We were still running, almost to Greeneville. Then we'd find that safe house and be safe for a while at least. I was so tired, but we couldn't stop, or they'd catch up. All of a sudden I was on the group, and Derek was right beside me pulling me up.
"Chloe, we can rest if you need it." He said with concern clear on his face.
I shook my head, "I'm fine. I swear."
He sighs, picks me up, then carries me. "Really?" I ask.
He nods. "If your stubborn so am I."
