Hey guys! Sorry this chapter took so long. It was a rough semester last semester, and my laptop has all but stopped working - I'm using a tablet that likes to delete what I type at random, which really slows the writing process down.

Bit of the 12th Doctor here. If you haven't seen season nine yet, don't worry. It doesn't really contain any spoilers, just a little piece of fun that you'll get if you've seen the next season.

Chapter 16: Voyage of the Damned

The Doctor leapt to his feet, quickly readjusting the controls. The TARDIS quickly pushed the Titanic out as Freya stood, trying to keep Lil' Red calm as she did. Bad Wolf seemed shaky as well.

"There. We've landed. Let's go get dressed up," the Doctor said, a small smile on his face.

"For the 1910s?" Freya asked.

"Well, I'd go for a more universal version of the teens, but yes, something like that. The TARDIS'll help you," he said.

"Want to take Bad Wolf and pick him out an outfit?" Freya asked, offering her son's hand to the Doctor. The Doctor beamed down at his son and all but bounced along, dragging the child alongside him. Bad Wolf sent Freya a begging look as his father dragged him along.

Freya followed at a slower speed, allowing the TARDIS to shift the hallways to the Wardrobe room. When she entered, there were two racks in the front, waiting on her. One with clothes her size, and one was filled with garments in newborn sizes. Freya quickly found a dress for herself and browed the outfits for Lil' Red.

She found a mini dress that matched the style of the one she picked. Freya slipped it on the child before putting on her own dress.

On her way out of the room, she noticed a bag blocking the door.

"Diaper bag," she read the slip of paper on top of it, nodding and slipping it over her shoulder.

She had a feeling she'd be needing it.

She met the Doctor in the console room, where he was trying to talk Bad Wolf into leaving the bowtie on his neck.

"Come on. It looks good," the Doctor tried.

"No," Bad Wolf said petulantly.

"Come on, Ezek. Just humor your father," Freya said as she entered. Bad Wolf sighed but left the neckpiece alone. The Doctor grinned at her, wrapping an arm around her waist as he grabbed Bad Wolf's hand.

"Come along! Let's explore the Titanic!" the Doctor said gleefully.

"Peacefully? Or do you suppose something'll happen?" Freya asked.

"I'd like to say peacefully," the Doctor told her honestly.

"Which means something'll happen. Come on. We have to be careful though," Freya warned him.

"Yes. We do," the Doctor agreed as he smiled down at Lil' Red. He led them out the door, keeping each of them in his grip.

They made their way out of the door and into a room decorated for Christmas. Everyone appeared to be in 1910s clothing. But with technology.

A reenactment then?

A screen showed a bald man with a mustache, sitting at a desk.

"Max Capricorn Cruiseliners. The fastest. The farthest. The best. And I should know because my name is Max," the man said, a gold tooth glinting in the light as if to emphasize his words. The Doctor pulled her away from the screen and towards the room.

"Merry Christmas, sir, Madame," a steward said.

"Merry Christmas!" the Doctor responded with a smile.

"I love Christmas," the Doctor added, turning to Freya. Freya offered him a smile as well.

"Our Christmases always turn out…adventurous," Freya pointed out.

"Ooh! Look at those!" the Doctor said, pointing to a golden angel.

"Doctor. Remember the Santa Clauses?" Freya said, trying to hold him back.

"Yeah, but these are on display," the Doctor argued.

"So were the Christmas trees," Freya reminded him.

"I'll go. Stay behind me then," the Doctor told her, giving her a serious look. He handed Bad Wolf's hand to her and stepped in front of her before slowly approaching the angel, sonic screwdriver in hand.

"Evening. Passenger fifty-seven, fifty-eight, fifty-nine, and sixty. Terrible memory, we have. Remind us. You would be?" the Doctor rambled.

"Information. Heavenly Host supplying tourist information," the angel droned.

"Heavenly Host? That sounds…I don't like it," Freya warned him.

"It'll be fine," the Doctor reassured her before turning back to the angel, "Good. So tell me, because I'm an idiot and my wife refuses to tell me what I was told before, where are we from?" the Doctor asked, scratching the back of his head with his sonic screwdriver.

"Information. The Titanic is en route from the planet Sto in the Cassavalian Belt. The purpose of the cruise is to experience primitive cultures," the angel said in the same monotonous voice.

"Titanic. Who thought of the name?" Freya asked curiously from behind the Doctor.

"Information. It was chosen as the most famous vessel of the planet Earth," the angel said.

"That's the last name I'd put on a ship," Freya murmured.

