Disclaimer: I don't anything VA related

"Roza do you know what tomorrow is?" Zoya asked as she sat next, eating a slice of the pizza Dimitri brought for dinner.

"Mmm Saturday?" I asked, taking a sip of my drink while Anja was in my other arm, looking around with wide eyes. I'd periodically look at her and make funny faces.

"No!" she said, giggling. "It's my birthday!"

I gasped and looked at her with wide eyes. "It is! Oh no!"

Her smile dropped and her eyes watered. "You forgot? So I don't get my present?"

"I dunno. I guess you'll have to wait for tomorrow," I said, giving her a knowing smile that made her mood lighten again.

"Don't scare me like that!" she said, going into another fit of giggles.

"Do you guys want to watch a movie?" Dimitri asked as he came back with my third plate.

"Yea!" Paul said, him and Zoya going to decide on a movie. When they came back I asked if they wanted to stay out in the family room or go to my room where they can go to sleep after watching. They decided on my room so while they brought their things and I helped them settle in, Dimitri stayed in the kitchen making popcorn.

"Roza, where are we sleeping?" Paul asked as I finished barricading Anja with pillows on the bed.

"In here. I have a mattress I can inflate that you and Zoya will sleep on, and Anja sleeps with me," I said, laying out said mattress.

"Yea but what about Uncle Dimka?"

"Who said he's staying the night?" I said, a smirk on my lips.

"He brought a duffle bag like Zoya and I." Damn the kid was observant.

"Well, I guess he's going to have to sleep on the same bed as me."

"But he has cooties," Zoya shrilled.

"I don't see you staying away from him missy," I said.

"He's my uncle, his cooties don't work on me."

"Well he's my boyfriend so they don't work on me either. Now why don't you guys go to the bathroom and change while I inflate the bed, yea?" They ran off into the bathroom, while I turned on the pump, quickly getting Anja and I out of the room so we wouldn't have to hear the loud noise it makes. After making sure it was inflated enough, I went back in and turned it off and returned Anja to her little box while I got sheets, pillows, and blankets for the bed.

"So what movie are we watching?" I asked after we all settled into my bed, my DVD player ready for me to load the movie. Dimitri and I were against my headboard, Anja still in my arms, while Zoya and Paul were laying down in front of us, closest to the screen. Dimitri had brought a bucket of buttered popcorn that tasted like it came from the theater, and the remaining pizza. He was going to bring the soda too, but decided it was too late to give the kids more sugar.

"Well Zoya and I couldn't really pick one so we each grabbed one," Paul said. "We can watch Zoya's first so she can fall asleep during mine."

"Sounds good," Dimitri said as he got up and grabbed Frozen from Zoya.

As predicted, Zoya was passed out by the time Spiderman, the Andrew Garfield one, actually started, Since I had seen it enough times I could probably quote the lines, I crawled out of bed and took Zoya to the bathroom to use it and to brush her teeth and then tucked her in bed, which was adjacent to the TV, so the brightness wouldn't wake her up. Paul was struggling to stay awake at the end of it, so as soon as the final scene happened, Dimitri ushered him to the bathroom to get ready for bed. Anja had passed out early into the movie night so I was watching her sleep. I know it sounds creepy, but it was so cute seeing her with her mouth slightly opened as she breathed slowly, and her arms bent up so her hands were next to her head.

"I know you're probably tired," Dimitri said as I felt the bed dip as he got in. "But I also picked a movie, if you want to watch it." I looked up at him and smiled, leaning in to give him a kiss.

"I'm actually not tired. What did you pick?" His cheeks blushed a bit as he pulled up a movie cover with John Travolta on it. "Grease?"

"Yea…um funny story…when I was a kid I always watched this movie, I mean living in Russia not many movies came our way, but this one did and well I loved it. I wanted to be Danny Zuko. It's weird but I could see him as a cowboy so it was like I could be both. Like Grease Lightening was his steed. Either way, whenever that number came on I would jump and pull from under the couch," he said, his face redder. I laughed and gave him another kiss.

"I always wanted to be Sandy, leather pants Sandy," I admitted. He looked at me, his eyes slightly wide as he realized I was a fan of the movie too. "So are you gonna put it on or not…stud?"

