"I'm tired." I said running out of breath.

"What the hell's wrong with you? We barely even ran." Laxus said looking back at me.

I stopped for a moment my eyes half open. "What's wrong?" Jellal said looking worried.

"Gray?" Mira softly said. They all stopped and began to look at me.

I closed my eyes for a second and something weird overwhelmed me. There's someone here. And suddenly I got full of energy. "Someone's here!" I yelled out!They looked at me like if I was crazy.

"We don't have time for your stupidity. Let's go." Laxus said puling my collar.

"Wait! Laxus!" I said resisting. He let go of my collar and look at me serious.

"Gray come on!" Mira said.

What's with everyone? "What the hell is wrong with you guys?" I asked.

"Hurry up!" Jellal said pushing me forwards.

"Gray!" Mira yelled out.

"Gray.."Jellal muttered.

"Gray! Can you hear us?" Laxus said."Gray?Gray?"

What? I opened my eyes. Laxus was shaking me. He stopped and stared at me as he let go of my collar.What just happened? Weren't they pulling me?

"Are you okay?" Mira asked.

"You look a little pale."Laxus noted.

"And confused. What's wrong?" Jellal asked.

"Someone's here." I managed to say."Someone's here."What am I saying? Why am I saying that? I don't even know if there's an enemy.

"Where?" Mira asked. "Gray! Tell us."

"Weren't you guys just pulling on me a minute ago?" I asked still confused on the situation.

"What the hell are you talking about? You dozed out on us. We kept calling your name but you wouldn't answer so I had to shake you."Laxus said.

I looked over to Jellal and he simply nodded. "Someone's here." I said again.What the hell is wrong with me?

"Were?" Mira desperately asked.

"I don't know." I admitted.

"Gray if your asking for attention then right now is not a good time." Laxus said getting irritated."Come on let's keep moving." He said. Jellal nodded as an agreement but I didn't move. No, I couldn't move.

"Gray! We don't have time for this!" Laxus said getting mad.

"I know" I whispered.

"Then what is it?" Jellal asked impatiently.

I turned to look at them. Why are they all getting mad at me?

"Annoying." Mira said with a giggle.

"Mira this isn't funny." Laxus said.

"I didn't say that!" Mira said.

"If it wasn't Mira then..." Jellal said turning around.

"You should've listened to the little one." She said as she stepped forward.

"Little?" I whispered.

"So Gray was right." Mira said.

"Little?" I repeated but a little bit louder.

"So who's going to take this one?" Laxus asked.

"LITTLE?! Who you calling little?" I shouted. Laxus, Jellal, and Mira just looked at me. Then I noticed. I gasped. I was the shortest one from the group. NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I'm glad Gajeel isn't here.

"I thought you knew,Gray." Mira said trying to hold in her laughter with Jellal. Laxus just smirked.

"This can't be.." I said looking at my hands. "Gajeel is taller than me"

"I'll be her opponent." Mira said smiling as she popped her knuckles.

"My name's Ultear. A pleasure to meet you." She said.

"Let's go!" Jellal said passing by and me and Laxus followed.

"Don't take long, Mira!" I yelled out smiling and I got a nod as a response.

-With Gajeel-

Apparently this bastard didn't really look like that. He was disguising himself. He actually had blonde hair with weird eyes.

Damn this guy. I thought. He was quick and not only that, but the bastard was skilled. He knew where my next attack was going to be and if he didn't he dodged it quick sending me away with a punch.

"What's wrong? Are you having trouble?" He said in a mocking voice.

"Why you-!" I said ready to punch him but before I could he used a roar.

"Flame God's Bellow!" He breathed in a massive fire ball and then he roared.

Shit! I tried to dodge it but it hit my left leg. "You just used fire..." I said shocked. What the hell is this guy? "Hey, creep. What exactly are you?" I asked.

"Oh. You don't know? You may be a dragon slayer but you sure aren't bright!" He then began to laugh."I'm the Flame God Slayer."

"The Flame God Slayer?" I mumbled.

"Obviously." He chuckled."You're pretty slow in the fast lane, now aren't you?"

"Hey! Stop trying to get me more mad then I am!" I yelled out.

"Whatever." He said then he came close to me trying to punch me."I have to defeat you first so I can defeat Natsu Dragneel! The Salamander!" I dodged him quickly.

Hey Natsu. I thought. I just found your stupid rival that actually makes sense why he wants to take you down. He's a Flame God Slayer.

But...there's no way in hell that I will loose to him.

-With Gray_Normal POV_-

As we began to run Jellal stopped."What's wrong?" I asked panting.

"You're obviously tired, Gray." Jellal said."Let's walk from here."

I shook my head. "No way." I argued. "I want to find Hades and beat him already. We're stalling time as Mira and Gajeel fight."

"Even if you do defeat him right here and now that won't make a difference that there opponents will stop!" Jellal protested.

"Who are you to talk?" I yelled out."Mystogan would've understand." I mumbled. I was now staring angrily at Jellal. Laxus had his back turned so I really couldn't see his expression.

"Gray, shut up." Laxus mumbled.

"Oh come on, Laxus!" I shouted. "I bet your happy that I'm shouting at Jellal. And you know why?" I asked. Jellal just stood there not knowing why."It's because you can't accept the fact that Mystogan's dead and Jellal is now your new roommate and your new friend!The only reason you talk to him is because he looks like Mystogan and you pretend he is. Well guess what, Laxus? He's a replacement!You pretend to deal with him. But deep down you can't stand him? Because you can't stand that he looks like Mystogan!WHENEVER YOU LOOK AT HIM YOU SEE YOUR DEAD BEST FRIEND!"

