Sorry this is a day late, but I just got back home and realized I hadn't posted it. This is sadly the last chapter of this story. I hope you all have enjoyed this piece that was only supposed to be a one-shot and turned into this long piece.
"Do I have to leave?" Brittany whines.
"Yes, it's bad luck to see your bride before the wedding." Santana says pushing her out the door. "This is the one thing I asked for."
"Fine," Brittany grumbles.
"Thanks you and I love you." Santana says kissing her cheek. "Be back at midnight."
"You're lucky I love you so much." Brittany says picking Jake up as he's going with her to the hotel where she's getting ready before coming back just in time for the ceremony.
"Help your mama out." Santana tells their son.
"I get suit on." Jake happily says.
"Yes you get to wear a suit." Santana says waving to them as they leave.
"Mami!" Luna shouts.
"Honey just sit down." Maria tells her granddaughter.
"NO I want mami!" Luna shouts.
"Listen to your grandmother!" Santana shouts up picking up Ashley who for once isn't shifting. "Looks like you're the only one behaving for mami." she says carrying her upstairs.
"Mami," Ashley says smiling a two tooth smile.
"Yes I'm your mami." Santana says wondering when Ashley's going to get the rest of her teeth as she's almost two and should have the rest of them soon.
"Mami eeea," Ashley says causing Santana to smile.
"Yes mami will get you some food." Santana says turning back around and heading back downstairs.
"Honey I thought you were going to start getting ready?" Maria says when she sees her daughter walking back down.
"Ashley's hungry so I'm going to feed her." Santana says.
"Give her here, I'll feed her and you can go start getting ready." Maria orders her.
"But mami," Santana whines.
"Go I'll take care of the girls while you go pamper yourself. You're finally marrying your mate tonight." Maria says trying not to smile so much.
"Okay," Santana reluctantly says.
Santana walks up to her room and into the bathroom planning on taking a long bath before she has to start getting ready. As cool as she's trying to play this like it's no big deal it really is. She's beyond nervous that for some reason Brittany won't show up or that she'll decided halfway through the ceremony that she won't want to marry her anymore. These are feelings she's never felt before in her relationship, she's always been so sure of them.
"Calm down Santana, Brittany will be here." Santana tells herself.
Meanwhile in town Brittany has just checked into the hotel room that they will be staying in tonight before flying to Australia for their honeymoon tomorrow.
"Well Jake man here we are." Brittany says.
"Suit time?" Jake asks looking up at her.
"No not yet, let's get you bathed first." Brittany says picking him and running into the bathroom.
"You take bath too?" Jake asks stripping his own clothes off.
"No little man I'm going to take a shower." Brittany says turning on the water.
"I take shower too?" Jake asks.
"You don't like showers." Brittany reminds him.
"But I want be big boy." Jake whines.
"Fine you can take a shower with me." Brittany says turning off the water and closing the shower curtain.
She turns the shower on and turns the water down way less hot than she normally likes it, but doesn't want to burn him.
"Okay little man just stand in front of me okay." Brittany says having striped her own clothes off now.
Thankfully it wasn't that difficult for her to shower him and clean herself off as well. It was much easier than she thought it would be.
"We have to look our best for tonight." Brittany says applying some light makeup.
"I put on?" Jake asks pointing at the makeup bag.
"No little man, this is only for girls." Brittany says. "But we should put on your suit now. We only have an hour now before we have to head home so I can marry mami." she says.
"Mami marry mama." Jake happily says.
"That's right I'm marrying your mami." Brittany says smiling like a fool.
She's so excited to finally be marrying her mate. She honestly never thought this day would come as for the longest time it was illegal. In her mind they've been "married" in the human sense since she found out that her mate was pregnant with their first child.
"Mama," Jake says tugging on her leg.
Shaking her head she looks down at her son. "Yes little man."
"We get dressed?" Jake asks as his mom has been staring ahead smiling for several minutes.
