Chapter 23: Sonic Truth or Dare
Toad Town Studios, Toadstool's Awesome Office, 4:30 PM
Toadstool drew back the bow. After a moment of hesitation, she let the arrow fly.
"Ten!" the announcer shouted.
"Y'know, you could just go to Wuhu Island for real and do that," said Darrel.
"You're such a drip." Toadstool rolled her eyes. Darrel always had to suck the fun out of everything. "I was pretending to be a tribute in the Hunger Games."
"Why?" asked Darrel.
"Cause I have an imagination?" Toadstool replied. "Also, I was bored."
"Anyone seen Purple today?" asked Darrel off-topic.
"No," said Orange. "Actually, I think he called in sick."
"Or he just wants a day off to raid fruit markets," said Toadstool. Darrel and Orange shrugged, for that was a strong possibility and it was probably true.
Orange shrugged. "Well, I hope he gets better if he really is sick." Toadstool and Darrel nodded in agreement. "Anyway, a guest is coming in today. Here's his info."
"Thanks," said Toadstool. "Oh hey, since Purple's not here today, would you mind manning the sound effects machine?"
"I guess not," said Orange after a couple of moments (she has stage fright, but it's not that bad).
"Cool. Well, guess we should be going," said Toadstool. The three of them went out of the office.
Toad Town Studios, Main Stage, 4:57 PM
A young boy popped out the warp pipe just as Toadstool and the gang walked in. "Hi, I'm Michael," he said, waving at the three.
"I'm Toadstool." Toadstool gave Michael the usual stage directions.
"Here we go again, you guys." Darrel turned on the camera and pointed at Toadstool.
"Hi there, and welcome to Toadstool89's Truth or Dare Show!" said Toadstool. "I'm Toadstool Eighty Nine, but you can call me Toadstool. With me today is a nine year old boy. Please welcome…Michael!"
Young Michael walked onto the stage. "Cool place," he commented.
"Ain't it?" Toadstool agreed. "Let's get started." Toadstool started to hand Michael her tablet. "Oh, wait a minute," said Toadstool. "I'm only truth and daring the people from Mobius today, so...Sonic, Amy, Tails, Silver, Shadow, Blaze, Rouge, Knuckles, Espio, Cream, and Cheese…stay in your seats. The rest of you get the day off. Bye!"
Everyone whose name wasn't called left the building.
"Okay, Micheal, you go first," said Toadstool.
"Okay." Michael thought a moment. "We have a dare from Kasane Teto for…Sonic! Kasane dares you to not eat a chili dog for the whole episode."
"Aw, what?" Sonic crossed his arms. "Dang…"
"Okay, my turn." Toadstool paused for a couple moments. "And now we have a truth question from Videogirl123 for...Cheese!"
"Fire away," said Cheese.
"Video asks...Did you or will you ever wish to be human?"
"Uh...What's a human?" asked Cheese.
"Oh, Cheese, you know what a human is!" said Cream, giggling.
"Yeah, I was just kidding," Cheese said to Cream. "Well, I have before, whenever I wanted to be taller or more intimidating. But I'm perfectly content being a Chao."
"Me now!" Micheal looked over the tablet. "Now we have a dare from Anonymous for...Shadow!"
"Whatever," said Shadow.
"Anonymous dares you to sing 'I Am All of Me' on stage."
"Yes, please do that!" shouted Toadstool all of a sudden. "That Gummy Bear song awhile back was weird...Darrel, if you please?"
"Fine. Gotta do everything around here..." Darrel grumbled silently as he plugged in the karaoke machine and handed Shadow the microphone.
"Here's a special treat on the show...'I Am All of Me' sung by our very own Shadow!" Toadstool said announcer-like.
"Well, at least it's my theme song," Shadow mumbled before beginning.

Everyone clapped when Shadow and the others were done with their singing.
"That was awesome!" exclaimed Micheal.
"Let's give it up for Shadow!" said Toadstool.
Shadow waved like "I don't care" as everyone clapped for him again.
"Well, that's all the time we have for today," said Toadstool. "So see you next time on..."
"Toadstool89's Truth or Dare Show!" Micheal finished.
Well, actually, I guess I could've put more, but I like to limit myself to about five pages minimum, seven pages maximum. Anyway, here's the roster again.
