Puck pulled up outside Santana's house with Quinn in the passenger seat and their luggage in the trunk. It was 5pm, and they were ready to hit the road, unlike many of the others.

"Need some help?" Quinn laughed as she stepped out of the car and glanced over at Santana and Mercedes attempting to squeeze a crazy amount of luggage into their car.

"No, we've got it!" Mercedes called back as she jumped on the luggae in the trunk, attempting to make room for the two more Barbie-pink luggage bags sitting on the pavement.

"Dammit Rach, how much crap did you bring?!" Santana shouted irritably. Rachel was sat on an extra pink suitcase, looking in the opposite direction to Quinn.

"It's much better to be prepared. What did you bring anyway?" Rachel replied.

"A toothbrush and condom." Santana replied shortly. After receiving various strange looks from others, she added "It's not for me! It's in case one of the lads gets lucky. We don't need a pregnancy on our hands, do we?"

"Always thinking of others," Tina murmured as she was pushing bags into the back seat.

"Where are the boys?" Quinn asked.

"They set off about ten minutes ago, don't blame them really, we're gonna be here forever with all this crap." Mercedes answered.

"You and Mohawk can take off, we'll meet you there. I texted you the directions, anyway." Santana added.

"Ok, we'll see you in about a half hour,"

Puck and Quinn arrived at the campsite in just under forty minutes. Puck drove them into the car park, and grabbed his and Quinn's bags from the trunk. Quinn spotted Finn and Mike bending random poles and immediately directed Puck where to go.

"Hey guys, this is Puck." Quinn introduced Puck to the guys one by one. "Finn, Mike, Blaine, Kurt, Sam."

They all seemed to warm to Puck instantly. None of them, except Kurt, had seen them, but all had heard about him, as it had been circling the school that she was dating an 'older man'.

"You know anything about putting up tents?" Finn asked as he examined the many poles lying on the ground in front of them.

"Not much, but I could have a try," Puck said, laughing. Just as he picked up the instruction manual, Quinn pulled hers and Puck's bag further to the left, knowing she'd be no use with putting up tents.

Santana and the rest of the girls arrived in minutes, so Quinn assumed they just avoided the traffic. They parked and Quinn went over to help them with their bags.

"Good journey?" Quinn asked as she heaved a bag from the trunk.

"Not too bad, yours?" Mercedes replied, also grabbing a bag.

"Yeah, just hit a bit of traffic."

All the bags were removed from the car and all placed in a heap next to where the boys were attempting to set up a tent.

"Nice tent frankenteen. Didn't you say you could get it up in ten minutes?" Santana laughed as she eyed up the half-risen tent. "Rachel, does he usually take ten minutes to get it up?" Sam and Mike were in hysterics, while Rachel blushed crazily. "And Mohawk, nice to see you again," She eyed him up and down and licked her lips. Puck turned around and smiled nervously at her.

"Hey Santana, where's Brittany?" Quinn asked loudly, trying to make her remember she had a girlfriend and was in fact a lesbian.

"Baby-sitting her neighbour's hamster." Santana whined. "Apparently it's a former alcoholic and it knows where the keys are to the booze cabinet are."

Mercedes frowned in confusion, but decided it was best not to ask, while Quinn completely understood, thinks like that happened with Brittany all the time.

"Where's Kurt and Blaine?" Quinn asked as she and Mercedes began unpacking their tent.

"Gone to look at the beach," Finn struggled to say due to lack of breath from hammering in the tent pegs. Puck took the mallet from his hands and hammered in the rest, with much more ease than Finn. Puck was now working up a sweat and his biceps were flexed.

"Wanky," Santana whispered, not taking her eyes off Puck. "Wait, what? There's a beach?!"

"Yeah, just over that hill," Finn's head nodded to his left slightly, where their eyes all shifted to see a beautiful sea. "Didn't you research this site?"

"No, this dude in my health class just told me they sell good weed here," Santana replied casually. "I'm kidding!" She laughed after receiving shocked expressions from everyone.

Quinn and Mercedes were now unravelling their tent and began putting together the poles. Santana had run over to the hill to examine the beach, Rachel was sitting looking very bored, and Mike and Sam had taken a beer break.

In a little over ten minutes, Quinn and Mercedes were standing beside their fully built tent, wiping their dirty hands on their jeans. The tent was brand new, supplied by Rachel's dads, so Quinn wasn't sure whether or not she was welcome to stay in it. But, as she had slaved away to put it up, she immediately dumped her bag inside. Mercedes joined, then they both threw everyone else's in there. Puck and Finn finished minutes after them, although Finn was lying on his back, panting for breath.

