Although, it looked seemingly perfect, Caroline wasn't happy with the way the bed looked, and pulled the duvet a bit to the left before she stepped back. Something was slightly off, so she slowly moved it an inch to the middle and glided her hand across the bed to erase any wrinkles.

She smiled, now it was truly perfect.

She turned away from the bed happy but grimaced when she stumbled on his scattered clothes defying her patience. "Unbelievable..."

She picked them up from the floor and focused on his shirt, she brought it closer to her, taking in the raw smell of Klaus. How she loved the way he smelled.

"That's fantastic, your obsession with my brother has you sniffing his clothes now." Rebekah walked inside of the bedroom with an attitude that matched her tone.

Caroline gave her a look that turned into a scold when Rebekah callously slouched on the freshly made bed.

"Are you two seriously still not tired of each other? I'd figure that you would be totally over that insatiable need by now."

Caroline smiled on her way to the ensuite. "I didn't know that we were meant to hate each other now."

"Are you not bothered of being happy all the time?"

Caroline laughed from the bathroom. "Yes, it's horrible!"

"My parents fought the entire time." Rebekah simply said as Caroline returned to the bedroom.

"So did mine, until the day my dad woke up and told my mom that he found mayor Lockwood the sexiest man alive."

Rebekah smiled. "Is that the reason you allow Nik to briskly get everything that he wishes for? Because of our terrible parents?"

Caroline crossed her arms with a sigh. "Your brother is sneaky. He doesn't demand things bluntly. Instead, he works his way into what he wants, but yes, I let him get away with a lot of things because, honestly? I spend most of my days trying to erase all the damage that your father did."

This time Rebekah toned down her teasing, she knew how accurate Caroline was.

"It took me two very long years to convince Nik that he deserves to be happy, that it's ok to be happy."

Rebekah remained quiet but she knew to what extent Mikael's efforts to crush Klaus were successful.

"When we were away, everything was perfect, and I was selfish. I had Nik like I never had him before, and I didn't have to deal with plots and plans and hybrids, witches... I had a free Nik, a smiling and laughing, happy Niklaus and I didn't want to share him with anyone else." She admitted.

Rebekah slowly stood up. "I knew that you weren't entirely happy to return home."

"I've never been this selfish before, and I feel bad for it, but I fought my way through his constant self-preservation. During our honeymoon I loved everything about the carefree hybrid, who couldn't get enough of me, that was playful and fun and slept peacefully next to me."

"I understand why you chose to be selfish, but you really didn't think that you could live alone with Nik for eternity, just going around the world on an everlasting honeymoon..."

"I believed for a minute that it would always be the hot elevator sex and the sexy easy flirting, while he taught me how to speak the language of whatever country we visited... but then we got back and already, there's Bonnie acting all strange, Stefan needing help, Vicki being back, because that's totally normal..."

"This is us, Caroline. There is never a day off with this family."

"I know. I'm just... letting it all out with my best friend, because I lost Elena and Bonnie just moved out and you are his sister, and you love him as much as I do."

"You are my best friend as well and I think that you have every right to be selfish when it comes to Nik... he loves you and I tease you both endlessly but ugh... it melts my insides when I see you all romantic like. Nik deserves to be happy."

"Is this the part where we hug?" Caroline asked with a smile.

Rebekah laughed. "We are far too cool for that."

Caroline agreed with her and by the time they left the bedroom, Caroline felt soothed.

"I need to go see Bonnie. Do you want to tag along?" She asked, hoping for the company.

Rebekah shrugged. "I don't have anything pivotal to do anyway, without school and with Damon busy helping Stefan, my days are slow."

"I hope that they can help him..."

"So... elevator sex?" Rebekah squinted.

Caroline made a hoarse guttural sound. "Oh God, I get all hot and bothered and with wobbly legs just remembering it."

Rebekah laughed. "Well... maybe I should try it once... it sounds very enticing."

"What are you doing with him?" Katherine asked Damon as he blocked her way to the Salvatore cellar.

"It is literally none of your business."

"Let me through, Damon." She hissed.

"Only if you are interested in reliving old fun memories with Klaus, I'm sure we can get you two a knife." He said with a smile.

"Why is Klaus in there with Stefan?"

"We're going to fix Stefan."

"There's nothing wrong with him."

"Says the one who has no heart."

"Your little side adventure with the Original bitch turned human, is making you soft."

"You know, Katherine... I would consider the jealousy flattering but I'm not sure Stefan would like that very much."

Katherine pressed her lips together and tried to move past him to get to Stefan, but Damon easily pushed her back.

