Authors note: This post is sort of geared towards Halloween and pranking. Enjoy :)

Padme felt someone shake her shoulder as she blinked her eyes open sleepily and glanced to the side. The nurse was watching her with concern as she straightened herself in the chair. She glanced at the chrono noting it was nine in the morning, Coruscant time. She glanced at the bed as Anakin watched her with a frown. "I guess I fell asleep. How are you feeling?"

"Somewhat better," Anakin answered honestly. "Did you sleep the rest of the night in the chair?"

"I guess I did," Padme answered honestly. "It's a good thing it has a high back. How long has it been since…"

"More than three hours I think," Anakin answered as he watched her with concern. "The symptoms seem to have finally subsided. I still feel like sleeping more."

"You should," Padme encouraged as she rested her hand on his forehead. "Your temperature feels normal again and you don't look quite so pale anymore. I'm curious, how did you come into contact with this flu bug? It makes no sense considering you're on a respirator."

"You won't like the answer," Anakin answered with a frown as Padme raised an eyebrow. "You know how Fey'lya had me stripped?" Padme nodded. "He had someone infected spit in my mouth."

Padme was speechless as she watched Anakin. Normally these bugs are picked up through direct contact with bodily fluids and Anakin's condition being on a respirator. It didn't make sense how he got it until now. Fress had planned to get revenge against the Bothan after she reviewed the holo recording. Padme had talked the young woman out of it but now she was wondering if she should let Fress just go through with it. "Anakin, what exactly do you know that Fey'lya doesn't want anyone else to know?"

Anakin remained silent as he chewed on his lower lip. "If the galaxy finds out, the war with the Empire would be the least of our worries."

"Caamasi?" Padme whispered feeling shocked. "Were the Bothans involved with bringing down the shields?"

"Yes," Anakin answered honestly. "It's enough that it would bring the galaxy down the Bothan's throats."

"No wonder he's treating you the way he is. Is there a list of names involved? We can hand the list to the Bothan government and let them handle it," Padme questioned with a frown as Anakin nodded again.

"I have a list on my data pad in Imperial Center. The data pad has most likely been seized by now," Anakin explained with a frown. "There is one other place where I can find a list of names. That also means hacking Palpatine's files."

"We have a good hacking team, if you have a way to find the data pad's information online. We can have a team work on it," Fress explained with a frown as she walked into the room. "You look better this morning, Anakin," she commented as she took out her comlink "Lieutenant Paige, send your best hacker down to the med ward," she glanced at Anakin with a frown. "The sooner we deal with this, the better."

"I know how to get into Palpatine's files and know which file to look for," Anakin explained with a serious expression. "There are two more immediate issues that need to be dealt with."

"And what's that?" Fress questioned with a curious expression. "Besides getting the clone here?"

"Make that four," Anakin released a frustrated sigh. "The Empire has been getting away with too much for too long. There is a second Death Star being built out near Endor. It's half finished and if the Alliance acts now, they can take it out before it can be used. We need to deal with Palpatine, the sooner we take him out the sooner we can move in on Coruscant taking the planet back into control. I want to move memories into the clone body. I'm sick of constant respiratory infections. We need to get that list before the rest of the galaxy wakes up and realize what the Bothans had done. There is a lot more that needs to be set right, but these are the first four that has to be taken care of as soon as possible."

"Make that five, invading Coruscant," Mon Mothma spoke as she entered the room with Lieutenant Paige, Ackbar and the hacker trailing behind her. "General Skywalker, as soon as you're back on your feet. I want you to work with Admiral Ackbar to start working towards to stopping the Empire."

"With pleasure, Senator," Anakin responded with a small smile. "Admiral, I look forward to working with you again."

"I look forward to it, General," Ackbar responded as both eyes swiveled to look at Anakin. "It sounds like we have some pressing matters to attend to as soon as possible."

"General Skywalker, this is my best hacker, Kyle Shain," Paige spoke as he introduced the young man. "We can get started from your recovery room if you like?"

