(Jacob's P.O.V.)
It has been three months since I proposed to my Bells. A lot has happened since then. All our family and friends surprised us with a beautiful two bedroom home on the reservation next to La Push beach. So we had fun enjoying our favorite spot regularly. We also have been busy with Bella enrolling in community college that was located in Port Angeles. She is going to become a professional photographer. We're both working and I am starting my senior year of high school in a week. Needless to say it has been chaotic. The guys and I opened a mechanic shop on the border of La Push. We have been staying pretty busy and making decent money. Bells is still working at Newton's Olympic Outfitters. She has now become their full time employee.
"Honey, I'm home." I walked into our house after a long day at work.
"Hey baby, I'm in the office." she said loudly.
I took off my shoes and locked the house door before I walked to the bedroom we made into an office. As I walked into the room I saw my Bells sitting at her desk on pinterest.
"What are you looking up?" I asked her as I gave her a kiss.
"Wedding stuff. I figured since we are having a beach wedding in May that I minus. Might as well start looking up different ways we can do that." she said smiled.
"Sounds good, honey. Want me to set the table while you make dinner?" I asked.
"Yes please. That would be very helpful."
With that I walked out of the room with thoughts of what dinner was going to be, .
(Bella's P.O.V.)
'Breathe Bella. You can do this. It's your first day of college.' I gave myself a pep talk as I got out of my car. It was time to start my day and I was beyond nervous.
I walked into my college and I immediately saw a coffee shop. I stopped to get myself a muffin and a coffee so I could have a quick breakfast that would wake me up.
"Bella?" somebody behind me asked.
"Alice, Edward" I stammered.
"Oh Bella, I've missed you. How have you been?" Alice asked as she threw her arms around me.
I awkwardly pat her back as I glanced over at Edward. He just stood there with his facial expressions reading shock one second and anger the next.
"I'm amazing. Besides starting college; Jake and I got engaged three months ago and we own our own house. You guys?" I asked for the sake of being nice.
Edward quickly glanced at me and then my ring finger before an unreadable expression appeared all over his face.
"Let's go Alice." He demanded.
"Don't be so childish Edward. If you don't like it then you can just leave." she said snapped. "Let me see the ring! How did he propose?"
I chuckled at my old best friend as Edward walked off fuming. "Well how much time do you have? We have a lot to catch up on." I asked.
"I have class in 10 minutes but my lunch is at one. Do you want to connect for lunch? What time are you done?" she asked genuinely.
"My classes are done for the day by 1:30pm. Do you have anymore classes after your lunch?" I smiled.
"I have one but it doesn't start until four. Is it okay if we hang from the time you get out to the time my last class starts?"
"That's more than fine. I'll meet you back here around 1:40pm. We can go get lunch and catch up. Oh crap. I'm sorry Alice. I have to go to my class. I'll see you later."
She agreed and waved goodbye as I walked towards my first class.
-1:30pm-
My first day of classes was over. So far today was turning out to be really weird but interesting at the same time. I put my syllabus for my beginners photography class away and packed up my stuff before I walked out of the classroom. As I was on my way back to the coffee shop I grabbed my cell phone and dialed Jake.
"Hey, honey." he said devotedly.
"Hey. So you'll never believe who I saw today."
"Oh really. Who did you run into?" he prompted.
"Alice & Edward Cullen. I stopped to get a coffee on campus and there they were. Edward seemed angry. Alice gave me a big hug and wants to catch up. So I'm on my way to catch up with her. So I won't be home till a little after 4pm. Do you want me to pick you up at 5pm so we can go out to eat?"
"Wow, you haven't seen or talked to them in three months. Have fun but be careful, honey. I don't trust them after everything." he said with worry. "Ya, you picking me up will be fine. We will just have to bring me back after dinner so I can grab my car. I love you, honey."
"Love you too baby. Sounds like a plan and I'll be careful." I promised him.
I got off my phone and as I got to the coffee shop, I looked around and saw Alice waving excitedly. I walked over to her with mixed feelings not knowing how it was going to go.
"Hey Alice. You ready to go?" I asked with fake enthusiasm.
She nodded her head. "Where do you want to go to lunch?" She asked happily.
"Let's take my car and go to Subway. I will drive back here to drop you off for your last class with enough time. Is that okay?" I asked.
