Hey everyone here's a little Easter piece, my next post will be on April Fool's Day.
It's been a long time either of them has been this close to their former home. With the kids being watched by the neighbor girl Santana finally convinced Brittany that they should go home for the day. At first Brittany had been against it as she didn't think it was safe for them. She finally agreed to go on Easter after much begging from Santana.
"I still don't think this is a good idea." Brittany says.
"Babe relax, I just want to see how everyone is." Santana says kissing her cheek.
"Fine, we'll stop by your parents first." Brittany says pulling into the town.
"I know this is hard for you baby, but thank you for doing this." Santana says as they pull up to the Lopez's house.
"Just remember that if anything goes wrong, I want you to run to the car." Brittany seriously says.
"Okay baby," Santana softly says snuggling into Brittany's side.
They walk up to the front door and Brittany knocks. It takes several minutes for someone to open the door, but finally Mario opens the door to see his daughter and that thing standing there.
"Get the fuck off of my property!" Mario shouts at them.
"Mario what are you shouting about?" Maria says walking out. "Oh what are you doing back here?" she growls.
"Come on San let's get out of here." Brittany whispers not liking the way they are looking at them.
"Dad, mom," Santana softly says wanting to have some kind of relationship with them.
"Get out of here and don't come back." Mario shouts stepping towards them.
Brittany wraps her arms around her mate pulling her back.
"Let's go San; we're obviously not wanted here." Brittany softly says.
They get back in the car and drive away; Brittany pulls over a few miles down the road and pulls her crying mate into her arms.
"I thought that they would have changed." Santana sobs into Brittany's chest.
"It doesn't matter anymore baby, you have a family back home that loves you we don't need them." Brittany softly says.
"But it still hurts." Santana sobs.
"I know, let's blow this town and go celebrate the rest of Easter by riding the horses." Brittany says knowing spending time with their kids will make her feel better.
"Okay that sounds good; what about you do you want to go see your old friends?" Santana asks.
"No I have no need to see them. I have all I need in you and the kids." Brittany says kissing her mate once more before she starts driving again.

"Momma I can't find the last blue egg!" Luna shouts.
"I'm sure your mom hid it in the kitchen." Brittany shouts at her daughter as she helps Ashley pick up eggs off of the living room floor.
"I did not, I'm positive I hid it in the laundry room." Santana shouts from the back yard where they hid eggs for Jake who's running around trying to find them hidden in the grass.
"I already checked there!" Luna shouts at her mom.
"Found it, it was in the crockpot!" Brittany shouts.
"Thank god we don't need a repeat of last year." Santana says coming back in with Jake.
"You'd think with four wolf noses that we would have found it before three weeks had gone by." Brittany chuckles.
"Can we go riding?" Luna asks.
"Of course we can." Santana says picking Jake up.
"You and Luna go riding I'll watch the two trouble makers here." Brittany says taking Jake from Santana.
"Speaking of trouble makers where's Ashely gotten off to?" Santana asks looking around for their youngest daughter.
"Asleep on the couch, apparently hunting for eggs is tiring." Brittany says. "Now go have some fun." she says knowing that her mate needs this after being rejected by her parents a second time this morning.
"Yeah come on momma," Luna says pulling on her arm.
"Okay, okay I'm coming."
