Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there.
Santana hides her head in Brittany's chest. It's two in the morning so the kids are sound asleep, but the two women aren't. Santana has been keeping herself composed when the kids are around, but falls apart every time she's alone or with just her mate. Her mom has been staying in town for the last month refusing to leave, but also hasn't come and apologized for everything. No she wants to see her grandkids and for Santana to just forget all the shit that's happened. Needless to say the last month has been horrible. On top of all of that today is Mother's Day.
"Why can't she just leave us alone?" Santana asks. "No one from your past comes to bother you." she pouts.
"Well all my family's long dead and my vampire family knows better than to bother me after everything they did." Brittany softly says running her fingers through Santana's hair. "But you were much closer to your family than I ever was. I think you should give her a chance. She's probably really scared to come here and talk to you after you freaked out on her when she showed up here."
"But-" Santana starts only to see the look on her mate's face. "Fine, we can go see her."
"I love you so much San." Brittany says kissing her gently on the lips.
"Yeah, well you'd better." Santana says smiling as she has a huge mother's day surprise for her mate.
"Oh and why is that." Brittany says wrapping her arms around her mate.
"Well I have an early mother's day gift for you." Santana says reaching over to pull open her nightstand.
She hands a small box to her mate and smiles as she watches her mate open it.
"San," Brittany gasps. "Are you really?" she asks.
"Yes baby, I'm pregnant with our fourth child." Santana happily says.
"Awe San this is the best mother's day present ever." Brittany says wrapping her up in even a tighter hug.
"I found out last week and it was hard not to tell you, but I wanted to surprise you." Santana says all smiles.
"Well I'm glad you did." Brittany says kissing her.

"HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!" Luna and Jake both shout jumping up on the bed.
"What a wonderful way to wake up." Brittany says lifting Jake and Luna up in the air.
"Awe my babies," Santana gushes as she sees a huge card propped at the end of the bed.
She leans down and picks it up, reading the card signed by all three kids.
"You three are so amazing." Brittany says picking a shifted Ashely up. "How about we go make mama some breakfast." she says.
"Yes!" Luna shouts jumping up.
Brittany places Ashely down on the ground to go chase after her older sister and brother who have run into the kitchen. Brittany gets up and pulls on some boxer shorts and a long t-shirt.
"You don't have make me breakfast." Santana says trying to get up.
"Nope, I'm making you breakfast and you're laying here in bed until we bring it in." Brittany says placing her hand on her mate's stomach and kisses her cheek. "I'm making you and our newest little breakfast no matter what. Just relax and let the kids make your mother's day wonderful."
"What about yours?" Santana asks pouting.
"My mother's day was made prefect by you telling me that we're having another little one." Brittany says all smiles.
After breakfast they lounge around for an hour before Brittany suggests that they go see Maria. At first Santana is completely against it, but her mate pouting at her changes her mind. That and Brittany promising to keep the kids in the car with her while Santana talks to her mom. She doesn't want the kids meeting her yet.

"Santana," Maria says opening the hotel door. "Come in, I'm so glad you came." she says holding the door open for her daughter.
"I only came because Brittany thinks it will be good for me to at least hear you out." Santana says walking in and standing in the middle of the room.
Maria closes the door and turns to stare at her daughter. This is the first time in years that she's really gotten to see her only child.
"Mija, you look so beautiful." Maria finally says.
Santana doesn't say anything she just stares at her mom.
"I know that I've messed up. That your father and myself we're horrible to you and Brittany even though we both knew that because of the imprint you'd always be connected to Brittany." Maria starts, biting her lip as she tries to hold back her tears. "When you told your father and me that you were pregnant with Brittany's child, we should have reacted better. I can't say that I changed my mind overnight, but when they made interspecies relations okay I started to change my point of view." she explains.
"I can't believe it took you that long." Santana says ready to leave now.
"It's hard to change years of training being told that vampires are evil." Maria tries to explain. "I've realized that I was wrong and since your father can't accept that I left him. I want a relationship with you and my grandbabies, that is if you're willing to give me a second chance."
Tears start falling down Santana's cheeks as she takes it all in. Her mother wants back in her life and it's up to her as to wither she gives her a chance or not.
"Mami," Santana says hugging her.
"This is the best mother's day gift ever." Maria whispers holding her daughter tightly to her.
