I've been on holiday, and I seriously meant to update before I left, but it just slipped my mind:( I'm really busy at the moment, but I'm going to really try and write more, because i'm enjoying this story, and i would eventually like to get to the plot twist;) It won't be long, I promise!

Anyway, sorry again, and I hope you enjoy this chapter!xoxo

Quinn didn't really know what to do after her confrontation with her father. She had school, but the lessons weren't vital, as graduation was less than a week away. So, still carrying her suitcase, she grabbed a quick coffee from a nearby vender and went to the park that was located only five minutes from her school. The sun was shining and the breeze was indescribably relaxing. She found a nice spot underneath a large oak tree that offered enough shade. She slouched down, resting her back against the tree trunk.

She didn't know how long she was sat there. It felt like hours, but it could've easily been minutes. She was sat simply pulling out the grass and every so often resting her head back and closing her eyes for a while to find peace.

"I've been looking for you," Puck approached her and took a seat opposite her. Her expression told him she wanted to be left alone, but deep inside they both knew she needed him. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you." He finally said, after a long silence. He was just as stubborn as she was, and hated apologising for something he used his best intentions in. But after looking at it from her prospective, he realised he could've handled things better. "How'd it go?" She remained silent, so he tried his hardest to get her talking.

"How do you think?" She exhaled a sort of laugh, as she pointed to her suitcase beside her.

"I'm sorry Quinn. It's gotta be rough." He reached for her hands, which were interlocked around her knees.

"Am I a terrible daughter for saying it felt good?" She managed a smile. He looked into her eyes and understood how she felt.

"The idea of it is terrible, but after what you've been put through, you're far from terrible." He gently caressed her hands. She smiled weakly at him. Without saying a word, she released his hands and anxiously handed him her Yale letter. His eyes widened as he realised what it was, sharing her nerves. He handed it back to her, prompting her to open it. He nodded encouragingly, while she began to slowly and carefully tear it open.

"I got in." She whispered slowly. She re-read it another couple of times before announcing it once again. "I got in!"

She jump up as he did, so he lifted her up and spun her around, before slowly putting her down and kissing her.

"I knew you could do it." He whispered in her ear. Strangely, he was the only one.

2 Days later.

"Quinn! Heard about Yale, congrats!" Said a random girl who Quinn had never spoken to, as she stood in the corridor by her locker.

"Thanks?" She called back, still in confusion.

"How'd she know?" Quinn asked Santana, who was putting her books into her own locker, which was only a couple of lockers down from Quinn's.

"Are you kidding me? It's spread like chicken pox. Everyone in the school knows."

"Why does anyone care?"

"You're the first kid in eight years at McKinley to be accepted. It's kind of a big deal."

"Rachel got into NYADA, Why isn't everyone buzzing about that?"

"I don't know. Maybe it's because she's got a bigger ego than Coach Sylvester… Or that her fringe is almost as big as her nose, or maybe-"

"Ok, I get it." Quinn laughed, cutting Santana off. "Hey, Santana…" Quinn began after a long silence. "Do you ever… I don't know, think school is just a waste of time?"

"You're preaching to the choir, sister." Santana finished organising her books and walked over to stand beside Quinn and he open locker. "But, I mean… you're not talking about Yale, right?"

"I don't know. I mean, we could be out in the world, but instead we've gotta stay and study for another year?"

"Are you saying you might not accept Yale? 'Cos I'll gladly take your place."

"No, Yale's my dream, but… I don't know, I'm just afraid I'm going to miss everything… and everyone."

"You sure it isn't about missing one particular person?" Santana knew the answer, and so did Quinn. She couldn't admit it though, so she simply rolled her eyes as she slammed her locker.

"Santana, Rachel, Tina…. And…." Quinn whispered quietly to herself 'Not Me', but it proved futile. "Quinn!" Their PE teacher set up the teams, a job no-one had a say in. After awkward silence after Quinn joined the others, it was time to play a very friendly game of volleyball. Quinn and Tina stood further forward, while Rachel rolled her eyes behind Quinn and Santana filed her nails behind Tina.

A ball was thrown to Rachel and she got ready to serve the ball until something caught her eye.