"Is this the ship's first trip?" Freya asked, stepping to the side of the Doctor.

"Information. This is the Titanic's maiden voyage."

"Did they tell you why the Titanic was famous?" the Doctor asked as well.

"Information. All designations are chosen by Mister Max Capricorn, president of Max, Max, Max, Max, Max," the angel said, twitching violently as its voice changed. The Doctor stepped back quickly, arms raised to keep Freya, Bad Wolf and Lil' Red behind him.

"Bit of a glitch," the Doctor said, but his voice was colder, more calculating. Two stewards approached them quickly, each taking a place on the angel's sides.

"Software problem, that's all. Leave it with us, sir, madame. Merry Christmas," the one steward said. They dragged it away, but were muttering to each other as they did.

"That's another one down. What's going on with these things?" the second steward asked the first one.

"We need to stay away from them," Freya urged the Doctor.

"I think you might be right," the Doctor agreed quietly. He led them away from the angels and back towards the center of the room. While they were walking, Freya noticed the man she's seen earlier talking on his phone collide with a waitress. He immediately began chewing her out for the collision, despite it being his fault.

As soon as he stormed off, Freya moved towards her.

"Stay there, Bad Wolf. Here. Let me help you," Freya said, bending over. Bad Wolf stood a few steps back, staring awkwardly at them.

"You don't have to do that," the waitress reassured her, but Freya shook her head.

"Nonsense. That guy's an arsehole. Come on," Freya said.

"Did you hear what he said? This company's apparently going down the drain," the Doctor piped up as he turned around. When he noticed Freya on the ground assisting the waitress, he quickly took her place.

"Careful! There we go," the Doctor said as he helped her finish it all.

"Thank you sir, madame. I can manage," the girl said. The Doctor stood, as did the stewardess.

"We never said you couldn't. I'm the Doctor, by the way. This is my wife, Freya, and our children, Bad Wolf and Lil' Red," the Doctor said with a smile.

"Astrid, sir. Astrid Perth," the waitress told them.

"Nice to meet you, Astrid Perth. Merry Christmas," Freya said earnestly.

"Merry Christmas Madame, Sir," Astrid said.

"Just the Doctor and the Mrs, not sir," the Doctor told her with a smile.

"You enjoying the cruise?" Astrid asked, directing her question to Freya. Freya couldn't keep the smile from her face at the girl's actions.

She was directing her questions and comments to Freya, instead of the Doctor. She was making it obvious that she wanted nothing to do with the Doctor as a man, merely to talk to them politely.

It was a move Freya appreciated immensely, especially after Martha and how Martha acted.

"We are, thank you," Freya said, giving her an appreciative nod.

"How about you? Are you enjoying working it?" the Doctor asked curiously.

"I spent three years working at the spaceport diner, so it doesn't feel much different from back home," Astrid said, pasting a smile to her face.

"Travelling all over the universe and you're still waiting tables? That sucks," Freya said sympathetically.

"Do you not have any shore leave?" the Doctor asked.

"We're not allowed. They can't afford the insurance. I just wanted to try it, just once. I used to watch the ships heading out to the stars and I always dreamt of…it sounds daft," Astrid said sadly.

"You dreamt of travelling. Of seeing another sky," Freya said softly.

"New sun, new air, new life. A whole universe teeming with life. Why stand still when there's all that life out there?" the Doctor asked.

"Do you guys travel a lot?" Astrid asked, eyes shining at the thought.

"All the time. Just for fun," the Doctor said with a smile.

"Well, that's the plan. Never quite works out that way," Freya pointed out, smiling at the Doctor's sheepish grin.

"Must be rich, then. To be able to have a family of four and travel," Astrid said.

"Haven't got a penny. Stowaways," the Doctor said with a wink.

"You're kidding," Astrid said, eyes going wide.

"Seriously," the Doctor reassured her with a grin.

"No," Astrid repeated, not believing it for a second.

"Oh yeah. Usually gets us in a lot of trouble," Freya said, elbowing the Doctor.

"How did you get on board?" Astrid asked.

"Accident. I've got this sort of…ship thing," the Doctor tried.

"He was rebuilding her and left the defenses down on our ship and bumped into the Titanic. Totally his luck," Freya said with an eyeroll.

"Here we are then. Bit of a party. I thought, why not? Lil' Red needs to have her first party sometime," the Doctor said with a grin.

"I should report you," Astrid said, eyes wide.

"Go on then," the Doctor said with a wide smile.

