Sailor Moon is owned by Naoko Takeuchi-sensei and TOEI Animation! I never expected this story to reach forty chapters haha! I expected, like, 5 max hahaha!

A bright white light fills the room, and Sailor Moon and Lucifer both scream in agony.

"Guys, let's help her! Neo Mercury Power!"

"Neo Mars Power!"

"Neo Jupiter Power!"

"Neo Venus Power!"

"Uranus Cosmic Power!"

"Neptune Cosmic Power!"

"Saturn Cosmic Power!"

"Pluto Cosmic Power!"

The light fades out, and Sailor Moon rolls off of him, exhausted. Tuxedo Mask hurries to her. "Are you alright?"

Before she can answer, she hears a laugh coming from the man she thought she just purified. Her blood runs cold. She wasn't… strong enough?

`Dammit, Blondie, I knew I shouldn't have given you the wheel! Now we're exhausted and he's just fine!`

Usagi ignores her. "But… But— But— But—!"

"You thought you could defeat me, didn't you?" Lucifer laughs as he sits up. He only looks the slightest bit worn.

"That's impossible. You... You're not—"

"You see, Sailor Moon," Lucifer says with a smirk, "you are not as strong as you think you are. No matter how strong you may be, there will always be someone stronger than you are, Strongest Soldier in the Galaxy.

"You may have taken down my essence, Chaos, but that was years ago, and Chaos is just a weak thing compared to me. Do you know what I do to weak things?"

Usagi doesn't answer, too afraid of his response.

He chuckles, and just as suddenly as he shot her he is crushing her windpipe, cutting off her airway. She's been choked before, but not quite like this. Before had been out of hate. This is like a housecat playing with a bug or small animal. This is murderous but playful, as though it's just a game of chess to him, and she is sure she will die.

"Usako!" Tuxedo Mask shouts as she suffers.

"Mamo-chan," she mouths, unable to speak. "Save me..."

Tux grabs onto Lucifer's arm, trying to pry it away from her burning throat to save her burning lungs.

With his free arm, Lucifer throws Tux off of him, and proceeds to cast a spell on the senshi that freezes them where they stand. They seem to be fighting against it to no avail.

"Mamo-chan," Sailor Moon mouths again, only more desperate as she loses consciousness.

"Ergh..." Tux groans, and closes his eyes, seeming to focus. A light flashes across his body as he becomes King Endymion, and Sailor Moon smiles with the last of her energy. Her eyes slide shut as she approaches unconsciousness. She focuses on the pain in her throat to keep herself awake.

Endymion bodyslams Lucifer, causing him to lose his grip. Sailor Moon drops to the floor, coughing heavily.

`I'm taking over now.` She stands carefully, leaning against the wall, and walks over to where Endymion and Lucifer wrestle. She cracks her knuckles and, with a smirk, asks, "Room for one more?"

"Jump right in, sis," Endymion says, obviously knowing the difference between his sister and his fiancée.

"Neo Earth Power, Make-Up!" Sailor Earth takes her Whip and, as hard as she can, cracks it onto Lucifer's back, carefully missing her brother. She cracks it again and again and again. "For everything you've done to me! To Haru! To Usagi!" Endymion rolls out of the way to keep safe, and the others' spell seems to wear off, as Lucifer is too distracted to keep it up.

"Mars Phoenix Love!"

"Venus Love Goddess Embrace!"

"Neptune Raging Tsunami!"

"Uranus Swirling Tornado!"

"Saturn Death Sentence!"

"Element: Fire! Crimson Lotus!"

"Solar Flare!"

"Sailor Sun," Earth says with a grin. "Let's do our thing!" `That means 'get out' Blondie!`

`Well, maybe I will!` Usagi retorts playfully. She exits Akira's body, causing her to feel dizzy.

They take one another's hands, forming a triangle with their backs pressed against each other.

"Sun!"

"Moon!"

"Earth!"

Together, they say, "By the powers that be in the Celestial Heavens and the Ground on which we stand, give us the strength to defeat all enemies that stand in our path! Celestial Judgment!"

As the effects of the spell fade out, Usagi falls, completely out of power.

"Usako!" is the last thing she hears.

"Usako!" Endymion shouts, and runs to catch her.

