Chapter XXII: The Aftermath
"She is okay?" Elena said looking at the girl who laid on the couch. She wasn't sure whether about scared her more the fact that Katherine and Klaus had children-twin girls or Esther and Mikael want the world clean of vampires.
"She'll be fine." Stefan replied with his arms crossed, "This is going to freak Damon out."
A frown played itself across Elena's face, "Speaking of which, where is he?"
"No clue." Moments after the words left his mouth, they heard the door open and close with Damon walking in.
He froze in his track at the sight of Aria, or that's who he believed was on his couch, He turned to both Elena and Stefan, "What is she doing here?" He closed his eyes after hearing a faint heartbeat, knowing that she was alive.
"Do you wanna tell him or shall I?" Stefan said looking at Elena, who shrugged as Damon moved to "Aria".
Stefan smirked, "That girl isn't Aria, Damon." Elena nodded for encouragement.
Damon turned around with a smirk, "Right and the next thing you're going to tell me is that Aria has a doppelgänger, right?"
Elena bit her lip before replying, "She's actually Aria's twin, Natalia."
Damon snorted, "Did not see that coming."
Suddenly a loud gasp sounded and they all turned to face the blue-eyed girl with new-found curiosity dripping from Damon, Elena and even Stefan. In that same moment, Elijah decided to barge into the Salvatore home.
Katherine watched as Klaus carry Aria after she had passed out from the fighting. She was still speak less at what she saw. Katherine knew it could be a misunderstanding, just because she named her eldest child Nadia doesn't mean that she is the only one with that name.
But her hair. Her Accent. Could she be my Nadia?
In her state of shock, she had followed Klaus without even noticing.
"Where are we going?" She questioned making herself to Klaus' side.
"Home." He answered as Aria muttered in her sleep, "Elijah went to get Natalia. Hopefully we all will be able to make sense of this whole situation that we've gotten ourselves into, love."
"Hopefully, we will." Kol appeared, "We lost father and Rebekah has taken mother's body home." He reported.
Klaus cursed, "Any sign of where he may have disappeared to?"
"None." Kol replied bitterly.
Katherine reached for head as she place her hand on Kol's shoulder for support, "Go check if Elijah's home with Natalia."
Kol looks at Katherine with concern, "What about you?"
Katherine place her hand over her hips, "I'm fine. I just need blood, can you make sure we have enough for when Natalia and Aria wake?"
He took one more look over her before nodding and flashed out.
Aria, in Klaus' arm fidgeted, "Jase! Jase, no don't Jason!" Her eyes flew wide open.
"Calm down, Love. It's me. Relax." Klaus said trying to balance her.
She seemed to settle down at the tone of his voice, Katherine could see a little laziness in her eyes and knows that the witches may have drugged her.
"Ok Daddy." She yawned and Klaus smiled. She placed her arms around his neck and laid her head on his shoulder, "Daddy, mommy?" She questioned.
"I miss Jason. He said I could have been his queen...I wanted to be with him." She rumbled on, "Maybe I could gone...but I'd never find my sister. I miss Jason. He probably found a pretty girl." She pouted.
"Do you think she's prettier than me?" She gasps.
Klaus laughed, "No princess, she isn't."
Well...we know that she her vanity got that from Katherina...
"Good. Cause I'm the prettiest." She declared.
"Yes you are." Katherine spoke.
"Mommy?"
"Yes Sweetie?"
"I don't like Elena, she's mean." Katherine couldn't help but smile, "What did she do to you?"
"She took my plaything."
"Huh, what that's, love?" Klaus questions as they get closer to the Mikaelson mansion.
"She has Damon. She likes playing with them both. That's mean to Steffy, because he loves loves her. Elena blind."
"Do you like Damon?" Katherine asked as Klaus sent her a death glare.
"Yesss he's very nice and pretty but he no Jason. I love him." She said closing her eyes.
"Elijah." Elena greeted.
"Elena. Stefan. Damon." He greeted back, "Natalia?" He said looking over Damon's shoulder to the girl, who sat on the couch.
"Where am I?" She said panicking.