Anakin reached over and picked up a disk from the nightstand. "On this disk are Palpatine's codes. He may have changed them by now, but he doesn't know I have them. As far as I know they may work. It should help us pick up the trail."

"Let's get started," Kyle spoke as Paige nodded.

Padme took Fress by the arm and led her away from the others. Fress looked at her with a curious expression. "Fress, I'm letting you off the leash. Take care of Fey'lya at your leisure."

"What changed your mind?" Fress whispered low enough for Padme to hear and not anyone else.

"Fey'lya had someone infected with the flu bug spit in Anakin's mouth," Padme explained with a frown. "He deserves to be humiliated."

"This isn't like you," Fress pointed out with a frown. "Anakin's rubbed off on you."

"Are you willing to do it?" Padme questioned with a frown as Fress smirked. "I take that as a yes. Nothing too humiliating, there has to be limits."

"I have something in mind," Fress said as she rubbed her hands together with glee.

Padme patted Fress on the shoulder as she walked back to Anakin's bedside as he gave her a peculiar look. Anakin must have recognized the look of mischief on Fress's face. She was known for pulling pranks in the past.

Fress rummaged through the small closet and made a happy sound as she found the shavers and dyes. She was going to have fun with this prank. It would be payback for how he treated Anakin. She examined the colors and grinned. Bright orange, florescent pink and the color of the Alderaan symbol. Perfect. She was a little shocked when Padme changed her mind about getting even with the fur ball, but as of late he was starting to grate down on a lot of nerves. She had a feeling no one would mind the prank too much.

"Fress, what are you doing?" Jess questioned as she heard him approach the closet as she quickly wiggled her way out with the shavers and dyes in her hand. He glanced down at her hands and made a disapproval frown. "I thought Padme told you no?"

"She changed her mind," Fress explained as she placed them into the bag she carried around for these little endeavors of hers. "She discovered how Anakin got that flu bug and Fey'lya ordered someone sick with it to spit in his mouth."

"I can't believe Anakin didn't defend himself," Jess pointed out with a frown. "I know he did a lot of bad things in his time, but he still had rights."

"They held him at blaster point and told him to strip," Fress explained as she turned around. "I saw the holo recording and it wasn't pretty. They held him at blaster point and backed him into a corner. Someone took the helmet off and I wasn't sure if I was seeing correctly about the spitting part or not. Considering how sick Anakin got last night. I'm guessing I wasn't seeing things after all," she explained as she crawled back into the closet and grabbed a pair of rubber gloves and the holo recorder for later exploits and a black dress. She wanted to see his reaction when he woke up and saw her handy work.

"This is a bad idea," Jess repeated for the second time in a row. "I don't care what he's done. This is sinking down to his level."

"Not really," Fress was quick to justify the means. "A quick shave and dye job is pretty low on the torture scale," she grabbed her clothes she planned to change into. She always kept them but this time, considering who this was. She didn't think holding onto them after the job was done was a good idea. A prankster always knew when it was time to cut the losses. "Beside's it's fur, it'll grow back eventually."

Fress heard Jess sigh in frustration as she crawled back out and placed the rest of her things in the bag. She smirked as she took off her gloves so she didn't accidentally leave fingerprints on the holo recording devices. She already had the holo recorders on her end ready to start recording as soon as there was movement. She placed the bag beside the door as she glanced at Jess who was shaking his head with disapproval on his face. She walked up to Jess and wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him deeply on the lips. Jess responded by deepening the kiss then pulled back with a small smile. "Have fun tonight."

"I always do," Fress answered as Brice walked into their cabin. It was a good thing he wasn't listening to this whole conversation. Jess knew enough not to say anything, but a ten year old might. "There's my son," she wrapped an arm around Brice and brought him close. "Are you ready for your surgery in two days from now?"

"I am," Brice answered as he rubbed his side. "It can't be soon enough to get this bomb out of me."

"Same thing goes for us," Fress agreed as Jess placed his hand onto Brice's shoulder. "We love you, just remember that."

"I love you guys too," Brice returned as they walked to the couch and sat down. "Can I come tonight?"

