A/N: My fellow readers, I have been delayed due to finding a second job, training for it, going to university and juggling all these things at once. In short it barely left me any time to write at all. Adding to that, I have gotten sick as well. I'm feeling better now but at least here goes a chapter. Not one of my best chapters. Just starting to re-stretch my "writing legs". My apologies for any typos I may have over looked.
Disclaimer: Oh if only I had come up with the idea of this great world. However, the credit goes to the very talented J.K. Rowling
Chapter 12 A New Start
Harry had trouble sleeping that night. It had been a long time since he had seen Cho. His holiday to Morocco after all seemed to be what he needed after all. He was becoming so fond of Morocco that he was beginning to consider the fact of transferring to Morocco with the British extension of the Ministry of Magic in Marrakech. First he needed to go back home finish his training and wait a year. He could only transfer after one year of service to the Auror Department at the headquarters in London. However, Harry had decided to stay the remainder of the Summer before heading back to London.
Harry and Cho did many things together as their love slowly began to grow again. They went to the Marrakech mosque to look at the colorful mosaics and designs of the building. Cho had been wearing a beautiful and long black silk coat to cover her small simple figure. She had covered her head with an embroidered black silk veil that covered her hair and neck but her unique brown almond eyes and face could still be seen. They walked about quietly and snuck smiles at each other. When they walked out, Harry took off Cho's veil and caressed her hair.
"That was a beautiful mosque. Wasn't it Harry?" said Cho with a smile.
"You were the beautiful one Cho" said Harry and his hand eventually came down and caressed Cho's cheek.
"How long will you be staying in Morocco Harry?" asked Cho a little reluctantly.
Harry's smile slowly disappeared and he answered, "I will be going back to London in three weeks. I want us to go back to what we had Cho" said Harry trying to be more direct this time.
Cho leaned into Harry's hand, closed her eyes for a brief moment and then opened them up to look up at Harry, "I would like that very much Harry. I'll talk to Mr. Al-Andalusi to see if I could get away for a few weeks and I can come back home with you."
"I would like that very much too Cho. It would be nice to have you back home, if only for a few weeks at least" said Harry before smiling back down at Cho.
A couple of days later
Harry and Cho apparated at Tangier. Harry looked around and the city, "this is an amazing city Cho. It almost looks like I'm back home."
"It does, doesn't it? Whenever I can, I apparate here because it feels like home to me too. Come on Harry, let me take you to a great place where we can eat" said Cho as she gently took him by the hand.
The owner happened to know Cho and gave them a small table by the window. They could see the people walking by. Harry then spoke up, "Have you talked to Al-Andalusi about coming home to visit for a couple of weeks?"
Cho nodded, "Yes, and he told me to take the time I need. He said that he hadn't seen someone work so much and I barely took any time off."
"I suppose that sorting hat all those years ago definitely knew what it was doing when it put you in Ravenclaw" said Harry with a smile at the memory of his own sorting into Gryffindor.
Cho giggle softly, "I actually was nervous that day."
"Who isn't. I remember the sorting hat saying that I could do great things being in Slytherin but the funny thing is I said not slytherin so it put me in Gryffindor" said Harry.
"How curious, then again you were always brave and you even faced off Voldermort" said Cho and she looked back outside and at that moment the waiter came to order their drink and food.
After eating dessert, Harry paid for their food and they went out for a walk around in the city center of Tangier.
"Have you ever been to Tangier before Harry?" as Cho looking at Harry for a moment before looking down at the street that was in front of them.
"No, actually this is my very first time. Whow ever knew that Morocco is such a beautiful place" said Harry and he smiled back at Cho and took her hand gently in his and continued to walk down the main avenue.
"How did you decide to come to Morocco?" asked Cho now looking at him in curiosity.
Harry smiled at himself and said, "Actually it was a rather silly idea and Ron, Seamus, and Neville thought that it would be a good idea to come to Morocco. I was suggesting Egypt since Ron had been there before."
"Would you like to go to Egypt some day Harry?" asked Cho.
Harry looked pensive for a moment and looked at Cho as he nodded, "You know what Cho, actually I would like that very much. I have actually grown fond of the desert and its sands"
"You like the desert?" asked Cho surprised.
"Yes, actually very much. I would like to go travel through the Sahara but with the right resources of course" thought Harry. For a moment he remembered Ginny but he tried to shake that thought away.
"Harry you alright?" asked Cho after actually seeing Harry shake his head.
"Yeah, I thought something was in my hair is all" said Harry and he smiled back at Cho. Cho could resist and tousled his hair.
"I have to admit that I always liked you hair. It made you look cute" said Cho with a shy smile.
"You like my hair? Oh who could you Cho, it's always difficult to handle. Especially in the mornings" said Harry as he rolled his eyes up and then looked back at Cho who was now giggling.
Harry didn't know what it was but he pulled Cho closer and took her into his arms. He then gently kissed her on the lips.
