I kept running to find Hades and a little bit hoping to see Laxus as well. I stopped running as I got tired. I don't want to waste all my energy. I thought as I walked. I looked around and only saw trees. Am I lost?

-Mira's POV-

As the rest left to go on ahead I knew that they would all stay behind, except for one person. The person who was going to fight Hades. We already agreed who the person was going to be to fight Hades.

-Flashback-

"So who's going to fight Hades?" Jellal asked as we headed to find the town.

"It should me be." Gajeel said grinning.

"Nu-uh! It should be me." Gray said grinning back.

"No! I said it first!" Gajeel argued.

"So? Whoever says an answer in class first doesn't mean there right!" Gray argued back.

"He has a point there." Laxus said.

"Well I think that we should all fight him." I suggested. "He is strong."

"I don't think we'll be able to." Jellal commented.

"Why not?" Gray asked as he stopped fighting with Gajeel.

"Yeah. Don't think we'll win?" Gajeel asked.

"No! It's not that. We'll win for sure…but think about it. Master Hades has a group of people willing to fight for him. On our way to him I bet we'll come to see them and one of us will get left behind. So to a conclusion I bet only one of us will fight him while the rest fight his comrades or neither of us. It depends on how many people he actually has." Jellal explained.

"That's true." Gray said nodding his head.

"Smart!" I said with a smile."You really thought this through haven't you?"

"No, no. I just think quick on my feet." Jellal said smiling and scratching his head. I noticed that Laxus looked over to Jellal but didn't say anything.

Finally he said something. "Can you come up with a strategy plan?" He asked.

"Of course." Jellal answered." I could make one up right on the spot."

Mystogan was also smart. I thought as I bit my lower lip.

"So who's going to battle the guy?"Gajeel asked.

"It should be Jellal." I answered. "He's quick on his feet so I think he'll know what are the best moves to defeat Hades."

Jellal shook his head."No,I don't think it should be me."

"Then who?" Gray asked impatiently.

We all looked at him."I may know strategy's and more than anyone but I think Laxus should fight him."

"Laxus?" Gray said not satisfied that it was him.

"Yeah. I think it should be more of a skilled person. Laxus is the strongest among us all and I'm the second-." He got interrupted by Gray again.

"Third." Gray mumbled.

"You can't be second!" Gajeel yelled out.

"Not me! Mystogan's second!" Gray yelled back.

Jellal just smiled at him."Third person so I think Laxus should do it."

Laxus looked over to him. "And what if you're in trouble in a fight? "He asked.

"It'll be okay. You'll save me right?" Jellal said teasingly. Laxus looked straight ahead not saying anything.

"Alright so it's settled." I said. "Laxus will fight Hades."

"Wait! Let's see if Laxus wants to." Gray said with a mischievous smirk.

"What about it thunder freak? Are you in?" Gajeel asked.

"Sure. Why not?" He said looking bored.

-End Of Flahsback-

So it's settled. Laxus will fight Hades. We'll win for sure. Nothing can go wrong. Right?

"If you don't focus on this fight then you'll lose." She said punching me.

She caught me off guard. I took a few steps back as I touched the cheek she punched me in. "Not bad." I said smiling. Then I turned serious. "But that won't be enough."

-Gajeel's POV-

I don't even have the chance to use my roar with this guy. I thought dodging his attack.

"Having trouble?" He loudly asked.

"Shut up, punk!" I answered. He's keeping his distance from me. If he wants to play that game then I'll guess I'll play along. I smirked. "Iron Fist!" I shouted as my hand turned into Iron and shot up from where he was and punched him in the stomach. Got the bastard!

After I punched him he came a little closer. If I can't beat him then how the hell was I going to be able to fight Hades? I thought angrily. This is my chance! "Roar of the Iron Dragon!" I yelled out as I shot out the roar. When the smoke cleared up he was still standing. What?

"Not too bad." He answered. Then I saw his hand. He took it all in with only his hand? Is this some kind of sick joke?

He came closer to me to punch me in the cheek but that didn't stop me. I punched him back as hard as I could back. We we're at it for a while until he stopped and backed off."Master Hades will defeat Fairy Tail! But don't worry he won't have a chance to lift a finger on you since I'll be the one to end it." He began laughing.

