Padme watched as they rushed Anakin out of the room as she turned an angry glare on Fey'lya. She was almost too angry to speak, what he did was inexcusable. She glanced towards Mon who looked equally angry and it was a rare instance seeing her friend angry. "I have no words to this."

"I do," Mon spoke up as Leia watched with intense interest. "Fey'lya, due to your stunt you will no longer be allowed to vote. You're dismissed from the meeting and I hope you think long and hard on your actions. I really should be bringing you up on charges of abuse. Senator Amidala will be casting your vote in your place. Consider this your punishment for the stunt."

Fey'lya didn't say another word as he stood up and quietly left the room. Leia leaned over and whispered. "So much for conflict of interest."

"Padme, you will take his place in voting or Leia may," Mon Mothma addressed both with a small smile. "You two may discuss who will cast the vote. It seems only fair after the way General Skywalker was suddenly treated before the vote took place."

"Padme, father needs you now," Leia spoke up with a frown. "You should go to him. I'll stay and cast the vote."

"Let me know what they decide," Padme answered as she started to leave the room.

"Senator Amidala, that won't be necessary," Madine spoke up causing her to pause and turn her attention to him with a frown. "After what Fey'lya did to him. It's the least we can do is offer General Skywalker a pardon in exchange for information."

"All in favor?" Mon questioned as everyone raised his or her hand. "All oppose?" No one raised his or her hand causing Padme to feel relief wash through her. "Vote is anonymous, in exchange for information we will offer a pardon to Anakin Skywalker excusing him from his war crimes. Any new crimes he commits after this he will be held accountable for. Leia, you should go with your mother and deliver the news to your father."

Leia nodded as she walked to Padme's side as they rushed out of the room and headed towards the med ward where they took Anakin too. Padme held her breath hoping against hope that Anakin wasn't too angry. She didn't want to see him lose it over this or get the wrong impression of what the Alliance was really about.

Padme and Leia entered the med ward as a medic walked out of a room with a frown. She approached the medic as he raised an eyebrow. "I'm Padme Amidala. We're wondering if we can speak with Anakin Skywalker?"

"At the moment, no," the medic answered as he eyed Leia with a neutral expression. "How do you know the patient? We're being cautious on who talks to him and who doesn't due to who he is."

"I can understand the concern," Padme agreed with a small smile. "I'm Anakin's wife and this our daughter Leia. Our son Luke is somewhere on the ship who should be here in a few minutes."

"We already knew about Luke due to last names," the medic explained as he glanced at Padme disbelievingly. "You're his wife?"

Padme nodded. "I didn't take on his last name at the time due to having to keep the relationship a secret. Being a senator and a Jedi, would've been frowned on at the time."

"Prove it," the medic challenged with a tight smile. "What evidence do you have?"

Padme pulled out the chain around her neck that had the snippet on it along with the ring. "Anakin was nine when I met him and he made me this to remember him by. And this is my wedding ring."

Luke entered the med ward as the medic turned his attention to Luke. "Luke, is this woman telling the truth? Is she your mother?"

"She is my mother and Leia is my sister," Luke answered with a frown as Padme tucked the ring back under her shirt.

"I'm going to have to ask you to keep it to one at a time. He's still recovering from the shock of lack of oxygen to his lungs. It was smart to breathe into his lungs, it most likely saved his life," the medic explained as he turned his attention to Leia and Padme.

"Mom, you can go in first," Luke said with a frown as Leia nodded in agreement. "How did the vote go?"

"They're going to offer Anakin a pardon in exchange for information," Leia answered with a smile. "It's okay, Padme you can go in first."

Padme gave a weary smile as she entered the room the medic indicated. She closed the door behind her and turned the lights down low. She stepped in beside the bed and rested her hand against his cheek. She knew Fey'lya would've been the hard one to win over. His actions spoke louder then words. Anakin's eyes fluttered open as his head turned in her direction. "How are you feeling, Ani?"

"A little better," Anakin answered honestly with a worried expression. "How did the vote go?"

"Good," Padme answered. "Fey'lya wasn't allowed to vote and Leia voted in his place. I'm so sorry he had you treated like he did. They're going to offer you a pardon in exchange for information."

"It was the furball's idea?" Anakin muttered under his breath. "I think I know why."