Back in Greece
Ginny had slightly burned her shoulders, back, and face and now the result was a tan on her once white complexion. She was standing at the edge of the deck and looking out at the famous Greek island of Santorini. She smiled to herself as the gentle breeze caressed her face. Suddenly she felt a pair of manly arms come around her waist. Then she felt a gentle kiss on her neck.
"What is a lovely witch like yourself doing her by herself?" asked Phillip
"I was just enjoying the warm breeze is all" answered Ginny.
"It's a shame that we have to go back to London tomorrow. I had such a wonderful time with you Ginny. Harry Potter was a fool for letting you go" said Phillip as he kissed her neck a little more sensually this time.
At the sound of his name Ginny opened her eyes in surprise and the this was unknown to Phillip since he was standing behind her. Ginny had to remember that Harry Potter was her past and that Phillip Edwards was now her future. She was going to try her best to do what she could to enjoy every moment she had with Phillip.
Ginny turned to look at Phillip. She put his hand on his cheek and said, "Please don't mention Harry Potter again" and then she gave him a gentle kiss on the lips. One that soon turned into a passionate and all mention of Harry was suddenly forgotten. After what seemed a long time they didn't even realize that they had arrived at the dock. They took their things and got off the yacht.
When they arrived back at the home of Phillip's parents, they went to their separate rooms.
Two hands then waved a wand as they said a secret incantation. A pensieve came out. This wasn't any ordinary pensieve. This pensieve not only allowed the person to be there but it also allowed them to communicate. It was a special charm that had been made through some sort of dark magic.
"So, were you able to find him?" asked the dark, deep and raspy voice.
"Yes sir. I was able to find him. However, some kind of protective barrier seems to cover him now" said the younger voice.
"Excuses! I don't want excuses! I want results you imbecile!" said the raspy voice.
"Yes sir. I have information which I believe will lead me closer to him" said the younger voice.
"Well then do it!" said the raspy voice and the person with the two hands was back where they had the pensieve.
London: Ministry of Magic
"Harry! You're finally back!" Harry knew that familiar voice anywhere. It was Ron's. In part it felt good to be back home. The best part was that Cho was going to be able to stay with him for a couple of weeks before having to go back to work in Morocco.
"Yeah, I'm back. It sure feels good to be back home too. Cho will be staying for a couple of weeks at my flat before she goes back to work in Morocco" added Harry with a small smile.
"Blimey Harry, already getting busy with the girls" said Seamus with a smirk as he walked up.
Andrew Millburgh and Geoffrey Moore walked into the room full of newly acquired aurors who were going to be prepared and training for the field.
Millburgh spoke up with a loud thunderous voice, "You have been chosen to be here to be part of a select group. Your training will be extremely rigorous and you will be expected to meet all necessary requirements. The training that wil be given to you here at the Auror Department is not to be taken lightly. Before you get sent to the field, there will be a demanding practical examination. One will test your mental abilities and the other will test your physical abilities. They are extremely difficult and few pass them. However, persistence and dilligence will help you succeed in order to be come an auror. Now, let us begin"
Hollyhead Harpie Quidditch Pitch
"You're Ginevra Weasley, aren't you?" said one of the harpies.
Ginny turned around and nodded, "Yes I am. Actually I'm one of the new chasers"
"I'm Linda Brown the other chaser. I'm sure we will work well together" and Linda Brown extended her hand. Ginny took it and gave it a firm shake.
"I see you have met your partner here Brown" said Gwenog Jones with a firm voice.
"Yes, I think we will do great things together" said Linda Brown looking at Gwenog Jones and then she turned to Ginny to look at her.
Gwenog Jones arched an eyebrow and said, "Hang on, aren't you going out with Phillip Edwards, the chaser for the Montrose Magpies?"
Ginny gave a shy smile and nodded her head up and down. She still couldn't believe it herself that she was going out with Phillip Edwards.
"You're going out with Phillip Edwards?" asked Daphne Belvedere the other chaser.
"Yeah I am" admitted again Ginny.
"You are one lucky girl. You have no idea how many witches are after him. You better keep a close on on that bloke" said Grace Matthews the seeker of the team.
"Alright girls, that's enough blabbing about blokes. Time to play quidditch!" called out Gwenog and they began to play.
Several hours after practice Gwenog got all the players together except for Ginny and asked them how the new chaser was.
"Well, she definitely makes my job easy because she knows how to get away from those bludgers bloody fast" said Miranda Crowley the other beater.
"I agree with you Crowley. She definitely made our job easier. This means that we can focus on throwing those bludgers and those other blasted seekers and chasers.
"She was amazing on how quickly she passed and made points with the quaffle and all without getting hit from those dangerous bludgers" said Linda Brown nodding in agreement.
"You couldn't have found a better chaser Gwenog" said Daphne Belvedere.
"She can definitely add points fast enough to help me find that snitch. That would take some weight off of my shoulders. In all, she is a very good one and we like her. Don't we girls?" said Grace Matthews the seeker of the team as she looked at her other teammates.
Gwenog looked around at all of them and smiled, "This is great girls. It looks like we have definitely found us a super chaser" and Gwenog gave a mischievous smile because she felt confident that their team was going to be on a winning streak real soon.