"No your wrong." I said looking at him.

"How so?" He asked.

"That stupid Master of yours won't lift a finger on me because Laxus will finish him off." I then used (attack).

He turned to look at me serious and with a cold stare. "We'll see about that."

-Gray's POV-

What?! I can't be lost! Man am I going to get a scolding. I stopped my foot on the floor. "I want to fight Hades!" I yelled out like a kid who wanted something he wasn't going to get. "I have to find him first before Laxus does. It's not fair that he got chosen." I began walking wherever my legs took me. I got bored soon but didn't stop. "Where can that old man be? I'm hungry." I stopped as I turned to look behind me. Someone's following me. Who could it be? And how long? I thought. I'll try it out. I stepped forward and so did they. I stepped back and they did the same. Finally I wanted to see who it was so I froze the area. I went over to where they were standing but they weren't there. Huh?

"Behind you!" The voice said as he tackled me down.

My chin was hitting the ground and I was struggling to get up. He's heavy. I grunted. I struggled to turn my head to the side and I saw who it was. A dog? A chicken?

"Keep him down!" The chicken said.

By their voices I can tell that they were both guys. "What the hell is this?" I finally managed to say.

"He can talk!" The dog shockingly said.

"Of course I can stupid!" I answered.

"Keep him down!" The chicken yelled.

I stared at him and then he stared at me. I am hungry. I thought. He was taller than me. Good. More for me. As I imagined cooking him my mouth began to water.

"H-Hey. What's with that look?" He asked.

Laxus can fry him. I thought. Jellal can say what parts are good. Mira can cut him up. And Gajeel would get a smaller piece than me because he didn't do anything. I caught him so no argument there. "I'm hungry." I mumbled.

"KEEP HIM DOWN!" The chicken yelled out even louder. He was freaking out a little.

"Got it." The dog said.

Wait. I have to find Hades before Laxus. I don't have time for this. I began using my magic so it would freeze me. It slowly was. It began on my whole back. Little by little. My ice would be too cold for the dog to handle. I looked up to him and he was fine. I clenched my hands and used more magic to make it cooler. I felt my body freeze up which wasn't a problem for me.

"What to do with him." I heard the chicken whisper.

"We can take him to the master." The dog suggested.

If they do that then I'll stop freezing myself and break the ice off. "No, no." The chicken said. Your loss chicken. I thought. The dog jumped up and his left side of him was full of ice. "What's wrong?" The chicken asked.

I was free! I got up on my feet and stood up. I turned to my side and popped my back. Then I turned back and looked at them. I put my right hand up and pointed to the dog. They both flinched. "Do you have any idea how heavy you are!?" I yelled.

"Hey!" He yelled back.

"Let's just finish him!" The chicken said.

I have an idea. "What are you talking about? Hades needs the papers. I need to deliver them to him." I said lying.

"What papers? I don't see any on you?" The dog asked.

"I can't show them to you" I said.

"Then why are you? Why aren't you headed to Hades?" The chicken asked.

"W-well…obviously I can't. Intruders broke in." I answered. "I have to take the long way."

"That's true." The dog said but was scolded by his friend.

"Yes it would make sense but…there were 4 of them." He replied.

They knew we we're coming? And when we got here! "I wonder we're he could be. He must be following me."

"You think we're idiots?! We know you're one of them!" Then he threw an egg at me which I was pleased to dodge.

"Worth a try" I said dodging it. "What if I beat you guys? Then can you tell me where Hades is?"

The dog looked at the chicken and they both nodded. "Sure." He replied. "But if we win, we get to own you." He waited for my reply.

"Yeah sure whatever." I said.

"Alright, let's start."

-Jellal's POV-

Guess I'll start. I began running and was going to punched him. He extended his hand forward in front of me. In the middle of his hand there seemed to be a small yellow spark. Before I knew it a beam shot out from that hand. Then there was an explosion. "Meteor." I said. My body was now surrounded with body magic like a cloak and it allowed me to move through the air. I'll use this opportunity to now actually hit him. I went up to him and punched him.

I landed a few feet away from him."That was incredible speed." He said getting up.

I just looked at him waiting for him to make a move.I'll have to end this quick so I can help Laxus defeat Hades. There's no time to waste."Grand Chariot." Seven magic seals then connect in the air.