"What the hell is wrong with you? We're vampires, remember? Blood comes with the job." She eyed him furious.

"Not going to happen." He warned her. "My brother will not go back to his old glorious ripper days."

"What are you going to do with Stefan? He won't forgive you, if you make Klaus compel him to ease the hunger."

"I might ask Klaus to compel Stefan to forget he ever shared sweat with you."

She snarled at him. "Let me go to him."

"It's out of the question, so, go fetch for another hobby. My brother is unavailable for the next couple of weeks." He turned away from her.

"Damon..."

"Take the time to straighten your hair or something." He spiked her with the Elena reference.

"Is everything alright?" Klaus asked Damon, as he joined them.

"Just the usual psychotic crap we have to deal with, whenever Katherine is around."

Klaus nodded happily that he had never developed feelings for the Doppelgänger in question, they had the sheer ability to destroy the lives of those who fell in love with them.

When Stefan came to himself, he turned facing the ground first, then he frowned looking up to the two men looking down on him.

"What is this?" He mumbled.

"Intervention." Damon opened the mini cooler that they moved to the cellar.

He took a blood bag from inside and threw it at Stefan.

"You need to learn how to control your current appetite." Klaus informed him.

Stefan refused the help and tossed the bag that landed at Klaus's feet. "I don't need anything."

Damon looked at Klaus. "We'll take shifts." He left the cellar, closing the door behind him.

Stefan sat on the ground with his arms loosely over his knees. "Didn't you hear me?"

Klaus chuckled. "I'm married to the Sheriff's daughter, and I know that you haven't just been feeding from animals, you've also slaughtered them in gory ways."

Stefan looked away, ashamed.

"I'm aware that you don't want our help, but I owe your brother and I like to keep my debts in check." Klaus picked up the blood bag, then he crouched in front of Stefan and handed him the blood. "And I also know that you wouldn't want to disappoint her memory, Elena fought harder than anyone for your humanity."

"Since when do you have a soft side?" Stefan asked suspiciously.

"Your brother has the nagging habit of saving my sister."

Stefan looked at the blood bag again and slowly reached for it, he ripped the top to drink from it, with the knowledge that this was the last blood he was having for the upcoming weeks.

Bonnie was so absorbed in her things that she startled with the knock on her door and hastily covered the table with a white piece of fabric before she rushed to open the door.

She was stunned to find Kol on her doorstep. "Hey..."

"Can we talk?" He asked her calmly.

She moved her hand, inviting him inside.

As he stood in her living room, Kol realized that he had only been here once. "I don't know how to do this..."

She searched for his eyes. "Do what?"

He fought to keep some space between them. "To be without you."

"I know that you've asked me so many times about Elijah and I always denied I had feelings for him..."

"You could have told me that I wasn't making everything up in my mind." He looked away from her.

"I didn't want to admit to anything I wasn't sure, I still don't..." She stopped as soon as he looked at her, he clearly wasn't having any half-truths today.

"That he had feelings for you I could handle because they were unrequited. But then he died, and I felt like I was losing you at the same time and I can't stop my mind from making up all of these scenarios."

"I love you Kol..." She tried to shush his mind with a hectic move that had her clasping the sides of his neck.

He wanted to believe that she still loved him the same way, that she would be with him without thinking about his dead brother, but that ongoing doubt was haunting him.

"Did you ever kiss Elijah?"

Bonnie's palms pressed his skin harder. "Kol..."

"I need to know that." He assured her. "Just that."

She shook her head. "You are blowing this out of proportion, Kol. I have never cheated on you."

"Answer me."

"I always had a big connection with Elijah. He understood me so much that I felt really comfortable around him, and it was easy to talk to him." She tried explaining but her mind was kind of foggy, because it was so full of thoughts. "But everything with you was easy…"

"Elijah never gave up on you and I just need to know if it was just him or if there was something else encouraging him."

"Why are you doing this now?"

"Because I'm not an idiot and I would appreciate it if you'd stop acting as if I'm one." Kol straightened as she pulled her hands away from him. "That's not much to ask, is it?"

"I kissed him the night you and I kissed for the first time, when you left us in the kitchen alone." She came clean with him.

"As a test drive? Before you decided that I was the perfect acolyte for your sacrifice?"

Bonnie was hurt with his words. "No..."

Kol walked over to the table and quickly exposed everything that she was hiding, he recognized a lot of items that Angelus used in his practices.

"You can't do magic Bonnie…" He looked back at her. "When will you accept that and move on?"

