THE FOUR AMYS PART 2

Young Amelia Pond had waited outside her house for the Doctor to return for her for what had seemed like an eternity. It had seemed like centuries but had probably only been a few hours. Technically it was the next day already since it was long past midnight even though it was still the same night.

Eventually she had fallen asleep on top of her suitcase still waiting. She would stay out there all night without ever seeing the Doctor again since in this now changed timeline Amy and Rory were never lost in Manhattan. At least that's the way that this night originally went.

This time around though, things would turn out to be very, very different.

As Amelia slept, Angel Bob slowly crept toward her as he smiled in anticipation. In just a matter of moments, she would be sent back into the distant past forever. It would create a permanent fixed point in time that no one could undo and not only rid him of Amy Pond but also give him enough energy to fully regenerate him back to his full form and strength instantaneously.

Overcome by a lust for both power and revenge, he finally abandoned all caution and rushed forward to touch Amelia only to be instantly knocked on his back by four fists slamming into his face at once!

He looked up to see the four Amys standing over him with their eyes closed and furious looks on their faces. Before he could even attempt to defend himself, he was punched yet again. Somehow they were all fighting him without looking at him.

Amy kept coordinating the attacks of the other versions of her through the newly created telepathic network that she had created among them even as she used her ears to detect where Angel Bob was at all times. Detecting the presence of an enemy without looking at them, even a silent one, was something that her old mentor K'anpo Rimpoche had taught her a long time ago back on Gallifrey. It was good to see that she hadn't gotten rusty.

Angel Bob almost screamed in frustration as his every attempt to get up was met by yet another silent and brutal attack. No matter what he tried to do, the Amys instantly stopped him.

He could now see that he was getting nowhere this way. It was a good thing that he had brought back-up then, wasn't it?

The four Amys were immediately ambushed as the War Lords silently appeared behind them and started firing on them with their guns. The four of them ran in terror as enemy fire suddenly started flying around them everywhere.

Little Amelia woke up and screamed in terror as she hid behind her suitcase for protection. She screamed again as a pair of hands grabbed her and picked her and her suitcase up.

"It's okay. I won't hurt you. I'm here to keep you safe," Rory said.

Amelia looked at Rory's eyes for a moment and then smiled. He had a kind look to his eyes, and she felt as though she could trust him. She instantly relaxed in his arms and let him take her out of the line of fire to safety.

Angel Bob cursed his inability to move with so many eyes now upon him while Rory got away with the young Amy. He knew that it was necessary though. If he had remained in the situation that he was in before for much longer, Amy would have quickly found a way to destroy him.

Rory brought Amelia to where Brian and Julia were waiting nearby. Amelia stared at Brian for a moment and then silently shook her head. Rory could see that she had thought that he might be Brian at first but had decided against it because he was so much older than the version of him that she knew.

"Hello, Amelia. You're going to stay here with us for a while. We'll keep you safe, alright?" Brian said.

"Okay. How do you know my name though?" Amelia asked curiously.

"I'm a friend of your parents," Brian said which was true enough.

"Oh. What's happening? Why are they all fighting for?" Amelia asked in an amazingly calm voice like she saw this sort of thing every day.

"They're here to hurt you, but we won't let them," Rory said.

"Thank you. You know you're pretty handsome even if you do have kind of a stupid look on your face sometimes. You remind me of my friend, Rory. I hope he looks as handsome as you when he grows up," Amelia said grinning at him.

Rory tried not to laugh as he realized that Amelia had a childish crush on him. Even at this age, she was already a flirt.

Amelia turned to look at Julia and asked, "Are they protecting you too?"

"More like I'm here to help protect you, M- Amelia," Julia said.

"You must be a lot tougher than you look then or maybe you're just good at hiding how terrified you are like I am," Amelia said.

"It's okay, Amelia. You're safe. I'd never let anything happen to you," Julia promised her as she put her arms around her protectively.

Amelia started to protest at first as this strange girl held her, but then she realized that it felt right to her somehow. It was almost as if she knew her or would know her as strange as that sounded. She felt completely safe with her and for the first time since she had woken up she relaxed and didn't feel afraid anymore. In fact, as Julia stroked her hair and kissed her forehead she felt calm and at peace as if she were with a trusted family member. She couldn't explain it, but that was the way that she felt.