He put the movie in and I moved Anja to the side of the bed that was against the wall so I could watch it while in his arms. It goes without saying that was probably the best viewing I've had of the movie. We'd laugh together, me pointing out some of the innuendos he hadn't noticed, and sang along to the songs we knew by heart. When it was over, we placed Anja back to the middle and went to bed, Dimitri staying on baby duty like the good boyfriend he is.

When I woke up, I didn't want to open my eyes. I felt Anja in my arms, silent so she was still asleep. I could hear the deep breathes of the kids as they slept, and also Dimitri's slow breathing next to me. Next me? He's suppose to be on the other side of the baby, but I could hear him breathe (and feel it against my neck) and feel his heart beat steadily against my back, I could also feel the warmth from his hand on my stomach. Now I really didn't want to open my eyes, since that would mean having to get up.

I felt my heart quicken when his lips started placing butterfly kisses on my neck.

"Good morning," he said as he turned me so I was on my back. His kisses started going lower, skipping over my chest and moving onto my stomach. I tried to stay still but the lower he got on my stomach, the harder it was to lay still until I squirmed as he got to the hem of my shorts.

"That's just cruel you know," I said, opening my eyes and seeing him looking at me, his eyes dancing with humor. I tried to get out of his hold, but his hands just tightened. "You are such a tease. Plus, it's not like we're going to do anything."

"Oh no?" he asked as he shifted back up, coming to eye level, rubbing his lower half against mine.

"Your nieces and nephew are here!" I whispered.

"We can be quiet," he taunted as his hand down my body and rubbed me over my shorts. My legs automatically tightened, making him laugh, but as he kept massaging my grip loosened and I let out a soft moan. His lips came down on my, conveying the passion and want I had brewing inside me. My hands reached down and started to lift his shirt, but he just chuckled and pulled away. "There are children here, Roza."

He got up, a mischievous smile on his lips as he left my room, leaving me with my jaw open and body all hot and wanting. I sat up, wondering if maybe I should just take a cold shower and call it a day, but the more I thought about it the more I realized how completely unfair it was that I'm the only suffering. After making sure Anja was safely guarded by my pillows, and the kids were still asleep, I followed the noise as I rolled up my shorts, so they just covered my ass. I walked into the kitchen, with a look of indifference as Dimitri looked up from what he was doing, struggling to keep a calm face as I walked passed and straight to the fridge. For no real purpose except to get a reaction from him, I bent over to look for something, shifting the weight to one foot to the other. Then grabbed the bag of grapes and the jug of orange juice before going next to Dimitri and grabbing a cup to pour some juice into. It wasn't until I leaned against the counter, still acting indifferent, he found his voice.

"I'm making breakfast," he said hoarsely, his accent thicker than normal.

"Yea? Well I'm not hungry," I said, as I walked behind and wrapped my arms around him, grabbing his manhood in my hand and gently squeezing, making him moan. "At least not in that sense."

Swiftly he turned around and pushed me against the wall, his lips crashing down to mine. I smiled as I returned the kiss and he grabbed my ass and lifted me so we were at the same level, my legs automatically wrapping around him as my hands entangled into his hair. He took a few steps and sat me on the counter, one of his hands going up and grabbing my hair.

"Do you realize what you do to me?" he asked when he broke away for some air.

"I have an idea," I said mockingly as I rubbed my lower half against his, making him moan into my neck. When he bent down for another kiss, I pulled back and hopped off the counter. "There are kids here, Comrade. I think you should take a shower before they come out."

"What about breakfast?"

"How hard can it be to scramble a few eggs?"

After looking at me with worry, he decided I had a point and went to take a cold shower, probably Antarctica cold. Let's just say, at least for me, scrambling a few eggs is very hard…and very dangerous…

The kids woke up soon after Dimitri left to take a shower, possibly because of the blaring fire alarm. Once Dimitri had thrown away my failed attempt of cooking and got the alarm to turn off, he started making breakfast - scrambled eggs, bacon, and pancakes. I stuck to warming the baby's milk and feeding her.

"Zoya, I have a present for you," I said once they finished eating. Her big brown eyes lit up and she ran to my lap, excited to open her presents. "Well it's from Olena, but she asked me to give it to you."