Bonnie pressed her stomach with both hands. "I feel it inside of me… I know that I still have magic left in me."

"You're willing to turn to black magic for him?" Kol felt absolutely disheartened.

Bonnie pressed her temple, trying to push away a stinging pain. "I love you." She said, unable to tell if she had already told him that, because it was important, he had to know how much she loved him.

"When did you realize that I wasn't enough?"

"You are enough... don't say that." She turned away from him agitated. "I just… I have to do this." She stared at a wall.

"You have to change everything that you are?"

She faced him sadly. "I'm doing this for you as well."

"You're not doing me any favors if you're delving into the black arts, on the accounts of the memories my brother left behind." He headed for the door.

"I didn't want to hurt you." She started crying silently.

Outside, Caroline and Rebekah were just arriving at Bonnie's house and met with Kol.

Rebekah at once noticed how troubled he was. "What happened?"

"I can't fight a ghost... let alone Elijah's ghost." He shook his head, discouraged.

Rebekah hugged him. Right now, he wasn't the smug brother with a sharp tongue, he was hurting, and she knew a thing or two about that.

Caroline found her friend crying on the floor and as soon as she saw her, Bonnie seemed to only sob harder, it took her a bit to calm down but once she did, they both moved to the sofa.

"Talk to me, Bonnie... how did things get to this?" Caroline couldn't make anything of it.

"I don't know, Care... everything gets worse by the day and there's nothing I can do to stop it. There's just so much confusion, and now Kol hates me, and I hate myself for hurting him so much..."

"I don't understand how Elijah is all of a sudden so important." Caroline took Bonnie's hand.

Bonnie's eyes moved in a rapid way, reacting to something showing up behind Caroline.

"Bon?" Caroline glanced back with a frown, there was nothing there. "Are you ok?" She was worried when she faced Bonnie again.

"Yes." Bonnie pushed on a smile. "I just never expected that one day Elijah would be gone."

"We all miss him, Bon… but you still have Kol." She sweetly said.

"It's not that easy…" Bonnie lowered her voice.

"Since when?" Caroline asked surprised.

"Not all of us were lucky enough to get the perfect man, just like that."

"Just like that? I had to fight for him, and he had to fight for me, but we never had any doubt that we wanted to be with each other."

"You're judging me." Bonnie called out.

"What's there to judge?" Caroline asked her bluntly.

"I'm the only one fighting for a dead man, but that doesn't mean that I went around sleeping with him behind everyone's back, I'm not like that. I didn't sleep around like all my friends did, so I'm not an expert in that."

"What's wrong with you?"

"Wrong with me? What about you? You have your perfect little life now and you couldn't care less about your friends, about me and my problems." Bonnie didn't look at her, she was rubbing her left eye, perturbed by this strange blurry vision.

"You're not well, right now." Caroline said.

"I'm fine." Bonnie raised her voice.

"You can't be because you've been acting really strange lately."

"Did you even care to take five seconds away from your constant drooling over Klaus, to acknowledge that some of us had bad things to deal with?"

It wasn't so much the tone that Bonnie was using, her entire body expression was different, and she seemed like a completely different person.

"You never included me in any of your crazy plans. Or your life!" Caroline yelled. "You and Elena were the super secretive ones, and I was never a part of anything."

"Don't bring Elena into this!" Bonnie kept her rage flaring. "I couldn't tell anyone about Kol."

"Just like you couldn't tell anyone that you broke everyone's lineage because Elijah asked you to?"

Bonnie vacillated. "How did you know?"

Caroline crossed her arms. "I may be drooling over Klaus all the time, but I've noticed the number of spells that you did."

Bonnie looked away in silence.

Easing up, Caroline tried to reach out softly. "You're my closest friend Bonnie but you're spinning out of control. There had to be limits to all of this magic and it was a good thing that the witches took your powers away. It's a sign that you needed to stop before it killed you."

"When my magic worked, everyone ignored what was happening. It soothed everyone in the house that I could do all the things that were asked of me, but now that I want something for myself, everyone turns their back on me. If it was Klaus, you would be riding into hell to bring him back with you."

"I don't even know what to tell you, Bonnie..."

Bonnie walked over to the front door. "There's nothing you can tell me and there's nothing left for you to do here."

"Why are you pushing everyone away?"

Bonnie held the door for her. "I just want to be alone, right now."

Resigning, Caroline left but not without a few words as a goodbye. "Call me when you're calmer. We need to talk about this."

Bonnie struggled with a smile. "I will."

On the way to the car, she called Klaus.