"I'll get you both a drink. On the house," she said with a wink to Freya.

"I like her," Freya decided.

"Oh?" the Doctor asked.

"Yeah. She's very respectful," Freya said.

"How so?" the Doctor asked, clueless.

"She's making sure I know she's not flirting with you. She's being very polite and respectful," Freya said.

"Huh. That's what she was doing?" the Doctor asked.

"Yes," Freya said.

A loud group of people were laughing at a table near them. Laughing and pointing at a couple in purple cowboy outfits. The Doctor pulled Freya and Bad Wolf towards the purple couple.

"Just ignore them," the man told his wife.

"Something's tickled them," the Doctor commented.

"They told us it was fancy dress. Very funny, I'm sure," the woman said with a sniff as she grabbed another piece of meat, eating it quickly.

"They're just picking on us because we haven't paid. We won our tickets in a competition," the man said. Freya tuned them out when someone across the room caught her attention. Someone walking their way.

Freya stood, ignoring the Doctor's conversation with the couple.

"Freya? Doctor?"

Standing there was Bad Wolf and Captain Jack Harkness.

"What are you doing here?" Freya asked the two, wide-eyed.

"Vacation. Decided we could take a trip without the wives," Jack said.

"They weren't happy when they got the message, I'm sure," Bad Wolf said.

"But we needed a brocation," Jack said with a wink, slinging an arm around Bad Wolf's shoulders.

"Is that mini-me?" Bad Wolf asked, pointing at little Bad Wolf as he pulled Jack's arms from his shoulders.

"Yes. Bad Wolf, this is your older self. Bad Wolf, meet mini-you," Freya said with a grin.

"Mini. Great nickname. I'll have to use it on you when we get back. I'm sure River'll love calling you Mini," Jack said mischievously.

"I'm sure she would. Which is why you aren't going to tell her," Bad Wolf said quickly. Jack shook his head and glanced at the couple sitting next to the Doctor.

"Hello. Captain Jack Harkness. And who might you two be?" Jack asked with a dirty grin.

"I'm Foon Van Hoff, and this is my husband Morvin," the woman said with a grin.

"Don't start," the Doctor said with a sigh.

"I'm Freya, and this is my husband the Doctor. This is my son Bad Wolf, daughter Lil' Red, and these are…friends of ours. Bad Wolf and Captain Jack Harkness," Freya said.

"Two Bad Wolfs? That's a big coincidence," Morvin said with a frown.

"You can call him Ezek," Freya said, pointing to mini-Bad Wolf.

"You're a Doctor?" Foon asked eagerly.

"Yes. The Doctor, to be more precise," the Doctor said with a grin.

"I'm going to need a Doctor, time I've finished with that buffet. Have a buffalo wing. They must be enormous, these buffalo. So many wings," Foon commented as Jack and Bad Wolf sat down. Freya took a seat as well, allowing Ezek to sit on her lap.

"Attention please, shore leave tickets Red Six Seven now activated. Red Six Seven," an announcement said. Foon sat her buffalo wing down and dabbed at her lips.

"Red Six Seven. That's us. Are you Red Six Seven?" she asked.

"Might as well be," the Doctor said with a grin, standing as well. He helped Freya up, Ezek and Lil' Red as Jack and Bad Wolf joined them.

"There might be too many of us to be discrete," Bad Wolf murmured.

"We'll gage it out when we get closer," Freya murmured back to him.

"Come along then! We're going to Earth!" Morvin said with a wide grin. The lot of them made their way over to a man holding up a sign.

"Red Six Seven. Red Six Seven, this way, as fast as you can," the man urged. Astrid made her way over to them offering Freya a drink.

"I got you that drink," she said.

"Later. Come on," Freya said, grabbing her wrist and pulling them over. Gin.

"Red Six Seven departing shortly," the man with the sign said. The Doctor held up his psychic paper, glancing at the lot of them.

"Red Six Seven, the four…five, six, seven of us," the Doctor said as he counted them.

"Quickly, sir, grab your teleport bracelets if you would.

"Brand new sky," Freya said softly to Astrid as the Doctor grabbed a multitude of bracelets and passed them out.

"To repeat, I am Mister Copper, the ship's historian. I shall be taking you old London town in the country of UK, ruled over by good King Wenceslas. Now, human beings worship the great god Santa, creature with fearsome claws, and his wife Mary. And every Christmas Eve, they people of UK go to war with the country of Turkey. Then they eat the Turkey people for Christmas dinner, like savages," the man said solemnly. Freya's eyebrows shot up.