Padme raised an eyebrow as Anakin turned his head away from her as she rested her hand on his forehead. "Anakin? What is it?"

"It's better if I don't say, but at some point we're going to have to talk," Anakin answered as he looked at Padme again. "I didn't want you to see me like this."

"It's all right, Ani," Padme whispered as she gently rubbed his forehead a bit. She leaned over and gently kissed him on the forehead. "Did you want to see Luke or Leia?"

"All three of you," Anakin requested as Padme closed her eyes and shook her head. "Padme? What is it?"

"The medic is only allowing one person in at a time," Padme explained as she took his hand into hers. "He felt it was best considering how you were treated."

"I want to see all three of you together," Anakin requested a second time. "Please?'

"Let me go talk to the medic," Padme whispered as she released his hand. "I'll be back,"

Anakin closed his eyes as she walked out of the room as the medic looked up with a frown. "Anakin wants to see all three of us at once."

"Keep it brief, Anakin needs his rest. You have ten minutes," the medic answered as Leia and Luke followed Padme back into the room.

Anakin sat up in bed as they approached the bed. He stood up and stumbled towards them as Luke stepped towards him and held up Anakin's arm offering support. Padme moved to his other side as Leia stepped in beside her. He wrapped his arms around all three. She closed her eyes as she wrapped her arms around Leia and Luke as they fell into a group hug. The Skywalker family was finally reunited as one.

Anakin held his family in his arms. He couldn't be any happier then he was now. He still felt a little dizzy as he felt his knees give a bit causing Padme to glance up with a concerned expression. Leia and Luke moved under him as Padme broke away. They helped him back to the bed as the medic walked in shooting him a disapproval frown. He sat down as Padme moved to his side and sat down beside him leaning into him. He wrapped an arm around her shoulders resting his head on top of hers. Force how he missed her.

"Your ten minutes is up and you shouldn't be standing, Anakin," the medic lectured as he watched the family. "I get it. You're thrilled you have your family back and wanted to hug all three at once. You still need to rest."

Anakin gave a weary smile as Leia kissed him on the forehead and hugged both. "I'll be back later to check on you," she whispered as Luke hugged him as well. The twins walked out the door as Padme groaned at having to leave his side again.

"I honestly don't want to move," Padme whispered as Anakin nodded in agreement. "How does one make up for twenty years of abstinence?"

"Get me into that clone body and we can attempt it," Anakin whispered in Padme's ear causing her to giggle. The medic shook his head and gave a frustrated sigh. "The kids have already left the room."

"Ani, not now. You need rest," Padme was quick to remind him with a frown.

The medic looked from one to the other and gave a frustrated sigh. "Ten more minutes but I want you resting after that. If you refuse I will order to have you sedated," the medic walked out of the room closing the door behind him.

"Well that was kind of huffy," Anakin joked as he closed his eyes. Padme didn't respond as he glanced down and noticed she was fast asleep against him. And looks like twenty years of not sleeping well finally caught up with her. Maybe she didn't sleep well since he hurt her. He knew he didn't and suddenly felt tired himself.

Keiran walked back into Anakin's room as he looked towards the bed. "Padme, your ten minutes is up. I'm going to have to ask you to leave for….." he stopped speaking as he saw Anakin and Padme fast asleep leaning against each other. Years of not being with each other most likely had some odd exhausted effect on them.

Amilia walked in as he stopped her. "Wow, I never would've guessed," she whispered as Keiran nodded in agreement. "It must be from a mental exhaustion from being away from each other for so long."

"Bring up that double bed and get a few others to help, we're going to move both onto that bed," Keiran ordered as the nurse left the room. He had a funny feeling that Padme needed just as much rest as Anakin did.

Twenty minutes later they had Anakin and Padme lying down beside each other. Neither woke while they moved them and he checked their pulses to make sure they were still alive. It seemed to be extreme exhaustion. Anakin subconsciously wrapped his arms around Padme's waist as she responded by shifting deeper into his arms. He had doubts about them being husband and wife earlier but their responses to each other just now confirmed they were a married couple.

The group silently left the room as he closed the door behind him. He went about his duties attending to the other patients.

