This WAS supposed to be just a genderbended Date A Live, but since I read this one review, I'll alter some things a little. Anyway, enjoy this second chapter!
Episode 1: April 1X-Part 2
Shiori's P.O.V
I was in my school, sitting at a desk in my class, 2-4. Hitomi was talking to me. "But really, what a coincidence this is, Itsuka-chan! Being in your class once again makes me feel that we're fated to be together!" she stated happily.
"You think so?" I asked, sweat-dropping. Suddenly, I heard a jingle, causing Hitomi to get out her phone.
"Oh, it's my boyfriend!" I gave her a confused look. When did Hitomi have a boyfriend?
"Since when did you have a boyfriend, Tonomachi?"
"Hold on. Let me introduce you two!" She showed the phone to me and...I saw a 2-D anime boy on the screen. Oh yeah, did I forget to tell you that Hitomi had a HUGE obsession with anime guys? I know, it's pretty weird. She's a HUGE otome game player due to that.
"Really? A guy from a dating sim?" I questioned.
Hitomi pouted at me, looking offended. "Come on! A boyfriend is a boyfriend! Stop being so biased!" She put her hands on her hips. "These types of games teach women how to interact with hot guys and making them fall in love with you! These are basically textbooks of love! This 'Flower Petals: My True Love' is real-time and especially-" She kept rambling on and on about her dating sims. I sighed. I could never get Hitomi and her obsession with loving fictional guys. Well, Hitomi is Hitomi after all.
Suddenly, I heard a male voice say, "Itsuka Shiori." I turned and saw a guy with white hair in a short low pony tail with a few blue clips on the side and light-blue eyes. His skin was the same as mine and was wearing the boys' school uniform. I didn't recognize him. Who was he?
"Me?" I asked in a puzzled tone. "How did you know my name?"
"You don't remember?" he asked before sighing and sitting down in a desk. Okay, really...who was he?
I whispered to Hitomi, "Do you know who that is?"
Hitomi looked surprised. "Wait, you don't know about the Super Genius, Tobiichi Orinosuke?!" she whispered back. Tobii...chi...Orinosuke? I looked at him with curiosity. Hitomi went on, "He's got the highest grades in our year, including P.E. And to top that off, he's super hot! He's always been one of my top three men to date!" I was not surprised. Hitomi crushes on guys so easily. As I saw him reading a book, I tried to remember him, but I just couldn't...
"To think you've never heard of the most famous person in school..." Hitomi muttered. "How does he know you though?"
"That's what I want to know," I replied, curious. The school bell rung. Everyone, including Hitomi, took a seat. I looked back at Tobiichi. He still doesn't ring a bell to me. He put his book back on his desk. I looked back and saw a teacher come in. I was slightly surprised at the sight of him because I knew him before.
"Oh, it's Tamaki-sensei!" shouted a student.
The teacher smiled. "Good morning class. I'll be your homeroom teacher for the year. My name is Okamine Tamaki." Tamaki-sensei is a very well-liked teacher in my school. He's 29 and he's pretty tall. He had short light-brown hair and brown eyes, plus he wore glasses. He also wore formal attire. The rest of the class clapped. I looked back at Tobiichi, who was staring at me. I felt a little uncomfortable, tensing up a little. Seriously! Who was he? What did he want from me? Why was he looking at me?
...
After class ended, I stood up from my chair, Hitomi walking back to me to talk to me again. "Hey, Itsuka-chan! Let's walk home together!" she suggested.
"Sorry Tonomachi, but I've got plans," I denied, smiling nervously again.
Instead of pouting at me though, she flashed some mischievous face at me and said, "Oh? Is it with a boy?"
I blushed a little when she said that, but shook it off. "Not just some boy. I'm just going to take Kouta for lunch."
She sighed deeply. "I know. From my observations..." She stroke some cheesy pose. "No boy would ever agree to eat lunch with you!"
Now I began to sigh deeply. "You know that's taking it too far." Seriously, Hitomi-chan and her overexaggerated love fantasies-
Suddenly, we both heard an alarm...and it wasn't just some alarm...it was a spacequake alarm.