"Yes sorry little man." Brittany says helping him get in his pants.
It takes them awhile to get dressed and make sure that they look amazing which includes finally putting in a little gel in Jake's hair which makes him very happy he's always wanted gel in his hair.
"We ready?" Jake asks looking very dapper in his all black suit.
"Yes we are." Brittany says picking him up.
Back at home Santana is finally dressed and ready to get the show on the road.
"Mami," Luna says coming in with Maria who is holding Ashley. "You look pretty."
"Thank you sweetie," Santana says smiling at her oldest daughter. "You look very beautiful too."
"Thanks," Luna says blushing.
"Is she back yet?" Santana asks as it's now dark outside.
"Yes she's waiting for you." Maria says. "Come on Luna let's go out and wait for your mom to come down."
"You're marrying mama." Luna says smiling.
"Mama," Ashely adds in.
"I know, it's very exciting." Santana says her smile growing.
"When you hear the music come down." Maria says winking at her daughter.
"Who's marrying them?" Luna asks her grandma as they head downstairs.
"Your mama, it's a vampire and they have some different traditions." Maria says. "That's why this wedding has to take place on Halloween." she adds in.
"Mama got me a bag of candy." Luna says smiling.
"Of course she bribed you." Maria says shaking her head.
She had wondered why her granddaughter hadn't made a huge fuss over the fact that she didn't get to go trick or treating.
"Is she ready?" Brittany asks when Maria comes down.
"Yes," Maria says setting Ashely in between Jake and Luna who are sitting right in front of Brittany.
"Good then start the music." Brittany says taking a deep breath.
As soon as the music starts it hits Brittany that this is actually happening that she's marrying the love of her life. Though when she sees Santana walk through the door she gasps, her mate has never looked more beautiful in her eyes. Santana practically sprints down their makeshift aisle right into Brittany's waiting arms.
"You look so beautiful." Brittany whispers taking her hands and moving them to stand in front of their kids and Maria.
"Britt," Santana blushes.
"Okay are you ready?" Brittany asks.
"Yes," Santana says staring into her mate's eyes.
"Santana Lopez, you have been my mate for years and right now we are finally going to be married in the human sense. You have no idea how much I love you, since the first time I ran into you in the woods all those years ago when you imprinted on me I have loved you. You have made my dull life worth living. Since I met you I have found myself wanting to give you the world. Together we have three wonderful kids that I can't thank you enough for. I promise that I will love you until the day I cease to exist." Brittany says taking her hands and kissing the knuckles.
"Brittany Pierce you have made me the happiest woman in the world. When I first met you I was nervous that you would try to deny our bond after I imprinted on you. You've been the best thing to ever happen to me and I wouldn't change a single thing that has happened. No one could have taken better care of me than you and I will always be grateful for all that you have done for our family. I hope that I have made you as happy and loved as you have made me. I love you so much and I can't wait to be married to you and call you my wife." Santana says.
"I'm going to bite your wrist and you need to bite mine." Brittany whispers.
"Okay," Santana says as they're getting married in the vampire way.
Maria watches fascinated with how different and yet similar a vampire wedding is to human/werewolf weddings are. She's a little turned off by the biting, but vampires do live on blood.
"Do you take me to be your wife Santana?" Brittany asks.
"Yes," Santana says. "Do you take me to be your wife Brittany?" she asks after Brittany whispers it to her.
"I do," Brittany says pulling her into a kiss mixing their blood.
"We're married now?" Santana softly asks.
"We're married," Brittany says smiling.
The couple is tackled by their three kids. Ashley at this point has shifting and is licking her parents faces.
"Mami and mama married now." Luna happily says.
"MARRIED, MARRIED, MARRIED!" Jake shouts jumping up and down.
"I love you so much San." Brittany says kissing her. "I can't believe it's been ten years since you imprinted on me."
"I know babe and we're just getting started." Santana happily says.