Anakin slowly blinked his eyes open, the blurriness of several hours of sleep slowly cleared his eyes with a few blinks. He turned his attention to the side and noticed Leia was watching him with intense interest. He felt some extra weight leaning against him as he turned his attention to the other side of him and noticed Padme was fast asleep in his arms.

Anakin turned his attention back to Leia noting they were on a larger bed. He wondered if the medics moved them at some point? Keiran wanted him resting so he rested. "How long have we been asleep for?"

"According to the medic, fifteen hours," Leia answered honestly as Anakin raised an eyebrow. "How are you feeling?"

"Better," Anakin answered honestly as he felt Padme shift more. She must be slowly beginning to wake up now that he was moving more. She turned around to face him and he smiled as she smiled at him. "Hi."

"Hi," Padme whispered as she gently kissed him on the forehead not realizing yet they had an audience. "Last night was fantastic, you still have the moves."

"I did not need to hear that," Leia moaned as Anakin smirked.

"You knew she was there, didn't you?" Anakin questioned as Padme nodded as she snuggled in closer to him.

"We have some odd years of horrifying them to make up for," Padme whispered back causing Anakin to give a mischief grin. "Have to start somewhere."

"Let's make the arrangements to get me into that clone body and we can see what making up for twenty years of abstinence is like," Anakin smirked as he heard further groaning from Leia. Padme was right. This was fun.

"When were we moved onto this bed?" Padme questioned as Leia raised an eyebrow. "Nothing happened. We just fell asleep against each other, Leia."

"I don't remember," Anakin answered with a frown. "There's a good chance we were both dead to the galaxy when they moved us. According to Leia, that was fifteen hours ago."

"It's been that long?" Padme questioned as she stared into Anakin's eyes. "No wonder I feel rested and starving," she muttered under her breath as the medic walked in with a frown.

"I see you're both finally awake, we were beginning to wonder," Keiran spoke causing both to look up with a frown. "Padme and Leia, would you mind waiting outside as I look Anakin over to see where he is now?"

"Sure," Padme sat up and slid off the bed and followed Leia out of the room.

Anakin sat up and watched Keiran and the nurse begin to bring a few things in. "Have you come to poke and prod me?"

"Good guess," Keiran answered with a frown. "Nurse, order in some blood work looking for infections. According to Anakin's personal medic he's been susceptible since the accident. Check his blood pressure then we'll go from there."

Anakin leaned back with a frown. The more he thought about it, attempting the switch to the Clone body didn't seem like a bad idea now. He planned to talk to Padme about it more seriously after they were done with him.

Leia watched as Padme started eating more food then she gave her mother credit for. She didn't think Padme was capable of this much food at once. "Are you all right?" She knew stress could cause a person to eat or not eat.

"Fine," Padme answered as she finished polishing off what seemed like her third bowl of porridge and third blue fruit. She sat back with a small smile and closed her eyes. "I finally have my Ani back."

Leia raised an eyebrow realizing that Padme was feeling better since Anakin returned to the light side. She prayed Anakin stayed in the light, she didn't think Padme's heart could take it being broken a second time. "I'm guessing you're starting to feel better? Heal even?"

Padme nodded as she patted Leia on the hands. "I'm beginning to heal," she agreed. "I know your father well enough to know, he won't allow Palpatine come between us again," she stood up and stretched as Leia felt someone hug her from behind. She took a deep whiff noting it was Han's scent she smelled. "I'll see you two later. I'm going to check on him."

Padme left as Han sat down beside Leia as she leaned into him. "For Padme's sake, I hope Anakin doesn't fall to the dark side again. I don't think her heart can take it a second time around."

"I have a feeling he'll stay in the light side," Han reassured Leia with a smile. "As for you, Princess. I have a question to ask."

"What's that?" Leia questioned as Han nuzzled the back of her neck.

"Would you like to have dinner with me tonight?" Han questioned as Leia leaned up and kissed him on the lips. "I take that as a yes?"

"Yes," Leia answered with a smile. "I'll see you tonight at what time?"

"Six, my cabin," Han answered with a roguish grin. "I have some things to get done by tonight. I don't care what you wear, just as long as you're there."

Leia smiled in appreciation as Han kissed her on the lips then walked out of the mess hall. He had something planned for them tonight and it made her happy to think, he loved her that much. She looked at the food in front of her and started to eat. Han was sweet and she loved him for it.