"How long have you been standing there for?" Fress questioned as Brice leaned against her.

"Long enough to know what you plan to do," Brice answered with a puppy eyed expression as he attempted to make his eyes look bigger than normal.

"I don't think that's a good idea," Jess answered as Fress nodded in agreement. "It's bad enough your mother is planning this let alone you getting into trouble with her. There are holo recorders in the hallway."

"That's what the ID changer is for," Fress answered with a smirk. "A tauntaun roaming the hallways sounded like a fun way to hide my identity or a bothan."

"You've lost it," Jess teased causing Fress to roll her eyes. "What time did you plan to leave?"

"I figure past midnight," Fress answered with a smug grin. "He should be asleep by then. Brice no matter what, you can't tell anyone that it was me."

"I promise mom," Brice agreed with a grin. "Besides I like pulling pranks too."

"I'm so proud," Fress kissed Brice on the forehead. "One day you and I will get in on a better planned prank."

"Sounds like fun," Brice agreed as Jess groaned. "I still get to see his reaction, right?"

"Don't encourage our son, please," Jess pleased as Fress grinned at him. "No."

"A mother and son adventure, what better way to bond better," Fress said with a grin as Jess raised an eyebrow. "Jess you need to lighten up a bit. It's fun, you should try it sometime."

"I suddenly have a bad feeling about this," Jess muttered under his breath.

Fress turned on the ID changer before she stepped into the hallway that led to Fey'lya's room. She glanced around to make sure no one was up. So far not a soul walked the hallways. Everyone appeared to be a sleep. She quickly ran down the hallway and came to a stop in front of Fey'lya's room and punched in the over ride code. The door quickly swished aside as she heard the Bothan snoring lightly letting her know he was fast asleep.

Fress entered the room as the door silently closed behind her. She stretched out with the Force inducing the Bothan into a deeper sleep as she placed her bag on the table. She placed a mask over her face just to make sure the fumes didn't make her feel sick all of a sudden and went to work. She quickly placed the holo recorder in the bathroom in spots that made it difficult to spot. She returned to the bed and went to work.

Half an hour later she was applying the finishing touches to Fey'lya's fur. She was amazed he hadn't woken yet, but she had him in such a deep sleep. It would take loud banging noises to wake him. She smirked as she placed everything back into her bag. Luckily her shaver came with the option of a vacuum bag. It caught the hairs as she shaved him. She didn't plan to spend the next hour cleaning up risking getting caught.

Fress smirked as she tied a little blue bow in his fur on top of his head. There, perfect she thought to herself as she quickly picked up her bag and approached the door. She turned around and stretched out with the Force and wiped her signature from the room. She turned on the ID changer as it changed her into a Bothan again as she left the room and quickly ran down the hallway. She quickly disposed of the evidence into the trash chute including the small vacuum bag. At least it was disposable and she could always buy a new one later on down the road.

The next morning a scream of sheer terror snapped Fress out of a deep slumber as she sat up in bed rubbing her eyes. She glanced at the chrono noting it was eight in the morning. Another scream caused her to smirk as she heard Brice giggling madly. That meant the Bothan was finally awake. She spent the next few minutes after she returned changing the holo on the ID changer to something a little more comic. A Tauntaun.

Fress stood up and headed to the living area as Jess raised an eyebrow. She walked to the holo and watched as Fey'lya ripped off the black dress and let a third high scream as he looked at his chest. "That's my finest work yet."

His chest was shaved with the Alderaan symbol and colored to match. Little orange ringlets of fur were around his wrists and ankles. His fur on top of his head was a bright florescent pink with a little blue bow on top."

"Mom, you have to teach me to do this," Brice begged, as Jess shook his head no.

"Maybe one day," Fress answered as Jess made a sour face. He really didn't want Brice to learn to pull pranks like this.

"It amazes me that you never get caught," Jess commented with a serious expression.