"Hello love."

His voice immediately did the trick, and she felt better about the horrible fall out with Bonnie. "Hey... how are things going with Stefan?"

"It will be a very long day... one of many more to come. We have a lot of work ahead of us."

"I have faith in you." She comforted him before resting against her car.

"Is something troubling you, sweetheart?"

She smiled. "Can we just run off to some crazy hot city, do a little sightseeing and then snuggle naked?"

"Name the city and I'll take you there tonight."

"And the crazy thing is that I know you would actually do it."

"I would do anything for you, Caroline."

The words warmed her heart. "I know and I love you."

"I love you too and I won't spend the night here, so I'll see you soon."

Caroline smiled, ending the call with an idea brewing in her mind.

Truthfully, she wasn't alone with Klaus anymore and half the things she had planned for their honeymoon had been put on hold, but whoever said that she had to give up on them altogether?

Bonnie neared the table feeling somber.

She also had a headache, and she was cold.

With a slow motion, she pulled her cardigan together and tried to focus on what she had to do.

It was better than giving attention to the other woman in the room and Bonnie channeled all of strengths to read the Grimoire.

When she turned pages there was a falling drop of blood smearing the spell and instantly Bonnie touched her nose, her fingers came back dirty with blood, so that wasn't good.

Damon was preparing a drink when he heard her arrive.

"I brought supplies." Rebekah dropped two heavy paper bags on the sofa, they were filled with food but there was also a treat for Damon.

"Nice!" He beamed when she handed him a bottle of bourbon.

"Is Nik with Stefan?" She asked, taking the Chinese food out of the bag.

"Yes, they're reliving the Rat Pack good old days. It's distracting Stefan, so that's a bonus."

"He is trying this willingly then?" She asked Damon while removing her jacket.

"I think that my brother knows that he hit rock bottom when he started decapitating squirrels."

Rebekah smiled as she came closer to Damon. "My brother Kol hit his bottom today as well."

"You're all very intense and consuming like."

Rebekah flirted with her eyes and her smile. "There's nothing wrong with some extreme loving, Damon."

"I wouldn't know a thing about that." He opened the bottle eager for a taste.

"Who wants the boring, sweet old-fashioned love, anyway?"

"Not me." He had a big sip from the bottle.

"For a fact?" She asked him curious about his reaction.

After a double look, he noticed how serious she was, and they stared at each other for the longest minute.

It was an intense moment that was only interrupted because his phone started buzzing, he reached inside of his pocket upset with the timing.

"Liz... I hope you have really super good, awesome news." After her reply, he put his drink away instantly. "Okay... thank you a bunch." He smiled at Rebekah while ending the call.

On the spot, she knew that their moment was over.

"So, you know... thanks for the company and all." Damon told Klaus as they made their way to a dodgy motel just outside of town.

"Rebekah sort of pushed me into it, she didn't want you to be alone with a vampire that has a vendetta fixation."

Damon stopped in front of a green door. "I have my share of enemies." He wiggled his eyebrows. "You're not the only one with really annoying people after you."

Klaus smiled. "It's not even fair competition, Damon."

The blue-eyed vampire kicked the door open.

After a quick inspection, they found it unoccupied, so they divided tasks.

While near the bed, Damon looked for any trace of identification to give name to the ugly face, Klaus opened the small closet to see if he was intending on staying here for long.

"Where can a vampire who can't walk in the sun be?" Damon asked, while going through some papers that were scattered over the unmade bed.

Klaus had other pressing questions on his hand, behind a few hanging clothes, there was a collection of pictures stuck to the back wall of the closet. "I would love to know that myself, so that I can kill him."

Damon came over to see the show and he wasn't a bit happy to find a few pictures of Rebekah and himself. "How big is his death wish?"

Klaus didn't answer him because he was looking at the paper that Damon was holding, it had the symbol of a wolf like he had seen in Brazil.

"Caroline?" Klaus called as he stepped inside of his bedroom, realizing that she was in the bathroom.

He was quickly sending Damon a message as they needed to find out more about the man who had been taking pictures of his sister, and why he had associations to the crazy cult that Angelus told him about.

"I seem to have a bit of a problem..." Caroline softly spoke, as she came into sight.

"You do, love?" He asked without looking at her, he just needed to end his trail of thought.

"Yes..." Her voice was low and sweet. "... I was trying this cute little thing and now I don't know how to get out of it..."

Klaus frowned and finally looked up, confused.

"... would you be willing to help me?" She asked him innocently.

Klaus dropped his phone harshly on the floor.