"Excuse me, sir; where did you get your information?" Bad Wolf asked politely, staring at him with eyes as wide as Freya's.

"Well, I have a first class degree in Earthonomics. Now, stand by," the man said.

"Wish I'd studied at his school. That's some history I can get behind," Jack said with a wink and a nudge to Bad Wolf. Bad Wolf rolled his eyes and shook his head.

The two's banter was interrupted by a little red alien running up to the group.

"And me! And me! Red Six Seven!" the alien said eagerly.

"Well, take a bracelet, please, sir," Mr. Copper said without batting an eyelid. The Doctor surged forward.

"But, er, hold on. What was your name?" the Doctor asked, staring at the tiny alien.

"Bannakaffalatta," the alien said simply.

"Blimey, that's almost as bad as Raxacoricofallapatorius," Bad Wolf grumbled.

"You're telling me," Jack responded.

"Okay, Bannakaffalatta. But it's Christmas Eve down there. Late night shopping, tons of people. He's like a talking conker, no offense. You'll cause a riot because the streets are going to packed with shoppers and parties and…" the Doctor was cut off by the teleport beams going off. They landed on a deserted street, no shoppers around. Freya eyed the place suspiciously, gripping Lil' Red closer to her chest as little Ezek gripped her leg, his own eyes darting around suspiciously.

The Doctor spun around a few times, staring with wide eyes at the streets.

"Oh," he said simply.

"Now, spending money. I have a credit card in Earth currency if you want to buy trinkets, or stockings, or the local delicacy, which is known as beef. But don't stray too far. It could be dangerous. Any day now they start boxing," Mr. Copper warned, his face serious.

"Man, why couldn't your history classes been like this? I wouldn't have minded going with you," Jack complained.

"You didn't have to go with me to begin with. You're the one who wouldn't leave me alone," Bad Wolf complained, shoving Jack slightly.

"The streets should be full, busy. Where are all the shoppers? Something's wrong," the Doctor said. Freya tugged the children with her over to a stand selling newspapers. Newspapers would have information, Freya decided. She left Bad Wolf, Jack, and the Doctor with Astrid, who seemed in awe with everything.

"Hello there! I was just wondering….Wilf?" Freya drifted off, staring at the familiar man.

"Freya? What the devil are you doing out tonight?" Wilfred asked her worriedly. Freya'd met Donna's grandfather a number of times in the time she'd spent with Donna leading up to Donna's wedding.

"The husband and I took a tour with some friends," Freya said, waving behind them.

"And the children! I…you were pregnant," Wilf said slowly, staring at the two children clinging to her.

"I was. Twice. It's been awhile since I've seen you. What year is this?" Freya asked him.

"You know what year it is. We were together last Christmas planning Donna's wedding," Wilf pointed out.

"Oh. A year. That could be bothersome," Freya murmured before flashing Wilf a wide grin.

"Tell ya what, Gramps. There's some things out there, some things you wouldn't believe. I've been gone probably two to three years since you saw me last. In fact, it might be about four now that I think about it," Freya admitted.

"Does it have to do with them aliens?" Wilfred asked, his voice dropping.

"I'd say so, since I went and married one of the good ones," Freya said with a wink. Wilfred continued to gape at him.

"Where is everyone?" Freya asked as the Doctor and his group came up behind her.

"They're all scared. London at Christmas just isn't safe anymore, not with all the aliens these last few years," Wilfred said.

"This place is amazing," Astrid breathed out.

"Just a bit," Freya said with a laugh.

"This year, everyone's scared. They've all gone to the country. All except me and Her Majesty," Wilf said as he saluted the television.

"God Bless Her. We stand vigil," Wilf said solemnly. The Doctor leaned forward.

"Wilf, meet my husband the Doctor. This is Bad Wolf, Captain Jack Harkness, Astrid Perth, and my children, Ezek and Aurelie. Guys, meet Wilfred Mott," Freya said with a smile. The Doctor grinned.

"Nice to meet you, Wilfred Mott. Now, just between you and me, I think Her Majesty's got it right. Far as I know, this year, nothing to worry about," the Doctor said as the teleportation beam kicked in, sending them all back onto the ship.

Freya let out a sigh.

"Poor Wilf. If you gave Donna's grandfather a heart attack, she'll murder you," Freya warned the Doctor.

"I was mid-conversation!" the Doctor protested loudly as soon as he realized what had happened.

"Yes, I'm sorry about that. A bit of a problem. If I could have your bracelets," Mr. Copper said apologetically. A steward was standing next to the bracelet stand.