"Need a beer?" Mike laughed as he asked Finn. But before Finn could answer, Rachel butted in and grabbed Finn's hand.

"Finn and I won't be drinking tonight, some of us need to be alert, don't we," She smiled sweetly, while Finn looked like he could cry. Sam threw one to Puck and they all took a seat on the grass to relax. The sky remained cloud-less and it was fairly warm. It was around 6pm, but the sun still shone brightly.

"Anyone wanna check out the beach?" Sam asked, once he finished his beer.

"Sure, bring the football?" Finn jumped at the chance to play football with his friends, it was going to be the last time before they graduated. Mike pulled a football out his bag and threw it to Finn, who tossed it in his hands.

"Blaine, you comin'?"

"Sure," Blaine shrugged his shoulders and stood up, while Kurt was getting bored of the topic.

"I know, how about Boys V Girls?" Sam suggested with an excitable grin.

"I don't think so, man." Finn said quickly. "It's not really their kind of thing…"

"I think you're just afraid we can kick your asses…" Tina wondered.

"I'm sorry, kick our asses?" Mike snorted, which earned him a glare from Tina.

"Come on, it's time for some girl power!" Mercedes stood up and pumped her fist in the air.

"Oh, it's on," Grinned Mike. "Puck, you in?"

"Sure, why not?" He replied cockily, looking directly at Quinn.

"Oh, it's on." Quinn replied just as confidently as Puck, not taking her eyes off him.

Twenty minutes into playing, and the girls were only down by one touchdown, 6-5. Normally, the boys would've thrashed the girls, but the girls used strategy. Santana prevented four touchdowns by flashing each of the boys, which earned her two eye rolls from Tina and Quinn. Tina fell and faked an injury, causing Mike to run over and miss an open pass from Sam.

Rachel and Kurt were sitting on the sand, simply observing and gladly welcomed Blaine to join them when he fell and got sand caught in his hair.

"Okay, let's end this now. Next touchdown wins!" Finn called as he threw the ball to Quinn.

"You ready Fabray? I'll try and go easy on you." Puck stood in front of Quinn and winked. She held back a smile and moved her face as close to his as possible, so that they were almost touching.

For a tiny second, he thought she was going to snog his face off. Her eyes certainly looked like that was what she wanted more than anything.

"I think you'll need me to go easy on you." She whispered seductively as she instantly threw the ball past Puck, to Mercedes, who was in position and ready to score the winning touchdown, leaving Puck, waiting for his kiss.

Mercedes received the ball and ran straight past Sam and Finn and knocked Mike over as she passed him. She scored the touchdown with ease.

Santana was ecstatic, and they all knew that this was something she wasn't going to let the boys forget easily.

"Did all your vagina's get in the way of winning?" Santana ran up and did a victory dance in front of each of the boys. "'Cos you played like a bunch of sissy girls!"

"Dude, what happened?" Finn called to Puck, who couldn't wipe the smile off his face. He shrugged and turned around to a very smug Quinn.

"Well played, Fabray." He admitted, putting his hand out to Quinn. "I guess you're not just a pretty face." She laughed and shook his hand, before he pulled her into a hug, where he spun her around.

"Wanna take a walk?" He asked, once he put her down.

"Sure." He took her hand and they started strolling the beach.

"Hey, Quinn, I've got a condom if you need it?" Santana called, to which Quinn rolled her eyes, blushing.

They escaped the others and walked through the golden sand. It was sunset, and the orange sun glistened on the clear water. After walking for a while, they sat on the sand near the water and simply gazed at the view.

"Thanks for coming," She smiled, cozying up to him.

"No problem." He replied, putting his arm around her and pulling her close. After a long silence, Puck broke it. "How can it only be eleven days?"

"What?"

"How can I have only known you for eleven days? I feel like I've known you forever." He admitted. "Does that make me sound like a cheesy dork?"

"You're not a dork." She told him, laughing. "But you are cheesy. And believe me, cheesy is probably the least attractive trait guys can have." His face sank slightly, although he tried not to show it. "But on you, it works." He matched her smile.

They just sat there for what seemed like forever. He rested his head gently on hers, which fit perfectly into his shoulder as she snuggled into him. The breeze gently blew in their faces and Puck could feel their hearts beating together. In that moment, he had never been happier. Little did he know, within hours, his whole world would crumble down.