Rory and Brian both looked on in astonishment as Julia and Amelia had reversed their usual roles, and the twelve year old had become a temporary mother to the other little girl.

The four of them watched as the four Amys, Selene, Sirona, and Oswin fought with the War Lords while Angel Bob remained frozen on the ground still lying on his back. As if having to battle the War Lords wasn't bad enough, then they were attacked by yet another enemy, the Cybermen.

Oswin wasn't too surprised to see them arrive even though everyone else was shocked. She had felt their presence behind the whole thing. In fact, she had felt their presence behind every attack on Amy for a long time now. They were as terrified by Amy as Oswin's Daleks were of Rose if not more so. Which was interesting since Cybermen weren't supposed to feel fear. She didn't know how else to describe their obsession with killing Amy Pond though.

"I have Cybermen, Angels, and the War Lords out to kill me?!" Amy said in disbelief even as she punched a War Lord in the jaw.

"You're just as bad as the Doctor. Who knew I had it in me to be such a troublemaker?" the parallel Amy said with pride.

"You haven't seen anything. She's been in trouble since she was a child. She and the Doctor used to get into trouble all the time together even when they were Time Tots," Karen admitted as she karate kicked a Cyberman and sent him hurtling into several other ones knocking them all down like bowling pins.

"You knew the Doctor when he was a child? What was he like? Come on! Tell me!" the parallel Amy said as she quickly ducked the attacks of two Cybermen, and they shot each other instead of her.

"Who cares? I just want to get home and be with my Rory!" Pete's World Amy screamed.

Then she proceeded to knock out half a dozen War Lords at once as she rushed headfirst into them and started flailing away at them. All the while she continued to scream in anguish. The War Lords all started to run from her in terror after a few more displays of anger like that from her.

"I am so glad that it's not me for once. Those poor War Lords. I almost feel sorry for them," Selene said as she demolished several Cybermen with several well-placed chops to their joints that sent their arms and legs falling off.

"Same here. It's so nice to not be on the receiving end of Mum's wrath for once even if that particular version of her isn't exactly my Mum. It's so funny to watch someone else get it despite how serious all of this is," Sirona said laughing as she easily evaded the attacks of several War Lords before picking up one of their guns and mowing down several of them with it while it was on its stun setting.

"Apparently River's not the only one who's good with a gun in our family," Julia said in disbelief from where she watched the whole battle. She had no idea that Sirona could do that.

"Who is that?" Amelia asked in awe.

"That's my sister," Julia said as she smiled at her future mother.

"She's amazing. Do you think you could introduce me to her?" Amelia asked.

"I promise that you'll definitely get to meet her one day," Julia said laughing.

"Cool," Amelia said happily.

Rory shook his head at her. She had just said cool. Even then the Doctor had been rubbing off on her.

Somehow the four Amys, Sirona, Selene, and Oswin managed to completely demolish the army of War Lords and Cybermen in almost no time at all. Amy almost began to dare to hope that the danger was over with when she realized with a sinking feeling in her stomach that Angel Bob was now gone.

Then she saw him directly behind Julia and her younger self!

"Selene, Julia's in danger. Look!" Amy shouted as she kept her eyes on Bob the entire time and didn't blink.

"Jules, look behind you!" Selene screamed in terror.

Julia turned to see Angel Bob with his hands just inches away from her neck. She continued to stare at him without blinking while she slowly moved away from him and held onto Amelia tightly.

"Well, that's not fair, is it? All of you against one poor little Angel. Let's make things more even, shall we?" the War Lord herself said as she suddenly teleported next to Angel Bob.

She used her power to suddenly fill the entire area with dark clouds of smoke that she conjured up out of nowhere so that no one could see. Angel Bob smiled as now no one could stop him from doing what he had come here to do.

"Everyone just stay calm and keep quiet. Listen for the sounds of footsteps. He still makes noise just like everyone else does," Amy advised.

"Mum, I'm scared," Julia admitted.

"It's going to be okay. Just stay quiet and I'll find you. I promise," Amy said as she tried to keep any trace of fear out of her voice.

Amy closed her eyes again and reestablished her telepathic link to the other Amys. Then the four of them slowly moved forward as Amy tried to find Julia and her younger self before Angel Bob did.

Angel Bob meanwhile was slowly closing in on Julia who he could see perfectly even in the dark. He was walking as slowly as he could though so as not to alert Julia that he was coming. He didn't want her to run or any of the Amys to find him.