"It's important to never leave behind your Force signature, finger prints, or a holo on the security footage," Fress smirked. "That's what the gloves and ID changer are for," she turned her attention to the holo recording as security entered in. They took one glance at Fey'lya and walked right back out. She could hear trails of laughter as they left.

Fey'lya scowled as he left the refresher as Fress's comlink went off. Right on cue, she thought with a frown as she answered it. "General Colias."

"General, your presence is required for solving a mystery down in Fey'lya's room," Padme spoke. "It appears someone shaved and dyed him."

"I'm on my way," Fress responded as Jess raised an eyebrow.

"And now I understand why you get away with it," Jess commented with a frown. "Your partner in crime?"

"Something like that," Fress answered with a frown. "I have a case to go fake."

"Good luck with that," Jess commented as Fress walked out of the door and headed towards Fey'lya's room. This would give her a chance to retrieve the live feeds. No one ever thinks to look for one. If someone thinks of it, she always made sure her prints could never be found.

Fress finished filling out a report to Mon Mothma about Fey'lya's case. So far no one had thought to look for the live feeds sitting in the vent and Ahsoka had graciously retrieved them for her while scouting out his cabin quarters. A very loud knock sounded at her office door as she gave permission for the being to enter. Fey'lya stalked in as if he was within his rights. After he violated Anakin's rights, she had no pity for the Bothan at all. "Fey'lya, what can I do for you?"

"Have they found the culprit?" Fey'lya asked with a serious expression causing her to shake her head. "Why not?"

"Whoever it was didn't want to be caught, they were extremely thorough in cleaning up any evidence. Are you sure you weren't sleepwalking? The holo recorders don't show anyone entering your room except you," Fress pointed out with a frown as Fey'lya shook his head.

"I don't sleepwalk," Fey'lya answered with a serious expression. "And for all I know, it could've been you. I heard you're friends with Vader and would want to attempt revenge against me."

"Are you accusing me?" Fress questioned with a serious expression. "I don't want to set a bad example for my son."

"I suppose not," Fey'lya agreed.

"I'm sorry, there is no evidence we have discovered on who is behind this," Fress pointed out with a serious expression. "It looks like a harmless prank and nothing more. After how you had others treat Anakin, I would say you had this coming."

"He murdered thousands in cold blood," Fey'lya snipped angrily. "He should be hanged."

"No matter what he's done, he still has rights," Fress pointed out in an angry tone. "You should be thankful no charges of abuse were laid against you. We're done here. Please leave my office."

"I'll let it go for now," Fey'lya stood up and headed towards the door but he paused for a second. "Good day General."

Fey'lya walked out of her office as she rubbed her temples. So far it appeared she just got away with it. That's until Mon Mothma walked in. "General, we need to talk."

"Is something wrong?" Fress questioned with a neutral expression as Mon Mothma sat down in a chair in front of her desk.

"Did you shave and dye Fey'lya?" Mon questioned with a serious expression causing Fress to frown.

"And why would you suspect me?" Fress questioned feigning innocence. She didn't know if Mon knew about her past or not. She was good at playing the innocent card when it came to who did what.

"Don't play innocent with me, General," Mon said with a stern expression. "You may be able to pull the wool over Fey'lya's eyes but you can't pull the wool over mine," she paused for a second and shook her head. "I get it. You're upset over how he treated Anakin and I would be too if I were you. Shaving and dying Fey'lya is not going to resolve anything. I heard you have a reputation for pulling these stunts when you lived in the Jedi temple and got away with it."

"And who told you that?" Fress questioned with a neutral expression. "If I got away with it?"

"Padme confessed to me about giving you permission to do it," Mon answered honestly causing Fress to give a small smile. "And she told me you were good at covering up your trail. I'm going to let this go with a warning. Don't do it again. I understand you were both upset over how he had Anakin treated. This will only make things worse."

"I promise not to do it again," Fress promised with a sincere smile. Mon Mothma gave an appreciative smile as she stood up.

"General, I consider this Fey'lya's punishment and have told him as much. Good day General," Mon Mothma left leaving Fress feeling shocked. It felt like a win to her. She stood up and left the room.
