Mmrph. Sorry I'm being so random, but my brain is dead except for this story o_o I'm on Spring Break, so I've got no mental focus and all the time in the world to type this up :D
Notes:
Sailor Moon is owned by Naoko Takeuchi and TOEI Animation.
Minako is floating on pink clouds of fuzzy-softness. She sighs in content. Everything feels so perfect.
But, in the distance, she hears a struggle, making her frown. She also thinks she faintly feels a tingling sensation in certain places of her body: on the back of her head; her arms; her legs; her torso. Just about all over.
The sounds of fighting come closer, and she groans. She feels so tired, she just wants to rest. She comfy where she is, and she doesn't wanna get hurt. For all she knows, they could be thugs, who could twist her neck and kill her in a second. She doesn't want that. She's got so much life left to live. She'd have to say goodbye to all her friends and stuffed toys…
She flinches away from the thought. She doesn't want to think of such uncomfy things while she's so cozy. She brings some of the clouds over her body like blankets, and curls up, trying to fall into a deeper sleep.
As she grows closer still, she recognizes the voices, though she can't place them. One screams while the other laughs maniacally. The laughing voice shouts something, but only two words reach Minako: "Sailor Moon!" The woman cackles again.
Sailor Venus opens her eyes and sits up, and then hisses in pain. Every place that was merely tingling before is throbbing in pain now. She looks down at her body to see that she's covered in blood. Her fuku is destroyed. She stands up carefully and grits her teeth.
Kuroi is holding Sailor Moon in a choke hold and shoves a knife into her side. Venus points a finger at Kuroi, and puts a hand on that arm. "Crescent…" she whispers, then screams, "BEAM!" A ray of golden light fires from her finger and hits Kuroi on the forehead, causing her to fall back and let go of Sailor Moon who grunts as she falls to her knees.
"Sailor Moon!" Venus shouts as she runs to catch her before she hits the floor.
"Pull it…" she whispers and her breath becomes heavy and uneven. "Out… please…" she finishes.
"Well, aren't you just a perfect masochist today?" someone says. Venus turns to see Tuxedo Mask struggling to join them.
"Good morning," she says with false pleasure. He rolls his eyes, and she sniffs. They've never gotten along. "Where were you? Candy Land?"
"I bet that's where you were, isn't it?"
"Oh, you're just-!"
"I'm just what?!"
"Stop it!" Sailor Moon yells, standing up. "If I'd known it would cause so much trouble, I would've just done it myself in the first place." She starts walking off, then turns back around. "Neither of you are thinking straight! I asked her to pull it out because it's not a bad wound!"
"Not a bad wound?! It's pushed all the way in!"
"I've had worse! Don't yell at me until you've been stabbed in the stomach with a sword that's supposed to kill you instantly!" Then, she shrieks as she's tackled to the ground by Kuroi. She hisses.
"I'm gonna kill you!" Kuroi roars.
"I'm gonna kill you!" Kuroi snarls.
"Not while I'm around!" Tuxedo Mask counters, and attacks Kuroi with a growl. He rolls over with her in his grip, and when they've stopped, she starts clawing at his face for him to let go.
Sailor Moon jumps on top of her and grabs her by her upper jaw, sticking her fingers under her top teeth. She winces at the sharp pain, but otherwise is fine. She flips her over her head, and stands up, placing one boot on her stomach.
Kuroi laughs like a lunatic. "You'll never catch me alive, coppers!" she says, and giggles some more.
"You are insane," Sailor Moon says, and holds a hand out like she's grabbing something. A long staff appears in her grip. It has a white handle and a large crescent moon on top made from the "Legendary Silver Crystal". A mysterious wind blows through the room as the Crystal glows, lighting up the room. Kuroi continues snickering. "O Great White Moon, thy powers are requested to help this woman become healthy once more! Grant us with thy strength, that we might live together peacefully! Moonlight Healing!" The warm light fills the room, and then dissipates, leaving a calm aura in its wake.
All of the senshi sit up, their wounds healed. The Kurushimi Co. sit up as well, fully healed, and hold their heads. "It feels like… I was just watching a long dream…" Ikuto says.
"I was… evil. It was odd," Hikari says.
"That person is…!" Ryouko says, seeing a woman praying, hovering by Kuroi. The woman is wearing a flowing, white dress and odango pigtails, just like… Sailor Moon's… She also wears a tiara made of gold.
The woman lifts her head, and the senshi gasp. "Neo Queen Serenity…!"
Kuroi sits up, and looks up in awe at the woman called Neo Queen Serenity. Then she smiles warmly. "Thank you…" she whispers.
Serenity floats down to the ground, and offers a hand up to Kuroi. Kuroi takes it, and stands with her support. Kuroi embraces Serenity, and Serenity takes her into her arms.
"I'm sorry," Kuroi says as tears roll down her face.
"It's alright now," Serenity says in a soothing voice. "You're okay. We're safe." Kuroi bursts into sobs, and Serenity holds her tighter. "You're clean."
They stand on the roof of the apartment building that the Celestial Trio lives in. Usagi sniffs dismally. "I hate goodbyes," she says through tears. Mamoru squeezes her shoulder, and she buries her face in her hands.
Kuroi walks towards Usagi. Usagi lifts her head and Kuroi wipes her tears away. "Why are you crying? For the whole time I was here, I only caused you grief."
"Because I love you… You may have made some bad decisions, but I don't care. I love you. You're like family to me. The thing that pained me the most was that you couldn't see how I loved you. Remember when we were children, long ago?"
Seven-year-old Princess Serenity was running. Running to the other side. Her mother had warned her to stay away from those people, but she didn't listen. She wanted to play with her friend, Kuroi.
She stopped to catch her breath and looked behind her to see if one of her Guardians was following her. The coast was clear! She smiled triumphantly. Not too far from where she stood was there rendezvous, the line that separated the Light from the Dark. She runs a little farther until she reaches it.
"It's about time!" Kuroi said. "I was wondering if you'd come or not!"
"Of course I came! I just had a hard time leaving! They don't want me playing with you."
Kuroi frowned. "That's a little rude, don't you think? I thought royalty had manners!"
Serenity shrugged. "I don't know. Did you bring your dollhouse?"
"Yeah, it's here." Kuroi sat criss-cross on the ground, and Serenity joined her. "Did you bring the dolls?"
Serenity shrugged out of her backpack and brought it to her lap. "Right here." She unzipped the pack and dumped out the contents, tons of Barbie dolls and accessories.
And so, the girls laughed and played without a care in the world.
Kuroi smiles as she remembers. "We used to always sneak out to play with each other at the border. I remember I would bring the dollhouse and you would bring the dolls. I remember you were always a little late because you had to get past security."
Usagi laughs. "Yeah! Those were the days! You should come by more often, so we can hang out!"
Kuroi smiles. "Of course. I'm sorry for everything that happened."
Usagi shakes her head. "Don't worry about it. You weren't yourself."
"Well, then, I guess I'll see ya later."
"Okay… Bye, then! Say hello to your mother for me, alright?"
Kuroi smirks. "Right. See ya." She walks back to join her people, and waves. Then, they disappear, and Usagi bursts into sobs. Mamoru holds her tightly, consoling her.
(stretches) Ah, so glad that's over with :3 Now they have a wedding to plan for, with Akira and Jose's help this time :D