I had barely started pulling the bag out from behind me before she swiped from me and tissue paper was thrown into the air. Her excitement made Anja laugh and Paul cringe.

"Can I wear it?" she asked hopefully as she laid the outfit in front of her.

"I sure hope so," I said, a smile permanently etched on my face.

She had gotten a white t-shirt with a black Mickey Mouse head with small white polka dots and a pink bow with big white polka dots. There was also a matching ruffled tiered skirt, the first and last tier pink like the bow with the same big polka dots while the second one was black with small white polka dots. It came with a pair of black slip-on dress shoes, with a strap across the middle. Lastly, I got her a hair clip with two bows, the back and big one was black with white polka dots, and the front and smaller one was pink with bigger white polka dots.

"You know you could show it off in the park," Dimitri said as he grabbed everyone's dishes. She nodded her head and ran to the room to change.

"Brush your teeth first!" I shouted before walking into the kitchen to talk to Dimitri. "So how are we going to get the cake and the pizza without her getting suspicious?"

"Easy…you get called into work and I take the kids to the park," he said.

"Huh that's a good plan. But how come I have to go to work? And you get to go to the park?"

"You seriously think you can take care of two children running around in the park and a baby?"

"Well…what if you guys stay here watching movies and playing games while I go pick the stuff up and then we meet at your mom's place? By the way, what time are we suppose to get over there?"

"Um I think Mama said no earlier than like 12:30. But I think you should go first since you got the food."

"Hold on," I said pulling out my phone.

"Hello this is Pizza Palace, how can I help you?" said the pizza chick that answered.

"Hi, I have a order for Rose to pick up around 12."

It was silent for a while before she spoke. "Yes, quite a big order. Is it a birthday party?"

"Yup. I was actually wondering how hard it would be get it dropped off?"

"Not that hard. Do you want it to be dropped off at 12?"

"No, at 12:30 if that's fine, I'll have the card there ready to pay."

"That's perfect than. We'll see you at 12, Miss Rose."

"You sure will," I said sweetly before calling Lissa and asking if she could by at the Belikova's by 12:30 to pay for the pizza and I'd pay her back. Of course, she agreed. I felt Dimitri wrap his arms around me as he asked me what the plan was now. "So now all I have to get is -"

"Roza!" Zoya screamed as she came running in. "Can you do my hair?"

"Of course," I said as I brought out a stool for her to sit on. Her hair was naturally curly and thick. I grabbed a piece of it from the front, so it wouldn't fall in her face, and clipped it in the back. "How does that look sweetie?"

"I love it!" she said before turning around, standing on the stool and hugging me tightly. "Can we go now?"

"Actually sweetie there's been a change of plans." Seeing the happiness fall off her face and tears build up in her eyes. "Aw sweetie, wait! I uh got called into uh work so Dimitri said he'd watch over you and Paul. It's just for a few hours and then I'm going to meet you at your house."

"Oh ok," she said, I could hear the disappointment masked behind her enthusiasm.

I gave her a quick kiss before going up to change. It was the beginning of February, so I decided to dress for any weather. I decided on a dark wash pair of skinny jeans, with a soft off white cashmere sweater and a turquoise blazer, pairing it with nude sandal wedges with an ankle strap and a turquoise cross hatch look bag.

As I went out to the living room, Dimitri walked by with Paul to get ready and I found Zoya in front of the TV, watching Dora the Explorer while playing with Anja.

"Do you want to help me dress her?" I asked as I sat down on the floor with them. Zoya nodded her head and ran to get clothes for the baby. I started undressing her and changing her diaper. When Zoya came back, I held onto Anja as she put the clothes on. "There we go now we have two beautiful princesses ready to have fun."

"Roza does it take long to do your hair?" Zoya asked as we played with Anja.

I ran a hand through my sleek, straight hair. "Not usually. But today I decided to spend a little time on it." I had straighten it and slipped on a turquoise headband, peaking my bangs through. Zoya ran her small hands through it, her eyes widening.

"It feels so soft and and silky! How did you do that?"

"You really wanna know?" She nodded her head so hard I was scared it would pop off. "Well I dry it with a t-shirt and I put on this liquid so it stays shiny."