Bob smiled as he could see Julia shaking in fear. He was going to enjoy this. He would send Amy's daughter back with her. They could grow up together. It almost made him laugh to think of Julia raising Amelia instead of the other way around in this new life that he would create for them. It would be a life where Amy Pond would never exist, and Cliodna would never be reborn.

Then he realized too late that he had been so busy thinking of what he was going to do that he had taken his eyes off of the Amys. He soon found out what a huge mistake that was when he was attacked by all four Amys at once as they suddenly found him at last. They all knocked him onto his back yet again, but this time he didn't let them keep him down. He quickly slipped away from them at lightning speed.

He almost cried out in triumph as he grabbed Julia by the neck causing her to scream in terror. Now he just had to grab Amelia, and his revenge would be complete. Amelia panicked and started to run away from him, but he was right next to her still holding onto Julia before she could get more than a few feet away.

That was when he was pounced upon by someone from behind him who he couldn't see. He was mercilessly attacked by them, and they continued to attack him with lighting fast speed that surprised even him. He knew right away that it must be Amy. She had finally found him at last, and she was relentlessly punishing him for daring to touch her daughter.

He had never felt such pain in his life as his every joint was attacked by lightning fast chops especially the arm that was holding Julia. He screamed in agony as that arm was suddenly broken, and Julia ran away from him with his arm still holding onto her.

Julia quickly pulled the arm off of her and threw it away. That was when his attacker picked it up and started pummeling him with it. He finally saw who it was as she used his own arm to slap him across the face.

To his complete shock, it wasn't Amy at all. It was her sister, Selene.

"You might have lived if you hadn't touched her. No one hurts my sister!" Selene screamed as she continued to attack Bob without mercy.

She quickly broke off his other arm and then destroyed both of his legs. Bob cried out in despair. He couldn't believe that he was being beaten by Cliodna's sister. He never would have thought that she was the more dangerous of the two.

"Everyone always underestimates me, and I'm usually okay with that. Let Amy get all the praise and the fame. I'm always content to hang back and let her fight the big guns. This time though you crossed the line, and you almost took both of my sisters away from me. That means that you answer to me. You threatened both of my sisters! No one gets away with that!" Selene screamed in anger as she finally broke Bob's head off with a single blow.

Bob screamed one final time before he died. The last sight that he saw was the triumphant grin of Selene as she held his head in her hands.

"Do you see that, Belle? That's what happens when you mess with my family. Don't mess around with little sister if you want to live," Selene said to the War Lord.

Then the cloud suddenly faded, and the War Lord stood there looking at Selene in shock. That shock quickly turned to the look of a hungry tiger eyeing its prey.

She eagerly thought about how powerful her armies would be if she had Selene leading them. Maybe today that could become a reality. She moved forward with her hands glowing as she prepared to enslave Selene's mind.

Those thoughts were all quickly interrupted as the four Amys both attacked the War Lord at once. She soon found that even she was overwhelmed by the fighting prowess of all of them combined. As soon as one Amy punched her, so did another one and so on so that she was constantly reeling from their attacks as she attempted futilely to fight back against them.

If she had been the original Jenny with years of combat experience under her belt instead of her inexperienced clone, the Amys wouldn't have stood a chance. As it was though, Belle was much more susceptible to their attacks and quickly fell before them.

As she struggled to escape from the iron grip of four Amys at once, she soon realized that she was finished unless she could get away from them now. She couldn't allow herself to be caught this way. They would try to cure her or worse yet put her away somewhere forever. That made her desperate enough to try anything in order to get free. Even lose one of her lives.

The War Lord began voluntarily regenerating immediately, and all four Amys were flung away from her at once as massive bursts of energy flew out of her head and hands. Even as she continued to regenerate, she teleported away to safety before anyone else could capture her. This time she would remake herself into someone completely different. She would be someone who was much stronger and who would never fail like this again. The last traces of Belle were then swept away forever. She was only the War Lord now.

"She's gone. Little Amelia should be safe now. Wait a minute. Where is Amelia?" Oswin asked in alarm.

"It's okay. She's over here with me," Julia called out.

The two of them came out of Amelia's house waving at them. Julia had grabbed Amelia's hand and taken her inside the house at the first opportunity.