Caroline was in front of him wearing a baby-pink satin, sexy bustier corset, it had intricated detailed lace and the last touches were made of tiny black satin bows. Her flawless long hair fell in cascades over her naked shoulders, and her look was complimented in that unique and different way, with sexy tiny ruffle pink boy-shorts.

"I... didn't finish my message." He mumbled.

Caroline walked over to him. "Hi Nik..." She whispered seductively and got on her toes to place a soft quick peck on his lips.

"Hello..." He managed to say, was it Christmas and no one bothered telling him?

She smiled in that perfect mix of innocence and mischievousness. "How was your day?"

Klaus licked his lips slowly. "Obviously, not a bit as eventful as yours."

She touched his chest slowly and rested her weight on one leg, the other was leisurely bending, and her knee brushed his growing bulge as she playfully moved her leg from one side to the other. "I've missed you today, Niklaus."

Klaus smirked. "I missed you too, love... but what have I done to grant me such kindness?"

He was a bit lost, with the way that the sexy garment graced her body so wonderfully, showing just enough skin to make him want to undress her entirely.

"Can't a wife be nice to her husband?" She whispered and turned around, resting against his chest.

Klaus felt his entire body react in more ways than one, he closed his eyes for a second as her sweet summer smell hit him hard and that's not all that hit him as she playfully tilted her head so that she could sizzle him with those powerful eyes of hers, that were hiding behind long black eyelashes.

"Caroline... sweetheart. I had something really important to tell you, but I can't function properly right now."

She smiled with a purse of her lips and a sassy question in her eyes.

"I've chosen the wrong words." He assured her.

Cunningly, she moaned. "Good."

"How can I be of assistance?" He glided his palms along her shoulders.

"My outfit has a side zipper, but I thought that tonight we could do this the old-fashion way..."

She touched her voluptuous bust trapped inside of the really tight lingerie and started making little circles on her ivory skin.

This wasn't even a dream come true because he had never even dared to imagine Caroline in one of these things, simply because the image alone would make him hard but now, he actually had her in a corset.

"I will rip this thing away from your body in a microsecond." He whispered against her neck.

Caroline leaned back a bit more, she melted against him and touched his hand before closing her eyes.

"No... I want you to take your time..." She whispered, pulling away from him.

She grabbed the rim of his Henley, slowly pulling the cotton fabric up his torso while she leaned in for a kiss.

They moved towards their bed, and he smiled into one of her sweet demanding kisses, his Caroline was really getting sneaky with her methods to mess with him.

She turned around and Klaus gently moved her hair to the side to expose her shoulders to him, he glued his sinful lips to the skin on her neck, moving them over to her shoulder next and Caroline closed her eyes enjoying his seduction.

He undid the little black satin bow in the back and slowly opened her corset, he kissed every bit of skin that he revealed and once he was done with all the small hooks, he ran the back of his hand down her spine.

Caroline shivered, delighted.

Skillfully, Klaus removed the garment away from her body whilst he went back to trail her neck with his lips and his tongue.

She sighed when his hands cupped her breasts, but he didn't linger there for long. She may be an expert in the arts of seducing him, but he was a master in the arts of slowly pleasing his wife.

His hands moved to her stomach, and he pressed her heated body to his.

Caroline moaned when he lowered one hand between her legs. "Hmmm..."

"I believe you've requested for me to take my time…" He whispered, before letting the tip of his tongue play with her ear.

Caroline closed her eyes when he slid a finger into her wet and throbbing warmth. "Niklaus..." She rested her head against his shoulder and tilted her neck, exposing it to him.

His smile was big and satisfied by the way she tensed in lust around his fingers, and he framed her neck with a hand, while between her legs, he slowly circled his fingers a certain way that had her digging her fingers into his leg.

He paved her neck with soft kisses, before finding her mouth.

Klaus kissed her, removing his fingers from her warmth and his body from her back.

"Sit down…" He kissed her again softly on the lips.

Caroline trapped her lower lip between her teeth as she sat down on the bed and expectantly looked at him.

Klaus reverently knelt in front of her and pulled her underwear down her legs.

Everything exploded inside of Caroline as he started to pleasure her with a lazy tongue and she knotted her fingers with his hair, tugging it every time that he sent a wave of bliss through her body and she easily reached her orgasm, throwing her head back with a loud whimper.

He stood up with a smile, moving her hair away from her features as she laid back in bed.

"You really are beautiful… Caroline Forbes Mikaelson." He stroked her heated cheek.

She smiled at him in love.