"Can I have some?"

"Next time," I said, laughing when she pouted. Dimitri and Paul finally joined us and I packed Anja's bag and carried her to my car and put her in the car seat. I went back to the house to grab my purse and say goodbye. Of course, Dimitri walked me to my car.

"You know I could see this…us with kids," he said as he placed his hands on my waist.

"Yea?" I asked before I thought about it for a bit. "I can too actually." I wrapped my arms around his neck and brought his head down and kissed him.

"Marry me," he said breatheless when we pulled apart. I laughed and shook my head, thinking he was joking but when I looked up to his eyes, the laughter died. "Marry me, Roza."

"No," I said, softly. "We haven't even come out with our relationship and you want to add engagement to it? Plus, no offense, but when you do this I want the one knee and the ring." He got down on one knee and grabbed a ribbon laying on the floor in the backseats of the car. He tied it around my ring finger and looked up at me. I laughed and lifted him up. "I love you, Dimitri. And I want to marry you…but not yet…not until I graduate college and know what I'm doing with my life. And it's just…we just got back together and after the hell we've lived the past six or so months I think we just need to relax, date and enjoy being with each other again."

"So no?"

I laughed and shook my head and gave him a peck on the lips, but stayed lingering. "Soooo hold on. I'd like to celebrate our first anniversary before you put a ring on me."

He let out a sigh before catching my lips in a heated kiss. "I'm holding you to that," he said when we broke apart as he opened the front door for me. "I'll see in a little bit."

"Sounds good." As I pulled away, I couldn't help but picture a future like this. Living in the same big mansion, Dimitri saying behind to get the kids ready and taking them to school while I leave earlier to go to work, whatever that may be.

"Is that the cake?" Olena asked as I hurried into the backyard.

"Yea. Where should I put it?" I asked before I spotted the big space on the table to the side, big enough for the cake. I gave a questioning look, getting a nod in response before taking the cake out of the box putting it into the space.

"That's gorgeous," she said as Sonya joined us.

"The whole set up is gorgeous. I hope you'll help decorate your grandchildren's parties." My eyes widened as the last part slipped out. This whole day I've been thinking about what life with Dimitri would be like, having kids and a job and the love of my life. I saw Sonya raise her eyebrow, while Karo rushed over and asked what happened, and Olena's eyes bugged out as she looked at me and then at my stomach and back at me.

"You're pregnant?" Karo asked.

"Uh well no…but I meant…well…" I stuttered, not knowing what to say.

"Did he propose?" Sonya prompted.

"Kinda. I thought he was joking! But he looked so serious but we just started going out again. I mean my friends don't even know!"

"Know what?" Lissa asked as she came to greet me.

"That Dimitri stayed the night at her place," Karo said quickly.

"He did?! But I thought you had the kids. Oh, Rose!"

"Hey! Nothing happened!" I said in a flustered tone, realizing I lied.

"Yea su-" she started to say before my phone went off. I looked and suddenly all my wishful thinking, panic, and flustering went away as pure excitement and joy took place.

"They're a few minutes away," I said anxiously. "EVERYONE! SHE'S COMING!"

All of Zoya's friends annd their family, some neighbors, Lissa and Christian went to the part side of the backyard you couldn't see from the side entrance door. Sonya, Karo, Olena and I stood right in view so when she walked in she would see us. We heard Dimitri's truck pull up and the opening and closing of doors.

"Why is that sign up?" Zoya asked. On the front of the door was a three layered sign that said "Welcome to Zoya's Clubhouse!" The 'Welcome' was on a pink plate, the 'to Zoya's' on another, and 'Clubhouse!' on the third. Each was connected to the next on a pink ribbon as hit hung down vertically. The o's were shaped to like mickey's head and the top of the plates had a pink Minnie bow.

"I don't know, maybe we should go see," Dimitri said. I could hear the smile in his voice.

Slowly the wooden door creaked open, the Belikova woman and I had on a big, cheeky grin. When she came through, confusion filled her face, probably wondering why were standing in the middle of the backyard smiling like idiots. Before she could ask, everyone jumped out.

"SURPRISE!" they all shouted. Her reaction was priceless. Thank God I slyly had my phone positioned to take a picture of it.