With that Laxus turned around and punched me as hard as he could. I went flying but came to a stop as I dragged my feet to the floor to stop me. I fell lying on the floor and I sat up. My cheek was burning and it was red. I looked over at Laxus and he had a icy, cold, dreadful stare looking at me. Jellal saw it to and looked over to me, worried. "Shut the hell up." He said not taking his eyes off of me. "He was my best friend! You wouldn't understand that!"

"Oh yeah? What makes you think your pain is so much better than any of ours? Huh?" I asked angrily. He wouldn't answer me. He just stared at me. "To be honest I don't want to feel pain anymore."

"Life is pain!" Laxus yelled out. "Before Mystogan fought that bastard,Midnight, he told me that if anything happened to him that he knew I would help him out. That I would save him. I trusted him as well. We we're like had each others back. But with Midnight... I failed to save him and I failed to be his friend.." I stared at him not knowing any of that. Jellal helped me up and I didn't push him away but I wanted to. But I couldn't. "And." He added."Maybe I did talk to Jellal as if he was Mystogan." He turned to Jellal. "I'm sorry. I should've talked to you as the person you are and not someone I knew. I sometimes acted like I was talking to Mystogan and you reminded me of Mystogan and for once I wanted it to be true."

He walked away from us leaving us behind then he stopped. "I just wanted my best friend back.." He kept walking the road ahead of us and was leaving us behind. I watched him leave and couldn't help but think. Stupid Laxus. He didn't have to punch me so hard. I wonder if I'm still going to be his friend after all of this.

"Gray." Jellal said worried.

"Huh? What?" I asked coming back from my thoughts.

"I asked if you were okay." He said.

"Oh..um..yeah." I responded.

"Sorry. This was all my fault." He said with a apologetic smile. "If only I wouldn't have provoked you to stop then we would've just continued."

Damn. His smile even looks like Mystogan. "No it's my fault for snapping like that. " I said. "Well we might as well catch up."

We began walking in silence. "Gray." Jellal said breaking the silence.

I looked up. "What?" He didn't say anything."What do you want?!"

"Why do you dislike me?"He asked.

My eyes widened. Why do you dislike me?(Ch. 6 Mystogan's past is the same as this moment.) Before I got a chance to answer someone appeared in front of us and I bumped into them. "Hey! Watch were you're-." Jellal quickly backed away and taking me with him while puling my collar. We we're now a few feet in front of him.

"This is interesting." He said.

"What is?" Jellal asked.

The man had brown hair and long sideburns. He also had a goatee. "I'll be fighting both of you."

"Wait no-." Jellal began but I interrupted him.

"Hell yeah, you are!"I said.

Jellal looked at me. "Gray. You need to go. I'll take care of him."

"What-. No way! I'm not leaving." I said sternly.

"I'll meet you there. Go find Hades. When you do, we're all be there along side you. Go on ahead. I'll meet you there." He explained.

"Fine." I said running.

"My name's Jellal." Jellal said. "Nice to meet you."

"Oh a nice fellow. My name's Azuma." Azuma said introducing himself. "Why the introduction?"

"Well I want to know my opponent." Jellal continued."So I have no guilt on beating up a stranger."

"You'll regret those words,kid." Azuma seriously said.

"Not as much as the fight you're going to put up." Jellal said ready to take on his opponent.

-Laxus POV-

That jackass. I thought as I walked away. Who the hell does he think he is? After a while of walking I looked up. Geez. Where the hell am I now? Then I heard a giggle. I stopped and looked around. "Now what?"

"Hello~" I heard someone say. I turned to my left and saw a little girl with pink hair sitting in a branch. She didn't interest me for a fight so I kept on walking. "Hey! We're you going?" She asked getting off the tree and perfectly landing on her feet.

She was small. Like about Wendy's height. Maybe an inch or two taller. "What do you want?" I asked.

"Those are some cool headphones you've got." She said trying to make conversation."When I beat you, can I have them?"

"What?" I asked. Beat me? This kid?

"Don't take me lightly just because I look like a kid!" She shouted.

"You are a kid." I simply said.

"Shut up! I won't take you lightly because you're a guy." She said.

"Okay. Didn't expect you to." I said turning to her.

This guy thinks he's so cool. With his scar, and headphones, and blonde hair. She thought. He is a little cute thought. What no-! I will never admit that.

I stared at her. "Hey, kid. You gonna start or what?"

She turned to look at me. "Stop calling me kid!" She said getting fluttered.

"Then what's your name?" I asked not really caring.

"Tell me yours first." She said. "Then I'll tell you mine."

"I don't really care." I said taking my headphones off. "If you win I'll give you my headphones."

"Okay. But if you win you can take my life. Do whatever you want with it." She said seriously.

Her life? Why would she throw that away?What a weird kid. Wendy's not even like this.

"Whatever." I mumbled.

There. I'm so sorry it took long. I'm not going to use her name until the battle's over. If you know who she is good for you. Sorry she's OC-ish. I put her like that because there will be LaxusXLucy moments, because of her. I said this before: I never give up in my stories. I finally found my motivation and I'm all fired up! I have rough drafts of the next chapters and I really want to get to Gray vs Hades. What did you think? Please review.