"A spacequake has been detected in the area," said the computer voice. "This is not a drill. Please evacuate to your nearest shelter. I repeat-"
"What?! A spacequake?!" Hitomi exclaimed, looking terrified. A spacequake was going to happen here?! NOW?!
"Let's find shelter. The school bunker should be fine," I said to her, trying to keep my calm. I suddenly saw Tobiichi leave. Maybe it was because of the drill, but I felt like it was something else...
Normal P.O.V
In a mysterious dark lab, several people were on computers, detecting the spacequake and checking who was causing it. A woman with long blonde hair looked at one computer and whispered, "Prince...he's here..."
Meanwhile, outside of the school Shiori was in, parking lots have been taken underground, people went to protective shelters, trains were taken underground. Many things that could cause extra damage was taken underground.
Shiori's P.O.V
"Alright everyone, calm down!" Tamaki-sensei said to the class, looking very scared and sounding like it. "Don't forget the 3 S's: Single file, steady line, skeletons! Wait, it's not skeletons..." Meanwhile, I was looking at my phone to check on Kouta. I hope he found a shelter. It'd be horrible if he stood by the diner during all of this. He said we would meet there even if there's a spacequake, but I'm sure he didn't mean it. After all, he's 14, so he knew better...right?
I called him, but got nothing but beeps. I was beginning to feel very worried about him. I then use my phone's GPS to signal his location. When I saw his location...I gasped, feeling every part of me freeze up. I couldn't believe my eyes...he was at the diner! The diner! Instead of the nearest shelter, he waited at the diner?! No...no...
I clenched my fists and gritted my teeth. He was my little brother. I needed to protect him! I needed to save him before the spacequake starts!
That was why without a second thought, I stood up and ran out the shelter. Tamaki-sensei and Hitomi called out my name, but I ignored them both. My top priority now to get Kouta and get the hell out of the spacequake zone!
As I entered into the city, I ran and ran, but hadn't seen him. This worried me a lot. "I love you, onee-san!" I remembered him on...he had to be around the city somewhere! He HAD to be! "Please? Pretty please with sprinkles on top? PLEASE...onee-san?" Why?! Why is he waiting for me while the city's on lockdown?! "Kouta!" I shouted at the top of my lungs, desperate to want to hear his voice. "KOUTA! ANSWER ME!" However, I saw a flash from far, me skidding to a stop and my eyes feeling like they've shrunk. Oh god, the spacequake! Before I had time to even move an inch, the quake expanded so fast, the force knocking me out in an instant. The pain was indescribable...I felt dead...I couldn't save him in time...couldn't save Kouta...my little brother...
...
I stirred from my consciousness and woke up, feeling a bit numb from the blast. I was so surprised...I couldn't believe I survived a spacequake. It was actually a miracle. Thank God. I began to look around as I stood up. The city was practically destroyed. The spacequake was so strong to do that, but not kill me?
I then spotted a huge crater ahead of me, gasping at the size of it. I walked towards it and saw a figure ahead of me. It was a guy and he looked to be around my age. He was glowing lavender and wearing a...I guess, a unique-looking purple and gold tuxedo, complete with lavender and white see-through cape and dress shirt as well as shoes that fitted the outfit. He had purple and gold shoulder armor, arm armor, and knee armor on. From what I've saw, he had an athletic build to his body. He looked like...like a prince. He was standing on something and looking at me with his violet eyes. I was shocked at the sight of him, my jaw dropping. Who was he? Was he behind the spacequake?
The guy took out a heavy-looking sword and slashed with it, creating purple power splitting the ground. My skin began to crawl and I began to sweat a little. I was so close to death because it almost hit me. I swear, it was right next to me. The power caused a building to break down into pieces. Such force...really, who WAS he?!
I suddenly saw the guy in front of me (how did he get there?!), pointing his sword at my face. I almost jumped, my whole body tensing up at the sight of him and the sword. "You too?" he asked in a serious tone. I gave him a puzzled look. What did he mean by that?
"Wh-what?" I managed to speak out.
He looked really angry. "You're here to kill me, aren't you?" Kill him? What? Who would do that?
That's the second chapter. How was it?