"Apologies, ladies and gentlemen, and Bannakaffalatta. We seem to have suffered a slight power fluctuation. If you'd like to return to the festivities. And on behalf of Max Capricorn Cruiseliners, free drinks will be provided," the steward said.

"Another mistake," Freya murmured to the Doctor.

"I'm not liking this. Maybe you and the children should return to the TARDIS," the Doctor responded.

"It might be safer," Freya agreed. The Doctor turned to Bad Wolf.

"Can you escort Freya and the children to the TARDIS? I'm beginning to rethink the safety of this trip," the Doctor said. Bad Wolf nodded immediately.

"I'll be right back," Bad Wolf told Jack as he started gently leading the three of them out of the main room. They'd made their way halfway down the hallway to the TARDIS when Freya realized they were still wearing the teleport bracelets.

"We need to go back and return the bracelets," Freya realized. Bad Wolf glanced at their wrists and shrugged.

"I can bring them back for you," he said.

"No, we should just drop them off. If we don't, who's to say they won't accuse you of stealing them?" Freya asked him. Bad Wolf sighed but allowed them to head back to the main room.

The Doctor wasn't in there anymore, though, Freya realized. They made their way over to the display case and Freya was midway through taking hers off when Bad Wolf let out a gasp.

"Keep that on," he ordered, throwing one on himself quickly. He pulled out his sonic and quickly started messing with control board before flipping the switch. The last thing Freya saw before they were beamed to earth was a meteor coming straight for them, straight for the ship.

They crash landed on Earth, Bad Wolf landing on top of Freya. Centimeters from touching his younger self. Freya quickly shoved him off of her in the opposite direction.

"Almost paradox," Freya told him gently.

"Almost death," Bad Wolf corrected her.

"The Doctor!" Freya gasped out. Bad Wolf whipped out a cell phone quickly, dialing before pressing the phone up to his ear. Seconds later, he sighed.

"No, we didn't make it to the TARDIS. We were returning the bracelets to the room when I noticed the meteors. I zapped us back to Earth. We're safe," Bad Wolf promised. He listened for a moment before sighing.

"No. River stole the Vortex Manipulator and her and Jack's wife were taking off in them. Neither of us have one on us. Speaking of that, I need to get to Torchwood and see if I can help them protect us. I'm sure some of the debri will enter the atmosphere," Bad Wolf said. He listened for a moment.

"I can bring them…oh. Don't worry about them. One of your future selves is here. I think he'll take care of them. Call Mom when it's safe to return to Earth," Bad Wolf said, hanging up. Freya followed his eyes to see the TARDIS in front of them, but not the TARDIS she knew. This one looked older – it had a St. John's Ambulance sticker on the side, just as the next Doctor's and the one after that had.

Bad Wolf gave her a quick hug before jogging off, phone out and calling someone else in the same breath.

Freya helped Ezek to his feet and rotated Lil' Red before readjusting the diaper bag on her shoulder. She started to knock on the door but thought better of it.

With a single pull, she entered the TARDIS.

The twelve Doctor's TARDIS.

It was just as beautiful as it had been when she'd left it.

The Doctor was sitting in an armchair, twirling a small square of something between his fingers. When he saw her, he leapt to his feet, eyes wide.

"Freya!" he said joyously before scampering over to her, throwing her arms around her in a tight hug. He then pulled back quickly.

"Nope, still not liking hugs," he decided.

"It's good to see you again, Doctor," she said. Bad Wolf was wandering around, staring at the walls in awe.

"Mummy, why does Aunty TARDIS look so different?" he asked finally, staring at her.

"Because this is a different version of her, just like Daddy's a bit different," Freya pointed out. Bad Wolf didn't even glance at the Doctor.

"No he's not," he said immediately before wandering around the place.

"She's tiny. And rather squishy-looking," the Doctor said dubiously, staring at Lil' Red.

"She's maybe two, three days old?" Freya pointed out.

"Really young, then," the Doctor said, staring at her with a mix of apprehension and awe. Freya decided to use that as an excuse to dump her into his arms. The Doctor fumbled for a moment.

"Freya! I haven't held a baby in years!" he complained.

"Well, you are now. Where are we? How long has it been since you regenerated?" Freya asked as she examined the place. A woman's jacket was lying on the chair next to the Doctor's. And a pile of papers were on the tiny table next to it.

The jacket wasn't one Freya could remember ever seeing, so she assumed it belonged to whomever his companion at the moment was.

"Awhile," the Doctor said with a shrug.

