got up and silently followed the man who looked like Jefferson. He was dressed in a male nurse's outfit, and he carried a cup of probably coffee or tea. He didn't hear Danielle behind him.

He went over to a door that said Exit, and put in a number code on a little panel next to the door. It unlocked and he went in. Before it could close on itself, Daniele caught the door and followed.

The door lead to a staircase and he went right down. Danielle hung back and listened. There were voices, one of them was definitely Jefferson's. Then there was silence, and she headed down. There was a desk, and slumped behind it was a sleeping lady. Danielle guessed she was having a rough night. Then she saw Jefferson heading down the hall.

"Jefferson!" she called quietly.

He stopped and turned to her. When he saw her, he smiled. "Hey," he said. "Wanna help me out with something?"

"Help you with what, what are you doing down here?" she asked as she approached him.

"Freeing your mom," he smiled wider and continued down the hall. Her eyes widened. Her mom? Belle was alive? Danielle's heard swelled at the thought of seeing her mother again, and she hurried down the hall after him.

"Excuse me, are you Mr. Gold?"

"Yes, I am, and I'm afraid the shop's clos…."

Danielle stood outside of the entrance to Gold's office. Jefferson had told Belle to find Mr. Gold and he asked Danielle to take her to him. She had been overjoyed to see her mother again, she had almost hugged her the second she saw her. But she had to control herself, Belle didn't remember that she even had a daughter. She had taken her mother to Gold's shop, and she couldn't wait until they were a family again.

"I was told that you'd protect me…" Belle's voice said.

"…Oh yes… Yes I'll protect you," Gold said softly, sounding like he was on the verge of tears.

"…I'm-I'm sorry, do…. Do I know you?"

"…No. But you will."

Danielle couldn't wait any longer. She knocked on the doorway before she entered. Gold and Belle were facing eachother in the middle of the room, gods, he looked so happy… He looked over and saw his daughter.

"Rose? What are you doing here?"

"I brought her here," she smiled. "I had a little help."

He smiled at her and nodded. "I'm very proud of you. But we're not done yet. There's things to do."