She agreed and followed me. "You said car. What happened to the truck?" she asked with wonder.
"A month after I broke up with Edward it broke down. So I bought a used Toyota Camry." I said walking up to my car.
Alice was right behind me walking quietly. "Bella, what happened that you broke up with Edward and walked away from the rest of us? You and I were best friends and you never even looked back."She asked as I started the car and backed out of the parking spot.
I took a deep breath before I jumped into the mess that was about Edward and me. "Your brother never told you?"
"No. I have asked him many times and he won't give me anything. He just tells me it doesn't concern me." she answered with hurt in her eyes.
"Let's get our food and drink and then I will explain everything." I said as I parked the car at our destination.
She nodded her head and we walked into Subway.
~ 15 Minutes Later ~
We sat down in a booth and started digging into our food. Alice sat and waited for me to explain.
"Six months into our relationship I came over to your parents place. No one was home but the door was unlocked. I walked in and called all of your names. No one answered so I walked each floor and when I got to the third floor. I found Edward having sex with Lauren Mallory." I stopped to take a bite and Alice had her mouth hanging open and she looked livid. "Let me finish what I have to say before anything. I flipped out at him while Lauren grabbed her clothes and left. I started to walk away and he grabbed me by the arm. I told him to let me go and to go to hell. He didn't like that too much and smacked me in the face. I ran out to my car and left. The week he told you all I was at my mom's over MEA week. I was settling in my room not talking to him or anybody. When he saw me after that week he apologized, told me he loved me and begged for me back. I was too stupid and wanting love that I took him back. I told him he had to stop immediately seeing and having sex with Lauren and no more hitting me. He agreed and we pretended it never happened. That only lasted till the week before I broke up with him. I caught him again in bed with Lauren. So when I saw Jake a week later and he told me how he has always loved me. It opened my eyes and I finally figured out that I have loved him since we were kids. So I went for it. I know it was wrong and I hurt everyone but I had to do this for me and to move on."
I finished my sub and started on my chips as I waited for Alice to collect her thoughts. All I could read from her face was how mad she was.
"That jerk! How could he do that to you? You are way more beautiful than her. We were also raised to never hit a woman and he did it anyways. Our parents will be hearing about this." she said with a look that looked like she was going to kill something. "I'm so sorry that he did those things to you. Why didn't you come to us about it or press charges?"
"Would you guys have believed me if I did? I didn't press charges cause I didn't want to explain it to my dad and have the whole town know.' I said as I shrugged my shoulders.
"No, probably not. Edward would of spun it so bad that he would probably make you into the bad guy. You know him and Lauren are together and she is 3 months pregnant right?" she asked while that information was trying to sink into my brain.
"I didn't know that. I hope they're happy together. Oh, it's 3:40pm. I should get you back to campus." I said as I stood up and threw my garbage away.
"Sounds good. I have two questions to ask you though before we go. One does Jake know about everything and two are you happy?" She asked heartfully.
"Yes, I told him everything the first week we were together. Yes for the first time in my life and he is my person. He gets me in ways no one else can. "I said with a smile.
"Good, glad you're happy. That's all I've ever wanted for you. Now let's go." she grinned.
We got in my car and took off. On the way to campus we talked about staying connected and working on our friendship.
(Jacob's P.O.V.)
I was working on my last car for the day when I saw my Bells walk into the shop.
"Hey Bella. Jake is just working on the last car of the day. He shouldn't be too much longer." Sam said as he greeted her.
"Perfect, boss man" She teased. " I will say hi and then go wait in the waiting room."
He nodded in agreement as he laughed at the nickname she gave him since he was my boss. She started walking over to me after she said goodbye to Sam.
"Hey, honey. How was your first day of school?" I asked as I gave her a kiss.
"Good. I will tell you more when you get off. I was thinking of inviting both of our dad's. Is that okay?"
She knew I could never say no to her. She was my whole world and anything she wanted I made sure she would get.
"Of course. I will be done in a half hour." I said as I kissed her again.
"Ok I will go I'll drive to your dad's now and get him. We will be back when you get off. I love you." she kissed me one last time and walked out of the shop.
'How did I get this lucky to have a smart, hot, funny and family oriented lady?' I thought to myself.
I shook my head to clear it and went back to work.