"Calm down blue eyes." Damon said throwing her a blood bag. Elijah sent a disapproving glare towards him.
"Do I know any of you?" She said cautiously,opening the blood bag.
"Actually Natalia, you do." Luke said appearing next to Elijah, who was the only one unaffected by his sudden appearance.
"What did he come from?" Elena pointed.
"How exactly?" Natalia said ignoring the girl.
"Trust him and go, your sister and your parents are waiting for you at home. P.S he's your uncle."He said before vanishing.
"Seriously! How does he do that?" Elena exclaimed.
"Protector magic." Elijah answered as Natalia got up to follow him out of the house, leaving Elena to wonder.
...
"So, I'm not usually quiet but where exactly are we going?"
"Home." Elijah said with a warm smile.
"Home?" she said softly. Elijah watched the girl's eyes light like a Christmas tree that he once saw on TV.
"Unlce Lijah, how are my parents like?" She questioned after a moment of silence.
He closed his eyes for a brief moment trying to find a way that could describe his younger brother or Katherina. Natalia watched as a pained expression appeared on his face, "It's totally fine if you don't want to...Is Aria okay?"
"She's fine, a little wore out, but nothing blood can't fix." Kol said appearing next to her as she jumped.
"Kol." Elijah scolded.
"Hi." she responded at the same moment.
"Ello, darling, how are you feeling?"
"Fine, been better."
"Good. Maybe later we can find some humans to feed off of." He suggested.
"Humans who have lives." Eliah said giving Kol a dark glare.
"Hmm I may take you up on that offer." She yawned. Her eyes suddenly felt very heavy, she blinked a couple of times, ignoring her uncles fight, she started to stumble which caught the attention of Elijah, who able to catch on time, before she surroundings turned black.
Kol and Elijah, who carried Natalia walked in silence.
"Lijah, how do you think Nik is feeling?"
"Confused. Lost. Anger. He is fulled with a lot of emotion, Kol."
"And the Petrova girl?"
"Katherina?"
"Don't make her another Tatia, Elijah." He stopped in his tracks, "She isn't anything like her, Kol."
"I know, but the see the way you and Nik both look at her, the same as Tatia." Elijah continued to walk in silence, thinking about Kol's words.
"Katherina, I must admit is the best doppelganger, so far." Kol rumbled off, "How is she in bed?" He tempted.
"Kol, if you don't become quiet this insists I will came after you with that bat that you love so much." Elijah hissed as Kol laughed at his brother's love sickness for the girl. But the back of head, Kol couldn't help but wonder how both of his brothers' love for Katherina Petrova will tear his family apart. He saw what had happened with Tatia, and knew he couldn't let this happen again, not with his nieces around. Kol knew he had to protect both Natalia and Aria from whatever harm even if it may be his family, so be it.

Okay I know that I promised some Aria and Damon scene but then this idea came to me about Kol since we really don't see his character really interact with Elijah...my imagination took over. It just needed a family fluff.
***next chapter I promise there will be Kalroline, Kalijah, and Damon with Aria maybe Matt and Nadia(not really sure)***
-Oh and IF I was to write a sequel, would you read it if it took place in New Orleans?

So I was going thru the reviews and noticed that I never answered a question about Hayley AKA Moon Moon (well to me-tumblr thing).
good chapter, but what about hayley makes you hate her? is it because you ship klaroline and kalijah?
Well guest, I going to be totally honest with you and say Yes. I hate her b/c I ship Klaroline and Kalijah.
My Reasons:
*She broke two main ships that I've cheered on for...leaving me w/ nothing but dreams now that Kat is dead
*Her character is badly written- so I can't exactly blame PT, but the acting really really needs improving with
*Now that Katherine & Rebekah is gone, I have to sit thru and watch the tortures of what I call Halijah...just don't even get me started ( I don't ship this after watching Elijah use that same Kalijah kiss moment w/ moon moon...it killed me... I wish I could show you a gif...)
^Basically all i have for now b/c my brain is blank ATM...oh and Kol would never have approved of moon moon... just sayin'- he's a Klaroline shipper^
