Gajeel had a little back strapped to the bike which he brought with him when they walked. The beach looked kind of eerie when the only thing lighting it was the moon. Gajeel looked out over the ocean, it was pretty, he looked at Levy as they walked. He enjoyed being with her in the open. He didn't get the mushy feeling in his head and he could act like he wanted without fearing it was because of her scent. It still took its toll on him, he was still near her. She had wrapped her arms around her and she looked positively blue.

"Here, I'll lend you some warmth." He said and pulled her a little closer. He realized that when he got home later he had to wash his clothes or else he would go insane. Her scent would linger in his laundry basket until he washed them, and that would maybe be a little while before he would do that. He acted all nonchalant, but he was blushing hard. He was happy Levy just muttered a soft than you and held on to Gajeel's arm instead of looking up at his face. For a while they walked in silence, and from time to time he would catch a whiff of her scent and his pulse would race.

They had gotten to a few food stands that were still open, Levy had happily strutted over to them and ordered. She had ordered a crepe and a hot cocoa and for Gajeel she ordered a big coffee. She didn't really know if he liked it, but he took it without any further due. They hadn't eaten more than those sandwiches during the day, and Levy worried that he would be hungry too. But since he didn't want anything she figured he'd had his fill of iron during the day. They kept walking in silence, she ate her crepe and Gajeel sipped on his coffee. When they had walked so they were rather close to the water Levy felt something heavy and warm land on her shoulder. She looked up at Gajeel and then at her arms. His jacket almost drowned her but it was really warm and nice. Gajeel grinned and his piercings glistened in the moonlight.
"Won't you be cold?" she asked and looked at his now bare arms, the piercings there seemed to contribute to cooling him down.

"Nope." Gajeel said and grinned even wider. He was almost sweating, walking so close to her, her being incredibly cute and her scent still taking a toll on him made him produce more warmth than he needed. He was not going to tell her that either, there was a lot of things he didn't want to tell her. But there were some things he wanted to tell her. This whole reaction for example, it would be better if she figured it out by herself and he didn't have to go through a whole lot of embarrassing explaining. She was so smart, Gajeel thought, that if he just gave her a few clues she'd figure it out and he'd just be waiting there. What comes after that he didn't really know.

"What's gotten you so sweet?" she giggled and put her arms in the, for her, huge holes.
"Well, I ain't big on getting in trouble with Jet, Droy or Lucy." Gajeel cackled and threw away his cup. "Plus, can't let my little helper freeze her fingers off… I need those." He grinned.

"Well, Jet and Droy are out on some kind of trip… and Lucy is... occupied." She breathed and looked at Gajeel.
"Ah… that's why you're hanging around me." He grinned.
"No! Not at all, I would if they were available to." She said and looked at Gajeel with big honest eyes. Gajeel snorted and patted her head.
"I'm just messing with ya." He said and tried to hide his blush. "What's gotten blondie occupied?" Gajeel asked. He had a guess, since he was having these troubles with Levy it would make sense that he'd have them with Lucy, those two were as close to a couple as any one else. They just didn't have the guts to act upon it. Gajeel knew he wasn't one to talk, he didn't have the guts to tell Levy that he was into her, but he had reasons that the flaming idiot and the blond didn't have. Big reasons too.
"Well, she's been irritated at Natsu for being more annoying than usual." She said and shrugged. "I don't know what that is about, but she's kind of worked up about it and doesn't want to talk about him or anything." She said and shrugged. Gajeel looked out at the ocean, this was an opening to plant the little seed into her mind.

"To bad for them." He scoffed. He really didn't care what happened to them, he had no interest in their love life, but he was interested in how Natsu acted upon his dragon-related things. "Shorty, what do you know about dragons?" he asked and looked down at her. She raised one eyebrow and then looked straight ahead and thought for a while.

"Well, mostly from what Natsu has said about Igneel." She said and shrugged. "Plus some from random books I've read." She looked up at Gajeel and he knew he had spiked her interest. "What's that got to do with Lucy and Natsu?" she asked. Gajeel bit his tongue and sighed. She was too smart, she might outsmart him in this.
"Nothing, necessarily." He said and sighed.

"Well… I've read that they're intelligent and they were really powerful. Oh, and they created the dragon slayers." She said and smiled.
"Intelligent my ass." Gajeel muttered as they started to walk towards the bike again. "They're enormous lizards that think they're better than everyone." He chuckled and looked down at Levy and sighed. "They're huge…" He said and grinned. "You'd look like an ant next to one… Metallicana wouldn't even see ya." He laughed.
"Your dad?"

"Yeah… "
"Want to tell me a little more about dragons?" she asked and started to strip his jacket of her when they got closer to the bike.
"Keep it." He said. Still too hot from all going on. "There's not much more to tell about them, I just know that they're possessive, aggressive, arrogant, huge magical and pride filled lizards. There is no one that will say anything other than that, they're a pain in the ass." Gajeel said. "But they're the most powerful beings this world has ever seen, dragons are the kings of the kings." He said and smiled. "They have as much personality as you and me, but they're… a pain in the ass." Gajeel said and looked at Levy. "Dragon slayers are pretty much the same thing, they're tiny dragons in human form." Gajeel said and loaded the bag back on the bike, told Levy to sit in the front.

"Sounds like wonderful creatures." Levy sighed.

"Well, they're special. Having one as a parent might not be everyone's wish, but I liked it." He said and put the key in the ignition. "Want me to drive you home?" he asked as he put his foot on the kicker.

"Sure." She smiled and tried not to be in the way. She had told him she could get on after he's started the bike. But he had insisted, telling her she was so small it didn't make a difference.

Gajeel drove her home. He stopped outside of her place and turned the bike off so he could tell her good bye. He moved back a little so she could scoot off. She didn't take off the jacket Gajeel had given to her. She just grabbed at it and smiled a little shyly.
"I'll make sure to wash these…" she said, Gajeel looked at her for a little while. Her hair was in every direction and she looked really cute.
"Don't worry 'bout it shorty, I'll wash them later… Have them 'til next time we meet." He said and smirked a little. "Hopefully that'll be at the party tomorrow!" He said and grinned wide.
"Right! The party!" She gasped. "I need to buy a dress before that!" she said and looked at Gajeel and blushed a little. "Maybe a little longer dress this time?" she said and blushed a little more. Gajeel who felt empowered by the ride and high of her scent smirked.
"Or maybe not… they were nice panties…" He said and chuckled before he started the bike and rode off. Leaving a blushing Levy on her porch.