Amy smiled at her and how quickly she thought on her feet. She was also glad to see how fast her younger self had taken to Julia. Amelia was holding Julia's hand tightly, and she knew herself well enough to know that her younger self already thought of her as a trusted friend.

She hated to have to take that away from herself since she hadn't had that many friends growing up, but she knew that she had to. She couldn't be allowed to remember this night. She wondered though if maybe part of her did and that was part of the reason why she had adopted Julia without hesitation.

Selene erased Amelia's memories of this night and then quickly put the little girl to bed and laid her suitcase alongside her. Amy, of course, couldn't touch her without destroying a good chunk of the universe.

"Now that that's over with, I'll send the rest of you Amys home. I knew that the four of you together would be able to handle it. Although it seems that I should have gotten three more Selenes too. Now that combination would have been really unstoppable," Oswin said grinning.

"That would have been horrifying," Julia said laughing.

"Shut up, Jules," Selene said in an angry tone but her tender kiss to Julia's forehead showed that she was in no way mad at her and that it was all just an act.

Amy realized now just how much her sister had changed since she had been on Earth as Amy Pond. She had become much more violent and dangerous than she had ever used to be before when she was angered which had completely surprised her. Her utter annihilation of Angel Bob had shocked Amy as much as it had everyone else. One thing didn't surprise her though. Her sister, no matter how much she tried to deny it, still had kind hearts deep down.

"Well, I guess it's time to say goodbye," Amy said to the other hers.

"I can't wait to go back. I just hope that Rory hasn't already changed his mind," Pete's World Amy said in alarm.

"Don't worry. He won't even know that you've gone," Oswin reassured her.

She quickly sent her back with a snap of her fingers. Pete's World Amy reappeared just as her Rory pulled out a huge ring. She instantly said, "Yes! Yes! Yes!"

"I never even asked the question yet," Her Rory said perplexed.

"I already know what it is and of course I'll marry you," Pete's World Amy said with excitement as she grabbed the ring.

"Are you sure? I know I'm not worthy of you. You could do so much better than me," Her Rory said looking down on the ground.

Pete's World Amy's only response was to silently pick his head up and kiss him as she slipped his ring on her finger. When she finally pulled away, he had a huge silly grin on his face that wouldn't go away for days afterwards.

Oswin smiled as she silently watched this. Then she said to the alternate Amy, "Now it's time for you to go home. You'll get back right after you left too."

"Good. Before I go though, I just want to say that it was really nice meeting you. I'm so glad that at least in one reality that the Angels didn't get us. Believe me when I say that you wouldn't have wanted to end up like I was in the end when Rory went first. I wouldn't wish that on anyone and certainly not myself. Goodbye, Amy," the alternate Amy said.

As she went back home, Amy began to look very upset. She knew that she hadn't intended it, but the other Amy had just made her think about what would happen to her when Rory died someday. She would have to spend the rest of her long life alone without him. Unless . . .

"Now it's finally time for you to go home. I'll send you back so quick that your guards won't even miss you," Oswin assured Karen.

"That's fine by me. I don't want to have to answer the High Council's questions about where I've been for two days. You'd think that I was a child the way that they act. Goodbye, Amy," Karen said.

Then she paused as she noticed the look on Amy's face.

"Are you alright?" Karen asked with concern.

Amy quickly put a smile on her face as she said, "I'm fine. I was worried about something for a minute, but I'm not anymore because I have a solution now. I just hope that it all works out."

"So do I whatever it is. Goodbye, Amy," Karen said uncertainly as Oswin sent her back home.

"Now I'll send all of you back to your own time before I get rid of what's left of our friend Bob and send the Cybermen and the War Lords back to where they came from. Are you ready?" Oswin asked.

"Now yet. I have something to ask you first. Something that I want you to ask Rose about," Amy said.

She whispered in Oswin's ear and Oswin said in surprise, "How did you know about that?"

"I know Rose Tyler better than almost anyone. I always know whatever she's up to no matter how secret she tries to keep it. I even know about it when she stubs her toe, Oswin. Just tell her to contact me soon. I need to talk to her about this right away," Amy said.

As Oswin sent her and her family back to their own time, Amy now knew that she had a very hard question to ask Rory. She wasn't sure how he was going to respond and that scared her.

She was going to ask him if he wanted to be a Time Lord.

Next: Rose guest stars as Amy asks Rory the life changing question above. What will his answer be?
