Hey guys! So, this is chapter five. I'm sorry if it's a bit shorter than usual, but don't worry, I'll try writing a longer one next time :)

Next Day

I woke up the next day and was so excited to go to Space Land with Light. I'm finally spending some time with my big brother. I went downstairs with excitement and Light was already up.

"Good morning princess," Light greeted. He called me princess! He use to call me that when we were younger.

"Good morning," I said happily. I sat down and ate my breakfast with haste.

"Now, now Seika. Don't eat too fast, you'll have a stomach ache," Light cautioned. I slowed my pace, but not that much. Pretty soon we we're both finished with our meals.

"All right, let's get you ready," he said.

"Yay!" I exclaimed. He helped me in my big winter coat and we were ready to go. "I'm so excited! A day with you all by myself."

"Actually we're also going to meet a friend of mine," he corrected.

"What? But I thought it was going to be only the both of us?" I asked not hiding my disappointment.

"Don't worry Seika. She's not as important as you," he teasingly reassured.

"And it's a girl!" I exclaimed. He merely smiled and gave me a peck on the cheek.

"Is my little sister jealous?" he taunted as he was taking my hand and brought me outside.

"No! It's just that… If you ever have a girlfriend she has to go through my inspection first," I stated with a serious face.

"All right, but try not to scare them," he agreed to play along.

"Hmp! If they can't handle a ten year old, they don't deserve you," I replied.

"Hahaha! What about you?" he asked.

"What do you mean, what about me?" I asked.

"Are you interested in boys?" he poked. I blushed crimson at the thought "NO! All the boys at my school are idiots."

"Well, if you ever get a boyfriend, he'll have to go through my inspection. It's only fair after all," he teased. I puffed my cheeks. "I told you I'm not interested and that's final."

As we were heading for the bus stop I had a the sensation that someone was watching us. I turned around and there was no one. It was probably nothing and I didn't press the thought further. We arrived at the stop and I saw the girl Light mentioned.

"Light!" she greeted waving her hand at him. I held on his hand a bit tighter.

"Sorry, I'm late," he apologized.

"It's all right," she said and then noticed me. "Who is this little girl?" I noticed she also had a hint of disappointment, but she hid it better. Ha! That girl has no idea who I am.

"That's my little sister Seika," he answered.

"Oh!" she exclaimed. She gave me a smile and bent down to my level. "Hello, my name is Yuri. Nice to meet you." I merely stared at her hand making an awkward atmosphere around us.

"She's a little bit shy" Light excused trying to explain my behavior.

"Oh! I see, well I'm sure we'll be able to get along great," she said.

Fortunately for me the bus arrived. Inside, I sat in between the girl and my brother making sure to seperate her from him. We were about to leave, but someone else entered the bus last minute. The person was a man and he didn't look japanese must be a foreigner. At the next stop an ugly man came inside and I didn't like the bad intention he was giving of.

"Light, that man is scaring me," I said. Before he could answer, the ugly man spoke loudly.

"This bus has just been hijacked, ladies and gentlemen," he yelled. The other passenger gasped and I held Light's hand. "Light I'm scared," He took me in his arms and was trying to reassure me. The man was waving his gun and I was so scared. "Make him go away," I whimpered. Light started to scribble something and passed the note to Yuri. I read what was on the paper and panicked.

"Don't do it big brother," I begged

"Don't it's too dangerous. Let me take care of that," the man behind us said. Light scribbled on another piece of paper.

"It's okay, we can talk if we keep our voices down. He won't hear us over the noise od the bus," the stranger whispered.

"I don't mean to be rude, but you have a slight accent. You aren't Japanese are you?" Light asked.

"No, I'm American. My mother's the Japanese though," he answered.

"Do you have anything that will prove to me that you aren't the hijacker's accomplice?" Light inquired.

"A-accomplice?" Yuri said shakily. Light explained that sometime in a hijacking the criminal had back-up in case something goes wrong. I stared at the American and he didn't seem like a bad guy.

"Oh my gosh… You mean…" Yuri stuttered.

"But Light he doesn't seem like a bad person," I said lowly.

"Well, it's better to be safe than sorry," my brother persisted. "Well do you?" The man hesitated before showing a piece of I.D. "You want proof? Here." Light took it and had an astonished face. I took a peak at the I.D. and I saw FBI written on it. So he isn't a bad person, but what is a big organisation like the FBI doing here in the first place?

"Okay, I trust you. And right now I won't ask why an FBI agent is on board this bus," Light said. "Got a gun?"

"Yes, I do." He answered.

"So, you'll take care of it if something happens," Light instructed.

"Yes," the stranger agreed. Then, Light dropped a piece of paper. "Crap," he cursed.

"Hey!" the hijacker yelled. I buried my face in Light's jacket. "What's this? Are you guys passing notes?" he demanded as he bent down taking the note.

"Light onii-sama," I whispered.

"TCH! What's this, where you were meeting your date?" the ugly man scoffed. "Drop something again, I'll shoot ya!" he warned as he threw the paper at Light. "And that goes for all of y'all. Anybody makes a move, I'm gonna…" He stopped and had a panicked look on his face. "Wh-what the hell? You.. In the back there, you monster, you… How long you been there?" I glanced at the back and there was no one. The guy started to panic and shot at the back of the bus.

"Everyone, get down!" the FBI stranger called out. Light pushed Yuri and me down for safety. The bus stopped abruptly and I heard a familiar screeching noise and a big collision sound. I looked up the window, but Light tried to stop me.

"Don't look!" Light, exclaimed but it was too late. I saw the car, the man and the pool of blood. My heart leaped as and old scar opened. I saw the blinding light and the sudden pain came back with the darkness. I started to whimper and tears came flowing down. Light took me in his arm and tried to comfort me.

"Sshhh. Seika! It's okay," he said trying to reassure me. I gripped his coat like my life depended on it. We got out of the bus and Light held my head making sure I didn't see.

"Is she going to be okay?"the stranger asked worriedly.

"Yeah, don't worry about it," Light assured as he tried to sooth me by petting my back.

"Also, I'm actually in Japan on a top-secret mission and if the Japanese police… Well…," the American said.

"I understand. I won't tell anybody I met you," Light promised and the agent left without a second glance. "Yuri, I'm sorry, but I can't go to Space Land. My sister is in a state of shock. I have to bring her back."

"Oh, it's ok. I understand," she said. I didn't need to see the disappointing look on her face to know she was unhappy, but I didn't care. Light said his goodbye and we left. I was still holding on to him tightly and trembling lightly. We arrived home and he opened the door.

"Looks like mom and Sayu aren't here," Light noticed. He gently put me down and helped me out of my winter garments. "Do you want to go to bed?" I simply nodded. He took me in his arms again and brought me in my room. I didn't bother to change in my pajama. He placed me in bed and pulled the covers up. "Do you want me to stay?" I held his hand tighter as a response. He took a small chair and sat beside me. "I'll stay until you fall asleep," he assured. I nodded and closed my eyes.
