Chapter 34: Ask Toadstool!

Toad Town Studios, Toadstool's Awesome Office, 4:00 PM

Toadstool sat in front of her camera. She had recently created a YouTube channel for the show and she was about to record her first update. She turned the camera on via remote and started to speak.

"Hello, everyone! I'm Toadstool Eighty Nine, the hostess of Toadstool89's Truth or Dare Show! I'm vlogging a little now to introduce a special new feature I decided to add. It's called..."

"Toadstool!" Orange called out from the bathroom. "Where's the toilet paper?"

"In the cabinet!" Toadstool yelled back. "Anyway, it's called..."

"What cabinet?" Orange called.

"What do you think? There's only one cabinet in there!" said Toadstool.

"And some drawers!" said Orange.

"That's beside the point!" Toadstool huffed. "Okay, it's called..."

"Toadstool, I can't find it!"

"Shut up! I'm recording!" Toadstool sighed. "It's called Ask Toadstool! This is a new feature where I take questions from you guys, the viewers, and I answer as many as I can before the show. You can ask me about the show, the crew, the cast, the studio, or just ask me about whatever floats your boat. I'm here to satisfy your curiosity. Also, if you have questions for the other crew members, you can ask me and I'll see if I can get them to answer. Well, that about it for now. Don't forget to leave some questions in the comments if you have any. Peace!" She turned off the camera and uploaded the video to her computer. She'd edit it later.

Author's note: Yep, I will answer your questions in this section of the chapter from now on unless: A. Something important is happening in the office, or B. It's an elimination chapter. Other than that, ask away! I look forward to any questions you may have.

In fact, here's one I feel I have to address now:

Q: Toadstool89, once you said Yoshi was on the show, but none says anything about Yoshi before or after! Why?

A: That was an observation error. I didn't realize that mistake until awhile after I had posted the chapter. I remember it said I gave Yoshi a translator. But I just left it there because I'm too lazy to fix it. But yeah, Yoshi's not on the show. He was never on the roster. Sorry to all you Yoshi fans. Also, Dr. Eggman was never on the roster either (sorry spatterson).

So yeah, that's how the questions will work. You can send me a question in the reviews. You can also PM me if you want. I'll do my best to answer them. Okay, enough of this. It's showtime!

Toad Town Studios, Main Stage, 4:26 PM

A Boo was floating in the room by the time the crew arrived onstage.

"Hello! I'm Sparkly Fabulous McFaboo," said the Boo.

"Nice to meet you." Toadstool gave him the stage directions.

"We're live!" said Darrel.

Toadstool nodded. "Hello, and welcome to Toadstool89's Truth or Dare Show! I'm Toadstool Eighty Nine, but you can call me Toadstool. I have a special guest today. Please welcome...Sparkly Fabulous McFaboo!"

Sparkly floated over to the guest chair. "Thanks for having me on the show," he said.

"Thanks for wanting to be here," said Toadstool. "Okay, now you pick a truth or dare since you're the guest."

Sparkly looked at the choices. "Alright. We have a dare from AcornKingdom1 for Amy! No chasing Sonic or threatening him for four chapters."

"Aww!" said Amy just as Sonic said "Sweet!"

"And we have a truth question from the same user for Tails!" said Toadstool. "Tails, do you like Cream?"

"I like her, but not in that way," said Tails. "She's a good friend, though."

"Thank you!" said Cream.

"You're welcome," said Tails.

"One more thing from Acorn for Cheese!" said Sparkly. "For being adorable, here is a chocolate bar."

"Yay!" said Cheese. He ate the chocolate bar.

Toadstool's turn. "And now we have a dare from LuigiLord84 for everyone! The dare is for everyone to compete in a laser tag competition. Last one standing gets a pet turtle."

Everyone magically teleported to a super ultimate laser tag arena. The referee taught them the rules and then the lasers flew. A half hour later, Espio emerged victorious. Everyone then returned to the studio and Espio got a turtle.

Sparkly's turn. "Next we have a truth question from bradon458 for Shadow! Who would you go out with, Sonic or Silver?"

Shadow fainted.

"Okay..." said Toadstool. "Uh...Now we have a dare from spatterson for Peach, Daisy, Toadette, Rosalina, Amy, and Bowser! The dare is to sing Let It Go from Frozen."

The karaoke machine appeared and the people who were called got their microphones.

(Amy)

The snow glows white on the mountain tonight
Not a footprint to be seen

(Peach)

The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside
Couldn't keep it in, heaven knows I tried

It's funny how some distance makes everything seem small

(Rosalina)

(Daisy)

My power flurries through the air into the ground
My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around
And one thought crystallizes like an icy blast

(Everyone)

The cold never bothered me anyway

Everyone clapped for the singers. They all took a bow and sat back down.

Sparkly's turn again. "And now we have a dare from the39cluesfreak156 for Shadow! The dare is to fight with Knuckles."

"Alright." Shadow and Knuckles fought and they knocked each other out.

Toadstool's turn. "Next up is a dare from Guest for Amy! Whack Silver on the head with your Piko Piko hammer."

So that's exactly what Amy did, knocking Silver out in the process.

"Next we have a dare from anonymus for Sonic!" said Sparkly. "Run around the world once."

"Okay!" Sonic smiled and made it around the whole Mushroom world in under a minute.

"And now we have some truth questions from werewolf lover99 for Amy, Peach, Flora, Espio, and Cream!" said Toadstool. "Amy, why does Sonic always run away from you?"

"Y'know, I've been wondering that myself," said Amy, glaring at Sonic.

"Peach, do you have a crush on Mario?"

"Uh, a little..." Peach said shyly, blushing.

"Flora, do you have any siblings?"

"No," said Flora.

"Espio, what is your most disgusting secret?"

"Uh...One time I was in the Chaotix main office and I tripped down some stairs and I landed on top of my friend Charmy Bee and we accidentally kissed," said Espio. "It probably traumatized the poor kid."

"And finally, Cream...What American college would you choose to go to and why?"

"Well, I'm too young to consider colleges right now, but I think that I'd probably go for somewhere with a good art course," said Cream. "I love coloring."

"Well, that's all the time we have for today," said Toadstool. "See you next time on..."

"Toadstool89's Truth or Dare Show!" said Sparkly.

One more thing about the new Ask Toadstool feature...it's totally optional. You don't have to do it if you don't want to. Totally up to you guys. Anyway, here's the roster.
