It's Mother's Day and as I love my mom I decided to post a new chapter. Hope you all enjoy.
"Brittany do you know where Luna is?" Santana shouts.
"Isn't she with you?!" Brittany shouts back down from the attic.
"NO I can't find her. Oh god I lost our month and a half old daughter." Santana shouts tearing up.
"Baby don't worry we'll find her." Brittany says coming down and wrapping her arms around her mate.
"I don't understand how I lost her. I'm a horrible mother." Santana cries into her mate's shoulders.
"No you're not baby, you're a wonderful mother." Brittany whispers.
"I just don't understand how she seems to be accelerated in her growing. She's already crawling around, trying to walk and trying to speak. Wolf pups don't do that they grow like normal human babies and only when the change can they seem older than they are." Santana rambles as Brittany helps her re-search their daughter.
"Vampires the few times they decide to have babies with humans and now I guess werewolves, the babies grow to hit about the age of three in about three months after that their growing slows down to normal human speed." Brittany explains not surprised at all that their daughter is so developed.
"So it's your fault that our daughter is so developed." Santana says smiling at Brittany as grabs their daughter from under the couch in her wolf form.
Santana gasps as they turn around and in Luna's mouth is a bouquet of roses.
"Luna wants to say happy mother's day." Brittany says smiling at her mate.
"Oh baby girl thank you." Santana says taking the bouquet out of Luna's mouth, kissing the top of her head and smiling over her mate. "Happy mother's day to you too baby." she whispers staring at her mate.
"This day never used to mean anything to me, but now with our little one I know how special this day truly is." Brittany softly says.
"So while you were up in the attic doing whatever you were doing I made us a mother's day breakfast from little Luna." Santana says.
"Oh sweetie, you didn't have to do that." Brittany says kissing Luna's head.
They sit down and enjoy eating the food, well Santana and Luna enjoy eating the bacon and eggs Santana made, Brittany enjoys drinking the blood cereal her wonderful mate had made for her.
"Luna let's give your mother her gift now." Santana says standing up picking Luna up.
"Baby you didn't have to get me anything." Brittany says all smiles.
"Oh please I know you have a gift up in the attic for me." Santana says walking into the living room.
"What? Luna needed to get you a mother's day gift too." Brittany says pouting as she heads up to the attic to grip the gift.
They both sit down on the couch with large boxes for the other. Luna has shifted and run off somewhere.
"I can't wait till we get little handmade gifts from her." Santana says as they exchange gifts.
"What kind of things? We didn't have any little kids around and I never knew my parents so this is all new to me." Brittany says looking down at the ground.
The only reason she knows this is a big holiday is that she's been studying about holidays and raising babies. She doesn't want to mess up their daughter or her relationship with Santana now that they have a child.
"You'll love them; all kinds of cards, clay pottery and any other number of trinkets that she decides to make us." Santana happily says.
"Well what I got you is a lot more extravagant." Brittany softly says smiling at her mate.
"I'm sure I'll love it plus what I got you is similar." Santana says as the exchange presents.
They both open their gifts and laugh at the fact that they got each other the very similar things "from their daughter." Santana got Brittany a framed twenty by twenty picture of Brittany with their daughter fast asleep on her belly. Brittany got Santana a shadow box with the first onesie Luna wore, a pair of her little booties and a plaster of her little feet and hands.
"Britt,"
"San,"
"This is perfect." Brittany says setting the picture down and kissing Santana on the cheek.
"Nothing could be more perfect." Santana agrees staring at her shadow box.
"This has defiantly been the best mother's day ever." Brittany says leaning in to peck Santana on the lips.
"Britt this is the first mother's day we've had." Santana reminds her.
"I know, but that's why it's the best ever." Brittany says smiling.
"Where's Luna? I haven't seen or heard her since you put her down." Santana says getting up to search for their daughter.
"She can't have gone far." Brittany says unworried.
"I'm a horrible mom for losing her yet again." Santana says on the verge of tears.
"No you're not, she's just curious and likes to explore." Brittany says picking her up from behind the desk.
"Stop scaring me baby girl." Santana says sighing as Brittany hands her their daughter who's still in wolf form.
"Mama,"