"When did you-" Azuma said but he was interrupted when the real magic began. Each magic seal then released a powerful light blast down on Azuma, forming the same pattern before hitting the ground. "Tower Burst!" Azuma yelled out as he extended both arms out to his side. He then summoned and enormous tower of flame above my attack.

When the smoke cleared up he just stood there. I became serious. This guy is in no mood to mess around. This isn't going to be a quick battle.

"You should start getting serious." Azuma said smirking.

I looked at him. How did he know I wasn't using all I got?

"Same goes for you."

-Gray's POV-

"There." I said dusting off the dirt on my pants. I looked over to the chicken. "Are you going to tell me now?" I asked as they both lay on the ground.

"N-No way." The chicken said.

"W-Why you-!" I said coming closer.

"If you hurt u-us. You w-wont know where he's at." The dog said.

Tsk. I then began forming a rope with magic.

"H-Hey. What are you going to do with that?" The chicken asked.

I smiled.

A few minuted later they we're tied up. I tied up the dog to the tree and the chicken in the branch. The rope was tied to the branch and the chicken's right foot. His hands we're also tied. "Why am I tied like this?" The chicken complained.

I then got a stick. "Well alive is good too." The chicken then began to yell. Then a tower of fire came shooting from the sky.That's we're Jellal is."Or I can go over there and cook you." I came closer to him and said."Tell me.."

After some yelling he finally told me. "He's in the other side of the island...He's in his ship."

"Other side? Man that's a long walk and it's going to take a while." I mumbled.

"I-I can't believe you we're going to eat me." The chicken said still a little shaky.

I put the stick down and headed jogging that way.

-Laxus POV-

This is a waste of my time!
"Hey kid." I said. "Are you going to attack or where you just bluffing."

"I told you not to call me kid!" She shouted.

"Fine...Pinky." I said grinning.

"You had this coming!" She said. "Maguilty Rays!" Long yellow blades were send towards me. I just stood there. "Got him!" I heard her say. Pathetic."W-What?" She shockingly said as she saw me. I used some of my lighting to cover me up."Lighting huh?"

"We'll my attacks won't work." She began running towards me.

What now? She tried to punch me but failed as I dodged it. "A punch? You think you could defeat me with a punch?" As she failed, I grabbed her fist and pulled it down and tripped her. She landed on her face but got on her knees as her hands we're on the floor. I grabbed her by her red cape and lifted her with it.

"Let me go!" She said kicking the air. I began swinging her in circles until she got dizzy. "S-S-Stop it." She said with swirling eyes. Then she snapped out of it.

"Had your fun now?" I asked.

"Don't take me lightly." She said. "A punch can defeat someone."

"Yeah and a smile can too." I sarcastically said.

Her lips began to tremble. She looked like Wendy. The time I accidentally pushed her as I dodged Natsu's attack. I sighed. I apologized but Lucy argued with me until I had to carry her. She smiled and was happy she was doing so. I then looked at her. Of course she's nothing like her. "Hey, why can't you be more like, well I don't know like a girl."

"What's that's supposed to mean?" She said.

"Like shy and polite." I answered.

"What's that supposed to mean?!" She repeated but with a yell.

"Well I know this girl that's around your age, I guess." I said. "Not really a fighter but will when she has to."

"What's wrong with a girl fighting?" She asked angrily.

"Nothing, really. I think it's pretty cool." I said as I put her down. "Was just saying. There must be a reason why you're like this. You can tell you we're different. You won't smile and take your surrounding an alert...see ya." I was then walking away.I then felt a sharp pain in my wrist. I looked down and saw that I was wearing a pink bracelet. It looked more like a seal and had a heart in it. I turned around and looked over to her.

She smiled. "I just used Sensory Link. This spell allows me to link two different people's senses by using strong feelings of some sort between you two. Meaning the other person is connected."

"It can't be if the other person is not here." I said.

"The two of you don't have to be near each other in order for this spell to work. And the only side effect is that you'll be a little slower with your movements." She explained. "I didn't take you for a guy to have deep feelings for someone." She commented.

So if she punches me then Lucy will feel it too. Damn. I looked at her. All I have to do is defeat her. "I won't let you hurt Lucy!" I said.