"Take her home, Mamoru," Sailor Earth says. "We can handle things here. She needs rest."

After a moment, Endymion nods. "Thank you, Akira. I'll leave it to you."

Earth watches as he picks Usagi up and leaves. When he's gone, she looks back at her comrades and grins. "Now we can get serious."

Endymion takes Usagi in his arms and runs down the hall, away from his comrades. It feels wrong to leave them, but he knows they can handle it, especially Akira.

"We have to go down, right?" Usagi says weakly.

Endymion nods. "Yeah."

"We'll go faster this way."

No sooner had she said it, Endymion loses his balance, but rather than falling, he floats. "What the—?"

Usagi giggles, holding onto his shoulder so he doesn't float away. "Now we can just phase through the floors instead of having to trek! Isn't it great?"

"Um, okay..."

She laughs again. "Take my hand and I'll guide you."

He takes her hand, and the descent is quick, passing through all one-hundred-something floors in a matter of seconds.

When they finally land in the lobby where all but Usagi had entered about forty hours before and are solid again, her knees buckle. Endymion catches her before she hits the ground, supporting her. "Are you alright?"

"Just a little lightheaded," she says, and then adds, "and tired."

"Usagi?"

They both turn at the sound of her name, and Usagi's eyes widen. "P-Papa?!" Tears well up. "Papa!" She runs to him, burying her head in his chest. "Oh, my God, Papa!" she sobs into his shirt.

"You're so grown up! How old are you?"

"You're a man now, Mamoru."

"I'm twenty!"

"Wow, I can't believe it!"

"Papa, I—"

"Kenji! There you are! I was worried when you didn't come back!"

"Mama!" Usagi cries, and Endymion can hear the thickness in her voice. He smiles. She's such a sweet girl, and it pains him to know that she leads such a hard life. "Mama, Papa, since you're both here..." she continues. "Gosh, I didn't know I'd have the opportunity to say this!" She takes a deep breath and blushes, and Endymion knows what she'll say next. She looks at him lovingly. "On August twenty-first..." She takes another deep breath and looks back at her parents. "We're getting married."

"WHAT?!"

"That's wonderful, honey! I'm so happy for you!" Ikuko embraces her daughter and Kenji gives his future son-in-law the evil eye.

"Have you already picked out a dress?"

"Actually, my friend Makoto—you remember Makoto—"

"Uh-huh."

"—made the dress! And she made all the bridesmaids dresses and the groomsmen tuxes! Isn't it great?"

"Definitely! Oh, that's wonderful! I remember my wedding..."

Kenji walks over to Endymion, hands in his pockets.

Endymion swallows, and nods his head in awkward greeting. "Tsukino-san."

"Listen, uh, Mamoru, is it?" Endymion nods again. "I've been thinking about your actions since you've been here, and I've found that you're a good man," Kenji says through his teeth. "I personally know how truly frightening Lucifer Hades can be, and you have not shown a shred of fear. A bit of stress, possibly, but nobody blames you. I think you will be a good husband to my daughter. I don't think I would have another man for her. Just be careful."

Endymion's eyes widen. He can't believe his ears. "R-Really?! Thank you, Tsukino-san!" he says, bowing.

"Just Kenji is fine."

"K-Kenji?"

"Yeah?"

"Thank you."

"Yeah."

When Mamoru and Usagi arrive home, she looks around for her body. "You're in the spare room," he says. She nods and walks to that room. She sees herself lying on the floor, her chest rising and falling very slowly. It's weird, really, to see yourself outside of your body. A literal out-of-body experience.

She touches the face, taking everything in for one last moment before getting sucked back in.

Instead of opening her eyes, she drifts into a deep sleep, unable to return to the shore of consciousness.

"Usako?" Mamoru calls, wondering why she hasn't come out yet. He enters the room where she lay to see just her body there on the bed. He sees that her color has returned and feels her face to find it warmer than he'd left it.

At least she got in all right. Of course she's exhausted. She performed two powerful spells, one outside her body, one in another's body, and was nearly choked to death. He notices bruises on her neck, finding it interesting that, though it wasn't her body that was injured, the wounds exist there.

He pulls a chair from the small desk and sits by the bed, waiting for her eyes to open.
