Hey guys!

Took me longer than I wanted but it was still faster than before. Hope you enjoy this update!

Two weeks after thanksgiving

Since Deeks started to be open to Claire about everything, their partnership had improved a lot. Thanksgiving dinner was nice and they all had a really good time. It was the middle of the night and Deeks was exhausted. He'd been up since the crack of dawn. The day was crazy and now he was sitting in an airplane, cramped in between Sophia and an old lady who smelled like cats.

They were on their way to Germany for their two week trip. Sophia has beed excited ever since he had told her, which resulted in long evenings and early mornings, because she wasn't able to sleep. Jasmin was excited for them to go and made a whole list of places they have to go to, but Deeks could tell that deep down she was sad that she wasn't able to go.

Deeks looked at his watch. It would be another 4 hours before they landed in Frankfurt, where they'd switch planes to go to Hamburg. They'd stay there for 2 days and then take the train to Jasmin's hometown Uelzen. They might even get to see some snow. It would be Sophia's first snow and she was excited.

"Daddy?" She asked in a sleepy voice.

"Yes princess?"

"Are we there yet?" She yawned.

"No, it's gonna be another couple of hours. Try to get some more sleep. I'll try too."

She was back asleep before he finished talking. He leaned back in his seat and closed his eyes hoping for sleep to come.

9 hours later, they were in a Taxi on their way from the airport to the hotel in Hamburg. Deeks was exhausted but since it was only lunch he had to stay awake for another couple of hours. Damn time difference. He looked over at Sophia who was glued to the window. It was a grey day and very cold, at least Deeks felt that way, but he was used to the heat of Los Angeles.

Once they were all settled in at the hotel they decided to head into the city for lunch. Deeks was impressed that a lot of the German people spoke English so well. It was way easier to get around than he expected. But Mine said it would be better in Hamburg than in her hometown. That's why she asked one of her friends to show then around once they get to Uelzen.

For lunch they sat down in a cozy little restaurant in downtown Hamburg. Deeks enjoyed the best beer of his entire life while Sophia was enjoying her Jägerschnitzel with homemade fries.

Aftre lunch and over the next day they toured Hamburg by day and night. They looked at a couple of historic buildings, took a boats ride on the Elbe and did some souvenir shopping for the team. Deeks had also asked Daniel what Jasmin would like to have from her home. All of it was basically food or candy, but he happily got it for her.

Now they were sitting in the train to Uelzen. The trainride was way smoother than in the US. Damn Amtrak.

"Daddy, I had a dream about mommy last night. It was scary. We met her on the street and she didn't recognize us even after we talked to her. But she looked good and healthy, better than in my last dream. You think she can forget us in heaven?"

Deeks put his arms around Sophia and softly murmured in her ear.

"I don't think so honey. She'll always watch out for us. And as long as we don't forget her she won't forget us. Never forget that pumpkin."

The train ride was only an hour and soon they were standing on the platform of a very exotic looking train station.

"Wow! This is awesome" Sophia's eyes scan the area, trying to take it all in.

"This is crazy!" Deeks exclaimed. He was close to being speechless.

They just stood there for a couple of minutes just staring.

"It is quite different from he stations in the States isn't it?" A deep voice interrupted their staring.

Deeks eyes abandoned the pillar he was looking at and landed on a brown-haired woman roughly the same age as Jasmin. It mus be her friend.

"Hey are you Lisa?"

"Yes I am. You must be Marty and Sophia. It is nice to finally meet you."

They shook hands and Lisa mentioned them to follow her.

" Mine told me a lot about you guys."

"Who?" Deeks asked confused.

"Jasmin. Mine is her nickname...at least here in Germany."

Lisa just shrugged and came to a halt next to a black VW Multivan. "Let's get your suitcases in and on the are you staying at again?"

Lisa opened the trunk and started loading up the suitcases.

"Hotel Stadt Hamburg. This is quite a big car."

"Are you kidding Dad? It is huge! This is soo cool. I don't understand why people always say that Americans drive the biggest cars."

"Well I need the space. I have four children. You buckled Sophia?"

"Yeah. Four kids...wow. Girls or boys? Can we meet them?"

Lisa made her way through the small town with ease. It was beautiful with all the christmas lights on the buildings and trees.

"My children are all girls. The oldest one is 7, her name is Alana, next is Joan, she is 5 and then there are the twins. Their names are Meagan and Allison, they are 2. Sure thing...if you can squeeze it into your schedule."

"Those names don't sound very German to me." Deeks said.

"They are not. I picked them up while I lived in America and they were just perfect."

Lisa pulled into a side street and parked the car. "Here we are. Did you guys have lunch yet?"

Deeks and Sophia shook their head.

"Alright, how about you get your room keys and I think about lunch options?"

The first thing she was aware of was a rhythmic beeping. The next thing was the smell. It smelled like hospital. Slowly she opened one eye but shut it immediately. Damn light!

She tried again and again until her eyes adjusted to the light. The first thing she did was check herself for any obvious injuries. The only thing she could find was a bandage on top of her head. She tried to remember what happened to her but came up emty.
Actually she couldn't remember anything.

Oh my god! I don't even know who I am!

She started to panic and never realized that she set off the alarm of the heart monitor. Moments later two nurses rushed into the room, trying to calm her down. Only when on of them mentioned a sedative did she realize that she needs to calm down. She wanted, needed answers and she can only get them when she is conscious.

Breath in, breath out, breath in, breath out...

Slowly she calmed down.

"That's better", said on of the nurses.

The other one checked another machine and then left the room. There were so many questions in Kensi's mind that she didn't know where to start. This is getting me nowhere, I gotta start somewhere.

"Where am I? I mean other than in a hospital."

"You're in Great Falls, Montana. My name is Tina Jackson and I'm your nurse."

She looked at Kensi expectantly. Kensi looked down at her hands in her lap.

"I..uh...I don't know my name. Actually I..uh.. don't know anything."

Uelzen is actually my hometown too. And if you are curious about all the places you could google them. The train station is called Hundertwasser Bahnhof Uelzen. And then you can just google pictures of the town. I've been living in the States for almost two years and I like it, but sometimes I really miss my hometown.

Have a merry christmas!
