Chapter 14

(Elizabeth clocked out for the night. She was exhausted from her shift. She enjoyed hanging out with Felix and Sabrina here and there. Those two always made her laugh. Before getting into the elevator, she runs into her friends)

Sabrina: (smiles) "Are you on your way home to see your prince?"

Liz: (nods & smiles) "I sure am."

Felix: (points at Liz seriously) "He better be treating you good."

Liz: "He is. He is the best guy I could ever ask for. We love each other, faults and all."

Sabrina: (chuckles) "Well, he sounds like a keeper."

Liz: (smiles) "I love him so much and he makes me and my boys happy."

Felix: "I'm glad, my friend." (folds his arms) "So, what does he have planned for you two tonight?"

Liz: (tilts her head) "I'm not sure. I know Laura offered to take the boys for the night so Nikolas and I can have the night to ourselves."

Sabrina: "Aw, he definitely sounds like a keeper."

Liz: (nods & smiles) "That he is."

Felix: (raises his eyebrows) "Do I dare ask how the situation with AJ is going?"

Liz: (sighs deeply) "He still hasn't given up on me. I do feel bad for him, but in the end, I need to be happy."

Sabrina: "AJ definitely doesn't do that."

(The subject is now closed and they all say their goodbyes. Elizabeth gets home and is caught off guard by what she sees. There are candles in the living room. Two white long candles on the kitchen table. A bottle of white wine on ice in a bucket. Nikolas comes out of the kitchen with two plates of food. He smiles as he faces her)

Nikolas: "Hi, babe."

Liz: (gasps) "Is all of this for me?"

(After setting the plates down on both sides of the table, he walks to his girl. He wraps his arms around her and kisses her)

Nikolas: "I thought we deserved a night to ourselves. Mom has the boys at her place for the night."

Liz: (smiles) "I knew tonight was possible, but I wasn't sure if it was a done deal."

Nikolas: (raises his eyebrows) "If you would rather have them here instead, I could always call mom."

Liz: (serious tone) "I love the boys and your mom, but I agree. We needed a night to ourselves."

Nikolas: (chuckles) "I knew you would say that."

Liz: (curiously) "What'd you make?" (smirks) "Or did one of your cooks do it?"

Nikolas: (chuckles defensively) "Hey! I may not be a gourmet chef, but I know how to cook some things!"

Liz: (laughs) "I know you do." (tilts her head) "What'd you make this time?"

Nikolas: (smiles proudly) "Spaghetti and meatballs with garlic toast."

(Elizabeth smiles wide and licks her lips in response)

Nikolas: (smirks) "I take it you approve?"

Liz: "You bet your ass I do."

Nikolas: (smiles) "Well, let's eat. Everything is done. Take your coat off and set your purse down."

(Elizabeth does as she's told. She puts her coat on the coat hanger by the door and rests her purse on the coffee table. Nikolas scoots her in her chair, which she appreciates. He opens the wine bottle and pours them both a glass. Afterwards, he makes a toast)

Nikolas: "I have never loved another woman the way I love you, Elizabeth. Aside from Spencer, of course, you are the first person I want to see in the morning. You are the last person I want to see before I go to sleep...aside from my son, of course." (chuckles)

Liz: (chuckles) "I know."

Nikolas: "Even though you're not his biological mother, it means so much to me that you consider him yours."

Liz: (nods & smiles) "He's a part of you, so of course I'll treat him as such."

Nikolas: "For the record, I love your boys just the same."

Liz: (smiles) "I know you do and I appreciate that."

(Nikolas takes a step closer to her and takes her hand in his and smiles sweetly)

Nikolas: "It's not going to happen tonight, baby, as I want our children with us. I also want Audrey and my mother here, too. But...sometime in the very near future, I plan on asking you to be my wife."

(Elizabeth is shocked at his declaration, but in a good way. Her eyes flood with tears as she smiles happily)

Nikolas: "I love you so much and I can't wait to make us all a family."

Liz: "I love you too, my angel."

(They clink their glasses together before taking a drink. Afterwards, they dig into their meal. Elizabeth's mouth waters in hunger. This meal that her man made was delicious. She attempted to savor every bite, every taste. He couldn't help but chuckle at her moaning to the food. As much as he was enjoying supper, he couldn't wait to take her upstairs and show her how much he loved her. He treasured every part of her. He couldn't believe that she was his. When they finally finish eating, he takes their plates and brings them to the kitchen sink. He walks to his love and helps her stand up)

Nikolas: (smiles) "You are so beautiful, you know that?"

Liz: (nods) "You always make me feel beautiful. Whether it's with your kind words or your gentle touches."

Nikolas: "I love you, my sweet Elizabeth."

Liz: "I love you, too, my love."

(He takes her in his arms and kisses her passionately. She moans softly as they open their mouths to taste the others sweet sensations. When they break apart, they look at each other with so much love)

Liz: "Make love to me, Nikolas."

Nikolas: "I have wanted you for so long, my love. I wanted to feel you completely and treasure you all night long."

(Her smile gives him permission to carry her up the stairs and into her bedroom. She is speechless when she sees red rose petals on the bed and a few candles on her dresser. She faces her man)

Liz: "You thought of everything."

Nikolas: "I wanted tonight to be perfect." (nods) "I'm assuming you're on the pill?"

Liz: (nods) "Yes, I am." (smiles) "Thank you for being sure."

Nikolas: "I want to protect you in every way possible until we are ready for a child of our own." (hopeful look) "I hope that wish comes true for us someday."

Liz: (smiles) "When the time is right, I would love to have a baby with you."

(He briefly smiles as he kisses her once more. He lowers his hands under her shirt and lifts it over her head. She raises her arms to help him with this. She touches his chest with her hands before unbuttoning his shirt. Even though his shirt covered his body, he still felt so damn good. Once the shirt is unbuttoned, he assists her in taking it off. She places soft kisses on his chest before moving to his neck. He closes his eyes as he feels her sweet lips on him)

(He quickly opens his eyes and unbuttons her pants. She chuckles a little as she takes them off. He was becoming more aroused by the second. She puts her hands to his pants and takes pleasure in unbuttoning them, following by unzipping them. He slides his pants down. They admire each other before he speaks)

Nikolas: "You are perfect. Don't ever change who you are."

Liz: "You are so damn sexy."

(He smiles as he carries her to the bed. He takes his time unclasping her bra and takes off her white lacy thong. He couldn't help but admire her once more. God, he was so in love with her! He wanted to take her so badly, but he knew he needed to be slow. She watches as he slides down his black boxers, showing his shaft. She couldn't believe he was all hers. She loved the man standing before her and couldn't wait until they were finally joined together. He crawls on the bed until he is face to face with her. He smiles at her, resting his hand on her creamy face)

Nikolas: "I love you so much, Elizabeth."

Liz: (smiles) "I love you, too, Nikolas. Always and forever."

(He leans over her and enters her. She moans as she wraps her legs around his ass. He kisses her as he slowly goes in and out of her)

Liz: "You can go faster, baby. You're not hurting me."

(He nods as he pounds into her, making her scream his name. They both moan loudly as they continue their lovemaking. When they both reach their orgasm, they scream the other's name in ecstasy before looking at each other)

Liz: (smiles) "Just how I remembered. It may have been years, but it feels like it was just yesterday."

Nikolas: (smiles) "I hope we have many more nights like this."

Liz: "Forever and ever."