Quinn was slightly crouching, ready to return the ball when it came soaring back, but her polo shirt had slightly rolled up at the back, displaying a small love heart with the initials 'N.P' written in the middle.

Rachel's jaw dropped when she saw it, and she let go of the volleyball, which bounced and echoed throughout the gym.

"Oh. My. Gosh." Rachel said. Quinn turned around to see Rachel, and as she did, saw her looking at her lower back region. Quinn immediately pulled her polo shirt down and tried to hide her scarlet cheeks.

"So he's got you branded with his initials now has he?" This was the first time they'd spoken in the days, and Quinn could tell all the frustration and anger had gone into that sentence.

"No, you don't have a clue what's going on in my li-"

"It's fairly obvious Quinn! He's manipulated and fooled you just like I said he would and to top it off he's got you defacing your own-"

"He doesn't even know about it!" She shouted back. Her fists were now clenched and her adrenaline was pumping. She could feel everyone staring at her.

"Why, Quinn? He's just a guy." Rachel continued, exasperated.

"You don't understand, no-one does!" She could feel tears forming in her eyes.

"I understand that you're going to be stuck with a tacky tattoo for the rest of your life!"

"Look, even if this doesn't work out, and I'm stuck with this… reminder, it won't matter! If I look back on this in fifty years and remember how good I felt in this moment, that's good enough for me." Somehow, she managed to stop the tears.

"What about your future though, Quinn? Is he worth giving up everything you've worked for?"

"What are you talking about?"

"I called up Yale. They said you hadn't formally accepted yet."

"So?"

"So… I think I know why. You're going to put this off Quinn, and you can't."

"You can't do that, you can't act like you actually give a damn after all that's happened. And what about you? You're putting off NYADA for a year for Finn. You're such a hypocrite!" She screamed as she ran off towards the locker room, this time not being able to stop the tears.

"Blondie? You in here?" Quinn was sat at the end of the locker room, trying to compose herself. She sniffed and rubbed her eyes, trying to look as casual as possible, but when Santana found her, she seemed to look even worse. Santana sat awkwardly next to Quinn, not knowing what to do.

"Rachel was out of order back there." She settled on saying something comforting to Quinn. But comforting was probably the farthest possible trait Santana could have.

"I didn't know you had it in you for a tat!"

"It was kinda impulsive." She replied dully, hoping Santana would get the hint she wanted to be alone.

"It's brave. I mean, what if you realise his name isn't Noah? Or what if Noah is spelt with a silent G? Or what if you turn out to be a lesbian and you've got the initials N.P on your ass? Let me tell you, Natalie Portman would not be an easy chick to score with."

Quinn finished wiping her eyes as she couldn't help but laugh.

"It's not on my ass." That was the only thing that managed to escape from her lips.

"Hey, wanna come camping on tomorrow?" Santana asked.

"Camping? I don't know, it's not really my sort of thing… Plus, aren't we going to Coach's annual 'You're Not A Complete Loser' party tomorrow night?"

"No, we got took off the list," Santana whined. "Blame Tina and her new haircut. Come on, camping's fun!"

"You do realise it'll be in a field? You bring your straightners to school, Santana."

"I know, but… ok, if you tell anyone about this, I'm gonna kill you." Santana moved closer. "Graduations less than a week away. And, I guess I'm gonna… maybe miss some of you."

Quinn whined, knowing she couldn't say no to her now.

"Quinn, this is our last time to hang out and do something wild!"

"I really don't feel like doing anything with Rachel."

"Bring loverboy then!"

"Ha, you really think bringing him will help things with Rachel?"

"No, but it'll drive her crazy. Isn't that what you want?"

Quinn sat and considered it for a moment.

"We found a campsite half an hour away. We're meeting at my house at 5PM on Friday."

Santana didn't give Quinn any time to deny. "Be there, Q!" She began as she started walking towards the changing room door.

"I'll tell coach you barfed up a burrito or something!" She finally called after disappearing.

Quinn sat on the locker room bench, sniffing occasionally as she tried to compose herself. She wanted a future with Puck, and still knowing she had very few supportive of this, she was determined to get it.