(Bella's P.O.V.)
I pulled up to Billy's and parked my car. I hadn't visited him in a week because it has been super busy. I tried to visit once a week but it didn't always happen.
"Hey Bella, come on in." My future father in law said to me as he opened the door. "What's up?"
"Figured I'd stop by to visit and see if you wanted to go out to dinner with Jake and I. We are going to invite Dad too." I said as I sat on the sofa.
"Of course. Do you want me to call your dad?" Billy asked.
"Ya let him know we will meet him at our spot in an hour." I said as I stood up to fold the clean towels that were sitting in a basket on the chair.
Billy nodded and went to call my dad. I just had put his folded towels away when he wheeled back into the room.
"He says he will see us there. When does Jake get off?" he asked.
"In 15 minutes. I folded and put the towels away for ya." I said as I sat back on the sofa.
"You are too good to me Bella. Can you help me get a few things before we leave to go get Jake?" he asked.
I nodded my head and followed Billy to the next room.
(Alice's P.O.V.)
I got out of my final class of the day and headed towards my car. Since I had hung with Bella earlier I had been fuming thinking of everything Edward did to her. I instantly called Emmett and Rosalie as I get into the car.
"Hey Alice. How are you?" They asked at the same time.
"I'd be better if I hadn't just found out a couple hours ago what Edward did to Bella well they were dating." I replied heartbroken for Bella.
"What are you talking about?" Rosalie asked concerned.
"Edward and I bumped into Bella today at school. Her and I went out to lunch to catch up. I asked her what happened that they broke up and why weren't we friends anymore." I said taking a pause as I backed out of my spot.
"What did she say?" Emmett asked this time.
"Edward cheated on her twice with Lauren and Bella walked in on them both times. Then if that wasn't enough he hit her in the face." I angerly explained.
"That twatwaffle!" Rose seethed.
"He knows better than hitting a woman. That explains why Bella just walked away from all of us and why Lauren is 3 months pregnant." Emmett said disappointed.
"I'm 25 minutes away from home. Can you two get Mom and Dad out of the house? Take them to the local pizza place. I will meet you up there and we can let mom and dad know everything." I said wanting to get this over with.
"Yep will do. See ya then." Emmett said.
"We will make sure twatwaffle and whoreo don't come with." Rose assured me.
With that all done I got off the phone and headed to the restaurant.
(Bella's P.O.V.)
We left the restaurant after having a good time with our fathers. It was always full of laughs, reminiscing, or what was going on currently with us.
"Tonight is a good way to end my 1st day of college." I said to Billy. Jake was helping his dad get into the car.
"Good, glad you enjoyed it." Billy said with a smile.
"Me too dad. She had a stressful day." My man said as he squeezed my hand in reassurance.
I squeezed his hand back and then drove back to the Reservation in silence.
~ 25 Minutes ~
We got to Billy's and I shut the car off once I pulled into the driveway.
"I am going to bring dad in and get him ready for bed, honey. Then I will be right out." he said as he gave me a kiss.
"Sounds good. Night Billy. Thanks for coming." I said with a smile.
Billy just laughed as they were almost to the house and he shouted "Like id ever say no to food."
I knew it was going to take a bit for Jake to get Billy ready for the night so I turned on my radio. Leona Lewis 'Better In Time' song was playing. It couldn't have been a more perfect song for what happened today. I have moved on from Edward and I'm madly in love with Jacob. All the hurt from this last year was there and it was going to take time to get past it.

As the song ended Jake came out of his dad's house. I wiped my tears and put a smile on my face.
(Jacob's P.O.V.)
I got in Bells car and saw she had been crying. "Honey, what's wrong? You've been crying." I asked concerned.
"It's from the emotions of telling Alice everything that happened between Edward and I. On top of it she told me Edward and Lauren are going to have a kid. I guess it effected me more than I thought it would." She said wiping her tears.
"You know I am always here for you and how much I love you right?" I asked her. I wanted her to be reminded of the conversation we had when we first got together and she told me everything.
"I know baby. I know how much you love me and will never do those things to me. I just needed to have a good cry. I love you." she said as she gave me a kiss before starting the car.
"I love you too, honey. Forever and for always." I smiled as I held her hand as she drove to my work to drop me off so I could grab my car before we head home for the night.