"We'll see about that." She smirked.

With Natsu.

-Natsu's POV-

"This isn't fair!" I shouted. We we're at the park and all I could think about was Gray fighting Hades.

"We told you already." Lucy said. "If Master wanted us to go then he would've send us!"

"N-Natsu please calm down." Wendy said. She was sitting in the swing next to me and Lucy was in front of me.

"Wendy and Lucy are right!" Levy said standing next to Lucy.

"Even so, I want to fight!" I said pumping my fists up in the air."I want them to come back already!" When they come back it's payback. I'll put hot sauce on Gray's food, burn Jellal's homework, melt Gajeel's guitar, and kiss Lucy on the cheek so Laxus can get jealous. I put on a mischievous smile.

"Yeah. I want to see Laxus. In the meantime,why don't we go to the mall and-." Lucy began saying but stopped.

I looked at her. "Lucy you alright?" Wendy asked.

She looked at her wrist and we followed her eyes. "What's wrong" I asked.

"Lu-Chan?" Levy said worried.

"There's something on my wrist." She replied.

I looked at her right wrist and she was right. "Didn't Laxus give you that?" I asked with boredom. She shook her head. "But it's pink and has a heart on it. You like that kind of stuff right?"

"I felt a little bit of pain on my wrist and that's when I noticed it." She explained.

"Are you alright? I can heal it if it hurts." Wendy offered.

Lucy smiled at her and shook her head. "No it's fine"

"Lu-Chan, let me examine it." Levy said as Lucy lifted her hand up so Levy can see it. Her eyes widened. "I've seen this in a book before. This is actually a seal."

"A seal?" Lucy asked.

Levy nodded. "It connects two people. Laxus must be fighting someone with this power and the person must've used it on him. It links the people with this bracelet. It makes the two people's senses as one. If Laxus begins to feel pain then so will you. Any hit will effect you, Lu-Chan." Levy explained.

"W-Why me?" Lucy asked.

Levy smiled. "Laxus has one. The bracelet knows who the person likes so it immediately links it to the liking person when its used. Only if the person has strong feelings for someone...and that's you, Lucy."

Lucy blushed. My eyebrows furrowed. "So Lucy will feel pain to?!" I angrily shouted.

"I can heal the pain." Wendy said.

Levy shook her head."It will still effect her. You'll have to use it when the opponent is a bit weak. And it requires a lot magic."

Wendy nodded. "It's okay. How do you know when the user is weak?"

"The bracelet will start to begin looking light. It looks dark pink so if the user is weak it will look like a light pink."Levy said. "Are you willing to do it, Wendy?" She asked.

Wendy gave another nod. "Yeah. If it will help Lucy. I'll use it for Laxus as well."

"That bastard! He better not get hit!" I said.

"That's what I'm worried about." Lucy said. We all looked at her. "I have always worried for Laxus. I know he's strong but I've always wondered if he will come back with an injury or just a couple of scratches. I have faith that he will not lose or get injured badly. But now, if I feel the pain, I'll know he got hit, and how badly as well."

I got up from my swing and looked at her. "Lucy." I said. She looked up. I took her hand and squeezed it."Laxus must know about his already. So I know that he will try anything, and everything to stop himself from getting hit."She smiled and blushed a little by my words. "And if he does get hit then you'll feel the pain he will but his is much worse! He'll feel responsible and not only that but guilt because he'll think of you when he does feel the pain." I let go of her hand and patted her head.

"Wendy, are you sure you'll be alright?" I asked looking at Wendy.

"Yeah. I know it requires a lot of magic but I'll come through." She said determined. I smiled.

"Let's stay here just in case." Levy said.

"Okay." Lucy managed to say.

"Let's just sit in the swings and talk." Levy said.

"Talk? That's boring!" I said.

"Fine. You can go play in the playground with Wendy." Levy said.

I looked over to Wendy and she nodded. I nodded back. "Okay! No one's in the playground so it'll be more fun." I smiled and ran with Wendy to the slide.

Laxus, you better not make Lucy suffer.

Finished! I wanted to make Laxus moves slower so she has a chance because without it he would've won easily and what's so fun about that? He's no longer worried about finding Hades but he's now worried for his dear Lucy :3 Please review!