"Still with the same girl? The one who travels with you but doesn't really live on the TARDIS?" Freya wanted to know.

"Yes. Still with Clara," the Doctor said, although he looked slightly troubled over the thought.

"Hey. Is everything alright?" Freya asked, moving closer to the Doctor.

"Do you trust me?" he asked. Freya nodded, puzzled at his words.

"Of course I do," she said automatically. He nodded, staring at her once more, carefully.

"If I told you to do something and couldn't explain why, would you do it?" the Doctor asked.

"Will it hurt my children? Or you? Any version of you?" she asked. The Doctor shook his head immediately.

"It'll hurt no one. I just can't tell you what I have to do, because I can't know until now," the Doctor explained. Freya stared at him, noting the hope in his eyes.

"Then yes. I trust you," Freya told him with a smile.

The Doctor's one smile was blinding as he quickly led her to his chair and sat her down.

"There. Now lean back. I'm going to place something on your forehead. Close your eyes," the Doctor told her. Freya did as he asked.

Something cool rested on her forehead before it was absorbed into her skin. Freya's eyes shot open at the feel.

"Sh. It's okay. It's supposed to do that," the Doctor told her. Freya stared at him for a moment.

"Is there anything I should know about this? Am I not supposed to do anything specific now?" Freya asked him. The Doctor shook his head.

"No, don't worry. It won't affect you for at least ten years of your time," the Doctor told her with a soft smile.

"Ten years? Will it have anything to do with my death?" she asked before closing her eyes.

"No. You said you couldn't tell me. I'll respect that. One day, you will tell me though, once I need to know?" Freya asked him. The Doctor nodded.

"In fact, after you and I relax a bit I'm going to go find the you closest with my time line and tell you what I just did," the Doctor told her, a grin blossoming on his face.

"We're going to relax?" Freya asked curiously.

"You did just have a baby. You could use a bit of relaxation," the Doctor decided.

"Do you even know how to relax?" Freya asked him with a grin. The Doctor looked affronted.

"Of course I do. You don't live as long as I do without learning how to relax," the Doctor said.

"You haven't shown me that side of you yet," Freya said with a grin. The Doctor threw on a pair of sunglasses and grinned at her over the top of them.

"Oh, I most certainly would love to do so now," he told her with a wink.

"Nice sunglasses," Freya said. The Doctor's grin only increased.

"They're sonic."

Freya spent the equivalent of a week with this version of the Doctor, relaxing and just enjoying a slower time. The Doctor enjoyed playing with both Bad Wolf and Lil' Red, moreso than Freya would have expected.

After a week, however, the TARDIS landed and Freya's phone began ringing. Freya answered it as the Doctor made Bad Wolf giggle from tickling him.

"Hello?" Freya asked, trying to keep from laughing herself.

"Freya! Are you alright?" her current Doctor asked anxiously.

"Yes. Perfectly fine, perfectly safe, and well slept," Freya informed him.

"Good good. I…I saved the Earth. Jack and I made it, as did Mr. Copper. Astrid…Astrid died. As did Foon and Morvin," the Doctor said, his voice mournful.

"I'm so sorry," Freya breathed.

"It couldn't have been helped. I…it was actually a week ago for me. I couldn't bring myself to call you sooner," the Doctor admitted.

"Oddly enough, it's been that long for us as well. We've been with an older version of yourself just relaxing," Freya informed him.

"Can you have him drop you off outside of Adipose Industry? I was thinking we could do a bit of investigating," the Doctor suggested hopefully.

"I'd love to, however, we're going to need someone to babysit if that's the case," Freya pointed out. The Doctor was silent for a moment.

"I don't want to leave our children behind," the Doctor said sadly.

"I don't either, but they need to have people mind them. The Doctor – older you, mind – and I will drop them off with Marie and Masen to spend a few days," Freya decided.

"Or you could leave them with me. I could watch them," the Doctor suggested quietly. Freya covered the mouth of the phone and stared at him.

"Are you sure?" she asked.

"I'd love to spend more time with my children," the Doctor said.

"Actually, Doctor, I'm going to leave them with your older self. He'd like to spend some more time with the kids. See you soon!" Freya said before hanging up.

"Adipose?" the Doctor asked.

"Adipose," Freya confirmed.

Next chapter, Donna! Slowly but surely, you'll get more chapters, I promise. It's just going to take awhile. Leave a review if you'd like. I'd appreciate the encouragement. Thanks to everyone who's still reading the chapter despite the long breaks in between chapters! You guys are amazing!
